My friend and I attended the Christmas Day Lunch, and it was delicious. There were a few hiccups with our meal, but the staff went way above and beyond to correct it. They were all so nice and friendly with very attentive service. Beautiful location right on the beach, but it is very much worth the drive south from anywhere in San Diego County. We will for sure be coming back.

Great spot. Customer service was great, and the ambiance was wonderful. We went in for a quick bit to eat on a Saturday afternoon. The wait time was zero. We enjoyed the food, but the grilled octopus was a bit hard. Everything else was amazing. We would definitely try this restaurant again.

Came here to celebrate my daughter's 15th birthday. We really enjoyed ourselves. Food was delicious. Service was perfect! I absolutely love the crispy Brussels 😍

Google
Amazing views of the Ocean 🌊 very nice atmosphere and the food was excellent!! We sat on the outdoor patio which was amazing! We had the New England clam chowder, double burger 🍔 and the salmon dish. Our server was decent but we had to ask for the happy hour menu after seeing another table get one and we did not and he was a bit slow on coming to take our order but overall a great experience and great food! Well worth the trip and definitely recommend!

Google
10 out of 10. This place was a hidden gem we just feel upon. Parked at the beach in IB and walked in looking for a good meal. This hit the spot and the views are tremendous, right on the sand next to the pier. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and the staff was terrific. Clam chowder was perfect and the tequila twist on some traditional drinks make the cocktail menu unique and interesting. Go find this place for your next date night.

Google
Decent food, the dishes didn't have the best balance and combination of flavors. Highly recommend to make a reservation ahead of time, and choose the outside seating next to the beach. It's a really pretty view eating next to the beach and ocean with a light breeze. Parking around here is also very tricky, there's pretty much only street parking. Food is definitely on the expensive side. Pasta dishes are $25-30, and the meat related ones are more. The cocktails are okay, not the best I've tried. They're around the usual price, $10-20 range. I enjoyed the environment and the service. Just the food was meh, 3/5.

Google
Highly recommend to hit up happy hour where food and drinks are significantly cheaper, but just as good quality. If you can get a table overlooking the beach, it’s the best views!! Pretty decent food, but very salty. Clam chowder had only a few pieces of clam in it.

Google
Been here a few time and never disappoints. Staff always have a great attitude. The food is always very tasty! 100% recommend the brusel sprouts, they were ssoooo good! The hamburger was also very good! Recommended adding shrimp to the cesar, another must have! Great beach view, extremely relaxing to listen to while having lunch! Will be back for that awesome happy hour menu!

Yelp
A wonderful experience at sea 180.... now known as "Toasted" a chain restaurant known for being in Las Vegas. Clearly this is a transition time for the restaurant. The old Sea180 is gone; new menu, new organization, same great staff. I have always appreciated the old restaurant for the location and the opportunity to visit with friends at the beach without actually being in the sand. my memory has been of good drinks and quality food. The new restaurant chain has a history of comfort food opposed to specialty dishes. Today we sampled some wonderful food that was prepared by the hand of a true chef. The Monte Cristo is worth talking about twice and coming back thrice. Sweet and savory, amazing rendition of the expected Monte Cristo. This is not a deep-fried sandwich. Wonderful French Toast frames this savory and sweet rendition. To say each bite is a memory of thanksgiving would be more appropriate. Not overpowering in anyway, Just wonderful. The spicy chicken sandwich is kind-of-a Smashburger in style. Jalapeño, aïoli, fresh vegetables, and pickled tang round off this excellent spicy sandwich. Not high-tech but definitely a crowd pleaser The coffee is good The grind is definitely unique. A very welcomed site when the beach is cool enough to warrant a blanket. Fernando was our waiter. Did I mention the staff is excellent? A true professional. He completely made us feel like the restaurant was ours to explore. He helped guide us through the new menu and had a wonderful insights for our visit A charming gentleman and a pleasure to meet I would likely have written this review without his presence. Yet clearly he's also the reason we enjoyed our stay even more. Obviously, the restaurant is in transition and only time will tell what happens next. as for me, I will be back for sure. Many thanks to the wonderful staff who once again made our visit even more worthy.

