"If you like your oysters with a side of “check out that view”, you’re going to be really into Seabird. This isn’t another rooftop cocktail bar masquerading as an overpriced Mediterranean restaurant. No, it’s home to some of London’s best oysters and with their Southwark roof terrace, it’s a special combination." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna
"There are London rooftops and then there’s Seabird. If you’re currently having a very physical reaction to this picture of their Riviera-eat-your-heart-out rooftop terrace then, same. It’s a seafood spot on the 14th floor of The Hoxton hotel in Southwark, and their outdoor space feels distinctly ‘New York rooftop meets Côte d’Azur vacation’. Just know that drinks-only reservations are from 9:30pm." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, daisy meager
"Seabird is the restaurant that convinced us we like oysters. Actually, Seabird is the restaurant that convinced us we love oysters, especially when combined with panoramic rooftop views of London and an atmosphere that enables endless alfresco cocktail sipping, day or night. Grab the love of your life and head to The Hoxton’s Southwark outpost for a truly memorable dinner, or book a table for a group of out-of-towners who want to get all doe-eyed about eating in the shadow of the Shard. Or just bring yourself for a romantic moment with a mollusc, soundtracked by the internal monologue of ‘I am living my best life’." - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, heidi lauth beasley
"Seabird is the London rooftop jackpot—a long glamorous terrace with tropical foliage and decorative cushions. This 14th-floor seafood spot on the top of The Hoxton hotel in Southwark has panoramic views of London and an atmosphere that enables endless alfresco cocktail sipping, with minimal interference from pigeons. As for the food, there are decent croquetas, grilled octopus, and a glorious whole lobster bathing in its own juices. But make no mistake, you’re here for the assortment of excellent oysters and that view." - rianne shlebak, jake missing, sinead cranna
"If you take umbrage with the word ‘vacay’ then we can only apologise for the next sentence. Seabird is a sunny vacay masquerading as a Southwark rooftop, serving huge lobster dishes alongside BIG VACAY ENERGY cocktails. There is something so gloriously escapist about the foliage, cushions, and oil-loaded seafood dishes. It also happens to be one of our favourite places to eat oysters in London, especially if you’re getting involved in the Louët-Feissers." - jake missing, heidi lauth beasley, sinead cranna, daisy meager
