Sea Bar

We celebrated a special occasion at Sea Bar tonight. Food is very fresh and yummy. We tried 2 specials: grilled apple salad and the surf and turf pasta. They were so good that my daughter who doesn’t like lobster ate it! The Branzino is my go-to-dish, perfectly grilled, fresh and tasty. Staff are very attentive and friendly. I love seeing them supporting each other. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Interior design is so aesthetically pretty and provides a wonderful and elegant dining experience! The service provided by Behrouz was attentive, friendly, and warm, which definitely helped enhance the dining experience! Now onto the main topic, the food: This is by far one of the better middle eastern/seafood restaurant in all of Staten Island! The appetizers that were amazing were the chargrilled octopus, which is a MUST-GET, and the half dozen oysters which was by far one of the sweetest oysters we ever had (it was so good we ordered 3 orders!) The tuna tartare, calamari, and lobster bisque were all decent but nothing too special. For entree, the lobster pasta was perhaps one of the best tomato based pasta I ever had! Although the amount of lobster in the dish was on the smaller amount for its price, the flavor was so savory, sweet, and perfectly tangy, highly recommend it! The sea bass was good according to my family, but the flavor was on the milder side in my opinion; they liked it nonetheless so perhaps it's just a personal preference at this point. The lamb shank I would not get due to how overpowering it was; the sauce was salty and intense, where it overwhelmed every part of the dish. It was unfortunate because the lamb was so tender and had a nice proportion between its meatiness and its fat content. The dry aged steak was only okay too, since the spinach was so watery it soaked the steak in its liquid (as you can see from the photo), which detracted from the dish unfortunately. Overall it was a decent dining experience, where some were amazing and others were less so. It's a pricey dining experience but if you get all the right dishes, it's worth the price tag! Definitely recommend giving Sea Bar a try and I can't wait to come back again one day to give them the five stars I know they can definitely accomplish! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

You're treated like family as soon as you walk into Sea Bar. The hostess and waitress were very friendly. Our waitress really took the time to explain certain things. The food is delicious. The tzatziki was outstanding. That alone would make me come back. For dessert, the bougatsa is a must. I'm looking forward to returning and trying different things. Would recommend to friend!

Came here for an anniversary dinner and the service was incredible! Behrouz is so attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back just to see him again! Even walked us out and held the door for us. Food was amazing too. We had the apple spice aperol spritz and coconut pineapple margarita - both were very good! The lobster bisque (served as half portions) and seafood over linguine special for 2 were good as well. We will definitely be back! Maybe for a weekend brunch :)

Had an incredible dinner here! The food was extremely fresh and the attention to detail and the plating of each dish was amazing! We started off with a Tableside Lobster Bisque that was delicious. I also loved the Veggie Chips, they were thin and crispy and the Tzatziki was so good! Make sure you try the Sea Bass here! It is so fresh and cooked to perfection! I also enjoyed the pasta dishes here, the sauces were very tasty and huge portions! Make sure you save room for dessert because the Bougatsa was sooooo good! It came right out of the oven nice and warm! Overall a wonderful meal and I will be back soon!

Having such an amazing dining experience at Sea Bar that i’m writing this review at the table. The owner, Michael, is not only incredibly sweet but also a fantastic chef. The seafood was exceptionally fresh, and I love the Greek influence in the dishes. The hummus and various dips, especially the almond garlic spread, were outstanding. The decor of the restaurant is clean, beautiful, and modern, creating a tasteful ambiance that enhances the overall experience. The lobster pasta was packed with flavor and truly memorable. I highly recommend Sea Bar to anyone looking for delicious seafood in a lovely setting.

Went with a friend closer toward end of 24. She ordered Fish, Very Dry.. I ordered Steak which I had asked to be medium rare. First time around it was raw… Second time around it was very tough. Uneatable.. was still charged for the whole meal.. Presentation was sloppy.. NOTHING Memorable. They have put a bad taste in my mouth.. no interest in ever going back. Google wouldn’t let me post w/o giving them a star. 0 Stars.. See attached

What an amazing restaurant! Hubby and I went for an unplanned lunch date today and we are so happy we did! The food outstanding, ambiance beautiful, and the service was amazing. The food was so fresh and flavorful! And the drinks were delicious as well! We can not wait to go back. We chatted with Mike the owner who is so passionate and it shows! Highly recommend this amazing restaurant.