Yelp
The food was amazing Service was good The location were our table was at not the greatest to close to the entrances people walking behind us constantly which I really dislike. Over all enjoy this place and their food is amazing

Shelly B.

Yelp
Friendly staff, fresh food and plenty of sports to watch. Definitely a local joint and I loved it! My salad was fresh and the cup of chili a perfect balance. Had a nice chat with a regular too which was super fun!

Yelp
Always a good meal when you come here the views are fantastic and the food is just delicious. just sitting there watching the waves and having a great glass of wine is the perfect evening when coming here to sea 180

Yelp
We were in town and wanted to grab dinner after watching the sunset on Imperial Beach so we decided to make reservations to have dinner here. I made reservations via Open Table and chose to sit in their outdoor dining area. They have heaters outside so even on a chilly February night, it was comfortable. This restaurant is located inside of a small resort, facing the ocean. When we arrived, we were greeted and seated right away. The menu had a great selection of seafood appetizers and seafood entrees. The portions were pretty big and the food was good. Pricing is a little expensive but I'm sure pricing is due to us being in California as well as due to inflation. We all enjoyed our meals but I only gave this restaurant a 4 star because you actually have to park 2 blocks away in a paid parking lot.

Yelp
We enjoyed our dining experience a lot more than we expected. We didn't realize we also came during happy hour, so that was a plus. Our server was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent customer service. The hummus, clam chowder, and chicken quesadillas from the happy hour menu were all really good and worth it. We had no expectations for the chicken quesadillas and enjoyed it so much, we ordered a 2nd order of it. The hummus reminded me of guacamole and the type of tortilla chip paired with it was perfect. The piece of bread that came with the clam chowder was delicious with a crispy, but soft texture. The pineapple margarita was too spicy. I didn't realize the tequila itself was going to be really spicy, so I had to force myself I finish it. The blood orange margarita was better, but it didn't taste like blood orange. The burger was juicy and had a lot of flavor. The seared tuna salad was just okay, I enjoyed the dressing, which was very light and refreshing. I actually accidentally ate the seared tuna salad because I had ordered the tuna appetizer and the server put in the tuna salad by mistake, and I didn't realize it until towards the end of the meal. He spoke with the manager and they charged me the price of the appetizer (my request). There weren't many pieces of seared tuna and the quality of the tuna was just okay. Also, the shape of them (cubes) threw me off and wasn't appealing. Good food, happy hour menu, and ocean views of IB. Worth it to check out if you're in the area!

Yelp
We celebrated a loved one's birthday on 5.20th at Sea180, situated in Imperial Beach. As we neared the shore, the surroundings gave a feeling reminiscent of the seaside when we were on a vacation in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Parking can be found on the side street close to the ocean. Our reservation was scheduled for 6:00 PM, but we arrived around 5:15 PM and the friendly front desk person kindly accommodated us at the earlier time. We chose to sit on the outdoor patio to enjoy the breathtaking view of the ocean. Although the weather was slightly cooler, it was comfortable with the red blankets available for grabs in the restaurant. The standup heaters also provided much-needed heat. The staff members were accommodating and our server, Maurice, was fantastic. We ordered the following: - Sea Starters Calamari: Polenta-crusted calamari & zucchini, pickled peppers and Serrano aioli - Caesar Salad: Gem romaine, puffed quinoa and parmesan - 2 Chicken Tingas Quesadillas: Corn tortillas, cotija cheese, mozzarella cheese, pico de gallo, lime crema, and cabbage - New York Steak & Crawfish Sauce: Cajun crawfish sauce, confit fingerling potatoes, charred asparagus and grilled lemon The food was exceptional and the customer service was excellent. If you're looking for a romantic getaway to treat someone special, you've found the right place. Although the price is a bit on the higher side, the experience was definitely worth it.

Yelp
Absolute best place to catch a dinner sunset in imperial Beach... If the glass is clean, of course... This place holds a lot of special memories for me and I am a huge fan of their wine selection. Very consistent and accommodating customer service.

Liz M.

Yelp
Beautiful view and very attentive staff. Everything we tried was really good, but as expected a bit in the pricey side. Definitely try the clam chowder.

Andrea L.

