"Like many of the other restaurants on this list, Seafood Kitchen has been serving up seafood dishes for for several decades. Guests can dine on dishes like whole belly clams (no clam strips here), perfectly fried whole snapper, and deviled crab." - Megan duBois

Perfect local spot in St Augustine! The food was fresh, plentiful, and delicious! We had the gator bites and conch fritters as an appetizer, and I had the chilled seafood platter as a main. The oysters were great, the shrimp was tender and juicy and the the crab (tons of crab!) was sweet and tender. The conch fritters were pretty amazing. Lots of peppers and onions in the mix but still had that conch goodness. Our server, Christie, was perfect. Attentive without being intrusive, speedy and efficient. She said she was new, but served us like a seasoned pro. Major props to her! It was full of locals (I assume) which is a good sign. It did not disappoint. Great experience and well be back if we're in town again.

3.21.2025, we arrived at around 8:00 p.m. It was our first time. We had about a 20 minute wait for two people. Our hostess, Mallory arrived to our table in less than 2 minutes to take our drink order. For alcohol, they only serve beer and wine. I was disappointed that they didn't have Near Beer, the non-alcoholic beer. For an appetizer, we had the small crab cake bites (8 count), pound and a half each of the crab legs (three clusters) with a side of baked sweet potato, coleslaw, and collard greens, which was also the special tonight. Our food arrived in less than 15 minutes. Everything we ordered taste good. The crab legs could have been a little bigger. They were seasoned well, and the clarifird butter was definitely a compliment. Hush puppies and crackers come automatically with each meal. Mallory checked in on us throughout our dining experience but she wasn't overboard with it you know where they get on your nerves because they keep asking you how a is everything lol. The ladies bathroom was clean, the menus were clean, the condiment bottles were clean, overall the restaurant was clean, and I noticed that the tables were cleaned immediately after guest left. We weren't able to use our military discount tonight however, on Monday's the military discount is 30% off. Every night they have some sort of special. Our meal with appetizer came to $96, which to me was fair considering the taste, quality, and the amount of food given. We will be back!!!

5 Stars – A Must-Try Seafood Spot in Jax Beach! This was my second visit and once again, this place did not disappoint! The golden fried hush puppies and okra were absolutely on point—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The broiled grouper was tender, flaky, and cooked just right, and the cocktail shrimp? Phenomenal! Fresh, juicy, and served beautifully. I also had the raw oysters, which were nicely chilled and fresh-tasting—just the way I like them. You can tell everything here is prepared with care. If you're in Jacksonville Beach and craving high-quality seafood with a relaxed vibe, this is definitely worth the stop. Already looking forward to my third visit!

Google
If you’re looking for five star diamond and this is not the place but if you’re looking for great seafood, fast service and OK if you have to wait just a little bit to get the good food. This is your place. Even has some menu items for the non-seafood lovers in the family. This is a must when visiting Jax Beach.

Google
This is one of Jacksonville's best kept secrets! Where else can you get a dozen steamed or raw oysters for just $9!! With all the melted butter, horseradish, lemon, and crackers that go with it!! It was so good that we had 3 dozens!! At this time it's probably cheaper than eggs! LOL! We also had the fried mushrooms, Lump Crab Stew, and Softshell Crab sandwich with baked potato and coleslaw. They're all very good!! This place has been here for a long time now and it's showing its age. But because of the good food and great service, there's a wait line outside every now and then! Parking is easy and free. Check out their daily specials!

Google
After golfing, I had a local Golf Course assistant pro recommend the seafood kitchen to me. WOW , what a wonderful little gem /,hole in the wall. The food was delicious and the waitress Liz really made us feel special. I had blackened Grouper and it was the best I ever had. Will visit this eatery every time I am in this area. In fact, I enjoyed it so much. I went back six hours later and ate dinner. LIZ you are great.

Google
The service & food was amazing. We will definitely be back next year.

