Sauce Pizzeria - Lower East Side - Review - New York - The Infatuation
"Order a pie from Sauce in Harold Square or the LES and you’ll be able to donate a second pizza to a local hospital. Once you do that, Sauce will match that pizza and deliver another to that same hospital. Also - their East Village location is only open for frozen pizzas, in case you want to stock your fridge.
We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation
To be honest, it used to be good. But they changed something about the pizza. Made a thin pizza even thinner - maybe to cut costs? The weird thing is it's thin, but not actually crispy. Kind of rubbery. Really lacks flavor. Why'd you guys change the pizza!? It was one of the best slices in the city just a year ago!

Used to be some of the best pizza in the city, changed the recipe entirely and it’s no longer even worth going after a 3am night out. Super disappointing.

Got the square pepperoni, it was decent pizza no complaints but $8? Are you kidding me?

Sauce doesn’t like bros. Bros don’t have to spend money here.