Yelp
We've been wanting to come here for a while but haven't made it down south until now and I'm so glad we did! Fernando, our server, was excellent. I can't say enough good things about the service from start to finish. It was really neat to see the cold brew drip coffee being made at the entrance. We enjoyed our food and my friend's meal (huarache ranchero) was the best she ever had! The view from the restaurant is incredible. We were right on the beach! The place was so good all around, we all decided it would be worth the trek to come down south for and we hope to again soon.

Joanna T.

Yelp
Many great things to say, the ambiance of the restaurant was AMAZING!!! our server Daniel was the best!!! He made sure we had everything we ordered, heckled up on us to make sure the food was prepped and delicious at our liking. Compliments to the chef(s) during that night. Food was made fresh and delicious! I would highly recommend coming here for dinner, a date, or just trying some place new.

Vee C.

Yelp
Beautiful views. Free Small parking lot on the side and free street parking. Friendly but slow service 3/5. Food was alright overall 3.5/5. Could be seasoned better. My salmon was not cooked thoroughly. The calamari was half fried zucchini. I liked the zucchini but my friend said the calamari was not good The smoked crab and swordfish dip was alright as well. I didnt try the fish and chips but was told it was good. Maybe go for happy hour and views, not for entrees, is my recommendation.

Michael L.

Yelp
Would not recommend this place. Upon her arriving, there is no receptionist but multiple staff walked by without anybody checking her asking if we've been helped. After a few minutes, someone came to see us. We were seated outside by the water which the place is an excellent view of the ocean. The service speed was good, but the main disappointment was the food. Overall lacked flavor was very bland. The quality of the tuna was poor and the presentation of the tuna look like just the mass. For the price of the food and what we got I will definitely not be going back here.

Lisa M.

Yelp
Great view Food was tasty Service was on par Definitely will visit again a hidden gem on the coast line

Keli B.

Yelp
When a local recommends a restaurant... you take him up on his recommendation. Glad we did! After the Brigantine failed us the week before with an underwhelming clam chowder and plain Jane crab Louie salad, Sea180 offered sweet redemption, deserving of accolades and high praise. From the service to the food to the ambience... 5 stars across the board!!! Let's begin with the smoked swordfish tacos... I often turn down a taco if corn tortillas are the only option. Our server accommodated my request to substitute flour tortillas. But these are not your typical doughy flour tortillas. These tortillas are a lighter variety, perfect crispness... wrapped around generous swordfish chunks cooked with perfect doneness, and zucchini slaw with perfect crunchiness. Served with extra chimichurri sauce, who doesn't like chimichurri? Moving onto the bacon wrapped firecracker shrimp. They came out looking like a photo from a magazine cover--only these you can pick up and enjoy ;) wasn't too greasy, perfect tenderness. Came with chipotle aioli, holy guacamole, absolutely delightful. A nice option for keto people. And the clam chowder... Fresh in quality, rich in texture, and flavorful in taste. It came with a fresh baked slice of toast which was a welcome change from the typical bag of oyster crackers served at most restaurants. Oh let's not forget to mention their amazing happy hour... Clam chowder $8. Sangria $6, and Cocktails for $8? These days you'd be hard pressed to find drinks under 15 anymore especially at higher-end restaurants continuously raising prices under the guise of "inflation". Last but not least the outdoor ambience punctuates this ocean dining experience with an exclamation point. They have plenty of outdoor seating looking out to the ocean and the pier. Great for people watching... if there were more people out! But the water contamination kept the crowds home. In spite of the sad state of affairs with the water pollution from TJ, we managed to have a good time walking along the shore. Hopefully imperial beach will get the funding and support it needs to fix this plant treatment problem soon. Apparently it's been a 2+ year old problem but needs buy in at the state government level to declare it a state of emergency. When the environment and public health are at risk... I would call it a state of emergency, wouldn't you? In the mean time, stay out of the water and stay hydrated at lovely restaurants like Sea180 ;)

Aly V.

Yelp
Sea 180, Imperial Beach, CA Dining mood by the sea is classic. However, food disappointing. Crab Rigatoni just tastes like a Mac N Cheese with crab bits in it and parmesan on top, taste was confusing. Mango 180 drink needs more of the mango taste and aroma. Grilled octopus needs the freshness taste but okay , could improve a little more. Redemption on Sea180 beer and the clam chowder. Staff was accommodating which was nice.

