"There's a lot going on with this menu, which spans several Asian cuisines including Chinese and Thai. However, it’s impossible to go wrong with the Malaysian and Indonesian choices. Must haves include the roti canai, a crispy style pancake with curry chicken and potato dipping sauce, and the beef rendang, tender meat cooked in coconut milk." - Dorothy Hernandez, Serena Maria Daniels

"It was at this Paddington spot (from the people behind Sudu) that we cheated on beef rendang. We have no remorse. Because the sambal tumis udang petai—a stir-fried prawn and petai (also known as stinky bean) dish—is equal parts spicy, creamy, and addictive. And that’s not all that’s great about this moody Malaysian restaurant. The menu is filled with comforting classics done extremely well, in a cosy and intimate two-floor space. The street level dining room is ideal for small groups, with plenty of round tables for four, while the basement is where to bring a date or a big group, tucked away in their mini cave. They usually save a couple of tables for walk-ins but it’s a popular spot so book ahead to avoid having to wait." - Rianne Shlebak

Haven’t tried everything yet but the Hannaies chicken and Malaysia fried noodles are very good flavor. Was hoping for more vegetables in them. Will return for the rest of the manual.

LOVE this place!! Everything is so flavorful! One of my most favorite dishes is the roti canai with curry dipping sauce. The best part is that many of their dishes can be made vegetarian and/or vegan/plant-based, just ask! I especially love the fried mushrooms and stir fried tofu+green beans+peanuts. I always make it a point to come here whenever I visit Michigan, it is one of my top favorite restaurants for my vegetarian/plant based lifestyle 😄

Google
This was my first time trying Malaysian food and it did not disappoint. Satay chicken had a sweet interesting taste. I also had a coconut boba milk tea and it was delicious and flavored. Tried the beef with noodle dish, and I can say the portion is a lot. So be ready to pack for home some food!

Google
This is like the only place you're ever going to get any Malaysian food anywhere in the Detroit metro area. With that said, these guys don't play and the food here is straight 🔥🔥 The roast pork noodle soup and the beef rendang are really good. If the Dong Po Pork is being served off the special menu, then get that since it literally MELT IN YOUR MOUTH.

I got food poisoning eating from this place! I have been to this restaurant a couple of times over the past few years.Being a malaysian myself i was happy to have found a malaysian restaurant but the restaurant owner that serves has been more rude over the years. She is very unfriendly. I brought my son for dinner and i had Beef Chow Fun and my son had Won Ton Noodle Soup. That night i suffered from severe tummy ache, vomiting and diarrhea. Their atmosphere is very minimal and they didn’t even bother to refill our glass of water or check on us. The host is very unfriendly and her portions of food and prices are ridiculous for that kind of restaurant atmosphere. The portion are very less and you will have to end up buying two or three items just to have a decent lunch. It’s not worth it at all and i will not recommend this place to anyone.

If you want authentic malay food in Michigan you should go to this place. We tried the satay tofu and it was very crunchy and cucumber mad satay sauce was a great complement. The spicy steamed fish was good but I think it is a bit pricey.

Google
Ordered Fresh Young Coconut ($5.95), Roti Canai ($5.25), Satay Beef ($9.95), Asam Laksa ($12.95), Cantonese Chow Fun ($11.95), Beef Rendang w. Rice ($14.95), Pulut Hitam ($5.5). Roti Canai is good but could be crispier. Beef Rendang has relatively small portion for a main dish and only had 6 piece of meats. Cantonese Chow Fun turned better than anticipated. Asam Laksa has good flavor and nice rice noodles but not much protein. Overall, I was exciting too see many dishes listed on the menu that were hard to get within the state and will be interested in trying other items in the future. However, my friends were bothered with the bathrooms and were not given the full itemized receipt before payment (paid at the counter on the way out); thus 4 stars. Looking forward to seeing improvements in this in future visit.

Google
Their vegetarian dishes are delicious. Will visit it again for sure!!!!!!!!!

