Yelp
I can't really write a review for the food or service because we got their at 15 minutes till 11p and were told that the kitchen closes at 11p. The website says that they close at midnight, but apparently that isn't the case for the kitchen. I was a bit disappointed that we went there thinking that they were open for at least another hour. The server wasn't rude about it, and I didn't want to go ahead and order knowing that they were closing. I asked if there was another place in the area that was still open for food, and they suggested an Irish Pub across the street. We ended up going there and having a pretty good meal. As far as the ambiance. It looked like it could have been a fun place if they weren't closing so early. If I am ever in the area again, I may go back and give them another try.

Yelp
They cancelled my friend's reservation with no warning and kept the security deposit. Waiting on them to call me back. Idk about the food or ambiance bc they cancelled it for us.

Yelp
Eh. We came here for Easter. It was unorganized. We had a 11am reservation but it seemed so did 100 other people. The place was still bringing out tables while we stood in line after 11. It was free seating which added to the chaos because you had to scout for a seat and hold it down while the rest of your party went through the buffet line. The buffet wasn't anything to write home about and the dessert was hidden across the room in the back. There weren't many games and it really wasn't worth $29.95 per person.

Yelp
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! Deceptive billing- I asked to close out my tab, but the bartender only provided a credit card total receipt (same with all the people in my party); when I asked for the detailed bill, they already added 20% tip, upcharged/unwanted premium drinks, plus looking for another tip!! Oh, the manager said the chefs can't scramble an egg on their spork burger... They tried to rip everyone off in the bar. Really sad..

Yelp
Great mood, great food, great atmosphere. Tastes good. I've been hear for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Yelp
FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! Went for Easter Brunch, food was ok, nothing special. My main issue was it was advertised as free arcade and bowling on their website. The bowling was free but all the arcade you had to pay for. The bartender even admitted he didn't know why they did that on the website. So its not like "oops sorry" it was more like "yeah you caught us". The manager also acted surprised when we brought this up to them. Just want to make others aware if you plan on bringing kids who want to use the arcade. Also "arcade" It was maybe 3 machines that we could see and one was broken. Lower your expectations.

Yelp
Omar was great! Extraordinary service. Omar is as knowledgeable, accommodating, funny and caring. Will be back for sure. I ordered a Negroni and was NOT disappointed! Thank you Omar for making our night!

Yelp
The only this place is getting two stars from me is because of the quest dip and the waitress. We went on valentines days and to be honest was not crowded, the tables were empty (bar was full) but still. Yet it always took FOREVER to get literally any thing from ordering drinks to food to even requesting our bill. We honestly could have walked out and they wouldn't have even noticed. We had ordered the chili cheese fries, chips and queso dip, and a friend ordered the chicken. Honestly the chicken looked gross and flavorless. The best part was the queso it wasnt liquidy like how they usually serve it, this one was a white cheese and extremely thick and kinda chunky (this was a major win) For drinks my friend and I had ordered the wild berry sangria and to be honest this was more like ice water with cut up fruit and a DASH of wine. Absolutely horrible, I am a light weight too and i didn't feel it. Actually it's because it was just water and ice and they charged us 11$ per drink for that. Our waitress was really nice and so were the other weight staff. No complaints there really except that we felt forgotten a lot. All in all will I be back? Probably never glad I got to go and check it out. To be honest if it wasn't for the queso dip and our waitress I would've liked to give this place 1 star.

Yelp
Just inside the Statler Hotel is the restaurant Scout. After the YMCA Turkey trot, we decided to catch the Thanksgiving brunch. Glad they were open, just not many choices on Thanksgiving! $39 per person Cornbread dressing- Great Prime Rib - ok Ham - Good Turkey- Good Brussel Spross - Good Squash soup - Ok Mashed potatoes Green beans Rolls Pecan pie Pumpkin pie A neat place to hang out and the food was just ok. When in Dallas, give them s try. Go get Full

Yelp
Wonderful food and great Happy Hour specials, 4-6 PM on food and drink! The 7 layer dip and shrimp ceviche are my favorite appetizers for sharing in groups and perfect with a margarita, beer or a cider. Bowling is fun, but you are so close to other people you don't know in the seating area. The shoe sizing is a little confusing too and people were just putting shoes back wherever they wanted. Shaun at the bar is such a friendly server who takes time to talk and craft your cocktail perfectly. (Mine was an old fashioned cocktail). He has been my server a couple times now and one of the reasons this place is so great. However, our server when we were seated at the table was very slow and kept asking us to repeat our drinks ordered. The music here though, wow! The live band we saw (Blue Water Highway) and DJ were fantastic! I wish there were more people the night we were there because the music was great and not many people were dancing but what a fun time we had. I plan to meet up with friends here on my next Dallas visit.