Vivian P.

Yelp
I have been coming to this restaurant for many years now and this last time was the best experience yet. I forgot our servers name *face palm* but he was super friendly and knowledgeable. He came to check on us a lot & constantly refilled our waters. We got the calamari to start as well as the soup of the day, which was miso soup. I love miso soup but this was absolutely not good & looked like the murky waters of IB. It was also prime rib night, so we tried it and it was so delicious and flavorful and came with a ceaser salad. We came for the view & stayed for the service and amazing food... minus the soup. See you next time sea 180!

Bo K.

Yelp
Spontaneously came here for lunch with some friends. Parking can be tough as with any beachside business. We were seated outside on a beautiful day, and you can't complain about the ocean views. Our server was really nice and let us know that the restaurant was transitioning from breakfast to lunch, if we wanted to consider both menus. I ended up going for the shrimp omelet, subbing side of fruit instead of breakfast potatoes. The shrimp were cut into bite-sizes but tasted fine. I expected higher quality seafood considering the location and price. Overall, I liked my omelet but it had too much cheese for my preference and the eggs were overdone. Side of fruit was standard. However, my stomach was very very upset with the food soon after. It really sucks because I did enjoy my meal while I was there. I cannot rate it higher for the stomach ache that the food caused, especially for what it cost. Two stars is because service we received was excellent.

Dawn B.

Yelp
Sea 180 is delightful! I really love the beautiful view out the back patio and feeling the sea air. The cocktails are delicious! I really enjoyed the couple that I had this last time. Also the clam chowder and the calamari is so well done. Service is always excellent and everyone is always so friendly.

Kelly M.

Yelp
Impressive in every way! Menu offerings for New Years were fantastic. Amuse was not our style but a fun fancy start. First course was awesome with great coconut shrimp and others ordered hamachi. Substantial portions and nice presentation. Steak was perfect and add on lobster tail was very large! Dessert were all interesting interpretations but most liked it well enough. Complimentary champagne was excellent! Service, decor and vibe were outstanding! Bottle of wine very reasonably priced. A very fun experience and a must visit for holidays!

Aly P.

Yelp
I have been here a few times during slower times. Service was good! Food was great! Really like their appetizers, clam chowder, salads and burgers. The only thing id say is a deep cleaning is needed on the booths and ceiling areas I am a clean freak but still.

Michele T.

Yelp
First time here, and it was a great way to end our short getaway. Arrived on time for happy hour (2:30-5pm), and we were seated outside right at the glass. Weather was perfect, and our waiter did a great job in taking our order and checking on us often. Other than hubs ordering the double cheeseburger, we ordered primarily from the happy hour menu. Hubs said the burger was really good - pillowy soft bun and noted the grilled flavor of the patties. The fries also arrived hit and crispy. From the happy hour menu, ordered the Wedge salad (very good, didn't need to use the extra dressing as it was dressed well), crispy Brussels sprouts (cooked well), clam chowder (creamy and full of clam meat), and the queso fundido (probably the only dish I didn't care for too much - too oily and cheese didn't stay melty). Our visit was enjoyable, overall, and would definitely return next time we're in town.

John C.

Yelp
Wonderful experience, came with low expectations and left with a smile. Great view of the sunset, simple menu with great tasting options. Server was super attentive and awesome. The manager came by our table and asked us "what did you think of the food?". Wished more restaurants would do that. The manager had opened some other restaurants in Coronado beach area before taking this position. Had a wonderful time and every item we ordered was delectable, normally there are at least 1 or 2 items not that great but here they got a perfect score! For sure will return!

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Beautiful scenery. Simply gorgeous specially at sunset! Food is amazing. And customer service is spectacular.

Darren L.

