From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was incredible. The little candle by the front, the cute vintage decor all around, the bathroom with the cheese grater as the light fixture and the buckets as sinks- such a cute vibe. The service was impeccable. Our server, Manuel was amazing and fit the vibe; old Italy, I'd say. Not to mention our food- AMZAZING!! The bread was served in a mini colander, and it was so warm and scrumptious... served with good quality olive oil with roasted garlic cloves sitting in the bottom on the ramekin. I ordered veal parmesan with penne alla vodka, and my husband ordered risotto with Bolognese piled on top with burrata and a parmesan crisp to top it off and the presentation was beautiful, but the taste was even better. We ended the night with a piece of pistachio ricotta cheesecake- 10/10! This is now, one of my favorite restaurants in town :) 10/10! Thank you to the owner, the chefs and the great servers, your hard work and attention to detail don't go unnoticed!

I had been planning to dine at Scolapasta for quite some time and I finally was able to visit late on a Sunday night, they had just finished an earlier dinner service rush, and the restaurant was serene with a couple diners enjoying their food and atmosphere. We were taken care of by Trish and she promptly recommended some wine, the manager Michael came over to check on us and recommended an outstanding Burrata appetizer that started our dinner experience we proceeded to go with the chef’s special Prawns stuffed with crab meat and the special Risotto Frutti di Mare topped with seared Ahi Tuna. All the dishes were prepared to perfection and presented elegantly. We ended our dinner appropriately with a homemade Tiramisu, fluffy, creamy and light all at the same time. This is our first visit to Scolapasta, but will not be the last time we come to enjoy Chef Tony’s creations and enjoy the company of the whole Scolapasta crew.

This is my favorite restaurant in fort lauderdale and my go to recommendation for friends and family coming to visit the city! The service is incredible. The owners, waiters, and bartenders care about you feeling comfortable and relaxed while at dinner. The food is A+ with an unbeatable price for the quality. Can’t wait to come back!

From the moment I stepped into Scolapasta Bistro, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere immediately felt warm and inviting, much like walking into a beloved family member’s home for a meal. And the food—wow! Every dish was a masterpiece, from the first bite to the last (photos attached to get a glimpse at what we ate). The flavors were perfectly balanced, the ingredients fresh and vibrant, and the presentation was stunning. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the service. The staff at Scolapasta Bistro went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of phenomenal. They were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they were doing. Chef Roberto was absolutely fantastic—his passion for his craft was evident in every dish, and he even took the time to come out and chat with us, making the experience feel even more personal and special. Dining at Scolapasta Bistro felt like being welcomed into a warm, Italian family kitchen where love is the main ingredient. I can’t wait to return and savor more of their culinary delights. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic, heartwarming dining experience.

We had a wonderful dinner last night at Scolapasta! Great appetizers! We dined alfresco and started with the octopus and the meatball appetizers. Delicious! Then we split the “Grillata”…. Grilled shrimp, grilled giant prawn, grilled calamari and finally grilled filet mignon all served on a large shareable platter. The waitress was very attentive and had a sample a few wines before we settled on a super Tuscan and a Sauvignon Blanc. We took lots home. We are definitely going back.

This place is AMAZING. This was our first visit but, we will definitely be going back. Delicious homemade pasta. I had the pork chop which was the special. I shared part of it with a friend and we both agree, it was the best pork chop we ever had. If you’ve never been there, you need to give it a try. The staff is as incredible as the food.😊 Michael, Cliff, Jose and Raoul - thank you!

This was my first time at Scolapasta but certainly not my last. After several recommendations from friends, I assembled a group of friends to give it a try — and a wonderful Italian treasure it was. Upon entering the place, you face the bar; the friendly bartender welcomes you by assuring you that someone will come by shortly. Our Server Adrian (not “Yo Adrian”) presented the menus, took our drinks order, came back with drinks, and began to verbally enumerate a long bunch of item specials that were not on the menu… he highly emphasized that all pastas are homemade in the house, and all veggies are fresh (not canned or frozen). And he remarkably explained how each of those dishes were prepared. The food was exceptional, portions were ample generous, and expect to spend about $30-35/person not including drinks, tax, and gratuity.