Yelp
This place is a perfect choice for a low-key Friday night or Saturday afternoon. With bowling, foosball and other games, it's a great way to feel like you're going out without having to go to a club or get super dressed up. It can get kind of loud, in part because bowling is loud, but it's big enough that if it bothers you, you can sit on the other side of the bar from the mini-bowling alley. The butter fries are to die for and the frozen drinks are a great way to keep cool in the Texas heat.

Karla V.

Yelp
Scout a restaurant bar inside the Statler Boutique Hotel in Dallas has lots of potential. For $30 per hour the restaurant offers bowling, the bowling balls are in terrible conditions and only has super heavy balls available. The bowling marker doesn't work so you have to keep your own score. You are supposed to have a server per bowling party but for 40 minutes no one took care of us. Foosball, pool table and ping pong tables available. Large screen to watch events. Trendy bar and restaurant, the food was okay. My salad lettuce was old :/ Burgers and meatball plate were good. Not great costumer service. The only waitress who was caring and was taking care of our party even thou she was not our official waitress was Heather. Thank you Heather. I asked a few questions to the Hostess but she looked at me weird as if I was wrong for asking her questions about their hours and dismissed me by saying they have nothing to do with the hotel.

Yelp
Finally got to eat here at Scout, and our party had so much fun eating & drinking that we forgot to bowl or play ping pong! Hah! Drinks and the 7-Layer Dip started us out right. The dip is medium sized; enough for a party of 4-5 to easily share, and the flavor was good. Our drinks were good, but the Scout bartenders are a step below the B&Banter mixers (in the basement). Our entrees included Shrimp PoBoy (a bit too spicy), Hamburgers (simple but good), Chicken Sandwiches (best thing we tried), and Chili (unusual mix). The fries were good. For dessert we enjoyed the Chocolate Churro dish, and it was a hit! Easily shared by our table of 6, it was flavorful & fun to eat! I wish it had a bit more chocolate, but hey - I'm a nut about chocolate. Because it was my birthday, they even put a candle in it! Fun times!!

Yelp
On my way to bourbon and Banter and got hungry. This lil gem happens to be in the Statler as well so a great place to get a bite to eat before you head to Bourbon and Banter. I was a bit disappointed that they ran out of the black pepper Pilsner. Enrique my bartender made up for the missing Pilsner by allowing me to taste several of the beers to see if what I would like to have instead. What I really wanted was my Black Pepper Pilsner but I Erinque helped me realize a Royal Scandel would suffice until next time . (I forgot to mention that he is really cute lol) Dinner stops at 10pm unless you have a room here at the Statler. After 10 you can order room service with a selection of item from the main menu. On the weekends (Fri and Sat) they have a late night menu at the bar which is from 10pm to midnight. I ordered the pretzel bread with smoked hame and sunchoke dip as my app. It's very delicious, I compare it to an artichoke dip with the addition of ham. My only caveat is that it come out at the same time as my entree. that's a huge no, no in my book. The chicken salad is freaking phenomenal. The avocado, bacon bits and tomatoes set this off right!!! The only thing it's missing is Gorgonzola or blue cheese crumbles umm and maybe some diced boiled egg; but then you would have a Cobb salad (Hint, Hint!!). Based on today's visit. I will definitely b back

Yelp
This amazing bartender Suzette has been here all day by herself, no bar back no manager no relief. Running her own food , washing glasses. She is still here and serving every customer with a smile and doing whatever she can to make it happen. Major props. #Wonder Woman, #woman

Yelp
Poor service all around. Hostess seemed kind of clueless, didn't really care that we were there and what we were wanting, to bowl, and if there was any availability. "Can we bowl?" "Well, there's people there." "Do we need to get on a waiting list?" "Uh...we'll tell you when you can bowl." Last we heard of that. Got the Dog Pile Nachos...pile was right. Big pile of chips with some cheese thrown on one side, some black beans here and there, some brisket chunks, and a huge pile of sour cream glopped on top. And a buttload of chips with nothing on them. Only way to get attention was to go to the bar and ask for something, our waitress barely paid any attention to us and it wasn't busy. Took forever to get our bill.