I cannot say enough about the staff here, they are absolutely fantastic. The service they provided waa excellent, and what made them stand out even more was how friendly, accommodating, and welcoming they are. We happened to be there during game 4 of the Yankees world series and they offeres to us move closer to the TV, twice even! They never rushed us and allowed is to take our time and watch the game which was beyond appreciated. We talked to most of the people who worked there that evening and they are great. The food is also very good, I've been here twice now, once for brunch and then for dinner. I went with lobster based dishes both times (lobster Benedict and lobster pasta) and it was cooked perfectly each time. We also had the octopus appetizer this time for dinner and it was cooked very well and tasted delicious. Even their complimentary hummus with pita and bread is good and hard to stop eating. We also had this dessert that takes 20 minutes to make, well worth the wait, the vanilla custard inside it is delicious and the filo lovely and crispy. I also has the baklava during brunch cause I just can't pass it up when I see it, it was good too! The drinks are also really good and very creative. I had the Blood and Smoke as well as a seasonal Apple Cider Aperol Spritz highly recommend both. The decor and ambiance is also really well done, clean, inviting. It's a very large space too. Fantastic addition to Staten Island!

This will certainly be a valentine's day that my parents and I will never forget.... I made reservations for 2 originally for 7:45PM, however I decided to treat my parents out for valentine's day as well. I called to update my reservation for a table of 4. The hostess told me that I would have to come at 8PM for a table of 4. I said it won't be a problem and she gave me an updated reservation for 8PM. We came before 8PM and was seated right away. Our order was taken by a very kind server on his notepad on his phone about 30 minutes in. Everything started out great but QUICKLY turned into a nightmare. Our drinks came about 30 minutes later, our ONE appetizer came about 2 and an half hour, and approaching the 3 hour mark - there was still no sign of our entrees. We asked for the bill and left. In addition to the 3 HOUR wait... there was NO server in sight for the first 2 1/2 hours. The man that took our order in the beginning just vanished and no one ever checked in with us until the last hour. ** I am very certain that our order was never placed to begin with since the table behind us who came in about an hour after us got all their food. They also had to wait nearly 2 hours for their drinks/appetizers/entrees. All the surrounding tables were complaining as well. This was the first valentine's day that my parents had in more than 10 years and they were so patient because I really wanted to leave, but I stayed for them. They insisted to stay and wait for their food since they were excited to have a dine-in experience. Seabar was such a disappointment!! To add on... after waiting 2 an a half hours for our appetizer (calamari). We had to ask for it 3x before receiving it. I'm sure something did happen at the restaurant cause the hostess ended up being a server towards the end. However, she was rude by telling us to be a bit more understanding and patient because they were understaffed. EXCUSE ME? We waited patiently for 2 and a half hour for just one appetizer, WHICH came out warm and soggy. If we never voiced to the staff about the appetizer would it have ever came? ALSO, how is it the customers fault that the restaurant was understaffed? Why did they keep taking restorations then? I saw they kept taking reservations after us and I am sure they did not disclose the situation to the customers because everyone ended up frustrated like us. To make it up to us - They gave us pita bread and hummus to all the tables. Guess what? All the pita bread were burnt, but my mom was so hungry that she ate some of it. My heart aches seeing a wholesome moment for my parents turn into a horrible experience. I could go on and on about how bad the night went.. In summary, this restaurant had horrible customer service and from what we ate.... inhumane to pass out burnt food and make your customers pay for soggy food after making them wait hours for it. So we paid for two drinks and one appetizer and left. It took us a while to get the check too since they kept trying to stall by lying to us "your entrees are almost done".