Just Had Dinner at Scolapasta Bistro and It Was Beautiful! If you’re looking for a great Italian dining experience, look no further than Scolapasta Bistro. Located downtown fort Laurdale this Italian eatery is sure to provide a memorable dining experience. We recently had the pleasure of dining at Scolapasta Bistro, and it was an amazing experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were immediately struck by the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with dim lighting and comfortable seating. We opted to sit outside, which was perfect for enjoying the warm night. The food at Scolapasta Bistro was delicious. We started off with a delicious antipasto platter, which was filled with a variety of delicious Italian meats and cheeses. The only issue we had was that the pasta was a bit overcooked. The service at Scolapasta Bistro was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure to check on us throughout our meal. They were also very knowledgeable about the menu and were happy to answer any questions we had.

Yelp
3/18/25 So happy to see Scolapasta bistro is back in business. Many things remain the same in a good way. We were happy to see the Zeppoli still included in the bread basket. That is always a tasty treat. Hubby chose the homemade ziti with meatballs and sausage in a Bolognese sauce and I had Pappardelle with a lamb shank ragu that was out of this world. Karys was a delight to interact with and she made sure that we had everything we needed. Scolapasta is an intimate venue and a perfect spot for a date night.

Yelp
Went to Scolapasta Bistro in Fort Lauderdale for dinner recently. Quaint little place with a nice atmosphere. Huge open kitchen which probably takes up 50% of the square footage of the entire place. Wine and beer only, which was fine. Our server was helpful and attentive. Started with the "Fresh Local Burrata" appetizer with prosciutto, arugula, baby tomato, olive oil, and balsamic. It was very good. For my entree I was struggling with deciding between three pasta dishes and told my server that he should pick it for me. He suggested the "Homemade In-House Penne" with meatballs and sausage in a hearty red tomato sauce with grated cheese and basil. Not only was it absolutely delicious, but I have to say that this was unequivocally the single largest bowl of pasta I've ever been served in a restaurant. The picture doesn't even do it justice how much pasta was in that bowl. Most places you go serve half this amount. I would even say that if you get an appetizer or two and just one pasta dish, that's probably enough for two people. But of course I couldn't stop myself from polishing the entire thing off myself. I'll absolutely be back.

Yelp
With so many great Italian restaurants in the area, I was blown away at how good Scolapasta is and why it wasn't packed on the night I was there! This place surely is in my Top 5 now of Italian restaurants in town as I loved the cozy ambiance and attentive service not to mention the food! We came early on a weeknight and had our choice of tables. Since we were celebrating a birthday, I was thrilled that they let the birthday boy pick where he wanted to sit so we had a great table by the window (looks out at the parking lot, but hey, it's a window!) Our server,Raul was over in a flash. He was very knowledgeable about not only the menu and the vast array of specials, but also took the time to find us the perfect bottle of wine to go with our dinner. Since we love to taste a range of the menu when we go to a new restaurant, we knew that we were going to have a ton of leftovers as the portions are huge and we ordered enough for probably 6 people! But we got to taste a range of items which was the goal. Our night started with a basket of bread which I usually ignore but these came with some of the best rolls served with olive oil. I had to seriously focus on talking so I wouldn't eat more than one! We started with the octopus and the clams as starters. The octopus was probably the freshest and best cooked that I have had. Moist and meaty, it came over a bed of arugula with tomatoes and roasted potatoes. This in itself could have been my entree. The clams were equally as good. For entrees, we tried a range of the pastas all of which are made in house and cooked perfectly al dente which is the way I love my pasta! I was in carb heaven! I had the seafood pasta as my entree which had so much seafood, I had to dig underneath it to find the pasta. It was very good. The other pasta we had was the meatballs with penne pasta. Delicious! And we weren't done yet, as we also had the risotto of the day with shrimp and artichokes which was amazing! And if that wasn't enough food, my friend also had the veal parmesan served with more pasta. This was perfectly prepared and large enough for 3 meals on it's own! Just as we were thinking to ask for the bill, the restaurant sent over a couple of limoncellos. Just like being in Italy! And while we tried to eat the birthday tiramisu for dessert, we were both so full that we ended up taking most of that home as well. Scolapasta exceeded our expectations for great Italian food served by a terrific staff. Can't wait to head back and see what else I can try! Oh- and those leftovers? Almost as good as when they came out of the kitchen!