Yelp
Situated on the beach, SEA180 is a perfect getaway for some great seafoods. The ambience is filled with a sea breeze with breath taking views as the waves calmly crash on to the sand. Service: We were greeted with a welcome and were seated promptly. The waiter promptly ask for our cocktails and appetizers and were very cordial. They had recommendations which I ordered and was very happy with their selections. Food: Cocktails: Hibiscus Sea Mocktail Spicy Mango Tango Bottle of Educated Guess (Napa Valley) Cabernet Sauvignon Nutella Martini Appetizers: Ahi Tostada Smoke Swordfish Dip Potato Pave Entrees: Scallops Pollo Adobado Short Ribs Mole Skuna Bay Salmon Dessert: Chocolate Tres Leches Brown Butter Corn Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream and Candy Walnuts Their cocktails were made very well and tasted pretty good. The wine paired well with the meal. The smoked swordfish paired well with the cherry tomatoes and red onions. It was my favorite of the two. The Ahi was good but my palette did not like it as much with the cucumbers. The Potato Pave was made elegantly. It is pan fried and once you dig into it, it falls apart and reminds me of scallop potatoes. I actually order the salmon and it was delicious. I was surprised when the waiter asked me how I wanted it prepared. I knew then, that my salmon would be tender and juicy as I ordered it medium. It paired very well with the tossed tomatoes and was surprising good with the bed of yogurt and avocado puree. I had a taste of the Short Ribs and they were very tender and to my liking. The Pollo was fabulous as well. Dessert was awesome. The waiter recommended the Corn Cake which turned out to be the star of the desserts for me. It was surprising delicious. I'd order this again. Overall, the experience was wonderful.

Bret M.

Yelp
A very nice place directly on the beach. We went for the view and absolutely enjoyed our meals. Friendly and fast service. Good food and reasonable prices. If driving down from San Diego I recommend routing thru Coronado and down the strand. A bit longer but a wonderful drive.

Alexis R.

Yelp
This restaurant was phenomenal. We came with a bigger party at 9am. There is street parking, as well as beach parking on the side of the building. This restaurant is nestled inside a hotel. It was chilly out & there was a marine layer, so it was cold & very bright outside. Employees of the restaurant turned on all the heaters, which was awesome & made it comfortable, as we were sat right in the corner by the hotel's pool, with a view of the beach. Our orders were all taken promptly and our food was brought out quite quickly as well. Fernando was an absolutely godsend. He asked if we were celebrating anything special & we were there for a celebration of life, a gathering with family by the beach. Fernando was so empathetic & understanding of the situation. He went above & beyond for anything we needed. As the day got later, the sun came out & the marine layer was gone. The sun came out & he & his team of men grabbed all the umbrellas a moved them towards us & not one of us was in the sun afterwards. He made us all feel taken care of & comfortable. The food was amazing! We all had a mixture of things & everyone raved about how good it was. My chilaquiles rojos were 100/10. The sauce on it was great, the cheese & crema & the beans all complimented each other really well. The portions were very generous, I even took half of mine home for later! Last but not least, towards the end of our breakfast, Fernando came out with the most beautiful slice of cake with a yellow rose on the plate (don't have pictures) but, it was the most beautiful gesture , he let us know that we were there to celebrate the good times & so he gave that to us as a little reminder of that. The food was amazing & the service was unlike any I have ever received before. I will be coming back. Definitely worth our drive from the Menifee / Temecula area! Please stop in, you won't regret it!

Sinath C.

Yelp
I came here with high expectations and was very disappointed. I am not sure what all the hype was about. Half of the dishes I wanted were no longer available. I looked up the menu ahead of time, so it would be good to update that on their website or whatever. I had to send the calamari back, it was cold and soggy. The cocktails were decent and a few other dishes we ordered were just blah.

Marcos R.

Yelp
The food is super tasty, I already taste a good part of their menu and all the dishes are very great. The views are awesome, and the service is quite good. Go !

Lani M.

Yelp
Wonderful service and delicious food. I had the Brussel sprouts which were tasty, the prawns wrapped in bacon were perfect and the calamari which was different but tasted great. Great views and ambience. My daughter had the veggie pasta (kids menu) which was pasta and butter with chopped up asparagus and that was nice to see a healthy meal for the kids. Highly recommend!!

Emily M.