Yelp
One of the best Asian restaurant in town. Never disappoint. Menu changed a little bit but they still have the originals. 5 star because this is the only Malaysian/Singaporean restaurant so there is nothing to compare to. Did I have better chicken and stir fry from other cities or countries. Yes. It is a family restaurant so service can be lacking so have some patience

Steven E.

Yelp
Should be called "Satay House of Flavour!" I don't know what they do to their Curry Mee With Young Tao Fu, but it is phenomenal. Can you say lemongrass coconut curry? They have also perfected their Penang Prawn Mee with hard boiled egg. Tonight we hang with a vegan couple and a vegetarian couple. They shared the reason they eat here is because most every dish can be prepared for them. The service is very efficient. Not much for conversation, but they really take care of you. Refills and tipped off water glasses are a thing of beauty. I bet we'll be back. The prices may seem a bit high. The portions are large and the fare divine! 08/24

Yelp
They have consistently good hainan chicken. This is the first time reviewing other dishes. Hainan chicken: soft, juicy, tender, pairs great with chili and garlic sauces. Savory. This is their classic so if you get one thing, get this. Chicken rice: it's infused with chicken broth/fat because it is very savory and enjoyable. In the picture I ordered half order of hainan chicken and side of rice which I think is the most worth it. Curry Mee with Young Tao Fu - fried tofu in savory noodle soup with egg noodle. It is a little spicy but not too bad. Has a unique Malaysian taste that we could not recreate at home. I'm glad I tried this dish! Chow Fen - Fried chow fen with bok choy, mixed seafood, in savory brown sauce. This is also pretty uniquely malaysian and I'm glad I tried this. It is a bit heavy with the corn starch and thick but overall a satisfying dish. Service: staff was rude, short, and honestly too be expected and we didn't come for the service. We were told to move the high chair to our table. Ambiance. Some Malaysian decorations but not much. Chairs/table standard. Nothing special. It is so unique even for my East Asian palette, and their Hainan chicken never disappoints.

Jeremy N.

Yelp
The Hainanese chicken dish was simple, but it was exactly what I wanted. The wok hei on the fried noodles exceeded expectations! Loved the food and the service. Small and quiet place with lots of options on the menu.

Angela G.

Yelp
I really liked this spot for the variety of Malaysian and Pan-Asian cuisine. It's hearty, flavorful, and delicious. I tried their Pad Thai, Malaysian fried rice, Singaporean noodles, and Roti with curry chicken.

Kat T.

Yelp
Great place to go and try Malaysian food. Restaurant is simply decorated with large windows. Similar to a diner in ambiance. Service friendly. Food was fresh and flavorful. Food more geared toward Chinese Malay than Indian.

Roy S.

Yelp
Good and homey, could be a little friendlier . Close to home cooking, I believe due to ingredients makes the noticeable flavor change. But I would come back.

Jamie C.

Yelp
Yum! What a gem of a find. It was actually a little hard to find because the outdoor signage is not obvious. We are happy we stopped by. We had chicken satay, Indian mee goreng, Roti Canai, beef rendang and Hainan chicken. Everything was delicious. We wished they had some better hot sauce (sambal) but it was still fine. The server(?) was sitting with friends who were eating so it was hard to get her attention. She was nice enough though.

Anna W.

Yelp
What a great place to try Singaporean/Malaysian food! Came with a group and we ordered a variety of dishes -- Hainanese chicken (of course), roti canai, Asam Laksa, Kang Kung Belacan, and Malaysian Fried Noodle. The Hainanese chicken was very yummy -- soft, flavorful with good sauces on the side. I have definitely had more "silky" textured Hainanese chicken outside of Detroit, but this definitely hits the spot. My favorite dish though was probably the Kang Kung Belacan as I am a huge fan of water spinach, and the savory shrimp paste makes it 1000x tastier. The roti Canai was pretty standard, with a pretty decent sized roti. The Malaysian Fried Noodle was pretty good - more mildly flavored and a good palate cleanser. We weren't the biggest fan of the laksa -- felt that it was a bit bitter in flavor and not like the sour/spicy laksa's we are used to. Overall though, we had a great meal and the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of food!