Happy Hour options Upbeat music Hope to see them bring in live music and wish they were built where the front of restaurant all opened up for summer time. Definitely I place to check out. Add some martini specials to happy hour please. Martini with premium vodka around $18 and measured.

Everything from service to ambiance was very agreeable with us. I wanted to substitute the sides that came with my dish and they swapped out without a problem! They have the Fig Vodka that I love, YUM‼ We had a great experience, thank you

Was there for Sunday brunch and the food was delicious. The service was excellent too.

If you're thinking about dining here on a special occasion--think again. We visited on Valentine's Day, expecting a wonderful experience, but it was anything but. Every table was waiting endlessly for food, and complaints could be heard all around. We waited over two hours for our meals, which is simply unacceptable. That being said, when the food finally arrived, it was exceptional, as were the drinks. But great food doesn't make up for poor service. The staff seemed overwhelmed, inattentive, and unbothered by the long waits. No updates, no apologies--just frustration. No bread either. Nothing to compensated anyone. If you don't mind waiting for amazing food, go for it. But if good service matters to you on a holiday , I'd suggest looking elsewhere, especially on a busy night.

My wife and I went there for a Valentine Day lunch. Unbeknownst to us they had a fantastic fixed price week day menu. $49 per person for appetizer, main dish and desert. The apps were a in my opinion not downsized , I had grilled sardines ,she had air loom beets with a garlic aioli. Both awesome. For our mains she had the Grouper fillet with rice and asparagus and I had the pork chop with hot cherry peppers,again dishes were large and delicious. Lastly dessert, both excellent. Although coffee is not included . We left with left overs and were very satisfied. They also have beer and drink specials . I highly recommend this restaurant.

This newly opened seafood spot in this shopping center is geared towards Greek style cuisine. It is a huge restaurant that also has a private dining room. The bar area is immaculate. The staff are amazing. The drinks are flavorful. The food is delicious. I can brag about my whole meal, or you can try for yourself. The one menu item that stole the show for me was the fried popcorn shrimp basket. Wowwww, it was tender and not rubbery. Lightly battered but flavorful. Bite sized and hard to resist not popping them in one after another. The complimentary bread was charred which tasted amazing, but the side hummus kind of threw me off. You already have hummus on your appetizer menu so why give it away for free. I am BIG on extra virgin olive oil and bread. I mean, you're a Greek spot, olive oil is the way to go. Grilled octopus wasn't charred, but was mixed with a zesty medley of potatoes and red onions. The snapper tacos were tender and great meal in itself. Overall, it's' not super fancy, but quite pleasant to get your seafood fix.

Beautiful spot with friendly and warm service! We celebrated my fiancé and his grandma's bday and we had a lovely meal. Our server, Behrouz, was fantastic and attentive. Our favorite dishes were the veggie chips, beets, grilled lobster and crab cake! Highly recommend this seafood place!

Sea Bar of Staten Island has become one of our rare go to routinely restaurants. The standard on Staten Island tends to be expensive drinks that have little alcohol and mediocre food at a high price. We try a new place, feel like a sucker for what we got for our money and never return. Thus we are so pleased to have found Sea Bar. Sea Bar has it all. A massive selection of healthily prepared sea food choices and strong delicious specialty cocktails. And loyalty winning old school service from management and staff. We love it. You will too. Of special note: Chilean Sea Bass - best I have ever had Smoke and Fire - sweet and spicy Mezcal drink Pineapple Coconut Margarita -mmmmmmm Dessert- Bougatsa - serves 4- delicious!

It took 1.5 hours to get bread and drinks. More than 2 hours for appetizers (hummus and tomato salad) and after 3 hours we left without getting our mains.

Beautiful restaurant, they have booths, music is at a sensible volume, so you can have a conversation. My wife loved her organic chicken dish. The burger was tiny and over cooked. It was delicious, but I ordered it medium. Service is excellent, and restaurant is spotless. We're definitely going back.

Went for an early dinner on Sunday. Restaurant was empty. Manager was not able to find my reservation I had booked through Open Table. We were seated at a table - the vibes are nice. It was hard to hear the waitress and I feel like the drinks were a little expensive for Staten Island. Food was pretty good.