Yelp
This will be my first ever review, so, you know something went wrong when one creates a yelp to leave a 1 star review. Hostess? Didn't give af when my gf and I walked in. Actually, we addressed the door guy who was standing within sniffing room of her because she couldn't be bothered to stand up or get off her phone. The door guy proceeds to point to her and tell us, "talk to her". She looked at us without saying a word and just started walking, expecting us to know to follow her. We were lead to our tiny table that sits 4 inches off the ground when our reservation was for a high top. Mind you, the place was almost empty. Plenty of open tables. There was (what appeared to be a bouncer) standing about 3 ft from our table for about an hour. Our waitress was thankfully able to break away from her ONE other table about 30 minutes after we sat down and said, "doing okay?" No, Einstein; I'm not. We're parched! We get our drinks and food (BBQ sliders?) that expectedly came out without any sauce. Another 30 minutes goes by and by this time I'm so thirsty I'm sweating like a priest at a little league game. The one plus is that she said they would remake our sliders. The cooks in the back were gracious enough to cough up one drop of BBQ sauce per slider. The weirdest part is that there appeared to be about 4 managers working that night, standing by the back bar. There is no more to that comment. They literally just stood there, admiring the booming business of 14 people that were filling their pockets. This place blows. Would not recommend. If you want to eat crap food and bowl, buy yourself a Wii and make your own sliders. Good day.

Yelp
Some friends and I loved it. The food was exceptional, the service was superb and the atmosphere was phenomenal. This was the best dinner I had in a long time. I cant waot to return again again.

Yelp
This place is an adult hang out dream. Great for happy hour and late night. Happy hour is 4-6pm though I was unclear if this also included weekends. The entire menu of food is HALF OFF. So good! Have a full service bar, pool tables, four bowling lanes, live band and dance floor. This is kind of the perfect place to rent out for a party for adults after an event. Love the vibe of the place. And the food was fantastic. I went with a group of 14 on a Friday night. The place was barely packed at 7pm and wasn't cramped at all. Ordered their maple glazed salmon ($21). Came with baby romaine, tomatoes and bacon. Cooked to perfection, perfectly sweet. Would get again but wasn't a fan of the price. Also tried a side of their jalapeño cornbread ($6). Three squares of delicious cornbread that was perfectly gritty. My friend hated it, I loved it! It might not be for people who don't like the texture of cornbread. Also the jalapeños give it just a pinch of spicy taste but wasn't hot at all. 2 in my group tried the sliders and called it boring. Wasn't delicious, wasn't very tasty, basically just little burgers plain as can be. I wouldn't waste money on this unless you want to ply or completely safe and want something predictable and easy. Both wouldn't order it again. Shrimp + Andouille Gumbo ($12) was a surprise hit. It was kind of cold in the building and the warm flavourful gumbo warmed you up. Tasted better than expected. You can rent two lanes for $60 total. Didn't seem like there was a limit to how many could be in each lane. Wasn't a huge fan of service. They put a 20% gratuity on our bills for having more than 6 in our party- I kind of expected that. The place was by no means full, and everyone was walking to and from the bar to the live band to their seats while eating, totally casual. But the wait staff immediately came and cleared our tables when some of us hadn't finished our food. We brought our own cake for a birthday and someone tried to throw it away even though half of it was left and we said we wanted to take it home. We felt rushed from the dining area. Would definitely go again- but for happy hour. Loved the live music band and totally fun atmosphere, and while I liked the food- I don't expect great wait service.

