Very chill and welcoming barista getting us a free military latte (definitely worth the price), insta worthy. Matcha taste not too overwhelming, light and balanced. Small bright cafe in the front, darker vibe in the back.

An amazing coffee shop (and entrance to sushi restaurant). The baristas are absolutely amazing (including their latte art). This is definitely going to be a regular stop for my coffee cravings.

Nice place with great service! Good spot to sit and have a drink. Came here in the morning on a Sunday so it was quiet and peaceful.. The matcha latte was great and barista on duty, Zane was really friendly too. Unfortunately, they do not take cash payment so tourists beware if you only want to pay by cash. Love the place, but wish they took cash.

Great lattes and aesthetically pleasing decor. However, I had to take off stars for a poor customer experience. I took a picture of my drink and one of the baristas openly made fun of me for it by making rude comments to his co-workers. His actions resulted in a negative atmosphere, one that can be detrimental for such a new business. I would only recommend this place for to-go orders, as a result.

Visited this store late in the afternoon yesterday, after having rushed to Chicago to try to get there before they closed. The guy at the shop was incredibly kind, and the latte was delightful. I've something of an obsession with matcha, and so I expected it to taste somewhat like most other matcha lattes I've had. It exceeded my expectations. I'm not sure where they get their matcha, but it was much smoother than what I'm used to, and the latte art was a lovely touch. I'm sorry to say I don't remember the name of the person who was working, but I'm grateful to him. I will definitely be back to try more from the menu on my next trip.

I've tried many matcha cafes in the city and Sawada Matcha thus far, the best! My iced matcha latte so refreshing and delicious. I'll be back in the morning to try the Black Camo Latte!

Almost like a hole in the wall, this place is cozy, in summer and winter. Perfect spot to meet up with your girlfriends for a short chat. Very good espresso drinks. I wish they had more pastries/cookies.

Original location is way better, I guess I had high expectations when I heard this new one was opening up. The vibe is totally different, again, conflicting with my expectations. Still good coffee though, but if you liked the first come open minded.
