From Napolitan Spaghetti to Tarako, Japan’s Best Pasta Dishes | Eater

"A Jinbocho institution for classic, neon-red napolitan spaghetti served in impressively large portions, often accompanied by sautéed mushrooms, green peppers, onions, and Japanese-style wieners or bacon. Lunch sets (spaghetti plus small salad and coffee) are budget-friendly, and the shop’s generous servings are famously filling—pair the meal with a dreamy melon cream soda (chartreuse soda topped with vanilla ice cream) for a nostalgic, diner-style experience after browsing nearby used bookstores." - Nina Li Coomes

Yoshoku lunch classics with an emphasis on spaghetti dishes. Naporitan is the most famous and it is sweet and saucy. I really liked it. Regular size is huge, large size is basically a mountain of pasta.

Cute little cafe that serves the napolitan (Japanese ketchup spaghetti). Reasonable pricing and the interior design is cute, lunch hour had a line but moved quickly. Highly recommended! One of the better takes on this ketchup spaghetti in Tokyo in my opinion.

When I visited Sabouru on a Sunday lunch time there was a still a queue to get a seat. But the wait was short and since my order was taken while still outside the wait time for my food inside was also a short one. I had the ebi pilaf (with soup) and a Strawberry juice. The pilaf was tasty and a generously sized portion. The Strawberry juice was delicious and had a lovely creamy after taste that left me wanting more!

Just updating the price changes. Local friend invited me to try their napolitain pasta with extra large portion. Was delicious in a retro ambiance!

I was craving Napolitan in Jimbocho and this was the first place that came up. Little did I know that this is actually a really popular place. The facade, decor, and interior are really cute. The staff is really kind and helpful. The Napolitan? Delicious. I kinda regretted ordering the big size because it was much bigger than I expected, but I finished it anyway. I recommend to just order the normal size unless you are VERY hungry.

A restaurant famous for home-style Neapolitan spaghetti. Neapolitan spaghetti is spaghetti made with mushrooms and other ingredients in a ketchup base. The strength is that you can enjoy a huge amount of spaghetti and a simple salad at a low price of 900 yen. So the wait at lunchtime is long. The price is very cheap and the quantity is large, so the price range is good, so the satisfaction is high, but the food itself is not very good. A place worth stopping by for lunch at least once if you are staying in Tokyo for a long time. The restaurant is also an old Japanese light wooden style, so mood is good.

I had found this place in a book and I immediately knew it was a must to visit. Well, I wasn’t wrong. The food was great (enormous even in the regular size) and for less than 1000 yen. It took me 10-15 minutes to get in (the place isn’t very big) but the line moves fast. There’s a Savour 1 next door but that’s only a cafe. Savour 2 is the food place.

Cozy place with many locals queueing even during weekdays. Portion of food served is way more for a person's serving. Loved the interior and vibe of the place 😊