Google
The fried blue crab bites were super good. He ordered boiled crab because he has never ordered them. He wish he had ordered the fried. I think it's same taste at any restaurant. Not good. He loved the greens. The seafood Au Gratin would have been fantastic without the fish in it. I really liked the flavor with the crab and shrimp. Yummy. Baked potato was normal. Cole slaw really good. Hush puppies really good. Staff fantastic. Clean restroom. Beer cold. Waitress deserve ls a raise. No wait. We sat ourself :) would recommend!

Yelp
First time to eat there, but we are ready to go back! Lobster was on Point, seafood poboy, and the service was exceptional!

Tiffany L.

Yelp
I happened upon this seafood restaurant in Neptune Beach. It's quaint, friendly, and the hospitality is great. They provide a lot of seafood options. All of the seafood is fresh. I don't typically eat a lot of fried food, but if it's fried food you want they have it here. The calamari was my favorite menu item and the greens. The fish could have been seasoned more, but I understand to accommodate the masses less is best. They have garden salad options which were also tasty and fresh. If you're in the area it's worth a try.

Karen S.

Yelp
Quality of seafood here is unmatched. You can tell everything is fresh and cooked to order, well seasoned, and good portions. The mayport shrimp in my opinion are the best thing on the menu, fried or grilled are great. The sweet potato fries were so good, you can tell they're not from some frozen bag but that it's a real potato. Interior is very casual and shack like, which adds to the experience. Our server was great and very attentive even though the place was packed for father's day.

Dave J.

Yelp
The food is always excellent, the standard I use when eating seafood at other restaurants. Nothing trendy, nothing gourmet. You know the fish shrimp etc just came off the boat at Mayport, As for the atmosphere, you know this is where the locals eat, unlike the chain seafood places, If you go at lunchtime you will see working people, military, shipyard workers, police etc.

Michelle D.

Yelp
So I found this place after googling the location of the church on the corner. I didn't know the actual one I wanted was across from this place. I also ordered the crab legs because when I called to find out if they were out, they said no, just no more 12.99 a la carte. They asked if I wanted old bay seasoning. Never heard of that, like where the butter sauce or mild? Lol The sides were a baked potato and applesauce. They gave me coleslaw.

Mellissa D.

Yelp
There seems to be ALOT of employee turnover here. I frequent Seafood kitchen often because my Mom loves to eat here (sometimes multiple times a week!) I've seen numerous wait staff come & go over the past several years. Could possibly be the median age of the staff vs the avg age of the customer group. Young vs older Restaurant is ALWAYS busy. Food is good and never enough room to finish it all! One complaint about the food --- the raw oysters have been ridiculously small the passed few times we've ordered them. Personally, I feel like the ambiance is lacking. I feel like the restaurant is so small and they try to cram as many people in as they can at the same time. It seems like you're sitting on top of each other! Bathrooms ALWAYS seem unkempt.

Earleen H.

Yelp
I haven't eaten there in several years, but recently purchased something for a neighbor having a medical procedure. The place has been spruced up since I was last there and I will most likely visit to eat in in the not too distant future. The choices in seafood are numerous and everything is fresh. The service was excellent with sauces of each kind provided since I had no clue of their preferences.

Yelp
I was returning to NY later on that day from JAX and meeting up with an old coworker and his wife, and they mentioned Seafood Kitchen was an old favorite of theirs when once upon a time they frequented the area. I arrived just before noon and the place already had more than several tables full of patrons. i could tell these were regulars and they were preparing to CHOW down. Apparently on this day, was a lobster special and it was something wild like 22$ for a whole lobster and etc etc. don't quote me but it was a good bargain. I was not able to partake on the bargain bc it would have been too much food and i had still a long beach day ahead of me. i believe we had fried alligator as a starter and Harold and his wife had the grilled shrimp. I enjoyed the grits very much. The stuffed shrimp were excellent as was the homemade ice tea. Everything was fresh and not at all greasy. Staff was friendly and welcoming and on point.

Alycia H.

Yelp
The restaurant is extremely small, but my wait was not long at all. I really enjoyed my seafood, everything was really fresh and delicious. Our waitress was super down to earth and cool. The atmosphere was pretty bland there wasn't any music playing or anything, but if you're just looking for a great meal this is definitely the right spot.