Food was great. I had the cod and the tomato salad. Service was friendly. Atmosphere was comfortable. I would go back.

Wow! Date night success! We did not expect the ambiance that you walk into from a strip mall restaurant. We initially heard of this place through Facebook community groups and didn't really know what to expect. Service was great and the food was amazing. Started off with dozen oysters, then hubby had the lobster roll and I had fish. Everything was at a perfect temp and prepared well. We will be returning!

Everything about this restaurant was excellent. Ambience, food, and service went well above our every expectations.

Sea Bar boasts an absolutely beautiful interior, it truly evokes the charm of the Mediterranean! The meal begins with complimentary grilled pita bread and hummus, excellent flavors. Service is friendly and well-paced. Note that it does get loud in the space so it makes conversation a little difficult. My sister and I ordered the Five Spreads Pikilia and Fried Calamaria for appetizers, I had the Colossal Grilled Shrimp entrée and she had the Shrimp Basiate, and we shared Gelato (1 scoop baklava and 1 scoop Fig) for dessert. The Five Spreads encompassed 5 dips of hummus, spicy feta, almond garlic, tzatziki, and carp caviar. They were not created equal. The carp caviar (taramosalata in Greek) flavor was off balance with what tasted to be excessive mayonnaise and it had been overly blended to the point where it had zero texture. I did not enjoy that at all and couldn't finish it. The tzatziki had mediocre flavor. On the other spectrum, the hummus, spicy feta, and almond garlic (skordalia) had lovely flavors. You are better off ordering those three individually, or just the spicy feta if you like heat (it really is spicy!) and the almond garlic as the table does get served free hummus. The fried calamari we received were unfortunately not crispy but did taste fresh and the marinara sauce was good. My Colossal Grilled Shrimp was grilled too much and the shrimp had dried out. On the other hand, the mashed potatoes side dish was phenomenal! My sister informed me that her Shrimp Basiate was overpowered by bell peppers in the sauce, so that tempered her enjoyment. The baklava gelato and fig gelato blew my mind they were soooo good! If I'd known in advance, I wouldn't have shared, haha. For drinks, I had a Sunrise Margharita that was very strong. I couldn't even taste the pineapple and grenadine flavoring, I just tasted alcohol. So, if you like strong drinks, that's a bonus for you. If you prefer better made balanced cocktails like me, then you may choose to pass. All in all, it was a pleasant evening, and you will enjoy yourself in this scenic paradise.

My husband and I made a reservation for Valentine's Day for 7pm. This was our first and last visit. The restaurant only had a few tables occupied at this point. We were seated and then a couple we knew came in shortly after and were seated diagonally from us so obviously we stood up to say hi to them. we chatted for a few minutes. a man came over and said to my husband, " would you like a standing table?" We laughed it off and understood this was our cue to sit down. I thought it was rude but understood it was Valentine's Day and they probably wanted people in and out so we sat. No one came over for at least 20 more minutes. Then our waiter came over and took our entire order at once. it took another 15 minutes to get our drinks then at least another 30 minutes to get appetizers (fried calamari and fried shrimp) at no time did our waiter stop and ask if we needed anything or informed us why the food was taking so long. At 9:20 I flagged down the waiter and asked about our food and he just walked away toward the kitchen. He stood there for a moment then walked away. I asked the hostess what was going on and then the waiter came over and said another 20 minutes. At this point it was 9:40 pm. We sat at 7pm. My husband demanded the check. Nothing was taken off the bill. I made a comment about the service then the hostess took my drink off the bill. We paid and left. Many people were complaining. At no point did a manager come over and apologize for the poor service. It's safe to say that I will never return to this restaurant.

Loved my Mother's Day celebration at Sea Bar!! Ambience is beautiful, staff is so on point with service from everyone we encountered and the food was delicious! Jumbo shrimp cocktail was so fresh. Grouper entree was also so good.. perfectly done. Brunch items we had everyone enjoyed especially the French toast! Overall a great first time experience and can't wait to return for dinner next time!!

