"Seabird is the restaurant that convinced us we like oysters. Actually, Seabird is the restaurant that convinced us we love oysters, especially when combined with panoramic views of London and an atmosphere that encourages alfresco cocktail sipping, day or night. Grab the love of your life and head to the Southwark spot for a memorable dinner, or book a table for a group of out-of-towners who want to get all doe-eyed about eating in the shadow of the Shard. Or just bring yourself here for a romantic moment with a mollusc." - rianne shlebak, jake missing, heidi lauth beasley, daisy meager
"If you like your oysters with a side of “check out that view”, then you’re going to be really into Seabird. This isn’t another rooftop cocktail bar masquerading as an overpriced Mediterranean restaurant. No, it’s actually home to some of London’s best oysters and with their Southwark roof terrace, it’s a special combination." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak
"Seabird is a sunny holiday masquerading as a Southwark rooftop, serving the kind of huge lobster dishes and cocktails you save for holidays or celebrations. It also happens to be one of our all-time favourite seafood places to eat oysters in London, especially if you’re getting involved in the Louët-Feissers. Plus, throwing back half a dozen oysters on a rooftop is what you’ll inevitably be craving after watching a musical based on a sunny Greek island." - jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna
"If you take umbrage with the word ‘vacay’ then we can only apologise for the next sentence. Seabird is a sunny vacay masquerading as a Southwark rooftop, serving the kind of huge lobster dishes you would eat on vacay, alongside BIG VACAY ENERGY cocktails. There is something so gloriously escapist about the foliage, cushions, and oil-loaded seafood dishes. It also happens to be one of our favourite places to eat oysters in London, especially if you’re getting involved in the Louët-Feissers. "There are London rooftops and then there’s Seabird. If you’re currently having a very physical reaction to this picture of their Riviera-eat-your-heart-out rooftop terrace then, same. It’s an excellent seafood spot on the 14th floor of The Hoxton hotel in Southwark, and their outdoor space feels distinctly New York rooftop meets Côte d’Azur vacation. Although you can just hit Seabird up for one of their fun, creative cocktails, we’d suggest going all out for a special occasion featuring their whole lobster, oysters, and 80 candid photos with that view." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, daisy meager