Charlotte P.

Yelp
Yummy.. seafood kitchen you never disappoint. Thanks for great food and awesome service. The Texas Oysters were delicious, Mayport Shrimp always the best!

Robert A.

Yelp
Good stop for seafood prices have gone up after covid virus days. Our family always came here. Nice service from waiters.

Sheila D.

Yelp
My first and probably my last visit. I went there about 3:30pm. I was greeted upon arrival and instructed to pick any table, which I did. Only one other table was occupied and the speed of the service was excellent. Allie came right over with a menu. After ordering I checked the bathroom and it was clean with soap and paper products, so I used it . They have two televisions on in the back that appeared to be muted with low volumed music coming from speakers some where. Thursday is whole Lobster for $22.00, so I decided to indulge. Bad decision!!Apparently they "boil" the lobsters in plain water!!! I've never had a more water-logged bland lobster, ever! I seasoned the butter (unsalted, I believe) with hot sauce. I wasn't told that I could have had something else such as Old Bay to help with the flavor until I was almost done. The texture of the claws was decent, but the tail was tough and chewy! When my server asked how the meal was, I was honest. She seemed disappointed and a bit irritated with my answer, but didn't offer a reason for me to come back. I did place a to-go order for my husband, to give them another chance to try it. I got him the stuffed Trigger fish, deviled crabs, and fried shrimp (his favs) so he could try them out too.He told me the meal was "OK". I really wanted to like the food here and the reviews were excellent. I should have read some throughly so I might have been happy with my meal. Bottom line for me is it wasn't worth what I paid. Read the reviews and unless you like plain tasting boiled lobster don't order it.

Angela H.

Yelp
The food here is always on point. Fresh, hot. and delicious. I love to get one of the seafood combo plates, the deviled crabs are to die for. Also if you like dip then try the smoked fish dip, so good. The restaurant itself is kind of small and gets really busy so you may have to wait. But it's so worth the wait. The service is always amazing. One of the best seafood spots in Jax.

Weston W.

Yelp
Had lunch here today. There were about 11 of us. Food was spot on! All came at about the same time, fresh and hot. Service was excellent. She took very good care of us even though it was very busy. Kudos to Seafood Kitchen and staff. We will definitely be returning!!

Maya C.

Yelp
My mother brought one of our mutual friends here on a whim and they both loved it. I was skeptical of the place but that was only due to my own ignorance. She wanted to go back here for her birthday and I was open to the idea, what the heck. I'd check it out. In the past, I'd head over to The Fish Co. and not even give this place a second thought. I've changed this line of thinking since then. The place inside was pretty small and real hole-in-the-wall looking so in my mind right then, I knew the place must've been good. Seeing their awards on the wall quickly shut me up. Also, I didn't know that they were a sister restaurant to OP Fish House. Now you have my full attention. We sat at a four seater in the corner near the front. The staff is really sweet. Our server recommended their Mimosas to us and the Berry Mimosa was right up my alley. Mom had a sweet with lemon and they brought her extra lemons. The server even refilled her tea when it was half-way full. Talk about attentive. We started with their mozzarella cheese sticks which were meh but still good. I had decided before I got to the restaurant that I was gonna try their Triggerfish if they had it available and luckily they did. I don't remember having it before but now it's on my list of whitefish I like. This fish was seasoned and cooked perfectly. No blandness or burnt-ness. Also shoutout to whomever did the collard greens because they were on point! My mom was afraid to order them as a side with her Stuffed Shrimp dinner due to knowing that "not everyone knows how to prepare and cook'em right". These were super cleaned and nicely seasoned. Our food took a little longer than normal to come to our table but our server let us know that the chef apologized for the wait. She stated that he had to do a big, complicated order ahead of us so he comped us desserts. Much appreciated. I took home their Key Lime pie and much of the meringue on top melted, but I happily ate it either way. So if you're heading to the beach and want some good seafood at a good price, definitely stop by here. I'll be back.