Yelp
We stopped in for a quick lunch on Saturday at noon. The restaurant was completely empty at this time and only 2 more parties showed up before we finished. We got the following: Roti Canai - I'm pretty sure this was a pan fried frozen roti. It did not have the glass-like crisp of a freshly made roti; it was kind of sad and floppy. The curry it came with had a good concentrated curry flavor. It had an extremely undercooked piece of potato inside and a small piece of chicken. Asam Laksa - The broth base for the Laksa has the correct tamarind sourness, sugar sweetness, chili spiciness, and a somewhat fishy savoriness, but it's missing a robustness or depth that comes with a broth that has been simmering for hours. The noodles were good though - perfectly cooked and bouncy laksa rice noodles. The toppings included bean sprouts, julienned cucumbers, sliced onions, halved fishballs, and some (canned?) fish. Curry Mee - Coconutty sweet, spicy and savory with a slight curry flavor, but once again, the broth was on the weak side. The egg noodles were overcooked. The toppings were good - you can't go wrong with bean sprouts, tofu skin and stuffed fried tofu. The service was basically non existent - we had to grab our own soup spoons and we never had our water refilled. There were two dead fruit flies on the table we sat at. I don't know if it's true, but to my taste buds, I feel Satay House mostly uses jarred or canned sauce/soup bases with canned and frozen toppings. If you've visited Malaysia or even just been to a Malaysian restaurant in a city with a higher Malaysian population, Satay House feels very average in comparison. This is the only Malaysian restaurant in Metro Detroit so I think they get a pass from a lot of people. Unfortunately, it's just not that great for me.

Yelp
This was one of the few places that was open on Christmas day, so my friends and I popped in and had one of the best dining experiences. There's not a ton of Malaysian food options in the area, so it's nice to find such an underrated cuisine represented so well. We ordered numerous dishes and shared amongst each other, and every dish was incredible with a ton of flavor. The staff was extremely kind and provided recommendations and was able to substitute ingredients out for a vegetarian friend. I always look forward to coming back here and highly recommend them!

Christian M.

Yelp
Literally love this place. It's so simple and straight forward. No frills. No bs. I like that. There's not very many Malaysian restaurants, so the diversity is quite nice. The food here is always great. Service is excellent. The owners and waitresses are very nice.

Rob M.

Yelp
First time having Malay food. The roti is great. My Thai wife always craves the pork and wonton noodles.

Jean M.

Yelp
I just started going back here again in the last few months and I can not remember why I didn't eat here for a couple of years! Everything I've had here has been really good too. It's so hard to decide what to order! This was my second time having their delicious pineapple fried rice. First time I had it was a couple months ago with some friends and it was so tasty I had to order an order for myself! Their roti canai is really good and something a bit different to try here (no pics). Service is good, the lady remembered me from my previous visit and the prices are fair too!

Artha N.

Yelp
We eat at this restaurant before going to Kim Nhung store. Actually I wanted to try the food here long time ago. I crave satays, and don't have time to make it by myself. So, it is good to have an alternative. The satays are okay. The beef one is better, and the chicken satay is slightly undercooked. But the peanut sauce is excellent. The roti canai is great and fun for sharing. Hanainan rice is also tasty. I eat the rice with curry from the canai bread. We don't have much time to order another food. Next time I will try fried rice and kangkong balacan. They look so good in pictures.

Ser L.

Yelp
The roti canai and satay skewers are the best. Generous portions and food never disappoints They have a lovely authentic Malay menu but also offer regular Americanized Asian fare.

Yang C.

Yelp
Hey peeps! Im back haha. This is probably the only Malaysian joint in town (tell me if I'm wrong please). What's Malaysian food you ask? It's like a fusion between Chinese food and Indian food - that's my take a least. This is the 2nd time I've been here since the pandemic started and it's pretty good stuff. Prices are very reasonable as well. I'd highly recommend the appetizer: roti canai. The flatbread is crispy on the outside but really fluffy and stretchy on the inside. It's a great combo of texture and flavor - mildly sweet. Dip that in the sauce/soup that it comes with (curry with a piece of chicken and potato) and omg - amazing! Other than that, the dishes were ok with some being better than others but I would say the appetizers and I would venture to say even deserts are the stars here. I'll be coming here again to try more stuff and update this review in the future for sure!

