Wow. Just wow.
Around 7pm on Saturday, my wife, daughter, and I stopped by Scott Brothers BBQ at The Lot in Middleton for dinner—and it absolutely blew us away.
I wasn't sure what to expect when we first opened our takeout, but holy smokes—the brisket was incredible. Perfectly tender, flavorful, and paired with a sauce that tasted unmistakably homemade. You could taste the molasses, the vinegar, and every carefully balanced element in it. It was next-level.
The ribs? Equally amazing. Not overly sweet, just the right amount of glaze and smoke. Even the pickles stood out—we ordered them on the side, and they were phenomenal. My wife is a pickle enthusiast, and she was seriously impressed. Our daughter couldn't stop eating them either.
And then there was the mac and cheese, which we initially got for our daughter—but after one bite, I was hooked. You can tell they made a proper roux. This wasn’t your run-of-the-mill mac and cheese; it was creamy, rich, and clearly crafted with care.
Everything we had was absolutely top-tier. I genuinely can’t wait to go back and try more. Scott Brothers BBQ has officially made it onto my list of top BBQ spots in Massachusetts. A+++++, highly recommended.
Also, shout out to the guy taking our order and explaining some of the menu items to us. Super friendly staff!!! You'll be seeing us again!