Yelp
"And the Sea will grant each man new Hope...As sleep brings dreams." Christopher Columbus. Sean Connery as Captain Marco Ramius in the closing scene of Tom Clancy's The Hunt For Red October. Hope... Like Princess Leah's white knuckle clasp of the Death Star plans at the end of Rogue One. That a seaside city can deliver the treasures from the deep. That you're paying for more than just an old net on the wall or a porcelain Conch . A gimmick. 14 years ago my sister-in-law ordered delivery from Seafood Kitchen. It was fried Snapper and fries. To this day it was the most memorably delicious fish I'd eaten. So much so that I've recommended based on that singular experience emphatically many times, not knowing if I was even slightly off base. Hope and trust that I hadn't imagined it. After two failed attempts to try Syd and Linda's, 1st on a Monday(closed) and 2nd during mid-day Tuesday(closed 2-4:30), I made my bearing 315 directly into the path of Seafood Kitchen. Cloaked in mystery and oft described as a hole in the wall I expected this legendary sea fair to smell like low tide at Joe Carlucci's Ramp. Not at all and surprisingly bright and cheerful inside. I stopped at the counter and was politely instructed to seat myself. I chose a quiet table in the stern of the dining area. Moments later Lanie approached and introduced herself. A smile on her face and some sassy pink rimmed eye-glasses she gave me the day's specials and returned promptly with my sweet tea. I ordered as though I were Admiral Akbar about to take on the entire Imperial Galactic Fleet. The Seafood Combo...a quatrain of Grouper, Shrimp, Scallops and stuffed Crab shell. Like Coleridges "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" this aqueous odyssey seemed to have no beginning and no end. Succulent scallops and shrimp. An enormous filet plank of grouper. An overstuffed crab shell. Crispy plump Fried Oysters. Full flavor fore and aft! To the starboard was the typhoon class Crabmeat Au Gratin. A broad vessel of real crab meat, a layer of New England Clam Chowder and broiled with mixed cheese. My very first bite had visible crab claw meat. A baked masterpiece and very filling. In true southern-gringo-landfarer fashion I paired these merry mariners with Fried Okra, Cheese Grits, Coleslaw and Hush Puppies. Dessert was a sweet ode to my late father who loved Banana Pudding. A sweet treat he and I shared many memorable times at the Barkley Lake Lodge. This was the seafood experience I have waited years for. This was affirmation of mine and your countless recommendations. That on a Tuesday, mid-afternoon someplace in Jacksonville delivered a seafood meal worthy of all its previous acclaim. I don't do "Best". But this place's service, food and reputation are unsinkable. It was a hell of a day at sea Captain!

Connie W.

Yelp
Local Flavor. Really good seafood reasonable prices and generous portions. Good sangria. We would return.

Tina C.

Yelp
Upon walking in, it was a very casual place. We thought we order at the counter and then they would call us when the food was ready. Soon after a lady approach us and asked if we were dining in and told us to sit anywhere we like. This is a gem in hiding most definitely. It took quite a few minutes for someone to come to the table. Finally Lanie came and greeted us. She was so nice. She would check on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. Everything was delicious. The clam chowder was flavorful and plenty of clam meat. The stuffed flounder portion was huge for lunch. The whole fried flounder was very fairly priced and fried to perfection. I am saving this as my favorite place to dine when coming to Jacksonville FL

Halley B.

Yelp
I always love the food here, good price and locally sourced food. Wait staff is always quick and kind, and the bathroom is always clean. They have deals every day of the week, Wednesday is my favorite because they do half priced oysters.

Mike W.

Yelp
Tried this while on a beach trip, and I was not disappointed!I had the Snapper lunch platter and the wife had the Grouper Finger platter. The portions were large as we were able to take some home and eat it the next day. Lightly fried, seasoned just right and very fresh. I can't wait to visit again.

Jessica M.

Yelp
Amazing grouper bites, fried gator appetizer, and anything triggerfish!! Never had anything less than delicious.

