Brewery with craft beer, Southern picnic food, and patio

"This Oakhurst-based brewpub opened in 2019. It’s owned by Armando Celentano, Benjamin Rhoades, and Donald Durant of popular East Atlanta Village pub Argosy. The Oakhurst brewpub includes a tasting room and bar with up to 20 taps and a dining room as well as a patio and beer garden. The brewery uses mainly Georgia-grown ingredients, such as satsuma oranges in beers like the Charging Crystals sour IPA. As for food, Sceptre hosts regular weekly food pop-ups in its kitchen." - Eater Staff

"The Decatur brewery plans to stream World Cup matches throughout the tournament, including outside on the patio, which comes equipped with fire pits for keeping warm on cool evenings. Look food from pop-ups as well as plenty of beer to be flowing here, along with hot toddies, boozy cocktails, and wine." - Krista Miller

"When our chef left two years ago we ditched a traditional kitchen and instead brought in chefs who cooked at festivals; the constantly rotating pop-ups now sell more food than we did with a staff chef, keep overhead low, broaden the menu variety, and draw more patrons—so much so that we don’t plan to return to having our own kitchen." - Kris Martins

"Curbside service runs Monday through Saturday, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Orders are taken at the brewery and can only be paid for with credit or debit. Check Sceptre’s website for available cans." - Kris Martins

"The Oakhurst brewpub contains a tasting room and bar with up to 20 taps, a dining room, patio and beer garden, and Brewmaster Trevor Jones has crafted seven to eight beers including a table beer and dry-hopped culture ales; the spot also serves nitro iced coffee, ginger beer, draft wine, cocktails, other local beers, and a “Southern picnic” food offering." - Beth McKibben