Yelp
Bar inside the Statler Hotel on the main floor. It is also a restaurant and has three small bowling lanes. It is the biggest bar inside the hotel and has the most reasonably priced drinks. I went on a Thursday when it's ladies night, and all drinks were half off for women. There are large jenga and other games for groups to play. With this establishment being large in size it is great for groups and you won't feel crowded. Also, the food is pretty good for bar food. I ordered sliders and the four sliders were good in size and the taste was great. The buns were so warm and meat tender. It was the best $10 spent. This will be my new locations on a Thursday to grab drinks and have a good time.

Yelp
I really wanted to like Scout. I have been twice now, and it just doesn't do it for me. I guess the bowling, pool tables, and other games is a nice touch, but I just ate and drank in my two visits because I am lazy, and I was not impressed with the food, except for the butter fries. I am obsessed with those fries. My first visit, I got the steak. I told the server rare, and I received what I thought was higher temp than medium. I felt terrible about sending it back but I really did not want an almost well done steak. The server was gracious and took care of this for me and brought out a new steak that was much redder in the center than the first time, but it is a thin steak and I honestly think that they should communicate that it is not really reasonable to expect a truly rare steak, when someone tries to order it rare. Second visit, I steered clear of the steak and got the chicken sandwich. It was a decent sandwich and a big portion. I just don't think I would go out of my way to get this at Scout, although I did enjoy the butter fries very much. We also got the 7 layer dip as an appetizer and I did like that quite a bit. Maybe what I need to do is order apps and fries and have that be my meal.

Dipesh P.

Yelp
No idea why this place isn't rated higher. Great food, amazing games, and delicious drinks. They did recently get rid of the ridiculous happy hour (half off everything from 4-6) but that was inevitable. Came here with a friend on a random Monday and Peter took great care of us. The bowling lanes we were at had a couple of issues but he made sure they were resolved quickly. The wing platter is a good way to start and not too big so definitely worth adding to the list. The queso and chills were both surprisingly super tasty. The chili has a little kick and the chips are surprisingly super good. They have several games you can entertain yourself with including table tennis and pool.

Daniel A.

Yelp
What a let down. This place is a missed opportunity. Tonight, I took my team from work here bc it looked like a fun atmosphere with cool games, large bars, and food options. The service is going to put this place out of business. There were two people serving for the entire place. Appetizers took an hour to get to us. 45 minutes to get a drink. Because the service was so slow, we opted out of ordering dinner at all. Then instead of apologizing for their neglect and being woefully understaffed, they had the nerve to charge a 26% automatic gratuity. I would highly recommend finding an alternative restaurant in Dallas until Scout can staff appropriately.

Travis V.

Yelp
Reasonable prices with great service. The drinks were poured perfectly (a hair on the heavy side). Seemed like a lot of local people go here.

Natalie S.

Yelp
A very deserving 5 stars! I loved this place. First of all, the location being within the Statler hotel is interesting by itself. There are at least a couple of other coffee and eateries on the same floor. When you walk into Scout, you immediately see the huge bar with plenty of seating and, to the left, you'll see the ping pong tables and the bowling lanes. There are plenty of tables for large and small parties. The most interesting setups are all the lounge areas with cute couches and decorative tables. The service was great! We received lively suggestions on food and drinks. I had the Scout burger with probably the most amazing fries (comparable to Nick & Sam's which are the best in Dallas IMO.) We then moved onto the ping pong tables which was fun! There are seating areas around the games which gives a laid-back lounge feel. Also, when the weather gets a bit better, be prepared to live on the outdoor mezzanine/balcony area that is SO photoworthy. Perfect space for a cocktail hour or engagement party! Overall, I cannot wait to spend more time at Scout and exploring more of what the Statler has to offer. You won't be disappointed in the food, games and atmosphere of this new establishment!

Anna M.

Yelp
Looks like most, if not all, the reviews are regarding the food and service. My review is about the night show we went to see last night (Bastards of Soul). I already knew Scout was loaded with multiple side activities: the bowling alley, billiard tables, Foosball, and ping pong tables.... and most are fine, when there isn't a live band playing. The ping pong tables are set up at the stage, on the dance floor, partially in front of the stage. The tables need to be put up when there is live music. It's actually quite rude and disrespectful to the band and to the spectators. How is this conducive to enjoying good music and meeting other people? Picture trying to watch a band play, trying to dance to the band... and the ping pong balls are flying at you while you're sitting watching the band, or on the floor while you're dancing. The billiard tables are in the back, by the TV's, so I'm assuming whoever planned the space had at least some idea of how to separate the space.