Jo R.

Yelp
Love this upscale hole in the wall which serves delicious seafood. Great wait staff and always feel welcome. The crab stew is phenomenal. Just went for second delicious meal.

Macie K.

Yelp
Among arriving I knew this was a hole in the wall, but there was still a line. We got our name on the list and quickly enjoyed a corona while waiting. Our waitress Liz (who was awesome) greeted us with a smile! She gave us all of the recommendations & specials! She recommended me some great stuff (trust her)! I got the trigger fish blackened with an amazing sauce! With fries and coleslaw. SO good!! I can't say I had one bad thing here. My boyfriend got the popcorn shrimp it was awesome as well. I don't think you can go wrong here! 10/10

Heather H.

Yelp
I already knew what I came to Florida to do for my birthday month. Having lobster is definitely on the top of the list I am so so happy I picked this place. Everything is 100% LEGIT here. Arrived a little late but still got seated right away. The atmosphere is very Sea like and casual. I hope you get Erica the waitress, this lady knows her stuff in this restaurant and her city! The crab cake bites were just hot, full of crab flavor and came with the white dipping sauce. The lobster dinner had 2 hush puppies, baked potato and coleslaw. This dinner tasted just like I had imagined and it was phenomenal delicious. Super nice place and all the staff was on point and helpful to make this place my favorite in Jacksonville Beach.

Jasonhudd ..

Yelp
We try and search for the locally owned and well established restaurants when we go places. This place definitely did not disappoint. The service was awesome from waitress Kim. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. It was smaller and not very fancy but that's what drawn us to it in the first place. They even ask how much seasoning you want on your meal. Our wait time was not bad at all but they have a covered area outside to wait. I would highly recommend this place. I read that they have been in business since 1984 and it's like three generations of the same family, you don't do that unless the food is good.

Mechelle C.

Yelp
First time here. Parking is great! Staff is amazing and friendly. They answered all the questions our party had. Our drink were always filled and we were offered drinks to go. Kudos!!! Best service ever!!!! My daughter wanted crab legs, but they were out..... I ordered fish tacos & fries. Cole slaw tasted off so I didn't eat much. Tacos came out with lettuce and tomato and cheese. Creamy Salsa on the side was tasty. Sour cream packet on the side. It was very bland and dry. I could see seasoning but absolutely nothing tasty. It was disappointing. I'll come back here another time and update my review.

Catherine K.

Yelp
My husband and, visiting Jacksonville, decided to try Seafood Kitchen since they had 4.5 stars with 300+ reviews. We were not disappointed. I was delighted to order a 'lunch portion' for the smaller amt of food as well the as the smaller price. I just don't need that much food. Flounder, sweet potato and cole slaw for $15. Flounder was fresh, fried to perfection, sweet and tender. The sweet potato was small (YEA) and perfectly cooked. They brought us a basket of butter, sour cream, and crackers so both a baked potato as well as my sweet potato could be dressed perfectly. I look forward to going back. My husband does not like seafood so he had Captains burger with cheese, fries and apple sauce. He said the burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were hot and perfect. He too was very satisfied. We will certainly come back to Seafood Kitchen when we come back to Jacksonville.

Mike B.

Yelp
Seafood Kitchen is my all time favorite seafood restaurant. The service is usually 4/5 stars. Food is usually 4/5 stars. The crab stew is without a doubt 5+ stars. Now for the bad and it's not the restaurant's fault. I've been eating here for 30 plus years. Last night was the absolute worst experience. Sitting next to us on one side was a group of 4 preteen girls absolutely screaming at each other for 39 minutes. The "adults" in charge of these children were 3 to 4 tables away and showed zero attention to what was happening. In the nearest table was a young mother and father with two small kids, the youngest was maybe five. Both had there heads in cellphones watching whatever with volume on full blast and they could care less. It's a damn shame that people don't want to parent and a rude in public. My advice, don't go on Sundays.

Teresa C.

Yelp
Love to eat here! Food is delicious. Staff is super. Anytime I am in town, I always eat here.