Yelp
I was really excited to see a Malaysian/Singaporean restaurant around here since they tend to be quite rare around the US in comparison to more East Asian restaurants. I might be biased since I recently came back from Singapore, but the pricing of the food was a little odd at the satay being $8.50 while the chow keuh teow being $9.95. The satay was definitely overpriced in comparison to the chow keuh teow. I also got an iced milo to go with my food which was around $4. The satay did taste authentic, and the chow keuh teow was good, but unfortunately the iced milo I had was a little watered down. My friend got a vegetarian tofu "chicken" rice, and I was expecting the dish to be served with coconut rice like it usually is with nasi lemak, but it was just served with plain rice instead. The restaurant was completely empty when me and a friend went, so the family had their kid running around, but I didn't pay much mind to them.

Lin I.

Yelp
The Indian bread and Satay tofu are really great! Indian bread has crispy edge and soft middle; the cucumber inside the tofu adds an extra texture to the dry and crispy shell, with the peanut and satay sauce wakening your tongue! The pudding has more coconut flavor than more usual milk flavor, you would love it if you prefer fresh taste. Chicken rice and Bak Kut Teh are okay to order. Indian bread satay tofu coconut pudding chicken rice Bak Kut Teh

Yelp
My husband and i was looking a unique Asian cuisine and we found a Malaysian place. We came from city of Troy, and driving I-75 South bound for i-696. While we've been to a Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, etc, all around Michigan, it was our first time, to try a Malaysian dish.We came here for dinner and it was great. There were several tables being served, but its not that busy on a Saturday prime time. Reception: Spacious receiving area, clean and friendly welcoming person. Food and Service As this is our first time dining here, we asked the server (found out he's a native Malaysian) what are the most popular and recommended dish to order. He was kind enough giving us handful of recommendations. After a few minutes, food was finally served. Food were delicious, different and unique. Amount of serving is at the right amount. For the price per order is fair. Its not expensive. We didn't wait too long for our orders to be served. We had a friendly server named Ka and he checked on us a few times. Ambiance: Spacious restaurant. Casual environment. Good amount of table and chairs for their customers. Washroom is clean. There are ample spaces for parking around the restaurant building. Overall, We are a satisfied customers. We enjoyed the evening and definitely going back to try different food on their menu.

Trevor N.

Yelp
The curry beef noodle soup is amazing!!! It's my favorite! We've tried different items over the years and it's all great but that soup is

Richard S.

Yelp
The Hainan chicken dish is very good because the meat is very tender. Usually the chicken breast can be dry, but the chicken breast from this place is exceptional.

Sam Q.

Yelp
Food was okay, however waitress was not friendly at all, did not check on us once and constantly walks away before customer finish any sentence. Asked me to pay at least 15% of gratuity, then waitress throw a "heh" when I refused and explained why I wouldn't. Unreal and wouldn't go back again. Highly do not recommend this place.

Dharamjit R.

Yelp
Went here a couple times already. The roti canai and the pineapple chicken rice are very good.

Hass H.

Yelp
Disgusting. When was the last time they change something inside? Nope I won't go there again.

Thomas B.

Yelp
This place has really good food at a reasonable price. We were waited in by a very helpful server who knew the menu well. Also they have a photo menu. I'll be sure to return when I'm in the area.

Jenny P.

