I wasn't sure what to expect as I've heard of Scarlett but this was my first time visiting. Chef mayo has currently partnered with Scarlett and I was visiting to try the new menu. I must say, the new menu is delicious. I tried some beef Suya, jolluf rice, cassava /yam chips , plantains, grilled shrimp and a seafood Alfredo. Everything I tried was flavorful and delicious. The bartender was an absolute sweetie and I forgot to get her name. She asked what my drink profile was and I told her I liked sweet beverages. She suggested a Safari Sunrise Cocktail. It was amazing! I loved the ambiance and the decor inside this venue. The mirrors and the lights work well. The dj played some good music and I had a fun evening with my friends.

The service was great! I also loved the shrimp and the pizza though I was expecting something more. But it was okay. What we didn’t like was the pasta. I don’t know if it really taste like that but something about it’s aftertaste was off. Their cocktails were great! We ordered margarita and espresso martini.

The gaurds at the entry are asking for 100$ for entry even though we have tickets. We booked for 150$ for 7 ppl he is accusing us for no reason and said pay 100$ cash then will let u in. Isnt this total bribe?? Denied to give his badge no even. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT GO.

I would not recommend for food or beverage. Came here for birthday dinner and needed to do separate bills due to a large group (18 people). Disclamier: I understand that I signed up for what I needed but this was insanely disappointing. OpenTable allows you to make resos for like 20+ people so I was hesitant because I work in the industry and know that could be an issue. Usually they have a policy on their reservation notes when you book but I didn’t see any so I called and got an ok from the Owner and a hostess. When we got there, we were sat a separate tables at the front. We tried asking for the back section but was told that there was no music so we were stuck at the front. Bartender didn’t know how to make anything, we all waited more than 30minutes for classic cocktails like aperol spritz and vodka sodas. I personally ordered a bottle of red wine and it was In the fridge (red shouldn’t be so cold) and they only had 2 out of the 5 they had on the list. Our food took an hour. When it came out it was all cold! Wth? How is that even possible unless you’re Jsut literally putting cold pre-made stuff together. The server tried her best to rectify but honestly we had our guests leaving early to have dinner elsewhere. I ate my food and told her it was cold, because I was starving. Btw owner “persuaded” us to sit in the front of the Restaurnt and then opened the doors right by our tables to attract people?? Music was ok but it was empty on a Thursday. I would recommend not coming here for food or beverages. This place is for when you’re PLASTERED AND DRUNK. Everyone has to make money I get it but if you’re selling a service and food, you gotta do your part too. Very disappointed and will not return. Won’t even recommend. I don’t know if you cna tell with this pizza bit was fully burnt when it arrived af the the table. All the pizza we ordered was burnt LOL what a joke btw had to pay full price. Whatever I didn’t want a discount for remade COLD Food cuz when we sent back stuff it came back the same.

I’d rate it zero stars if I could. We bought $11 dollars for hip hop night… no hip hop music in SIGHT. I bought one drink and got scammed for $33 and tried to call in about it and got told no can do. When they put “cheap drinks” on their ticketed events don’t believe it lmao

I saw some other reviews regarding the manager being rude to the other staff and I saw it first hand. Cara, the manager who was on site when I was in for some drinks was truly awful to our server. She was rude, snappy and unkind the entire time we were there. I think the drinks were overpriced for the atmosphere she set. Would not recommend, or if you do go, stay away from Cara.

Such a vibe! Restaurant that turns into a party at night with bottle service. So many special guests show up! The food is amazing (try the chicken supreme)! Drinks are fantastic, and the whole restaurant is just so pretty! The red hues are a vibe and the atmosphere is so fun!

