Open atmosphere. Dog friendly. Just great food. Monday-Friday they have a $14 lunch special thats awesome. I just keep going back. Lots of beers on Tap including limited edition brews made in house. The beer menu changes every week. Their pizza is also great.

Finally made the trek to PB for an epic watch party. Surprisingly fun sports bar that offers up great eats and refreshing drinks. With a wide variety of beers on tap, the bartenders keep it flowing all day long, especially during game days. The servers provide excellent service! Dina helped me out and was always checking in on me and my friend. Mich appreciated. With a good amount of big screen TVs, raffles and shota after each score, it's definitely a fun time. Respectful crowd, family and pet friendly, the only thing missing is parking! I don't knock them for it since it's not their fault. There is tons of parking available but beware as you do have to pay the meters on Sundays now starting at 10am... Not a big problem, I just hopped down to another meter once my time was up, which just happened to be halftime. I'll be back again for sure. Thanks for a memorable day! Go Lions!

Taproom absolutely knocked it out of the park! If you’re a wing lover, this place is a must. The wings were perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the flavor options are incredible. But the real star of the show is the **Truffalo wings** It’s the perfect blend of rich truffle flavor with that classic buffalo kick. It’s seriously one of the best wing sauces I’ve ever had. Great atmosphere, awesome service, and food that keeps you thinking about your next visit before you’ve even finished your meal. If you’re debating what to order, trust me… get the wings and make them Truffalo. You won’t regret it!

The food was amazing, our server, Brian was the best and we came back a second time on our vacation bc of it. Second time, the waitress was ok and the wings were cold but we still loved the ambiance.

7/29/25. This review is strictly about their pizza. We ordered two large pies. One veggie and one cheese. The crust was good, however the pie itself was dry. Could have used little more sauce and cheese. I guess for a pub pie it was edible.

Great food and a great atmosphere to watch games! It’s always a good crowd in here. This time, I had a pizza, but I’ve also been here for brunch and it’s good as well.

This is a great brew pub with a big open layout. Tons of bar seating from the huge oddly shaped bar. Lots of booth and table seating. The Philly cheese steak was KILLER! One of the best I've ever had. It was gigantic, the bread was perfect, the meat tender, cheese melty. And my IPA was super good as well. The bartender was nice and you could tell she knew her way around the bar. The combination of perfect food and perfect beer make me want to come back.

We came for Brunch in the beer garden with our dog this past Saturday morning. The unlimited mimosas are amazing. Our server was able to fit us in despite being full with reservations, and she really was the best! She was in charge of the whole area, including some very large tables, yet she was still attentive and got around to us frequently. Highly recommend a stop here if you are in Pacific Beach area.

Nice spot half way up Garnet. A welcomed more layback vibe than a lot of the surrounding bars/restaurants. I love the pizza here, pretty large sizes for the price. The beer list is the best part, they always have a strong selection of Russian River beers on tap and a large variety of really everything.

I asked for no aioli, additional bacon on my sanwdich, and no cheese on my chicken tortilla soup. Not only did the sandwich come with aoli, but there was no bacon. And there was cheese on the soup. Mistakes happen, no ones perfect, but to go 0 for 3 on the order modifications? Yikes.

It's very disappointing trying to find a bar that serves beers other than IPAs. This bar has a few listed, but they are out of most and have subbed in other beers. Asked for a ref or amber - no. OK, a pilsner please. So bartender recommended a Damnation - yuck. I'm asking for lagers or pilsners and he gives me a 7.8% "golden" Belgian - banana and pear, blah blah. Yuck. Bummer

Great beer and solid grub! Also a decent place to watch some football on Sundays! See you there? Stopped by twice over the past week, and I'll probably be back on Thursday. I'm currently loving the award winning PB Haze. It's a delicious, bright, slightly fruity, IPA that's perfect for Sunday football. Tossed back 3 of these ~7% ers and was feeling great. Jeff and Kayla took care of my needs, but the restaurant did appear a bit understaffed, as it took a little bit to get a beer. On the second trip, it was more PB Haze, followed by some tenders and truffle fries. While I thoroughly enjoyed the "real chicken" tenders, beautifully coated in panko bread crumbs, and the battered fries, it was the garlic aioli that stole the show. If I'm just ordering fries, I'd definitely get them with extra garlic aioli. Look at those beautiful chunks of what I'm almost certain was roasted garlic. Yummmbo! Oh, and don't forget your Pint Life Passport for that free beer! I'll be back. Thanks to the cast and crew!

Great Service, Cold beer, Delicious burger, and fries were soooooo good. This a Detroit Lions bar, great place to watch games. The place is really loud and busy but service is on point... never an empty cup and food comes out super quick. Can't wait to watch the Lions on Monday Night from the Taproom!!!