Beth H.

Yelp
I have been loving Seafood Kitchen for many years. The food is excellent every single time. Service is great. The problem I noticed last time the other day is the filth. The big fish on the wall by the bathroom is covered in dust, the air vents and the ceiling fans are disgusting. So I can't help but wonder what the kitchen looks like.

Terron B.

Yelp
Seafood Kitchen has a special place in my heart. It is a place that's I've been going to since I was a baby. My family has always trusted the restaurant for their service and fresh mayport shrimp. The grouper and snapper have always been juicy and buttery when fried to me. If you want to try something different mix Tartar Sauce and Ketchup together and dip your Mayport Shrimp and fries in it. You'll thank me later!!

William H.

Yelp
How in the world do you cook dry fish? Seriously?!?! Shrimp Po boy was nowhere near as advertised. Menu said pickled onions, marinated tomatoes. Just bread, 2 lettuce leaves, 5 shrimp and 2 chunky pieces of tomato. Ridiculous cost for the brussel sprouts that came in the quantity shown in the pic.

Michael S.

Yelp
We had a great experience here. Mallory was our waitress and you could not have asked for a better person to take care of you. She suggested the right wine for my wife, described everything we had perfectly and paid attention to all of the details. She made sure my cup stayed full. When our meal came out they brought broiled fish instead of fried. We didn't say anything as we like both and just went with it. A few minutes later Mallory shows up with two pieces of fried fish as she had noticed the order wasn't right. Great experience at a local place and can't wait to go back. Food was awesome. Had the red shrimp for appetizer and seafood platter for dinner.

Mark B.

Yelp
Great seafood and service, usually served fast & hot. Great place that I've enjoyed for many years!!

Joe M.

Yelp
Was out at the beaches with the family's d wanted seafood. There's several options out there but I had heard good things about this place so we went to try it. Early on Saturday, hardly any customers in the restaurant when we got there. Place is a little old and rundown on the inside. Rust air vents hanging down. Bathrooms look terrible. But food is my main goal so on to the that .got calimari as an appetizer. Thought it was a little underdone, was pretty chewy though the flavor was decent. Got the blackened mahi and shrimp. 100% not blackened, Mahi had no real flavor at all. The shrimp were pretty good though I never seen a place butterfly the shrimp to pan cook them. Cheese grits were watery and no flavor at all. Baked potato, it's a potato so no complaint there. The hush puppies were the best thing on my plate. Crispy outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. I tried some of the Grouper from somebody in my group and it tasted and looked much better than the Mahi but still didnt appear to be blackened or not very much if so. Service was average. I had high hopes for this place based on some reviews I'd heard but was severely disappointed. I don't think I'll give it a second chance.

Olivia D.

Yelp
I saw other reviews and pictures and was confident it would be delicious but it was very very bad. I've had fried seafood to-go from several restaurants so I know that it won't be as crispy, but the Quality of the seafood should remain. The seafood quality was unbelievably poor. I got fried oysters and scallops and it was some of the worst I've ever had. Gummy, soggy fried oysters that were shriveled up and far from fresh and Scallops that were clearly frozen before. I also got grouper bites and I wish I hadn't. Maybe they're great in person, but the quality of the to go was a real disappointment. The only delicious thing was my baked potato.

Pat W.

Yelp
The service was awesome. It was not crowded when we arrived but filled up very quickly! The waitresses efficiently covered their tables and food was delivered very quickly. I had the deviled crab and shrimp combo. The shrimp was good. The deviled crab was mostly breading. My husband had the seafood platter which included fish of the day, scallops, deviled crab and shrimp. We were both stuffed when we left. We are planning on returning tonight for the appetizer and crab legs special!

Liz C.

Yelp
It is a total shame that I am only giving this restaurant a 2 star review because the food was really really good. However, when the service sucks, it deters you from ever returning. We had Erika who wasn't attentive to us at all. Avoided eye contact so that she didn't have to get us anything. I ended up having to ask another server for another drink and had to go to the counter for condiments. (We are normally really good tippers but I really didn't feel like Erika did much of anything at all.) on top of that, while we were ordering, she started walking away. (Who does that? Some people shouldn't be servers.) The beach has so many good options for food that this will not be a restaurant that we return to.

