Part conveyor-belt hot pot, part Korean BBQ, Seapot is a lively AYCE experience; D Magazine spotlighted its broths and format, and locals add the grill option for sizzling chuck flap and brisket between slurps.

Google
I recently saw a video/review on IG and decided to come try it out. I think this is the BEST hot pot I've every had... it was amazing! My husband and I both got the spicy house soup (IT...IS...SPICY)! It was perfect for my husband and a little too spicy for me but I couldn't stop eating from it :D I love the conveyor belt! It has so many items to choose from! The sauce/side bar also has variety but i didn't really get anything just a couple of spring rolls. The meats are amazing, service was amazing. I loved it! It's a little out of our area but definitely worth the drive and for $19.99 a person, oh yeah!

Google
The restaurant is dark, modern and suitable if you want to go somewhere nice. We did bbq and hotpot so it was $50 per person. It’s very loud. The glasses were dirty. The soup items are on a rotating belt and you just grab what you want to add. One of our burner controls did not work. The waiter was very nice. The food was ok.

Google
We like this place. Went for lunch at 1100, and people already lined up at the front door. Friendly staff, the server was kindly to show us steps on what to proceed, and watch our table. It's fun, it's one of the kind, and it's in a great location. We will come back again.

Google
We were passing through and decided to visit Seapot. What an incredible experience! Loved the ambiance, the staff were wonderful. Special kudos to Thach who served us at our table. A combination of Korean bbq, sushi and soup bar. We loved it!! When I pass through Plano, we will visit Seapot again!!

Google
Food was great. Good service. Clean restaurant. The salad bar needed more attention, low on a number of items continously. Noticed a few servers handling brooms and then serving tables without washing hands. Overall a pretty good restaurant. We were a party of 6. 18% gratuaty was included in the bill, the server did not mention that when he dropped off the check.

Google
Seapot Korean BBQ and Hotpot offers a fun and interactive dining experience, combining the best of both worlds—grilling meats and simmering hotpot. The variety of ingredients available was impressive, with fresh vegetables, quality meats, and flavorful broths to choose from. Everything was well-stocked, and the self-serve setup made it easy to customize the meal exactly how I wanted. The service was decent. While the staff was friendly and generally helpful, they weren’t always as attentive as I would have liked. One of the standout aspects of the meal was the ice cream. It was a great way to finish off the dining experience, offering a nice variety of flavors. It’s a small detail, but it really added to the overall enjoyment. The atmosphere was lively, and the restaurant had a clean and modern setup, making it a good place for group gatherings. While there’s room for slight improvements in service, I still had a great time and would definitely come back. If you’re looking for a fun Korean BBQ and hotpot experience, Seapot is worth trying!

Google
Beautiful restaurant and great service! But very poor normal hot pot and BBQ at this price! Feel I paid for the atmosphere twice than the food! If you like good food, this is not your hot pot/ bbq place. You you like beautiful restaurants and cost $50 above per person, there you go!

Google
Cheap meat quality. The snow crabs were too salty. The sides they have at the sides/sauce bar were all room temperature which I hate. I don’t like room temperature at all! The egg rolls were not good. The crab wontons were good. The only meat I liked out of the bbq portion was the a1 steak. The galbi short ribs barely had meat on them. They were mainly all fat! Not worth the wait which was over 30 mins. The waiter recommended the thai soup and house soup. They both were mid. The noodles were bundled and tied up . We thought they would separate being in the soup for a while but it just didn’t. The waiter we had was ok. Overall I will not be coming back . I really wanted to love this place because of the hype but I just couldn’t .

Yelp
Really good food with a nice environment lots of options to choose from. One of the better hotpot places I've been. I come once a month

Yelp
Me and my husband visited this place for the first time and our server was wonderful! We explained it was our first time. It is definitely an experience and will definitely be back :) It is alot of food especially for 2 people. We both got the hotpot and the bbq and didn't realize how big the portions were till we got them, but, it was overall fantastic. Thank You so much!

Yelp
Food is great, best place to eat hands down!!! My 11 month even likes it. That says a lot cause she's picky.

Yelp
I went for Sunday barbecue and hotpot. Firstly, the service was really good. Attentive & courteous staff! I like the relaxed ambiance despite the place is packed-busy. Great selections of meats, vegetables, seafood, variety of noodles including zero carb shirataki! They also have a bar for appetizer, sauces, banchan, and deserts. I enjoyed the crab rangoon, egg rolls for the appetizers. Kimchi wasn't impressive, the radish was so good and cleans the palate it's a must at every table. 8 variety of soups, I ordered Mushroom soup and spicy miso and both hit the spot- they are good enough as they were but I always have to add some garlic, soy sauce & sesame oil to my soup and to marinade the pork belly with. I enjoyed the conveyor belt convenience keeping the taste adventure flowing. I can't name all that was there but I enjoyed the kabocha, the greens, quail eggs, shiitake mushrooms, lotus root slices, king mushroom, dumplings, lobster balls, there's 250 other things on there but I picked my faves to add to my mushroom soup.