One of my favorite pizzas in PB. Every time I get the goat cheese pizza everyone absolutely RAVES about it. Overall solid bar food- love the pretzel, burgers and wings. Good beer options and solid brunch on the weekends. Love coming here to watch the game

Was meeting a friend here after watching some football a block away and I happened to walk to the new meet up spot for the Detroit Lions. They use to meet at The Dog nearby but now meet here! It was super cool to see this piñata event happening where you can buy a raffle ticket to hopefully hit at the piñata filled with candy, alcohol and even gift cards. I got lucky and got a $25 gift card for the pizza spot and then one liquor shot. Inside I did have a beer and it was pretty fresh from the tap. I'd surely check it out and just be warned that it is a lions bar so it can be pack when they play. :)

My friends and I trekked out to SD TapRoom at the suggestion of a bartender at Bare Back Grill. On the map, it didn't look that far, but walking to it said otherwise! There weren't a ton of breweries we could walk to as a group between Bare Back (close to our vrbo) and SD TapRoom, so we made it our first stop in the night. We arrived at the tail end of dinner and rush hour so there wasn't a wait to get sat. SD definitely has an extensive list (mainly their own), with lots of award-winning options. It was like a kid at Christmas! What sets them apart based on my history with breweries are their flights. Holy moly. 5 oz pours a piece?! I got in over my head ordering 6 of them. I definitely did not have capacity to finish them all.. but also a couple weren't exactly what I was hoping them to be. All of us ordered flights of varying combinations. Winners (for me) - Bee The Buzz, Citra Starburst, Double Strawberry Cheesecake. Non-winners - Woods Strong Ale.. it definitely is strong! Got some mixed vibes from the staff. Not sure if it was because it was towards the end of the night or they genuinely just did not want to talk shop. One of them was super nice and we talked shop a bit, which made the end of our visit pleasant. Definitely worthwhile to come back next time and try more brews, maybe a meal and watch football (cue the Detroit Lions gear all over the bar).

Great happy hour specials. Food-we got Brussel sprouts and a pizza. Brussels was so tasty, pizza was good too however the veggies on the goat cheese pizza could be sautéed or cooked down more. We def took leftovers! Drinks-we got brut and kombucha. Both tasty and nice size pours. Service- shoutout to Kelly who took great care of us. There was young and older couples, families, and friends gathering. Nice crowd.

My husband had this spot saved for a long time. So he spontaneously decided to go and try the food. We were so not disappointed! Service was excellent, food was delicious! And decor was just right! Beer was obviously as good as he thought. I don't really drink anymore but I did like the beer here. It's so good we are definitely coming back soon. Btw the cookies are to die for!

My friends and I came for trivia night and it was super fun! I wasn't a fan of the POG Slammer drink but food was good and I especially liked the truffle fries. We were checked in on regularly to make sure we had everything we needed.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon with a large party for bottomless mimosas. The back patio was really nice and quaint. Service was friendly but it seemed like they were understaffed. Prices were fair for mimosas and breakfast. We ordered the Hangover Hash and chilaquiles and they were both pretty good. Although not the best, the cheese and salsa on the side helped with the richness of the overall plates. I liked that champagne bottles were brought to the table and different juices were available to make your own mimosas. The orange juice was even dyed green for St. Paddy's Day. Overall, good experience and would come again!

Nope this is a bar grind had a retirement party here . No hard alcohol and the wine selection is non existent lol service was good

My friends and I came here for trivia night and it was so much fun! We had no idea what to expect but it lasted almost 2 hours. Gave us plenty of time to chit chat, eat and drink in between rounds. Our waiter was also great. He knew how to read the room and attend to us when we needed! The menu had plenty of options to choose from and everything everyone got looked great. I will definitely come back!

We were in search for drinks, good food, and football on a Sundays morning and SD Taproom did not disappoint. They had a wide variety of beers with descriptions that made us excited to try every drink! The cold brew mudslide had 15% alcohol and it was phenomenal. I want to come back for that drink everytime i'm in SD. The truffalo wings were described to us as a garlic buffalo Parmesan and they were so bomb HIGHLY recommend this place if you love beer. ALSO dog friendly so you can't get better vibes than this.

Great service and great food Can't go wrong ! We will be back for some more grub . Highly recommend the kambuch raspberry with pear . So tasty !!! The sprouts were nice and tender along with the wings and turkey melt

Love this place! We're visiting SD and love dark beers. They had a good selection. We also enjoyed their chicken BBQ pizza (hot & flavorful) and chips & guacamole. Atmosphere was vibrant and busy. Service good.

