The Best Restaurants & Bars In Rockaway Beach & Jacob Riis Park - New York - The Infatuation

"Sayra’s is a nice little wine bar that also serves some great small plates. It’s two blocks from the beach, so wipe as much sand off your body as possible, grab a glass of wine or sangria and a jalapeño grilled cheese, and and sit out back on their shaded patio for a sunkissed date night. If you finished that whole bottle and need something a bit more substantial, head to Uma’s a few doors down for some baseball-sized manti." - willa moore, molly fitzpatrick, neha talreja

Sayra’s Wine Bar Review - Rockaway Beach - New York - The Infatuation

"Sayra’s is a nice little wine bar in the Rockaways with a whole lot going for it. It has weekday Happy Hour from 4-8pm, live music (check their Instagram), and on the weekends, they’re open until 4am. Plus, this spot also serves some great small plates. It’s two blocks from the beach, so after a tanning day, wipe as much sand off your body as possible, and head to their shaded patio for a sunkissed date night. Get a glass of wine or sangria and a jalapeño grilled cheese. If you end up finishing a whole bottle and need something a bit more substantial, head to Uma’s, a few doors down, for some baseball-sized manti." - Willa Moore

The Best Restaurants at Rockway Beach | Eater NY

"Sayra’s Wine Bar is a lovely place for drinks and snacks, whether inside or out on the patio. The menu revolves around small plates and snacks, like spicy meatballs crostini and warm pretzels with mustard. Not to mention, there’s an extensive wine list, with bottles that usually don’t go above $40." - Eater Staff

First of all I feel like I didn't know my community. Sayra's has been a staple in the community for over 10 years. This wonderful tapas bar is heavenly! There's shaded outdoor seating too. We ordered quite an array of food off the menu and everything was delicious! Don't take my word for it, try it yourself. Tell them Lala sent you.

I love this spot! Low key, chill, romantic, and relaxing music. We come here often after a friend recommended it, and it’s truly amazing. The wine is good and the tapas of bread 🥖 and sides is delicious. I love them for being consistent and having excellent service. They also have a selection of canned beer at great prices and a happy hour if that’s your thing. It’s an intimate space and that’s what makes it special every time. Highlights are the baguette with balsamic and olive oil, and the sangria was excellent!

We live in the neighborhood and love bringing people here. The garden is a cool oasis on a beach day. The food is delicious - tapas style, perfect for ordering a bunch to share. The staff is friendly and never rush you. A real hidden gem in Rockaway!

I love this place in the summer so much, it’s the perfect place to grab a bite with a friend drink some wine and talk. Bring a group of friends even. The food is delicious, The drink selections are great. The inside is also amazing so actually anytime of the year would be a good time to visit. Can’t wait to be back, one of rockaways Best.

This place was very cozy and different. The hostess was very nice and the service was very good. Honestly the selection of food wasn't that large, but everything we ordered was exceptionally good! Unfortunately they were out of the Turkey meatballs, but word on the street is that they are excellent! My son ordered the grill cheese, which was really good and even good visually. Everything was very classy and well done. I included pictures of the front of the restaurant, because if you're not careful, you might pass right by it. The prices weren't high, but they weren't low either, so they were what you would expect for a quality meal. I definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be going back, very soon.

Love this spot. Small, neighborhood place. Simultaneously quiet and rowdy. Generally great music, sometimes a live jazz band. Inclusive, diverse clientele and staff. Tasty bites, good drinks. What's not to like?!

Google
This cozy little establishment has a cool rustic decor with a greatbwine and beer selection. Love the Allagash White on tap and also love their sangria....🍷 The light fare menu is tasty. I usually get the turkey burgers, meatballs, or the fantastic cheese plate. The back yard garden area is very tranquil and relaxing. It is a quiet little didden gem in the Rockaway community. Nice for a relaxing evening and the owner is fantastic and proud member of the community....❤

This place is a VIBE! I came here for a friend’s bday and we had the best time ever! The wine was flowing, delicious meals were served, and great conversations were had. I can’t wait to come back when it gets warmer so I can dine in their beautiful backyard space.