April S.

Yelp
I hate to give a space a low rating, but my experience here was pretty bad. We were staying in the Statler and needed to grab some food around 1pm on a Sunday. We were handed a pretty small brunch menu and a menu with appetizers on it. No beer menu until we asked our waiter for one. As there is no brunch menu on their website, this was a bit of a surprise to both of us. I will say the space is really cute and you can tell this is a fun place to be at happy hour. Had our experience not gone sour, we were planning on staying for a round of bowling. However... As I had been hoping for lighter fare than brunch, I ordered the Fruit Parfait. Only to be told on a Saturday they were out of fruit. So, I ordered the pancakes as they came with a chili ancho syrup and a peach compote on top. My husband ordered a beer only to find out they'd been out of it for quite a while. He then ordered an appetizer plate (he didn't want breakfast and this was his only option) that included hummus, queso, and bean dip with some chips and pita slices. What we were delivered did not fit either description above. My husband's meal came with stale corn chips, not the in-house made chips promised in the menu. And there were no pita pieces. My pancakes came with a blob of butter and tiny pecan sprinkles. Not compote and the syrup was just plain. We sat for a while shocked as the Statler is a nice hotel and I would expect more from a restaurant inside it. Finally, my husband said something. We were offered more drinks, which we did not want. Then they offered some veggies and the pita bits to go with his meal. He accepted. Unfortunately, by the time they came out he had lost his appetite. He ate what he could and then we asked for the check. Don't get me wrong, our server was charming and friendly and I liked him. However, when we received the check, we were charged full price for everything. Why should I pay full price for pancakes that were priced including compote and syrup and didn't come with them? Honestly, I was most shocked the manager didn't come by and apologize because we had a pretty bad experience and typically that's the next step in handling it. As we were on vacation and had already complained (we are not complainers - it took a lot to get us there), we decided not to make a stink and just move on, but I really think a breakdown of some sort happened at Scout and we ended up experiencing the result. It's a shame because I was excited to check out the space and thought it could be fun.

Cheryl O.

Yelp
What a neat place. There's a bowling lane and several other activities there. We sat at the bar & service was great. The food was really good & I loved the causal fun atmosphere. We ordered the shrimp poboy & shrimp & grits w a side of butter fries. Very large portions & the prices were reasonable. Our friends ordered a burger (I didn't catch the name) & hummus which was delicious & again, it was very generous in the serving size. The drinks were ok. The Silver Fox was a little sweet but good. Old Fashioned was good but they served it with regular ice (I prefer a big cube/ball of ice as I drink those very slow). I would return if we were in the vicinity.

Cathy M.

Yelp
We had great service and the food quality was excellent. I stayed at the Statler Hotel for a business conference, and went to Scout one evening for some appetizers. I ordered the hummus platter and the ceviche. The hummus platter was big, and the vegetables were fresh and crispy -- really good! I also ordered the ceviche. It actually turned out to be shrimp ceviche vs. fish ceviche. Love shrimp ceviche (my favorite). It was the best shrimp ceviche I've ever had, next to Mexico. The freshness of the shrimp, mixture of onions, lime juice and tomatoes was excellent!!! Kudos to the chef!! I also had the food at lunchtime as part of my conference. There was a caprese salad, freshly grilled salmon, quinoa and risotto - all were excellent. I would definitely recommend.

Tim K.

Yelp
Completely screwed up our food order. Horrible service. The entertainer/ host blasted Christians using the f word. He went on to tell everyone in the restaurant that if we didn't like the music, just f you and leave. There is no way a single employee there graduated junior high. Disgusting place. If anyone stays at the Statler and goes to Scout and hears this garbage, please know these idiots do not represent Texas or real Texans. Never again!!!

Ben W.