Yelp
12/02/2023 - The service was very good. Our server was Michael and he was very nice. We were not impressed with our main dishes at all,but our appetizers were very good. STAY AWAY FROM THE RED SNAPPER STUFFED WITH CRAB, it was terrible with no flavor at all. The ambiance and service was good but if we ever come back here, we will stick with just italian dishes and the appetizers. We had: Meatball appetizer - very good Scallop and artichoke appetizer- very good Fettuccine Alfredo- not too bad Grilled NY Steak - just ok, but again this place isn't a steakhouse. Penne Ala Vodka with grilled chicken- not too bad, the grilled chicken was pretty good.

Yelp
Outstanding Italian Cuisine. Impeccable service. Extremely attentive. The atmosphere was soothing and relaxing. Overall, one of the greatest Italian bistros in South Florida. 100% recommend and will most definitely be going back.

Yelp
This cute Italian Bistro is just two blocks from our condo, so it was time to check it out. I had heard excellent things about the food, where everything was made to order....and homemade. We arrived without a reservation on a Friday night and we barely got a table....it's advisable to make a reservation if you plan to go, since the place does get busy. They had tables outside on the closed parking lot or inside in the charming dining room. The place is very busy and the waiters are always running around bringing food, taking orders, helping customers. While we were reading the extensive menu free bread with olive oil was brought to the table. Delicious ! We got the Malfadine pasta and the Gnocchi. Both were just excellent. The sauce on the pasta dish was light and well balanced, so it was not too salty nor overwhelming. The pomodoro sauce on the gnocchi was light and very fresh tasting.... The words around the table were...fresh, it tastes homemade, light, not heavy, delicious, excellent !!! A great dining experience overall.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! This was our second stop here on our five day trip, as we were so impressed the first time! We have traveled throughout Italy, and somehow this spot in Ft. Lauderdale has the best mussels we have ever tasted! Love the little personalized twists they place on all of their menu items. Mojito's were absolutely delicious & the octopus was out of this world. Amazing staff as well- will definitely be returning!

Yelp
Scolapasta is a italian style restaurant. The food was very very good and was extremely fast. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. I went around 7 and it wasn't crowded at all.

Yelp
We ordered from grub hub, the penne vodka, cheese pizza, and pistachio cheesecake. Penne vodka came with garlic rolls that tasted fried and small slices of bread. The penne was a large portion and was very good. It was light, flavorful and not greasy or heavy. The pizza had the right amount of sauce and cheese (asked for extra sauce). The crust was crispy on the outside and soft inside. It wasn't greasy either. Almost a cross between a Sicilian and Ny style and it had a somewhat thick but soft crust and undercarriage. It was maybe a 10" and came in an oval shape. Enough for 1 person. The only issue was that half the pizza was a bit burnt on the edges and bottom. The pistachio cheesecake was also very good and very fresh with no aftertaste. It had a nice graham cracker crust with a fluffy cheesecake with almond and pistachio undertones. If the crust was less burnt and the garlic rolls that came with the pasta were not fried, this would be 5 stars. That being said, we could come back again.

Yelp
It's been a LONG time since we've eaten out and left saying "That was great." So, it was pure joy to experience Scolapasta on May 16. From the friendly energy delivered when I made the reservation to the excellent food, and amazing thoughtful ambience... and the (complimentary) homemade bread, to the visible kitchen, to Trish's authentically friendly and attentive service -- the whole thing felt like dining out used to feel. Worth it. My husband had the ricotta gnocchi, son had the Malfaine, and I had the Penne alla Vodka. All were great!