Yelp
I'm late with this review but was here last month for my birthday . Local wine bar that is small but has a quaint backyard . Met the owner who is lovely . Once a month there is a supper club event . The event I when to was chicken and champagne night . The fried chicken was excellent ! Came with sides of collards And another side . The corn bread was amazing ! The champagne flowed for the next 2 hours unlimited ! The event was pricey but I understand the supper club vide is different each month . This mouth I missed as I was out of town, but I hear it was a Haitian vibe . Street parking available . Added bonus there's some kind of eclectic band playing generally . All around good vibes . It's the Rockaways so this is a great local spot or if you're willing to travel it's a great vibe . The Bar area is small .

Yelp
Exactly what I'd expect for a wine bar by the beach. Very relaxed atmosphere. Cozy backyard with a courtyard feel. Maybe about twenty seats inside with plenty more outside. There is a projector screen and a small stage out back too. (I think there may have been a projector inside as well). Around ten wines by the glass. All priced around $10 with most of the bottles coming in around $40. There are two taps on draft: Allagash Witte and Kona Big Wave Blonde. Both priced at around $8. Bartender was quick. Definitely a nice midday or post beach day stop.

Yelp
Great place and such a hidden gem. The outdoor area is wonderful! We will be back for sure

Yelp
My friend and I loved our little pitstop at Sayra's which is off the beaten path of the boardwalk and amidst other food options on Beach 92. We took a peek on our way to the beach but they were closed. They open at 2 p.m. and we returned a few hours later. Although they're called Sayra's Wine Bar, their awning said Bier Garden. And what a sweet garden it was. On our way back from the beach and before dinner, my friend and I wanted to take advantage of their happy hour specials which runs until 7 p.m. They had beer, wine and cocktail specials but we craved an ice cold Bud Light (canned) for only $3.00. The waitress was very hospitable and left the menu with us in case we wanted some food. It was limited but included some nibbles such as cheese boards, hot dogs and grilled cheese. We passed on ordering food but I would try next time since some items looked quite good. In summary, we both thought Sayra's was an adorable find with a quaint indoor and patio atmosphere. I would definitely recommend and return again! .

Yelp
I love hanging in the back yard with a cool drink. They also have regular events that are fun to attend.

Yelp
This is a good wine date spot. You can get a cheese plate or a grill cheese I would recommend it. I like trying out their wine. Not many people come here so it is a good lowkey spot. Everyone are always nice and friendly

Yelp
My husband and 1 year old stumbled upon this place by pure chance and boy were we pleasantly surprised. It was a Saturday at 5pm. We had come to Rockaway to stroll on the beach on a windy but sunny day. When we walked in, it was small but it smelled good. Some places smell like bar more than food. This place smelled like food, good food! We went to the beer garden in the back and it was so quaint with its pebbled floor, wooden picnic tables, and sculptures. We ordered the pretzel, meatballs, and burrata. It was so good, it reminded us of our single days when we used to travel to Europe or just to wonderful little places in the city. We were truly happy. This is a gem of a place. The staff is so nice too and accommodating with a toddler. We really needed this. We will definitely come back and taste everything else they have on the menu.

Yelp
Black owned. This place is so cute and calm. The waitress was playing really good music. The bottle of wine for the table was red and it was really good but I can't remember what kind. I didn't have any food but the food is made right by the bar. It smelled really good. Can't wait to come back and actually sit in the back when it's not allergy season.

Yelp
Visited Sayra's Wine Bar on a Monday afternoon. It was empty which was perfect because my friends and I sat there and talked for ours. It's a nice cheap place to gather and have drinks. Mush enjoy their outdoor patio before the winter comes.

Yelp
Had sort of a weird time at this place. We walked in through the front to sit in the back yard. My friends and I had been at the beach all day (yes, we had some nutcrackers) and walked here to have some dinner. The host/owner was a little gruff when she asked us how many, but I shrugged it off and we sat in the back. It is cute back there with picnic tables and some plants, but has more of a BBQ than upscale vibe. That was fine because we were sandy anyway and couldn't do some white table cloth place. My friend ordered a drink and was told she could not be served. Well she wasn't told, the server (who I think is the manager or owner) told me she couldn't serve my friend. We were all surprised because my friend had consumed less than all of us, but she was fine with it and the other two of us got some wine. For being billed as a wine bar, they really don't have a ton of wine selection. You can get a cheese plate and a carafe of wine for $40, which is fine, but it wasn't anything that special. I could make the same thing myself from Trader Joe's. The service was ok, if awkward, probably because they realized they cut the wrong person off. They forgot to bring one of the things we ordered. The manager seemed to be snappy and bossing around staff in front of customers which was sort of awkward. I know I keep saying "awkward" but that's really the word that comes to mind here. It seems like a nice neighborhood spot to chill but it's nothing special and the vibe can be off if you catch it at a certain time I guess.