Yelp
Food was good. Service was okay. I like the variety they have here. Some of the currys are the same. But at least the curry is good! Interesting how they don't ask you how hot you want your dish though. I enjoyed the curry beef noodle (curry broth dish) a lot! It was interesting that it was egg noodles instead of vermicelli but I'm not complaining. I didn't mind it at all. The broth reminded me of kapoon but beef instead of chicken. Had the Avocado bubble tea. Which was yummy but the tapioca was magically soft. If you like more of a chew then their tapioca is probably not for you. Recently ordered the Hainanese chicken after watching mark Weins visit Malaysia and ate that fish. It's pretty good! Simple but delicious. Super juicy. Even the breast part. I enjoy the pepper and the lemongrass sauce it comes with. Service was okay because we asked for the side of the Indian bread (forgot what it was called) because we were gonna get the chicken curry which was the same as what they give you with the appetizer but she said we couldn't do it. So we had to order the appetizer and the dish. Oh well. Would definitely come back to try more things!

Sunnie L.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food and our server was so sweet! Can't wait to come back. I got the Indian Mie Goreng and it was delicious. Their menu has so many other things I'd love to try soon

Joel W.

Yelp
The food is very authentic, the service is excellent! The ambiance may not be to the conventional customer's liking but I imagine it is true to the region where the food originated!

David M.

Yelp
We meet once every month for lunch with several of my former colleagues from General Motors. Using my Yelp-based powers, I try to select restaurants with a variety of cuisines that are highly rated and moderately priced. This time, Satay House caught my attention as another Yelper's Review of the Day. So it was our choice and four of us showed up. First of all, Satay House serves what I'll call regional dishes; Thai, Malaysian, Singaporean, but also Indian and other influences. While I normally like to have more focus (going to a Thai place for Thai food, an Indian place for Indian food, etc), at Satay House this regional cuisine approach works. We arrived Saturday at 11:30 am and it was not busy yet; it was when we left. We were quickly seated and served tea that was hot and flavorful; great for a cold and snowy day. Since there were so many pictures of it on Yelp, we had to order the Roti Canai Indian Appetizer, and our friends ordered the Malaysian Poh Piah steamed egg rolls. They were both excellent and well worth reordering in the future. For our main dishes, I selected Chicken Redang with Rice, a slow-cooked Curry Chicken in Coconut Milk; I really enjoyed this dish with chunks of tender chicken in a curry sauce. And I used the remaining sauce from the Roti Canai to finish my entree rice (a pro tip). My wife chose Hainanese Chicken with Rice. She said it was as good as she had imagined and the pieces that were on the bones were especially flavorful. The Hainanese Rice added subtle flavor and she is a big fan of the Grated Ginger Sauce that came with this dish. Our friends ordered a Curry Beef Noodle Soup (the name pretty well describes it) and Malaysian Fried Noodles that seemed to contain almost everything including pork, shrimp, egg, squid, bean sprouts...you get the picture. They thoroughly enjoyed their choices and we will definitely all be back! But wait! There's more...we actually had room for dessert! Well, we would have ordered the Coconut Pudding even if we were too full! I mean, how could you not order Coconut Pudding served in a real Coconut? In fact, we ordered two...that's how good and unique it was. In all the excitement, I forgot to take a before picture, but there are plenty of them already posted so just look at them. When I thought we were done, one of my friends said no, keep digging until I hit brown! So it's Coconut Pudding inside a Coconut Shell with a layer of additional Coconut Pudding around the inside that looked like a perfectly-smooth porcelain. Mmmmm!!

R T.

Yelp
So nice to have a Malaysian restaurant in Michigan. We had roti telor, nasi lemak, beef rendang, kangkung (ask for vegetarian option if needed), tofu satay, and spicy fried tofu. The food was delicious, the service was great, and plenty of vegetarian options. Highly recommended.

Brittany H.

Yelp
Ahhh my mouth is watering just thinking about the Indian Mee Goreng. So delicious, add two limes and your dish is bursting with flavor! Also on a plus side, the servers speak very good English which helps me out a lot while ordering! I also ordered the infamous roti canali, which was yummy. I just wish the curry sauce was a little bit thicker so the sauce didn't drip everywhere. But hey, what're you gonna do? Still super tasty and I love the potato inside of it. Aside from the food, giving this four stars because service was meh. I had to ask three times for hot tea and nobody checked to see how the food/everything was.

Karim J.