Yelp
Went to Scolapasta last night and was very disappointed. Service was good and the ambiance was relaxing and comfortable. The food was not as good as it used to be. My wife had Linguine Gamberi. The shrimp and the pasta were good, the prawns were not and the sauce was bland. I had "Margheritta Pizza" which was awful. It looked like a rectangular flat bread with sliced tomatoes on top. The crust was dry and tastless and it was one of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten. We both had half our dinners left on the plate and our waiter didn't bother to ask if we wanted them boxed, which we didn't. The wine we ordered was listed as a Montepulciano, but the bottle didn't make any reference to Montepulciano, only Rosso.

Yelp
Coming from an Italian I will say this was by far one of the best meals we've ever had. From the appetizers to the desserts . Amazing!

Yelp
First time here. Ordered for takeout. Grilled Octopus was Intriguing and glad I ordered it. The Ricotta Gnocchi was very good. Clams Linguine was also excellent. The staff was very friendly. Atmosphere is enticing, will dine in next time .

Yelp
Solid 3.5 stars. We enjoyed our dinner with friends here in this small and cozy Italian restaurant. The star of the meal in my opinion was the pizza! It was cooked to perfection, and had great flavor. For dinner I had my go to of chicken parmigiana and rigatoni. The portion was huge! I was very happy with the way the pasta was cooked, but was not a huge fan of their red sauce. A little too bitter yet lacking salt. I sampled the chicken franchise and fettuccine alfredo as well. Both were good however, still that lack of salt. I read other reviews that were pretty mixed but I honestly think they were having an off night. Service was extremely slow yet very friendly. I would definitely give them another shot and maybe try some of their other menu items. As far as a cannoli goes, it is not what you may be used to. It's more like a rolled pizzelle with a filling. Give them a shot! Try the pizza!

Yelp
I really enjoyed My experience here. They have lots of outdoor seating so we sat outside on a beautiful night. My friend has been here twice before and recommended we go here I love Italian places that make their own pasta as I can get boxed pasta and cook it at home. I had the homemade rigatoni with mini meatballs and eggplant in a tomato sauce that was really light and delicious. My friend had the beet salad. They bring you fresh bread that's delicious. I was too full for dessert however the table next to us ordered the tiramisu which looks great. I will be back to try the dessert Service was great they were very attentive.

Yelp
A little disappointed. Our friend invited us to dinner and suggested we all try Scolapasta. Before I get into the food, I will say it was a very nice restaurant and the staff was very nice. It was a Friday night, so the road was closed down so you could enjoy outside dining and live music. Unfortunately the food was just ok at best. My wife and our friend had the Sunday gravy and I had the Frutti de Mare. Immediately when my wife and friend took the first bite they both said SALTY!!!!! When I tasted it, I agreed. It was not enough to send it back, but the predominant flavor was salt. As for my dish, it was very well presented. However the flavor and pasta fell very short of good. The sauce was very spicy and that was all you could taste. The pasta was overcooked and mushy. Not a good first impression. When we told the owner our concerns, he was very apologetic and offered us complementary dessert. We took them up on the offer and order cannolis and ricotta cheesecake. I hate beating a dead horse, but we would've been better off, not ordering dessert at all. The cannoli filling was very good, but the shell was not a traditional cannoli shell and almost like a cookie crust. The ricotta cheesecake was awful. The top was partially burnt and the cheesecake itself was watery and heavily salted. We left the cheesecake and only ate one cannoli. We were not out looking for a free meal so we paid our tab and we called it a night after that . Sorry no pictures. As soon as we got the food, I forgot to take pictures because we started discussing how off the food was.

Yelp
Honestly, I'm just disappointed. I love small Italian restaurants but the level of discomfort that I felt here was just not worth the experience. We get there and the place was packed. We stood at the front waiting to be seated, despite our reservation, for what felt like forever. It took awhile before someone even bothered to ask us if we were being attended to. When we are finally seated, we end up getting a very rude waiter who was offended by the fact that we asked for some water to get started off with. It also felt like if he was rushing us to pick and choose what we wanted, which just added to our discomfort. When we finally ordered, the couple next to us warned us that they just got their appetizers and they've been waiting for about 45min. We didn't quite believe them, until 45min passed and our orders also didn't come. Our waiter didn't even bother to let us know that our food was delayed AND he didn't bother to give us our complimentary bread that everyone seemed to have gotten but us (I asked later on and under his breath he said "oh shit, you didn't get your bread?")... So we were starving by the time we got our meal and in all honesty, it was rather bland. We really wanted dessert but ended up leaving because the company sitting next to us were making us feel extremely uncomfortable, on top of all the discomforts that we were already feeling. All in all, I personally will not be returning.