Yelp
Our first night in Rockaway we found this little bar with an amazing patio. The wine and olives are the perfect combination for the environment! The service is outstanding! She was helpful and recommended a lot of places to check out around the area. The food is good and you will be amaze because the size of the kitchen make so much good flavors! The key is to drink some Wine, order some cheese and get the famous limon cake that will be welcoming you with an incredible smell as soon as you walking to the bar!

Yelp
Rashida runs a beautiful space and from the moment I walked in she made me feel at home. She is a very warm person. She is also empathetic from what I can tell, which I really appreciated, because that quality is often missing in the hospitality industry. The mulled wine was delicious! There are great happy hour specials too. I had a grilled cheese with cheddar and jalapeños which was simply delightful :) The locals sitting at the bar were also very kind; Ray in particular struck up a conversation with me and that was really nice, as I am a shy person and don't open up easily. I will definitely be back! Thank you for the lovely evening

Yelp
I was very excited to try this place out for their Jazz Brunch. I came here with a party of 6, we called ahead and despite it being 1:50pm on a Sunday they said they were just about to open and they say to come in. (Red flag- Instagram says they open at 11am). When we got there they told us to sit at one of the larger tables outside and when the waitress came she said there was no brunch today, because it was a busy weekend. It was Sunday and we were the only people there. We did the bottomless mimosas so that was great and the waitress was really good about refills, the service was great. After we left my husband pointed out that they did not have a kitchen and were making all the food at the bar. I thought this was distributing. Overall they aren't really a wine bar or a brunch spot, the service was nice but I wouldn't recommend for a meal, maybe just a drink.

Yelp
Lori N. took me to Sayra's after an afternoon at the beach. I love the backyard space. There's tons of space, and it's pleasantly decorated, with gravel, picnic tables, and seaside trinkets. Service was a bit spotty despite the fact that it wasn't very full on a Sunday afternoon. Also, the $2 chips were very, very, very close to being BBQ Lays. In fact, we're 99% sure they were Lays. (I'd love to be convinced otherwise.) Wine selection was tight and tasty. This new wine bar could be a cool hub of the neighborhood, as they have movies and maybe could host wine tastings or other events. I'll be excited to come back in a few weeks or so.

Yelp
Love this place will always love it and the outside is just super lit!!! Theres full control of your music. Menu needs more food but everything is perfect for a first time date or a wind down.

Fortune K.

Yelp
Just happen to be in the area, went to the wine store up the block, recommended I stop thru, so I did. Outstanding staff very welcoming, very ambient atmosphere for groups or self, quality peps!!. price is reasonable, did not try the food but would come back.
google avatar

Yelp
I really like the outdoor garden space at this wine bar, so it was very disappointing to discover that they allow customers to smoke. Despite the fact that there's signs in the back saying "No Smoking", multiple tables have ash trays and while we were there, at least three different tables included smoking customers. These tables are interspersed throughout the tables without ashtrays, so there's literally no where to sit away from the smoke. They definitely are not following any of the clean air/smoking guidelines for NYC, and it's upsetting that they don't care enough to make the space safe for all customers.

Yelp
This place is great, and I have had nothing but good experiences here the several times that my Wife and I have visited. Our bartender was the same woman each of the three times we were in. She was consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive. Drinks were excellent, food was very tasty, and everything was served in reasonable time. Two of the times we have been in were quiet and we sat at the bar. The third of our visits was significantly more busy; we sat at a table with another couple and the service/quality was consistent. Personally, I like this place a lot. I do, however, understand some of the complaints. For those who are particular, a few things to be aware of: This place is very small. Like, hole-in-the-wall small. There is a very cute patio out back, but even that is limited and weather-permitting. If you come in any group larger than 2 at a busy time, there is a very good chance there will be no room for you. Also, the "kitchen" is a tiny little station on the end of the bar with a little cooler, cutting board, a frying pan atop a single gas burner, and a crock pot. It is kind-of adorable, but by no means efficient and practical. At peak times, it is easily overwhelmed and brings wait times up. Furthermore, the portions are small, and the food is not cheap. They don't really serve meals or snacks as much as they serve "bites." And I'm not exaggerating here, these portions are very small. If you are starving and you want to get full, be prepared to order the whole menu twice over. All that said, the food has been consistently very flavorful, the drinks have been spot on, and I have not experienced the service issues that others on here have reported. I enjoy a tiny little intimate place with dim-light and comfy decor. That's exactly what you get here and I don't get the impression that they are interested in anything else. What this place does, they do very well and they will continue to have my patronage. If this is the kind of spot you're looking for, I can't give any other place in the Rockaways a better recommendation.