Yelp
Southeast Asia has some of the best cuisines in the world. It's a melting pot for many cultures and nationalities who share their culinary traditions with everyone to create new and exciting dishes. Satay House is a restaurant owned by a Malaysian Chinese family, and it's as authentic as it gets in terms of that style of food. My in laws are from Indonesia, so I've become more familiar with dishes like Beef Rendang and Nasi Goreng. The food that we ordered was amazing all around, and the service is terrific. Everything is made to share so make sure you bring more than one person. Most definitely a top 10 restaurant for me in the state of Michigan.

Jayson O.

Yelp
Food is delicious! Fresh ingredients and a very large menu. Mee Goreng is the perfect texture and butter prawns have the most delicious sauce.

Samantha G.

Yelp
Thanks to re-reading Crazy Rich Asians, I was craving for Malaysian food during my visit. Surprisingly, Yelp led me to Satay House, which was conveniently located half a mile away from where I was staying. What are the chances of staying so close to a place that has Mayasian food on the menu?? Of course, I told my bf to meet me here during his lunch break so I can satisfy my food cravings. So what did we order? We started off with the roti canai, which is an Indian-inspired flatbread served with a side of curry dipping sauce. The flatbread to me was a cross of the textures of naan with sections of it having the flakiness of a croissant, which was amazing to savor especially when dipped in the curry. If I had it my way, I would have had my own to indulge in all to myself. Next came out a half order of Hainanese chicken. The rice itself was addicting, which was flavored with chicken broth. The chicken was tasty and came with two dipping sauces, sweet chili and what I thought was finely minced ginger and garlic. The half order was a bit generous for the two of us. Along with the chicken came the curry beef stewed noodle soup. I was surprised with how generous the soup was with the beef and noodles, which is a bit hard to tell with the broth covering it all. I enjoyed the flavors of the dish, as well as the chewiness of the noodles. This is definitely a soup that can be shared with 2-3 people. The service is polite and does run on the slower side so this may not be ideal if you are on a time crunch during lunch. Other than that, the food is worth the patience.

Patrick S.

Yelp
Amazing food, got the calamari, Roti Cenai, and the Satay Chicken. Everything was tasty with a mango smoothie!

Wendy M.

Yelp
The service was good but the food I had made me ill. (Chicken in a bean sauce and chicken fried rice)

Wammy W.

Yelp
We ordered a variety here. Taste is not bad but extremely oily and quite salty. It's probably the cuisine. Tastes good. But we didn't feel very healthy after wards.

Joanna F.

Yelp
Passing through and saw this place with great reviews. We ordered char kway teao, roti canai, Hainanese chicken and curry beef noodle soup. They were all great and tasted like home. Reasonably priced too. Friendly and quick service. Definitely recommended and will stop by again next time we are in the area.

Marie K.

Yelp
First time here- found the dish I order from now on! Indian Mee Goreng. A little sweet a tiny bit spicy! So good!

Cady Ann C.

Yelp
This restaurant will never fail you if you are looking for authentic Malaysian food! The only photo I'm able to take is the roti canai and the rest I have finished voraciously. I have ordered roti canai and satay for appetizers. For ala carte, I ordered chai keuw tiao and prawn noodle. For drink, I ordered Malaysia style coffee. The whole meal is around 56 with tips for two pax. Great staff and services. Will definitely come back frequently.

Shivansh S.

Yelp
I was quite happy with the food and the service but then I noticed that they charged me a $5 tip without even asking me. I'm a person who always leaves a tip regardless of the food and service varying between 10 to 20 percent but what they are doing there is unethical. When 2 people spend 35 bucks at a restaurant and you force a tip it's totally upsetting. This is like cheating people, because mostly people do not look at the bill. And when I pointed it out they say that people usually tip so you don't have to tip extra, it's 15% and we are not charging 20%. And they mentioned that people tip a dollar. But the point is the tip is up to the person why should someone be forced to tip? Don't know how to add a picture to this post but will put it separately.

Song G.

Yelp
Ordered Pad Thai and Hainanese chicken rice to go. The service was quick and the food was awesome and affordable. Definitely recommend for a quick lunch.