Heavily biased as the Washington State University Cougars Football games play here and the alumni association meets here. Therefore it is nothing short of perfection and could not be considered anything else. Do not even think of saying anything against it, even if the wings are a bit dry, the staff is sometimes short handed, and things aren't always up to par. THEY ARE TRYING THEIR BEST. GO COUGS!

I love this place; lunch, dinner or even just a beer! My absolute favorite is their chicken tortilla soup, but the grilled cheese is taste bud and mind blowing as well! My boyfriend loves the lobster Mac and cheese, and beer soakers for me are also a must. Truthfully, you can order just about anything off the menu and it will be tasty! Great, unique and wide variety of beers on tap- no hard alcohol- but you have so many options who cares!

I placed a pizza order through their website. When I showed up to pick it up, I was told they did not have it because my "door dash order had been picked up 15 minutes ago." Mind you, I had tipped them 10% for an online order. He repeated the same thing three times, and looked annoyed. I asked him if I was not going to get my order. He asked me to show proof of my order and payment. After I showed the order's receipt to two staff members, they told me I had to wait for 15 minutes for them to make it. Then they decided instead to give me a cold pizza as an "upgrade." Moral of the story, do not tip ahead again for a to go order, or do not tip at all for the service I never got. And for the staff, do not whine and complain when customers do not tip-- thank your rude co-workers.

Hot spot!! MUST get the Truffalo wings - they are hands down the best wings I have ever had in my life! I'm a huge sauce/ranch lover, but these didn't even need the ranch, that's how good they were. Pizzas and beer were also great! Cool vibe inside and they have fun merchandise too! Beer and service were great, and the location is perfect - you can walk around PB after. Definitely a must-visit spot!

Long overdue review. Love this place. I've lived in PB for 28 years and watched this location go through so many restaurants/ finally tap room came and thankfully it stuck. This place is great. We rarely have a wait even in Friday or Saturday nights, the staff is always friendly, the food is great, beer selection is awesome. I get the Cobb salad every time and it's legit the best Cobb salad in San Diego'. The ranch dressing is something else and I would buy it in bulk if they'd bottle it up and sell it to me . My kids get the cheese pizza which is easy and my husband alternates between a few favs. We moved to santee a few years ago but still make it a point to come to tap room every month bc it's just one of the restaurants that's easy to love- reliable, tasty, appropriately priced, cool atmosphere without being too much. And they always make sure to give us the booth in the back even with only 10 minutes notice. We love this place and happy to see they opened another location. Wish you guys all the best! Definitely a local favorite! Best chicken tortilla soup in town. The guacamole is a favorite, just like I make at home. The service is great, always friendly and quick with orders. They have a huge beer selection and it's a fun place to pop into or watch a game.

Not only is there food Top Notch, their staff is legit! I went in last night and after dinner I left my wallet there. Brian from their team was literally able to find me on Facebook & message me before I even got to the end of Mission! Needless to say I'm very appreciative and Brian is a stud, but on top of this... it's already been my GO-TO for food when I'm down there! Everything is good, but their pizza is my absolute FAVORITE Thanks again for looking out and providing awesome food in a friendly environment! I appreciate it as I'm sure others do too!

Can't mention how wonderful this place is! It's definitely going to be added on my places top go back to. The ambiance, staff and food were amazing! The doggos got so much love from the customers and took a great nap as well. The food hit the spot after a day at the beach

We stopped in for a drink and appetizer and loved everything and ate too much! My husband had the BBQ wings and raved about them. I had the Mac and Cheese and loved it also. I was only going to eat a couple of bites and ended up eating all of it because it was so good. The atmosphere was a little loud but it gave the sense of people enjoying themselves and it was a happy vibe. Our waiter, Brian, was amazing. Greeted us the moment we sat down, gave us the rundown of what is good and his favorites and he steered us right! Very attentive and quick to refill water. He was friendly and it added to the atmosphere and a added to the quality of the date. We are from Albuquerque but visit often and will definitely be back!

I've heard good things about SD Taproom so I had to check it out. I ordered the Truffalo wings (very good) and the best truffle fries I have ever eaten in my life! I will definitely be back. Service was good, but when they are packed expect to wait. They also have trivia sometimes throughout the week. So fun!

Found my new local beer restaurant to frequent! I've lived in PB for 3 years and never tried SD Taproom because I'm never craving bar food and I don't like beer. However I've heard good things about the food and finally gave it a try and it did not disappoint. It's a good spot for beer and hanging out with friends with good food. We got the truffalo buffalo wings which were moist and fall off the bone wings, the truffle fries were crispy and delicious and the mushroom burger could have used a bit more salt but good too. I would def come back to hang out in the area! Also our server was nice and super upbeat as well. Good people!