Yelp
Great service, great atmosphere and great food and drink. Lovely place to relax at the end of a beach day, even better at the end of a work day. The sangria is awesome and a beet salad shouldn't be as delicious as Sayra's is. My new local go to place for relaxation and eats.
google avatar

Maggie P.

Yelp
I wish I could leave zero stars. The service here was deplorable. The restaurant is dusty and dirty. The entire waitstaff appeared lost, confused, and i watched them all just stand around while food piled up. My sangria sat on the bar for 25 mins, i had asked for that 2x before it finally was brought over to me with all the ice melted. I also waited two hours for my food, which never arrived, so i eventually just left cash for my drinks and walked out. The tipping point for me was the waitresses screaming and cursing at each other across the restaurant. Not sure how this place is in business.

Yelp
Hidden gem in the Rockaways. Came here for happy hour and I love it. Great drinks and small but delicious selection of food. The outdoor space is amazing!

Yelp
Love their food drinks. Always chilled and friendly atmosphere. Great local spot!!!!!!

Yelp
Sayra's is a nice escape from the summer heat. They have a great backyard garden with shade. Although they were out of draft beers completely at the time we popped in, the shade and friendly service was much appreciated.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been sitting here for an hour and a half with no food. I'm sitting here while I write this. 12 minutes ago I was told a manager would come over. Will I finish this review before they do? Probably. Definitely. Yep. I did. 13 minutes. Still no manager. Fuck this place.

Yelp
A beautiful little wine bar with a lovely secret garden. We enjoyed the happy hour wines and a few snacks on a recent trip to the Rockaways. The bartender was friendly and attentive. Great music and a casusl, friendly vibe.

Yelp
Had a wonderful late afternoon light lunch and glass of wine. Fun, shady backyard hangout with lots of green and art. Delicious apps and wine.

Yelp
Came from NYC for July 4th weekend. I love the atmosphere in here. It's great to see places like this popping up. Great staff and great food. It's a smaller menu... But delicious. It poured most of the night, but they have a big outdoor area with a bar. I would recommend anyone that comes down to Rockaway Beach to stop by this place.

M O.

Yelp
An Oasis in Rockaway. Great Wine, Beer, Music, the garden outback is a beautiful break from the urban beach life. Rashida is the best host and the food is like comfort food for the soul. I always make new friends with the patrons that go.

Courtney K.

Yelp
Love this place, I'll be back soon! The vibe is very WELCOMING and people of all backgrounds enjoy the space. I've always had great interactions with the owners and staff, the food & drinks are delicious. The backyard is so romantic and relaxing, I love it.

Yelp
If I knew that this was such a great spot , I would've been here every day of the summer. I've had it bookmarked for the past couple of months and I finally decided to try it out with a friend of mine about 2 weeks ago. It's in a great neighborhood near the beach along a strip of a couple trendy restaurants/wine bars. The first time we had such a kind and great waiter but I can't remember her name. The second time Rasheeda who's super awesome took great care of us. She's make an amazing cornbread! The spicy meatballs, chicken soup, turkey burgers, homemade chips and pesto constinti are all mouthwatering. Seriously. Of course they have a great variety of wine and mixed drinks.

Aud G.

Yelp
I enjoyed this little place so much--nice rustic design. My b/f and I had a great date night. Food was delicious and the hostess, (Kadisha), was very pleasant to speak to. My only suggestion is that management/owner should probably consider having two people working there during the later evening hours. The Rockaway Beach area is not busy until summer and once all the other businesses close for the day, the area can be quite solitary. Having one girl working alone, vulnerable to any dangerous situation especially at night, is not that safe. Other than that, the establishment, service and food was great. I look forward to to going again, especially during the summer! Cheers!

