Fun, family-friendly Hill Country spot with a unique twist 🐐🍻
We had such a great time here with my daughters! The staff was incredibly polite and patient, which made the experience smooth and enjoyable — especially since I brought my 3-year-old (who is autistic) and my 1-year-old. It felt like a welcoming space for families, and that means a lot.
The setup is spacious with lots of outdoor seating — picnic tables, Adirondack chairs around fire pits, and plenty of shade from big oak trees. Huge fans are placed throughout the yard, which helps a lot on warm Texas afternoons. Parking is open and plentiful.
One of the biggest highlights is, of course, the goats! They’re in a fenced-in pen that kids can safely enjoy watching up close. Just a heads-up for parents: while the goats are enclosed, the rest of the yard is not, so you’ll want to keep an eye on little ones at all times.
It’s not just a daytime spot, either — at night the place comes alive with a fun social vibe. There are bars inside and two outdoor bars that open up after dark, making it just as perfect for hanging out with friends or date nights as it is for family afternoons.
Accessibility-wise: the main entrance has a small step up, so I’m not sure how easy it is for wheelchairs. Also, most of the outdoor area is loose gravel, which can be tricky for strollers or mobility devices.
Overall, this place nails the combination of great atmosphere, family-friendliness, and Hill Country charm — with a bonus nightlife side. Perfect for a casual afternoon with kids or an evening drink with friends. Definitely recommend!