Yelp
Very cool bar and restaurant. This has become a popular hot spot inside the Statler hotel. There is foosball, ping pong and TVs to watch games. Topping off the game theme is a multi-lane bowling alley. I've had the chicken sandwich and slider burgers are separate visits, which are both good. Get the butter fries as a side!

Niki R.

Yelp
Poor customer service at bar, (for black people) really sucks that people are still racist and stereotypical. Sat down for ten mins, not even that busy, even yell "Hey" twice. So many people being served before me. Come on Dallas TX Johnathan, Abby on shift.

Gonzalo H.

Yelp
Everything that could possibly went wrong, did. I booked this reservation FOR 18 PEOPLE 3 weeks in advance for my birthday so this was no surprise. I got there right on time and everything was ready. When I asked the waiter (who was very nice) if someone would help him (again, we were 18) he said "no, it's just me, I can handle it". We ordered our food and only one entree came out after 15min. I asked the waiter if everything else was coming and his surprising response was "it might be a bit, the food is not coming all at once because people ordered from different parts of the menu(???)". I thought he was being funny but he was not. When they food came out 20min later, some orders were wrong, some were not cooked as asked (steak was medium rare vs well done that we had ordered) and some were burned (even lettuce of cesar salad was a little burned. I looked for a manager (Peter), talked to him and he said he'll help. Nothing was better, besides that they gave us a few bottles of a cheap $5 champagne, nice gesture but clear sign that they've messed up. It's unacceptable that a big reservation made 3 weeks in advance cannot be handled like it should. Definitely not coming back.

Alexandra S.

Yelp
Since the Statler reopening my husband and I have been talking about checking out the bar. The Scout has a nice patio, comfortable with large white sofas and a nice water sculpture. My husband ordered and old fashioned and I tried Silver Fox cocktail- delicious. We also tried the shareable plates - smoked ham & sunchoke dip - yum! And the Texas Red Chili beer battered onions and jalapeño corn bread. The Devils on horseback stuffed dates sound delicious...next time Everyone around the bar looks festive in their St Patty's green.

Barry G.

Yelp
Stopped in here for a bite before a concert at the Majestic Theater. Sat down at the bar and ordered a patty melt and their blue cheese and pecan slaw. The patty melt took 40 minutes and it took until the end of that 40 minutes for them to tell me that they were out if slaw, at which time they decided to substitute fries, which took another few minutes. Terrible service.

Jim S.

Yelp
Visiting Scout for the first time, I noticed all the original wonderful touches from original building. But my service was unbelievably exceptional from a young fellow named Tre. I'm in the service of caring for very high net worth individuals and he would be stolen from you in a minute if I had a spot for him. The place was inviting and the cocktails refreshing. Thank you very much!

Anthony B.

Yelp
It has all the makings of a cool place to hang out. Too bad the service is pretty bad. The waitstaff is slow. Really slow. If you're going to charge me a premium price for my drinks, at least get the service in check so I can get drinks in a timely manner. After my second drink, I just started going to the bar instead. The place wasn't even crowded either, so I'm not exactly sure why the service was crawling.

Steffannie B.

Yelp
Service here was horrible , we went to go bowling and we literally was there for more than an hour and the balls wouldn't even come back , and the food took more than hour to get as well, it's was just a horrible experience and I wouldn't recommend it especially because of customer service at all, the music was horrible , it was super boring and they can't even play hip hop like what's wrong with hip hop?! they definitely need to get their stuff together especially management

Justin M.

Yelp
The food was good but the service could have been better. I ordered coffee an SMG waiter said he wasn't for sure if they still served it. Meanwhile he started helping all over the place but never came back. I tracked down another waiter and he got my coffee in no time. They first waiter came back and asked us how we were and I told him I told him that I asked another waiter for the coffee. He began to explain how he doesn't know how to work the machine blah blah. So his excuse for not getting it was that he didn't know how instead of asking for help. Ridiculous!

Yelp
Went to soft opening. Food was great. I had the stroganoff which was yummy. Beef was tender and flavorful. Pecan tort was delicious. Great margaritas.

