Houston hub for artists and creative minds! An amazing FREE art exhibition featuring all types of art with the artists studios being in there too! You can meet and talk to the artists directly, and purchase their pieces. Huge place to walk through, great to visit with friends or a date. I had the pleasure to do a paper mache activity with artist Yvette Grutter where I made a cat! Art classes are also offered by various artists. Can’t wait to come back.

Such a surprise! Wonderful hanging art and so much space. No one was there between Christmas and New Year's. Really enjoyed it.

My friend had a birthday dinner at KISS restaurant in a private room. The food is awesome, I had the lambchops. The salmon was also good. Very nice atmosphere, nice music and vibe. They have a lady performing in the hanging drapes.

The red wire sculpture and other installations invite you to pause and reflect, while the wall art gives you a glimpse into the voice of local talent. It’s a nice place for a drink or brunch. The prices are way higher than any other brunch place around this place. The wings were the best. Shrimp tacos were mid. The view of downtown is very nice especially during sunny days. The ladies bring out the food can be a hit or miss, one was very nice while the other one was rude. Restrooms are clean. Plenty of parking. They have 3 floors.

Always a fun place to explore. I love that they always have events to invite people and explore art.

We LOVE Sawyer Yards - one of the coolest places in Houston. Check it out on the second Saturday of each month when they open up all the studios to the public. Love taking my teen kids here and walking around to check out art, talk to artists, get inspired and just have a great family day. Lots of artists also offer cool classes or workshops too. Good food all around too. Free parking in all lots we have used.

There used to be 10 yards here, but they reduced it by one recently. So now I'm going to review the whole nine yards. This is a spectacular series of large converted warehouses where they have gorgeous event spaces, and a fancy restaurant or two, and they also did an Amnesty International show here that I was part of. It's absolutely lovely over here, and I can see why people pay a lot of money to have their events here.

This area of town is a unique collection of converted warehouses that are now art spaces, restaurants, shops, entertainment, etc. This is a great place to check out if you are looking for a rotating selection of art showcases of various types and special events (ex: the VR space station experience, candlelight concert series, etc). The minimalist setting lets whatever is on display inside really shine, and the whole old warehouse thing feels very hip. All in all, a cool part of town!