The place SeaBar is really cute. The food could use a bit more seasoning. But the portions are good. The calamari was okay not awesome but the marinara sauce was good so made up for it. The drinks were good bartender is nice. The live music was cute good for background music so it's not dull. Overall I would go back for a group dinner.

First time there. It is a new Mediterranean restaurant. Beautifully decorated. Service was great. Food was fresh. Nice change from Italian. Had Black bass for 2, hummus spread and a tomato and feta salad. Highly recommend

Walked in and was seated right away. Staff was polite and friendly and it had a nice vibe to it. Bread and hummus for the table, it was fresh and very flavorful. The Appetizer was lobster bisque. It was prepared with orzo and had a different flavor profile then commonly seen in lobster bisque, but is definitely worth it. For the main course I had the colossal grilled shrimp with steamed broccoli. The shrimp was seasoned to perfection and I left wanting more. My only complaint was the amount of shrimp, the presentation was beautiful, but could have used 1-2 more shrimp. Other than that, this establishment is on my rotation!

hat an amazing "Happy Hour" at Sea Bar of Staten Island service was great, portions were generous & what a beautiful place with kind, accommodating, and friendly staff. Definitely want to go back for dinner. The white sangria was amazing as well. We all left full & happy.

Absolutely delicious. Take your time to stop by this location for some robust flavorful dishes. We had the calamari, shrimp tacos, fish tacos, red snapper special, lobster bisque, the Grouper fish, shrimp busiate & quinoa salad. Everything was splendid and the service was amazing. The bathrooms were clean and you get a glimpse of the kitchem while they prepare your meal.

I absolutely love the atmosphere and decor, but sadly do think the food could have been better. Service was top notch and this is more of an ambiance type of dining. Grilled squid was bitter. Lava cake was subpar. Lobster pasta had a serious lack of actual lobster pieces. Fish was dry. Calamari did save the night though. May or may not come back and try other things.

Well Saturday Dec 7th I took my beautiful Erica to brunch for a mother and daughter day. We were celebrating her graduation from the University I am so proud of her. The steak and eggs was really good and she had an avocado toast with sunny side on the toast and pancakes we truly enjoyed the atmosphere, the service, the restaurant is beautiful . I finally was able to meet Mike the owner such a great owner.Come out and support him Dec 21 7-10 a special event will take place make your reservation now before there are no more availability. The food is excellent, its clean, service is impeccable. The ambiance is great in the evenings.

I was in town due to my moms recent passing and managing the property sale which is located across the street ,so I walked into this new spot to grab some dinner at the bar. The bartender was nice and welcoming, and the drinks were also crafted very well. The music was a bit loud for dinner but I figured It would drown out if the food was good. I ordered the veggie chips tower and the lamb shank. I was immediately impressed at how authentic the tzatziki sauce was. Thick and flavorful and the chips were very crispy. They also brought out a complimentary bread basket with hummus. The lamb shank was out of this world. Fall off the bone tender with the perfect seasoning. I took most of it home and ate it for two more meals. I highly recommend trying this spot. I will be back before leaving town.

We ordered a fish and the rib eye special, medium rare It cam out medium well so we sent it back and asked to have it rare and it came back medium. You might say we shouldn't order steak in a seafood restaurant but the fish was also over cooked and dry The mixed vegetables had a very sweet sauce and the corn was, surprise, overcooked On the plus side the server was very nice.and the ambience is pleasant

Absolutely beautiful restaurant with a great playlist going. The vibe is vibing. The drinks were amazing, cucumber gimlet and blood orange martini were top notch. We had the seafood plateau which was plentiful and SO FRESH. All the seafood was sweet and delicious. One recommendation would be to offer mignonette with the oysters. We shared a delicious and large red bass special with jumbo shrimp. The flavors were perfect. Also loved the complimentary grilled pita/breadstick basket with hummus. Along with the excellent food, I must mention the amazing service we received. Everyone from the bartender to the bus boy to our server was extraordinarily friendly and personable. It is clear that the staff is carefully selected and it makes a big difference in the experience at the restaurant I will definitely be back here and I will definitely be recommending it to family and friends.