Lorraine C.

Yelp
If I could put 0 stars I would. This was by far the worst service I have ever experienced. I take that back, you can't rate service that doesn't exist. Went there for a Saturday afternoon with a few friends, we sat in the garden and ordered a bottle of white wine. We continued to sit there for 30 minutes with no wine and no waitress. As we got up to leave the waitress didn't even apologize for completely forgetting about her only garden costumers. She was just standing at the bar chatting away. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO THERE.

Yelp
super into this spot. small plates, large backyard, fun bartenders, ample bar space, great soundtrack.. what isnt to love? fyi - beer and wine only but takes credit cards, so its all good. dont sleep on the kale cesar salad because its secretly rad.

Yelp
Love this place!! Great vibes and Great Wine! The whole staff is great you'll definitely enjoy your night here! They evenhave food if you get hungry and the kitchen is open late so that's always a plus! Definitely recommend this place to anyone who just wants to have a chill night!!

Yelp
Great food, great space, terrible service. Third stop on a bar crawl after a beach day with my roommate. We ordered a carafe of sangria and a few different dishes to share. Sangria itself was watery was heck but the fruit (apples) inside were strong as all get go. Makes me think it's been sitting around for a few days? Oh well. Ordered cheese plate and meatballs (because they were apparently out of turkey sliders aka the reason we came). An hour goes by with no food, so we asked our waiter what was going on. Ordered pretzels (yum) which came out 10 minutes later but still no original food. Multiple times our waiter asked us if this or that had come out yet. An hour and a half goes by with neighbors being served but no for us. Finally a beautiful cheese plate comes out (with what ends up being two complimentary carafes of sangria). We remind him again about the meatballs, and they eventually came. Also delicious. A great trio of music started playing about an hour in. Definitely set the tapas bar-seque mood. A nice family of raccoons also entertained us outdoor guests with their appearances (totally serious, really cute). Wouldn't come back for the service, definitely would come back for the food/music/atmosphere.

Yelp
We came on Labor Day. I am not sure they wanted to be at work. Slow service and gave our drinks away. The female identified individual with the dreds before who served us was awesome. Taking a pizza break and giving away our libations is not okay and then coming out and doing a check of what we order was not cool when it would have been appropriate young lady with the two braids to come to our table and apologize. Other options beside bread should be offered for those of us who are gluten intolerant. Excellent wine and bill was paid. Happy Labor Day!
google avatar

Roxanna L.

Yelp
Food and wine were perfect. I had the portabella mushroom sandwich with a glass of merlot. The waitress was friendly. I took away one star because our whole table kept getting their food and drinks before one person on our table. Which it might of just been a coincidence but it was definitely awkward. Nonetheless I would recommend this place.

Chris A.

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere both inside and in the backyard. Great, friendly service and their frozé was delicious!
google avatar

Galit T.

Yelp
Great spot, love the backyard space. The decor is really cute and makes you feel as if you are somewhere on vacation which is a stark contrast with the front door! From the street it doesn't look that impressive but take a chance, there is a great place inside. The only complaint I have is that the portions and food menu are too small. Perfect if you want a snack but not if you are hungry. Everything was delicious, great flavors and tons of wine and beer choices! I will be back to partake in the film screenings / live music but not for dinner!
google avatar

Lori N.

Yelp
It's so wonderful to have a wine bar in the Rockaways, especially when the selection at local liquor stores is lacking! The Lambrusco was a delightful summery treat. Loved the driftwood-like decor and although it was raining when we went, the garden space looked inviting. Looking forward to additions to the menu... we recommended adding Nunu chocolates for a sweet spot! Will you please host a wine tasting with options to buy bottles to take home?
google avatar

Giselle P.

Yelp
Such an awesome spot!!! It's very low key and has a mellow setting. It's a small place but very intimate. Has a wide variety of wines and also some beers. Also has an interesting menu! I recommend the pesto bread and olives. If you're in the neighborhood and looking for something nice to unwind with some wine, definitely go here.
google avatar

Peter S.

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere & great service! I felt like I was on vacation... but still in Queens! Great vibe & nice, fun outdoor setting for drinks (plus, indoor section too... but even on a very hot day the outside section was pleasant!) The staff was also really helpful! Pretty close to the beach, so definitely a "must" when you're at Rockaway Beach!

