We Compared Classic Frozen Foods With Their Updated, Fancier Versions | Eater

"A heftier frozen stromboli with a garlic-butter–brushed crust, melty cheese, and thick slabs of pepperoni that add salt and heat; despite some crust-to-filling ratio issues and gaps, its flavor and buttery crust make it the preferred choice over a conventional pepperoni-and-cheese pocket." - Kat Thompson

The pizzas are delicious IF you get a good one. Lately I have to add toppings because there's so little. Even tried getting the double sausage and very very disappointed. Sausage and pepperoni pizza, toppings all on one side and maybe 7 tiny pieces of sausage. Better off throwing ingredients in a box and calling it build your own since you always have to rearrange what little is there. They have gone down hill recently.

My favorite just disappointed me! I bought a supreme brought it home and put in the freezer. Took it out of the packaging to cook tonight and its missing the pepperoni!! What a disappointment. This was my favorite pizza. :-( I want to add a photo but its not allowing me to. I've been noticing allot of negative reviews lately. Did they sell out or lose good help? Why are toppings lacking?

Best frozen pizza ever! Looks line a tombstone, but tastes much more like pizza made from scratch. Good, flavorful sauce, and plenty of it on the pie. More saucy than any. The veggies taste fresh. The cheese and neat is not overly processed. Great job on a frozen slice!

A company that doesn’t stand behind their product and refuses to compensate within customer support. The seals they use on their pizzas are prone to breaking apart, creating a fishy taste. They asked for me to take photos to which I did, and never ended up responding.

I have issues with dairy and nearly every pizza I eat even with lactose pills doubles me over with stomach pain and I am stuck on the commode. But these pizza have cheese that has never made me sick. The better the mozzarella the less lactose it will contain. I have even forgot to take my dairy pills on the first bite and still haven't been sick. The pizzas come with plenty of toppings and are always great. Not the cheapest pizza on the shelf, but knocks every other pizza out of the park. For the record after reading other reviewers I have only bought the pepperoni and it has been perfect every time. Cooked straight on the rack and cooled on a cooling rack.

This is my first time buying this brand. I read reviews before baking it. I added a generous amount of salt and browned the cheese for more flavor. The crust is very tender and the sauce is pretty flavorful. I ended up paying $9 for this pizza. Unfortunately we live in a world where our food is overloaded in sodium. My taste buds were left disappointed by the cheese which had no flavor in my opinion. On the other hand this could be a great option for someone choosing to lower sodium intake in their diet.

Had the "I'm Thin & Crispy" pepperoni this weekend. It was fantastic & I'm not usually a thin crust girl... Highly recommend 👌

I bought one of their pepperoni pizzas and made it for me and my 3 year old. It turned out the pepperoni was very spicy and it made her sick. And the poor thing was miserable 😥 I assumed I must've made a mistake but after checking the package, they don't bother to even mention ONCE, let alone clearly state, that the pizza contains very spicy ingredients. Which is frankly ridiculous considering EVERY OTHER COMPETITOR does make that clear on their frozen pizza packaging. If Screamin' Sicilian Pizza is this careless, it makes me question what else they may be missing....

Yelp
Do you have an emergency pizza in your freezer? I'm a pizza aficionado and I have two privately owned joints near me that make my excellent fresh pies. However, if it's 2am Sunday night they can't help me. That's why you need an emergency frozen pizza! I kept seeing these fine folks in frozen pizza reviews on the internet and thought I'd give them a try. I'm glad I did! Availability & Pricing- In my area there are three major grocery stores, and they are in all three. I purchased mine from Walmart. For this review I choose the "Mother of Meat!" because I am a serious carnivore. It set me back $6.97. This is on the high end of the frozen pizza world, at least in my area. Photos- I gave you three. The crazy distinctive box. The pie in its frozen state. The final cooked result. Cooking- I used a non-stick pizza pan and followed the temp and time directions on the box. I checked it at the minimum time and I'm sure glad I did as it was done. Your results may vary but be warned! Taste- This is going to be my new emergency pizza. There is a decent amount of savory meat. Not as much as I would get on my fresh pie, but I didn't expect that! The sauce is middle-of-the-road for spiciness, at least for me. The crust is medium thick and crispy which I realize is the decision point for many buyers. I liked it. Conclusion- If you like a crispy crust, I suggest you try one of these!

Yelp
I picked up a screaming Sicilian pizza from my local Kroger to give it a shot. I got the double pepperoni extra Sicilian pepperoni. I have been wanting to try essentially every pizza in the world frozen fresh local chain whatever. So that is my quest to just try any different ones that I can. Base this on frozen pizza reviews only. So for this screaming Sicilian the price was about seven dollars and some change which is a little high for frozen pizza the taste was pretty darn good cheese and pepperoni good combination together across for some reason just never could really get a good firm crust it was always kind of flaky which is why I'm going to knock this down from 4 to 3. I mean overall pretty good pie I would say go ahead and give it a shot if you've never had it or you like it. But I would prefer other cheaper options over it.

Yelp
Perfect size for two adults and 17 minutes in the oven and dinner is ready. A tasty treat indeed.