Delicious! Went for Sunday Brunch. Party of 8 and the service was impeccable. Beruz was the best host. Food was amazing. Only downside was the drinks were a little too strong . Def recommend !

Great place! Came here twice so far and can't wait to try more of the menu's options. The place is beautiful, the food is delicious and drinks are really good. The service is excellent and staff is friendly. I was there earlier today and my friends and I were served by Behrouz who was so kind, attentive, and helpful with the questions we had about some menu items. I'll be sure to go again really soon!

Food was terrible. Barely hot, very bland. Fish was fresh but the kitchen staff definitely needs work. It's very obvious they're inexperienced. There was also a puddle of water on my plate from the vegetables. Pretty disappointing

We celebrated a birthday last night. I wanted seafood prepared the mid east way. For appetizers we had lobster bisque, fisherman's soup, grilled octopus, grilled sardines and Athenian Marouli. For main course: the Fargi, the Faroe salmon, the Ahi tuna and the cod were great. I requested rice pilaf instead of mashed potato as my side. A serving of Pinot and Artemis sprits tied the meal together. For desserts, we had vanilla and raspberry gelatos, chocolate lava cake, a Freddo espresso, regular french press coffee. The service was attentive and efficient. Never had one problem with the servers. The place was comfortable, not cramped, and makes for a nice ambience. I'll take my wife there again. Bon appetit!

First time here. Big place, beautiful bar. The drinks were made great. I had the pomegranate martini, was good and not sweet. I didn't care for the steak tacos. But enjoyed everything else we ordered. Id like to hear some better music next time and at a volume you can hear. Had a nice time, service was friendly and on point, will come back soon.

Food is very good. Service is terrible. To be honest, I can't even remember another place with such a terrible service. 20 minutes waiting time to get a bottle of water. 45 minutes to get main course. 15 minutes to get a bottle of wine. Instead of 2 dozen of oysters they brought just one. When we asked about the 2nd one they apologized and brought it later. When we got our check we noticed "2 Scotch Glenlivet 12 (make it double)" for $70 which we didn't order. And I am not even mentioning that charging $70 for 2 shots when the whole bottle cost $60 is ridiculous (especially because they have Oban 14 for $23 a shot, which makes way more sense). Our server apologized and brought another, correct bill. It was $650 +tax (we were party of 8). So we gave him everything plus $130 as a tip (even though he didn't deserved a penny). In a minute he came back extremely nervous and started telling me: "You have a huge party!!! You have to give a tip!!!" I didn't understand what he wanted and said: "Why don't you count money again?". He counted and apologized saying "Oh, sorry, you did give me 20%". We came to this place at 7pm to have dinner. We finished our dinner at 11pm. That's how slow and inattentive our service was. Also, when a server approaches customer and asking for a tip - it is a red flag for me. I'd never go to the restaurant again. No matter how good was our food we won't come back. I even won't post my photos of food in order not to promote this place.

Food was delicious and decently priced. Veggies chips are an amazing appetizer, by the way. Also, good service from people who clearly care about the business.

This place is top notch! The food and service and ambiance! And they are honest to top it off. I forgot my credit card by accident when I paid 3 weeks ago and didn't realize till today. They had my card and kept it safe. I will definitely be back! I highly recommend

Sea Bar is a great spot to get your seafood fix! Loved the octopus as well as the popcorn shrimp. The service was excellent with friendly staff from the moment we walked in as we were greeted with smiles. The restaurant is cute and nothing super fancy but very welcoming fun environment. Great drinks too.

My family and I had an amazing meal at Sea Bar tonight! First of all the restaurant is beautiful and inviting. we especially enjoyed the fish tacos, the Greek salad, the octopus and the branzino whole. The desserts were out of this world. I definitely recommend. We are looking forward to trying their brunch menu one weekend.