Made it just in time for happy hour. I had the bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers. I was expecting something small and basic but these were hand made, fresh and full of flavor. A great selection of beers. I am not an IPA dude and there were a lot of them but I managed to find stuff I liked. Friendly bar staff without being in your face.

Went for a Friday night dinner and it did not disappoint. Food was amazing and came out pretty quick. They have a widely ranged food menu as well as drink menu. They have plenty of different beers to choose from! Our server was kind and attentive. Great place to meet up with friends and/or family dinner! Would def recommend checking out if in the area.

Good wings and fries. Definitely hits late at night with a beer. Came on a Tuesday and they had a $5 wings and beer special! We got the spicy mustard, Buffalo and truffalo (truffle + Buffalo). I liked the truffalo most. the Buffalo was not too spicy, more vinegar-y if anything. I liked the spicy mustard but it was strong. They're not shy with their ranch. Truffle fries were fried to perfection. Beer menu is pretty diverse. Service is quick and responsive. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely come back to try other menu items.

In the old days when I ate in Pacific Beach it was usually at Tony Roma's or Bare Back Grill.  Tony Roma's has been gone for years and now there are lots more choices.  I was in the mood for a burger and gave San Diego Taproom a try. American Kobe Beef Burger was ordered medium and the beef was tender and juicy.  Lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp.  I liked how the tender beef was lightly seasoned and had a bit of char.  Bacon had a vibrant savory flavor.  Great tasting burger.  Fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside.  Loved the flavor and texture. 2nd visit I tried the American Kobe Beef Burger and paid extra for the sweet potato fries.  Burger was juicy and full of delicious flavor just like last time.  Sweet potato fries had a thin crunchy layer while the inside was fluffy and full of sweet potato flavor.  Great tasting fries.  I visited on Monday when they have a $3 off special. Staff was nice and brought my food out promptly.  San Diego Taproom is a nice place to have a burger and watch the world go by.

I stopped going there to many dogs in the dinning room, I confronted the bartender he said we'll behaved dogs were welcome. Health code violation for sure, I love the way the paying customer that wants to enjoy food without taking allergy pills is not acceptable

Wow! The best Caesar wrap, but not just any Caesar wrap; this wrap packs steak. Yes, Caesar wrap with steak is just out of this world.

I came here on a Saturday night and was instantly seated with two other friends. Our server quickly came up and greeted us upon arriving. I ordered the chicken tenders with a side Caesar salad and my friends got the tacos which were huge. Overall, I feel like it's pretty solid place, I love that breweries always have so much variety in their menu. I would say taproom is a solid option when you're with a group of people and don't wanna break the bank.

Let's GO LIONS! $10 unlimited mimosas are the devil and pizza is the shizznit! Plenty of TVs and hella beers!

The service was very good and they allow dogs. The vibe was nice with the doors all open it felt like being outside even though we sat inside. Fitting for by the beach. I got a hard kombucha which was great. They have a lot of drink options even if you don't like beer. For food I got the burger with sweet potato fries and we shared a pretzel and chips and guac. Overall the food was alright. It was good for a big party and overall good experience.

SD TapRoom is our favorite Sunday brunch spot. The service and food are great. It's casual and very dog friendly. Good for larger groups to just me and my husband and two dogs.

Love this place! This is the Pacific Beach location and the vibe at this brewery is on fire! Everyone is nice and attentive! The jalapeño poppers are a must order! They come with an order of 6, cut in half and filled with cheddar cheese wrapped with a thick piece of bacon. They are my favorite!

always great service, best food in pacific beach and the staff makes it feel like you're right at home. The wings are the BEST! Jamie is our favorite server, always accommodating our large tables with kids and elevating our experience.

Came for happy hour and the waiter was nice enough to let us slide in our last order for happy hour discounts. The wings were so good. My favorite app for sure, then we did guac and beer battered bread which was also good. But go for the wings ! This was the perfect low key spot for me to catch up with my cousin and enjoy a few beers and laugh the night away. Great beer options here too.

Service 10/10. Vibe 10/10. Drinks 9/10 (their drinks are all amazing overall, I'm just docking 1 pt for not having a liquor license and I don't like the cocktails made with soju/liquer) Beer soakers, chicken tortilla soup, wings, and BURGERS - 10/10. I've tried out almost the entire menu and it's all either good or decent, but I don't really order anything else other than these top 4 items to be honest. I used to be the trivia host here and they always welcomed me and made me feel special. Now that I'm no longer the regular trivia host, I STILL feel special and welcomed. Turns out, that's their specialty and others feel the same way -Keep it up Taproom! Extra shoutout to employees craig, sara, jeff, pat, ben, and claire! they always make me smile when I'm in there.