Yelp
The food was fantastico!!! Went with friends and everyone loved their meals. Service was great and it's a very nice place for dinner or a date night. Glad we found it and we will be back next year!!

Yelp
Best food. Best service. Most amazing atmosphere. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the universe. I'm not exaggerating. A couple years ago it was our favorite accidental spot when we stopped in on a whim and were able to enjoy an amazing Christmas eve dinner. We discovered the fabulousness of homemade pasta. And I proceeded to learn to make it myself! I wanted to update that a year and a half later, it is still as fabulous as it was the first time we visited. They've changed the way they present/serve the tiramisu, but it's still quite fabulous.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Friendly atmosphere. From appetizers to main dish. I highly recommend it all.

Yelp
Absolutely positively outstanding! Their pasta is made there everything is made with fresh ingredients. We had the octopus and grilled romaine appetizers. I ordered the homemade in house shells with broccoli rabe and sausage my boyfriend the seafood risotto. I ordered a nice bottle of red wine from Sicily and cannolis for dessert. Raul and team provided excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for everything! We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant and we plan to return.

Yelp
I had dinner last night with my family at Scolapasta and it was great. We knew the restaurant had recently changed ownership so we were curious to give it a try. First off the service was excellent, Mike took care of us, he was really friendly and gave us a lot of attention even if the place was packed. The food was really great, we highly recommend the crab cake and the risotto with seafood. The wine list was nice too, we had a bottle of their Pinot Grigio La Corte, absolutely delicious. Definitely highly recommended!

Yelp
Summary: 12 out of 5 stars. Just go, what's wrong with you? This place is going on our permanent restaurant rotation. Amazing food. Service was perfect. Staff very knowledgable about the menu. One of the best Italian restaurants in S. FL. Grilled hearts of romaine was a surprise take on a caesar salad. It was delicious and cravable. Even the bread made an impression. Had mussels and clams fra diavolo with linguini....amazing. Wife has a 4-cheese risotto....amazing. Meatballs....incredible. Desserts...fantastic. The chef has a 200 IQ. Pure culinary genius. We made reservations for the following weekend. I'm annoyed I am only finding out about this place now. They have been open for 8 years. You won't regret your experience at Scolapasta.

Yelp
A local gem. Denise had been putting out the best Italian food in Fort Lauderdale for years. Hand made pastas the old school way. Always fresh. My family lives near by and have been enjoying coming here since day one. I could sit here and type some long review about how knowledgeable I am dining out and how much of a foodie I am. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. We order a few chicken and veal parms also but no pics. I was enjoying myself too much and forgot to take pictures of them. Raul is also our favorite server. Ask for him if you can. :)

Yelp
Came here after seeing the glowing recommendations about Scolapasta on Let's Eat South Florida. Was impressed with the quality of the food. You can't beat homemade pasta! Loved the penne a la vodka and special for the night, a seafood pasta with half a lobster in a fra diavolo sauce with linguine! The sauces were perfectly done, the pasta was perfectly al dente! Also loved the bread basket, it had these perfect little garlic roll fritters, like a savory beignet or zeppoli. Will be back often! Highly recommend!

Yelp
For some reason, this place which I think has been open a couple of years had previously escaped my attention until a large group of friends had a dinner there and posted about it on Facebook. So, Wednesday night, two of us went to see for ourselves, making a reservation for 730 at first my guard was up because we arrived on time, and they seemed to not be able to see us right away. They were very pleasant, and remedied the situation within a relatively short 10 minutes. We shared a chop salad, which was excellent and comically generous in size. Four of us could've shared it. We both selected the rigatoni with little meatballs and sautéed eggplant in a red sauce. It too, was large enough that we certainly could've shared one. It was really delicious with pasta that certainly seemed to be freshly made on premises as claimed, and a fairy tasty combination. I left very happy and thought that it had a nice neighborhood feel. Clearly, this is the kind of place to come with a group and share orders family style. There's a lot of competition in this category with a very short distance, but this place certainly deserves its shareof attention.