Anna H.

Yelp
AMAZING spot for vegan/vegetarian food!!! You can ask them to make something for you (owners are vegetarian!) off menu. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the world, so authentic and fresh. My favorites (possibly off menu) are the fried tofu, fried mushrooms, curries, roti canai (the dipping sauce...amazing. I literally asked for just a bowl of that because it's so good.), the chopped beans with tofu and peanuts, any noodles, so much more. My bf and dad who aren't vegan loved their non-vegan/vegetarian dishes too so it's a great place to go where everyone will have something to eat!

Pratik D.

Yelp
This is one of go to place when I come to Sterling. Definitely try the indian me gorang and chicken radang.

Mayumi S.

Yelp
I used to come often but many noodle house around now we have more choice. I ordered curry beef noodle I used to love them but I taste it I think if i come again I will order others.soup isn't warm & no steam at all . Price is little high than other food.also I don't feel any exotic taste... so sad . Just little feel coconut...

Mel N.

Yelp
2.5 stars, maybe a 3. Don't know what the hype is about. Yes the food is cheap, but is it anything to write home about? Massive menu with something to satisfy everybody. I thought Roti was part of Indian cuisine? It was good though. I got the Roast pork with wonton lo mein ($7) under the 'noodle soup' section. When I read 'noodle soup' I understand to be noodles in soup. Nope it was lo mein with a BUNCH of soy sauce. It was too much soy sauce, but luckily it didn't overpower the dish / make it too salty. The roast pork was just ok. The wonton was just on the side in a bowl of soup. Very meh. Like I said I imagined the this dish to be noodles in the soup and the wontons to be in the soup with the noodles. Not on the side separately. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. My friend got one of the 'fried noodle' dishes and she said it was average too, although it looked good from my vantage point. Don't order what I ordered. The fried noodle dishes looked good though.

Mercedes V.

Yelp
There's a selection of Thai and Indian dish that i'm familiar of. Price was reasonable. A bowl of soup or rice bowl serves two people. For appetizer, we had Roti Canai $3.50 The Indian Pancake tasted good while its hot. I prefer plain, while the husband dipped the pancake in the curry sauce...yum! Ordered Penang Prawn Mee $7 I liked the hot brooth, but needs to have more salt or pepper for me. Finished eating the sliced egg, fish or squid balls. Reminder to people who are sensitive to seafood, awhile after eating at this restaurant, my husband and i experienced itchiness. Ask for the ingredients of the brooth if needed. Husband ordered the Thai Yellow Curry with Rice $8.50 It filled our stomach but not our palate. We tasted more ginger or lemongrass but not the coconut milk. The dish was thickened by okra. Restaurant looks clean, but they definitely could improve the interior by changing the blinds. There's a huge restroom for both sexes. It's a bit noisy inside because of the flat screen tv on, and the rest of the diners talk at the same time. No booth table to block the sound or enjoy a little privacy. Service was good. Lady server was friendly. Bring cash. They accept credit card payment if your food bill is $10 and above. Parking is convenient. I may comeback to try the wonton soup.

Yelp
All of the food was amazing. The flavors are fresh with good flavor. We got: Tom Yum Soup w/Seafood - Best I have ever had in America. Not as spicy as you would get in Asia. If you like spice ask for extra. Pineapple Fried Rice - Sweet, but not too sweet Peanut Pancakes - It's just your basic tortilla and peanut butter, but I love peanut butter and we finished these very quickly #28 Roast BBQ Pork with Wonton Soup - This was my husband's favorite dish. I really liked the meat, but the sauce that gets served with it was a little too salty for me. I am not a fan of Wonton Soup in general and their's was no different. Java Me- My favorite dish! Chinese Water Crest - I had never had Chinese water crest before and i won't be ordering it again. It is stringy and challenging to eat plus it had a weird flavor that I couldn't exactly pinpoint and did not enjoy. Coconut Pudding - Not my thing the consistency was closer to jello than pudding. I think i would like it better had I ordered something to mix into it.