Yelp
Pheweee if you're looking for beachfront viewsss this place is the absolute best in terms of location. Literally on the water. The everyday 2:30-5:30 happy hour came in clutch. We were trying to kill some time in the afternoon and got some amazing cocktails and a super discounted appetizer. $10 Cheese mushroom queso dip was a super hearty snack. It's like a skillet with melted cheese mixed with mushrooms and spicy chili oil. Definitely good to share with like 3 people. Drinks were superb and for $8 I can't complain. Strawberry martini was amazing. Perfectly balanced drink and not too sweet! Bf got the old fashioned and was a big fan also!

Delmar D.

Yelp
Vine aquí para el cumpleaños de mi novia. Great food and service with a beautiful sunset view

Marianna B.

Yelp
It was recommended by a family friend about 6 years ago and I've loved it! I've gone a few times all the way from the inland empire and it's worth the drive. Indoor seating is so calm and quiet, outdoors is so peaceful watching the waves crash. I've even held a birthday brunch and the service was amazing from booking the reservation and the waitress that was so helpful with my guest. Food is delicious and all staff in the hotel and restaurant are wonderful. My only wish is that some food items would stay on the menu all the time since it's so good but I understand it due to the seasonal items and the time of day you go.

Claudia J.

Yelp
Pros: - Beautiful scenery - Heaters in case it gets chilly - Appetizers and entrees were amazing, and the drinks were tasty Cons: - Sand will blow onto your meals/drinks if you're dining outside - You will still be charged full price for everything you ordered even if sand blows onto them Overall, the atmosphere was great and the service from our waitress was superb! Despite the unfortunate accidents during our first visit, we've learned that if you want to enjoy an entree, eat inside. The outside patio is better if you just want to have some drinks and appetizers while socializing.

Mary B.

Yelp
We made reservations to sit outside to see the sunset, but due to rain and wind the establishment called to notify us of a move inside. No problem. Great service, delicious food and ambience was good inside too. We arrived early due to the weather and discovered happy hour 4-5pm...so ordered drinks. Meals were lettuce wedge and PEI mussels and I loved my shrimp and corn tamal! Jordan, our waiter joked about the sauce of the mussels being so good and apparently my friend agreed.

Myrna A.

Yelp
Great for a large group during the week amazing sunset view if timed for it. Service was perfect our waitress was super friendly and accommodating Food was ok I had fish and chips

Nicholle S.

Yelp
Love this place. It's so beautiful and they give you blankets if it's cold. I just go for happy hour and they even have it on the weekend.

Ken S.

Yelp
View is what you get here, food was nothing out of the normal. The drinks were good service was kind of slow.

David H.

Yelp
Pretty cool that we made reservations the day of and we're able to get a table. Not pretty cool that when we got there they told us, "Oh man we over booked, we're gonna try to get you in on time." You shouldn't have told me that.... Needless to say we got our table in time. So again? I didn't need to know you overbooked. We ordered our drinks, appetizers and our entrées. The drinks took a while, but eventually we got them. We individually and gradually got our appetizers... made it awkward to eat when we all got our appetizers at different times. Same went for the entrées. We all got them at different times. The friends I came with love this place and I can see why. The food is good. I had the octopus appetizer and fish and chips for the entrée. Both were great. The price for the food was okay. Let's just say this place is meant to either eat on special occasions and maybe to celebrate something, but not every week. There are people here though that so come here every week though it seems. "Nado" people or to be more exact "the cays people" cuz Nado people say they live "in the village and not the cays". Anyway, this place is great. Parking sucks unless you do the valet (if available).

Tony H.

Yelp
Octopus, scallop and the mussels are pretty great! The drinks are okay. Great view! Amazing place over all! Service is great and fast!

Marinelle A.

Yelp
Been here a few times as a local in the area. Can't beat the views! Their happy hour is also pretty good. Really great place to hangout or for a date. Service is also pretty phenomenal the few times I've been. Definitely recommended.

Jordan M.

Yelp
had a great evening with my son, beautiful friend and her daughter and Nancy was the best waitress/ bartender. My Drink was perfectly tended and my food was delicious and served expeditiousl. I haven't been here in years but I definitely will be returning 5 stars on service and comfortability!!!!

Nyssa B.

Yelp
Very sad to say, but this place has gone way downhill. I haven't been here in a while and it's definitely not what it use to be. Portion sizes have gotten WAY smaller and prices have gone WAY up. Quality of the food is not really there and almost everything on the menu is $20+ even the small appetizers. Only good thing was our server was very nice and attentive. Not sure I'll be rushing back anytime soon.