Yelp
The food, service and ambience of Scolapasta is absolutely outstanding. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. Perfect in every way!!!

Yelp
Food less than average, poorly presented, tasteless Service not friendly at all, our server was quite rude, in a hurry, this was my 3rd time there and certainly my last!.

Yelp
I went to Scolapasta for dinner with my wife and daughter on Friday. We're always looking for nice Italian food and possibly home made pasta. We loved the family atmosphere right away, the waiters were very welcoming and helpful. Raul, the Manager, was so nice and knowledgeable, turned out he lived in Pidmont for many years and has a passion for Italian food and wine. From the apetizers to the pasta everything was authentic and delicious. As suggested by Raul I also ordered a very nice Montepulciano Riserva that paired really well with their food. Highly recommended!!

Yelp
It' starts with the gracious bartender, hostess then on to the George Clooney look alike waiter. The homemade pasta was delicious (although very large portions) and my baseline main(which I judge all Italian restaurants by) chicken parm was delicious. Great restaurant.

Yelp
Make reservations! We did not have reservations but they sat us and pretty much ignored us the duration. The food was very good, and I am taking some blame due to the no reservations thing, but honestly I'd have rather they turn us away than neglect us the entire meal on my birthday. We had to stop the waiter anytime we wanted anything and the waiting for service caused us to be there for 2 hrs! We were a party of 2, other patrons came after and had prompt service leading to a much shorter stay. They also didn't do anything special for the birthday (like a candle or message on the plate or comped dessert) but they do provide a complimentary chocolate milk type shot with the check. Overall, this is a nice place for reserved dining but I would not come again for a birthday.

Joe G.

Yelp
The food was amazing and the service was top notch. We will be returning. The branzio was cooked to perfection and the pasta was perfect you al dente!

Yelp
The ambiance was straight out of the Mediterranean very welcoming and inviting, service was great the Friday night we walked in. We did not have a reservation and they were very busy they offered outside or at the bar and we chose at the bar and had immediate service. All servers were very attentive and sweet. We were served bread and oil for an appetizer and the bread was delicious. I ordered the shrimp risotto special and it was light and delicious with a lemon taste to it. My husband had the linguine with clams and they were savory and delicious. For dessert we split the limoncello shot. Absolutely delicious and hit the spot. You have to hit this spot! Great service and amazing food! You don't want miss it!

Yelp
I wish I had read reviews before going here! We had a 7 pm reservation this past Saturday at Scolapasta. We had one server who seemed annoyed with us because we weren't ready to order in her timeframe. In fairness to her, we watched her run between outdoor and indoor tables. She just didn't have the time to serve us. It's very hard to have tables scattered around a restaurant. Much better service happens when your tables are near each other. Suggestion: create stations for your servers. She handed us off to another server who took our order and didn't come back on his own to check on us. We grabbed him one other time. He was running around too--several large tables that he attended to quite well it seemed. Bigger potential tip so I understand. Suggestion: mix small and larger tables in all stations so servers have a chance to make good money and deliver great service. We waited and waited for our dinner. I think the server didn't put the order in until we said something. We watched everyone who came in after us get their food. The owner didn't take any responsibility for the mistake. She blamed it on the meal I had ordered which was a special. If they didn't have any left, they should have told me an hour before when I ordered it. It was supposed to be rigatoni with short rib ragu. Instead it was rigatoni with marinara sauce and two hunks of short rib. I asked her why they called it ragu when it isn't ragu and she told me that some people don't like the ragu so they give them the block of short rib instead. I said "that's fine but you shouldn't call it ragu." She told me that you can't make everyone happy. This is true, but don't misrepresent your menu. (I didn't say that out loud but I thought it.) Suggestion: Own your mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes at times. It's human. Don't make excuses. Customers aren't stupid and they'll see right through your excuses. Also, you are disrespectful to your customers when you make excuses. Great way to lose loyalty. She did offer us free dessert which we took, but I noticed that the amount charged to my card was more than the amount on the receipt. We left a 15% cash tip even though we weren't sure who we were tipping or why. I used the ladies room which is near the very disorganized kitchen. I don't know how they get any orders out. What a mess. I saw a table off to the side with meat on it. I don't leave meat sitting out on my counter at home. After writing this, I noticed a report by the health department where they were cited for food problems almost a year ago. Yikes! Suggestion: Keep your meats in the fridge until you're ready to use them. Also, everyone needs to tell the owner their role to make sure they know what they are responsible for. People need to keep their work area organized--especially when the kitchen is busy and people feel stressed out. Take a moment and organize. To summarize: the food is okay. I did not get sick. If you want to pay $60/person for Italian food that is only okay and poor service due to disorganization, you should definitely go to Scolapasta right away.