Abrahan S.

Yelp
On our last visit the table and the menus were sticky and the fish did not tasted fresh. Our food was not good at all. It was not appetizing to the point that I forgot to take a photo.

Tim C.

Yelp
Well, took a little bit to get here. Traffic after everyone gets off work is usually a pain anywhere. Well worth the drive. Military Monday has served me well. Just ordered my 3rd dozen fresh oysters. Brussel sprout appetizer was well worth it. Lots of flavor. Sprouts were sauteed with chunks of sausage, tossed in honey Dijon, and topped with goat cheese and a balsamic glaze. Got that information right off the daily specials board. Wait staff was on the button. Only thing I wanted, but couldn't have was a Budweiser draft. Menu included everything from fried to fresh fish, shrimp, Maine lobster, and deviled crab. Enjoyed it and look forward to exploring more.

Helen M.

Yelp
Went there on Wednesday, that's oyster special day but I didn't get oysters. They have a special each day. But I got the crab stew cup to start, Mayport Shrimp lunch portion with coleslaw and a baked potato. Crab stew was really good, real crab! The Mayport shrimp couldn't be better. Generous portions. The cocktail sauce and tarter sauce were delish and home made, not store brand. Liz was a great waitress and checked on me often. She also brought me a sample 'scallop fromage'. Scallops are not my favorite thing to eat but I gave it a try. It was amazing! I couldn't believe I ate a scallop and liked it! I'll be back! Sorry, no pic. I was hungry!

Lisa P.

Yelp
I know this sounds weird, but best chicken tenders I've ever had ever, they are flat fried, not crispy , crunctootootoo from here, crunchy on outside soft on the inside, and best hush puppies ever, sweet and crunchy. Try the chicken tenders you won't be sorry

John L.

Yelp
Really good golf coast style fried seafood. I make an appointment to drop by here every time I'm in Atlantic Beach

Olivia D.

Yelp
No frills, just great seafood! We went for the Wednesday oyster special, they were good but were shucked a little messy, shell fragments in the edible portion and a few had been cut up. I had broiled grouper, great portion and simple fish dish. Fries were great and baked potato looked great as well. I'll be back!

Eric B.

Yelp
Seafood kitchen was recommended to me by a local. The lump crab meat stew was thick, tasty, and loaded with crab meat and potato-based. The fried gator bites were delicious, and I preferred dipping them in the remoulade. The Mayport flounder was served with melted butter and broiled perfectly. A very generous portion was served. The greens side but I didn't care for the coleslaw. Lastly, the Keylime pie was outstanding. Delicious hush puppies and a horseradish based dipping sauce was also provided. I picked up my food, but there was plenty of room to be seated inside with beer and other drinks available. I would highly recommend this place for seafood.

Yelp
Great seafood. However a little pricey for the "hole in the wall" place that it is. Two entrees, two glasses of wine and you're looking at $100. In a big city this would be considered cheap. In Jacksonville Beach? A little pricey..But the food was definitely good.

Yelp
The food is always extraordinary! The waitresses are always welcoming and friendly! I love the little country feel of seafood kitchen and the fact you can casually dress and the food is just top notch. We always bring new people to this place!! Ambiance is wonderful!

Yelp
The Hush Puppies are pretty good. The coleslaw is heavy on the mayo. The blackened fish is unlike any blackened fish I've had. It was more like lightly seasoned grilled fish. Not blackened and not spicy.

Yelp
Gladly and I mean gladly will spend $60+ every time. Service and food is beyond worth it. The portions are crazy.

Yelp
Liz was amazing. She knew all the ins and outs about the menu and made our visit from upstate New York very special for us as we reunited with one of my favorite co-workers and my wife's favorite uncle. Both who reside in JAX. The seafood was out of this world as this place never ever disappoints!!!