Mariana A.

Yelp
After my previous review, they reached out to me and were very apologetic and had the best customer service! We came back and the service was excellent. It definitely made up for our anniversary and they made sure to make us feel celebrated! The food was delicious as always and the ambiance was quiet and tranquil. We can't wait to be back! Thank you to everyone here for their amazing customer service

We absolutely love this restaurant. We love to come down to Imperial Beach and stay a few nights at this hotel. We know we are going to have a few great meals at SEA180 while we are here. We brought our 2 grandchildren along with us this time and boy were they impressed . The view just can't be beat. It was a little chilly but they had plenty of heaters out and fire going to keep us comfortable. Our server was welcoming and extremely helpful. Top notch service from all the staff. Now for food. WOW! So delicious and the presentation is so beautiful. The kids ate everything and even tasted some of ours. They are all ready asking when we can go back so they can try the other delicious items they saw in the menu. Thank you for the great service and amazing food and making our time there memorable. We look forward to the next time.

Yelp
usually my family will make our thanksgiving meal at home, but this year we found ourselves in san diego for vacation so we needed to find a place that would still bring that thanksgiving spirit! this is where sea180 came in:) we made reservations for dinner and the process couldn't be any more smooth. all the waiters were extremely attentive throughout the whole visit, and the view of the beach from the outdoor seating area seriously could not be beat‍ they also had a special thanksgiving 3-course meal which i seriously loved, so this was definitely a win in my book! -- -- -- pictured: " thanksgiving 3-course meal ($65.95) // we started with a small fig bruschetta as an appetizer which was slightly acidic and full fig flavor! then we moved onto a choice between a creamy butternut squash bisque or a poached pear salad, both of which were delicious. the butternut squash bisque was thick and creamy and had an unbelievably smoky and spice-forward flavor! the poached pears were delicate and sweet, pairing nicely with the bitterness of the arugula and nutty walnuts! the main course was a choice of oven roasted turkey, skuna salmon, beef short rib, or chiles rellenos. while the other dishes sounded just as delicious, we wanted to experience the authentic thanksgiving meal so we all chose to do that one. the turkey was some of the most flavorful and juicy turkey i had ever tasted, and the refreshing cranberry sauce and creamy mashed potatoes really elevated each bite. finally, we had a choice of pumpkin pie, sweet potato sticky bun, or the salted caramel pecan bar. while the pumpkin pie was good, I personally found it a bit too sweet! however, the salted caramel pecan bar was exceptional, as the saltiness and sweetness was balanced perfectly with the creamy vanilla ice cream! -- -- -- overall, I would highly recommend this spot for a special occasion or to treat yourself to great food, great service, and even more exceptional views!

Yelp
Sea180 thinks it is something that it is not. They are also shady and have a bit of a grift going on. We went there for Mother's Day, so it is a special menu; customized for the day. $70 per seat, fixed choices, only for today. So this new menu does not state that there is a 15% surcharge for "increased costs". So the REAL cost is $80 per plate. Why not just charge that? You printed the menu for today...seems like the "increased cost" could have been added today. When the "bill" came, it was just the waitress asking "who is paying?" I said that I am and she literally said "well, you know the cost". She took my card and tapped the machine. The only part of the bill I saw was when it asked for another 18-20-22% for tip. Even though they got our order wrong (on a menu with only four choices), took 30 minutes to get us our drinks each time, and brought out the "courses"'in the wrong order; I left the DEFAULT 20%. So now I have a $310 bill hit with 15% increase, then tax, and then 20%. Four meals and four mimosas were $430; $70 is almost doubled. Now, my original line was that they don't know what they are...they are...at best...a cheap resort in Mexico. The brutal hotel entrance, the gaudy restaurant, and the patio that looks like it was last renovated (and deep cleaned) in the 90s is a an ambiance that does not feel like a $110 per person brunch.

Yelp
Been meaning to warn those who dine here. Great place to visit and eat, but be careful when you pay. They added a tip larger than the meal itself. I called them the next day and they said there was nothing that could be done. You've been warned. Glad I got that out there.