Yelp
This place is as italian as it gets with it's made to order pasta, wines, and big family vibes. There was a 50 minute wait but it was very worth it. The bread. You get to start comes with a garlic infused oil that is so delicious. We ordered the festival lasagna off their specials menu which is fried slices of lasagna served with marinara sauce. I got the housemade penne with sausage and meatballs and my wife got linguine with clams. The meatballs and sausage were the best I have ever eaten I almost wanted to get an order of meatballs Togo so I could make a meatball sandwich the next day. I'm in the camp of if ya got to wait for it, it must be good, and that certainly was the case

Yelp
Just had dinner at Scolapasta Bistro and it was amazing! The ambience was great and we loved sitting outside under the lights. The fresh pasta was delicious and the summer dishes were very malicious. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This is my second visit to Scolapasta. I live in the area and frequent local restaurants very often. The first time I went to Scolapasta the food was horrible. i gave them a pass and went back a second time ordering something different. It was as bad as bad can get. I do not recommend you waste your money in this restaurant; however, the only way it will stay in business is by tourists coming here for one meal. Locals beware. The food here is just about as bad as bad can be.

Yelp
Excellent, authentic Italian bistro! The food is superb as well as the service. It's a relatively small venue and a reservation is a must. All the pasta is made in house and prepared perfectly al dente. I will return again and again.

Yelp
What a great find this is! I met friends visiting in town here based on a recommendation. Raul was an outstanding server, and the pasta was fresh, and obviously made with love. I had the orecchiette with broccoli rabe, my friends had penne vodka and penne with meatballs and sausage. Our dinners were prepared very nicely, and the portions were more than we could finish. A great appetizer and warm bread preceded our meal. The prices were very reasonable, and we even chatted with the owner while she was making pasta by hand. She does it that way because that's what they taught her in culinary classes in Italy. Yes, there are many choices for Italian food in the area. And some are very good. The next time we're in the mood, we're going straight back here. Not a second thought.

Yelp
Wonderful food, very tasty, fresh ingredients, fantastic tomato sauce. The decor is that of a little Italian trattoria. Very nice, but the scolas hanging in the kitchen and which can be seen from dining room need a serious dusting! Place gets very noisy on Fridays and Saturdays on account of musician which forces diners to yell if they wish to have a conversation. Terrace is better on those nights. Unfortunately for us, it was too cold that particular Friday to be outside. The cappuccino was excellent and our waiter attentive and friendly. We will go back!

Yelp
Scolapasta was recommended to me years ago, and I regret not coming here way sooner! The ambiance and vibe is exactly what you'd want at an Italian restaurant. It's very comfy and homey. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the focaccia appetizer - we opted for a taste of all three types. The bread itself was the best part - soft and super flavorful. For dinner, my dad really enjoyed the ricotta gnocchi, and I enjoyed the rigatoni with eggplant and mini meatballs. Both dishes were full of flavor, and the fresh pasta was cooked perfectly. Our wonderful server Graziano treated us to a delicious mixed Bailey's nightcap, and we ordered the limoncello cheesecake, which was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend having dinner at Scolapasta - everything about the evening was wonderful!