Yelp
Came here with a group to bowl on Saturday, 9/4/2021. My friend paid for bowling at the bar right next to the bowling alley as soon as they told us the lane was open. I went to the larger bar to buy a round of beers and the bartender asked if I was bowling. I thought she asked so she could bring our drinks over or start a tab so I confirm I'm sitting at the bowling alley. She brings me two receipts to sign one at a time. One was for bowling and the other the drinks but I had no idea. No itemized receipts were provided. Mind you, I had a couple of drinks before we got there so I signed both without really asking any questions. My boyfriend caught it right away and reminded me our friend had already paid for bowling. He walked back to the bar and initiated a refund. It was his turn to bowl so we switched places and I went to the bar. The bartender just ignored me and motioned that I should go back to my seat and said it was taken care of. No refund receipt was provided. The next day the charge clears and I try calling them 4x but the number is forwarded to a cell phone with no voicemail option. I initiated a credit card dispute so hopefully that will resolve this whole debacle. The dollars that were double charged are not a huge amount of money but the fact that this place was so disorganized and would not process a refund is frustrating, not to mention no one answers their phone. If you go here, just be careful and ask for itemized receipts...

Yelp
Excellent service! We had several items including the Fried Chicken Bucket, Honey Glazed Lamb Ribs (extremely tender), the Devils on Horseback and the Slider Flight. All were delicious but the portions were modest and the prices were not....

Yelp
Went here with some colleagues for a happy hour conversation. Nice ambiance despite being a bit noisy but that was to be expected. But importantly, they had great snack plates! I had the ribs and beans plate. The ribs were tender and juicy...and that sauce!!!! The beans where ok but that sauce on those bones!!! The tequila was good...and my colleagues' plates looked good too. Attentive waitstaff and prompt service. Oh, and that sauce!! A great Downtown find at the Statler...who knew? So, will head there again, maybe this afternoon.

Yelp
They need to update that their bowling is not available. Bowlers don't waste your time.

Yelp
I went in on a Thursday night a few weeks ago around into Scout for the first time. I had previously been to the rooftop bar at The Statler. I always Uber/ Lyft there as the wait for vallet on the way out is always long. Scout was not very busy and we were promtpy sat. However, it took a long time for our waitress to come over and greet us. From that point on the service was slow. We had drinks and ordered some food. The got the Scout Burger which was very average. My request for a side of mayo was not brought out with my oder, I had to remind the wait staff. In the end we waited a long time for our check which we got after we finaly flagged down our waitress. The one bonus was that it was Ladies night and our first drinks were discounted. I may go back for a drink, but will not be returning there to eat at night.

Yelp
I love this place. 1. Bowling alley. 2. Ping pong tables. 3. Foosball table. 4. Nice decor. 5. Good atmosphere. 6. Good food. One time I saw Jack White here. This is a good place to go out and have fun. It is also a good place to take your laptop and get work done.

Yelp
I dined here last night. This place is amazing. It was loud and hard to talk but the food was really worth the volume level. There were several parties happening because of the holidays so I did wait for a bit for my burger but a man who I can only assume was the manager came and apologized for the long time. Also they have bowling here which i did not do but i watched several kids attempt it. Good times.

Yelp
Food was great! Customer service was awesome. Bret Michael took care of us this evening. We were in a hurry and he made sure that our food was good to go and was quick with the drinks! I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Staff did great with reopening with all the restrictions, took the safety stuff in stride. Thanks for being so welcoming, we had a great time out.

Yelp
I'm giving four stars for the food and concept, which were worth the trip. The customer experience was overbearing- I felt like we were occupying a table they desperately needed. The place was nearly empty at 6pm on a Saturday. We were dining early before theatre tickets and chose Scout as it was easy walking distance to The Majestic. Made reservations even though it's a sports bar! The reservation system sent no less than six annoying reminders AFTER the prerequisite confirmation text. The waiter mirrored that peskiness by repeatedly asking for our orders in two minute intervals when we clearly wanted to order drinks, order appetizers, then look at the menu before ordering dinner. Aside from insensitive timing, service was very good. Be aware that the bar is loud. The sports game is at high volume. Conversation was difficult. Worth a visit. It would probably be a fun place to catch a game with friends, but I think the target demographic is 20-something's instead of people with disposable income. Weird.