Honestly such an amazing place live the vibe love the workers! Such great service but overall the food was delicious! Keanne was amazing she recommended the drinks and the food and honeslty hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had! She was so good to us she definitely took good care of us when we visited! The drinks on the other hand was lovely I highly highly recommend checking this place out if your ever downtown! They turn into a night club after hours

Great bar, really enjoyed the attentive and amazing service from the staff, the bartenders were eager to please and the servers were friendly and great. We didn't have any food as it was more a cocktail bar then a restaurant when we arrived a little later in the evening but we enjoyed the cocktails, they were well made and fun to try. The very niche look of the bar is appealing, chic, and interesting. It's very engaging. My boyfriend and I had a great time!

If I could 0 stars, I would. Had one of the worst experiences.. the only good thing about the place was the DJ. The AC wasn't working and the guy at the entrance was extremely racist, and my entire group had to leave eventually. We were all Indians attending a Bollywood Night, and yet we were treated with hostility. He bullied and singled out my friends in the middle of the night in a way that felt deeply harassing and disrespectful. Totally unacceptable.

Nice experience here at Scarlet after my last visit a couple years back during Covid when they first opened. Very friendly staff from the door staff to the bartenders to the servers. The DJ was great and got me using Shazam. Recommend when in Queen west and you need to stop in for a drink.

This place Has a really nice aesthetic and lighting! I really like the vibe in here. I ordered the prosciutto and arugula pizza, which was a white pizza with no tomato sauce, which was surprisingly good and I could share it. For dessert, I got tiramisu, which was also pretty good. Moist and chocolatey! The only thing is, the place was all understaffed, but they were still nice. I recommend their pizzas, they're pretty good! What a nice atmosphere! The place is well-decorated, and the red color is definitely their style. Almost everything is red, such as the sofa, the tree, and the lighting. They have a huge space, so you can hold a private party in the restaurant. The lychee martini? It's the perfect drink for beginners - not too bitter, sweet, and so easy to drink. If you're not a fan of alcohol, they'll whip up a custom mocktail just for you. I tried the grapefruit mojitoand it was refreshing. This spot also offers tasty snacks and main courses. I highly recommend the calamari with hot sauce and their garlic basil dipping sauce - it was delicious and perfect as a snack while drinking. I also tried the Cajun pollo penne, which was a bit spicy with a creamy sauce. Plus, they also have vegetarian options, and I tried the grilled vegetable pizza which included a variety of vegetables and was absolutely delicious. ‍

Please never go to this fuckin bar very disappointin. I booked a party and when I came here there was nothing here. fuckin people drinking that's it.

- Saturday RNB night was so much fun - music was hitting they played soca, RNB, afrobeats, hip hop - the drinks were hittin - the service was hittin - I BEGGED them to make food after the kitchen was closed, and they obliged - the aesthetic was cute - management was cooperative amidst all my reservation changes

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. In my 12 years of going to bars, I've never encountered an establishment more misogynistic, racist, insecure, and incompetent. The owner charged for tickets to an event, claiming they stated the event ran from 9pm-11pm, which wasn't true. To make matters worse, his employees gave patrons conflicting information. When we tried to address the inconsistencies, the owner attempted to paint us as aggressive simply because we expressed our concerns. He even criticized me for using my hands while talking, trying to use that as an excuse to label me as 'aggressive,' even though I never raised my voice, never got in his face, and never used disrespectful language--unlike him. I strongly urge people to steer clear of this place at all costs.

Went for drinks with my girlfriends and it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. We had a reservation, but still had to wait 20 mins to be seated. They were clearly understaffed and flustered because of it. I ordered Sangria and it was honestly disgusting. I'm not hard to please when it comes to drinks, but it was not drinkable. A friend of mine got a glass of wine and the glass was so dirty and grimy that she didn't want to drink from it. Lastly, they did not seem to be following covid protocols. Luckily, our table was away from the crowds and near an indoor/outdoor section, but it was uncomfortable to see. Don't bother going here - so many other amazing bars in the city.

I have never been treated so badly at a restaurant as I was at Scarlett. The manager was so rude and disrespectful. Shockingly awful. 0/10 don't dine here.