Yelp
I love Rockaway so I really wanted to love this place, especially because I'd heard good things about the food, and because their outdoor patio is so cute. However, the service is on a near-otherworldly plane of ineptitude. Starving after a surf sesh, we stopped in for lunch at 1 pm. We saw (in person and on the menu) that the kitchen was small, and it was one person handling service and food prep, so we were prepared to wait however long it would take for our food. However. 1. Our server brought out a notepad but did not write down what we ordered: sliders, pulled pork sandwiches, a cheese plate, kale salad, chips (pretty deceptively called patatas fritas but we found this amusing and it was fine). We received our drinks and chips within the standard 10 minutes or so. 2. Half an hour later, we asked for our order to go, because we thought we could save time/be more efficient if we ate on the run, since we did have late afternoon/evening plans. 3. More than an hour later, it was past 2 pm and we hadn't seen any of our food (besides a fistful of chips in a tiny dish that's made for sauce or olives). We went up to the counter to pay and ask for our food as quickly as possible. The server rang us up, we left a tip and everything, and proceeded to wait AGAIN. At this point, I asked the server if any portion of our order was ready (I was hoping maybe the cheese?! Because really, that's just slicing up some cheese and putting it on a wooden board/throwing it in a to-go box???) He nodded and stammered, "Um, yeah, the pretzel." I looked at him, and said "We didn't order the pretzel." Server: "Um, yeah, hold on." Me: "So how long will it take to get our food?" Server: "Like 5 or 10 minutes?" Me: "Did you... start on any of it?" Server: "Um yeah, hold on, wait no, I'm gonna do it now." Me: "So you didn't start on our order at all? We didn't order the pretzel so basically none of our food has been prepped whatsoever, right? So then can we just cancel our order entirely? You can refund the whole bill on the card and we'll pay you cash for what we did have." 4. This, unfortunately, led to another administrative fiasco where he had to make 10 phone calls to figure out how to cancel an order and refund a card. It took another 30 minutes. During this 30 minutes one of us went out and got us some pizza. Which we scarfed down in a few seconds in the car because we were obviously starving. It is really incredible to me that this person could be entrusted with any job that requires even a small amount of multi-tasking, much less a bar/restaurant/kitchen, no matter how small. If the food only requires 5-10 minutes to prepare (it was pretty clear he wasn't making anything from scratch, just heating and assembling pre-made foods), what in the world kept him so busy that he could not even start our order for over an hour? Would he have started it at all if we hadn't asked for it again, an hour after ordering? If he couldn't get the order right (the pretzel), why didn't he write down what we asked for, especially since he already had a pen and notepad in hand? IS THIS THE TWILIGHT ZONE?!?! I know it can be difficult to man a kitchen + service by yourself, but I have worked high-volume food service myself and this experience was so bad it was actually baffling. Really unfortunate on such a nice part of Rockaway too. Whoever the owner of Sayra's is, please run the place yourself or hire staff that is minimally adequate!!! Pretty please.

Yelp
My favorite local spot to hit up. It provides an environment that can be intimitate or super social. When the weather gets warmer, Sunday movie nights are a blast. During the cold months, Sayrah's still gives you a place to feel at home, especially for locals. The Volver bottle from Spain is my favorite wine. The Rasputin stout is my favorite beer there. They also have 2 beers on tap. They could use more beers on tap but the can and bottle options are good enough. Enjoy your time there! I can't get over the chips. The turkey burger and the bbq pulled pork are my favorite options to grub on if i'm hungry. You'll enjoy your stay here.

Yelp
Love this place. The food is so delicious. We got the turkey burgers, which were so delicious. Such a nice, friendly bar. The beer garden out back is also great.

Yelp
Would give 0 stars if I could. They're completely out of food and the waitress just said "I don't know why everyone came here to eat today?" The hostess brought 3 glass of water for a table of five, then we asked for more and filled up 6 glasses..? 20 minutes to get drinks, 30 minutes for apps.

Yelp
New place, really nicely put together. The staff is really nice. Since the area is still recovering from Hurricane Sandy, give this place your support. They have decent beers on tap. Either craft or IPAs. Oh, and sometimes they have movie night in the backyard.