Yelp
Picture it. It's starting to get cool in Dallas but it's still pretty hot... so what do you do? You eat hot pot or so say the Asians. You're supposed to eat hot pot to produce a copious amount of sweat so you can feel each and every breeze to make you feel better. Jen was our server and has been there since the beginning and honestly? She needs a raise. I thought she was a manager or a lead with the way she presented herself on Tuesday but alas, she's not. If you don't give her a raise or a day off I will riot with my friends, and I've quite a lot! Anyways. Here's to a review. Walking in can be very overwhelming; you have to check in with a kiosk and input your information to make a reservation. They'll contact you via Yelp and contact you that way. If you're bored and parched sit by the bar with their expansive shelf of libations for them to concoct. I had asked for a highball and my bartender almost shook it. Maybe a little more education for them could help but all in all it was what I needed. Sitting down to these giant tables you've got an individual stove for just you and your friends instead of sharing one giant pot. To the end of the booth a conveyor belt is spinning round and round for veggies, noods, and other sides for your delectable soon to be meal. One giant menu is produced for your hot pot AND Korean bbq meats. I love their garlic shrimp and teriyaki salmon for the grill and will sometimes grill them to toss them into my pot for extra umami. All in all, it's a fun time with good people.

Yelp
Finally got the chance to try this place! This has to be one of my favorite hot pot place. The food was fresh, they had a fresh bar with a variety of foods for all, and the sauce bar was amazing. Our waiter was super helpful, he was able to suggest that my son and I could share since he's only 4. The restaurant eat huge and the biggest attraction for us was the converter belt. Pretty cool place. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Was visiting some friends in Dallas and decided to check this place out. The meat selection was probably my favorite of the experience here in comparison to some hotpot places I've been to in Houston. We kept the orders for the Toro beef rolls coming! The herbal broth was pretty good as well. A neat part of this place is the conveyer belt to grab all the rest of the hot pot fixins. If it was just the a small group, maybe 4 people, a cool gimmick. But with our group of 8, it was more of a hindrance. Would have preferred to get up and grab it myself from a table. Despite that, loved the selection of seafood, veggies and other fixins they had available. The line for the sauce bar could really you use some work, multiple times through the night the line wrapped around the place and there were no sauce dishes at one point. It was a very busy night when I went, but I've been to busier hot pot places that never had a problem like that. Dessert bar was also okay, did not care for the options besides the sesame balls, which were great. Also, eggs are an extra charge. Never been to a hotpot place where they charge extra for an egg. Overall, a good hotpot place if you're craving it and it's not busy, but do I think it's worth the over hour wait we had to be able to eat? No.

Yelp
Been wanting to try this place for a long time but never did due to how hard is to get a spot. We came for an early dinner on a Friday to beat the rush and the wait wasn't long, about 15 minutes. Once we sat down our waitress was really friendly and helped us get settled right away. We only got the hotpot and not the bbq. You get to order your broth and the cuts of raw meats you'd like for the hotpot to your server and everything else is either on the conveyer belt or the sauce station. There's a lot of variety at the sauce station, it really has everything you need. There's also sides there such as kimchi and seaweed salad, and crab legs. Desserts such as grass jelly is also there too which is a plus. All the items on the conveyer belt is fresh and we had a great time eating there. While it's crowded and the music was playing, we were still able to hear each other pretty well across the table. Overall I think it's a great place to go if you're looking for an all you can eat spot, just account for the wait time.

Yelp
Love going here for lunch! We usually get the hotpot & kbbq combo because you can't beat that deal! Expect a bit of a wait, but fret not since they run through the waitlist very efficiently! Ambiance is lively and can get a bit loud sometimes. However, service is always attentive and great! When you get to your booth, the server sets you up and asks for your orders. We love the chuck flap here for kbbq. For hot pot, we love the miso soup and healthy herb soup bases! There is a conveyer belt that runs through each booth, and you pick items there for your hotpot! The items are always fresh and tasty. There is also an extensive sauce bar for dipping, hot food station, and jelly dessert station! Their hot foods are actually solid--we love the crab rangoon! Will always recommend this place!

Yelp
Staff were very attentive and friendly . Must eat in an hour and half but hot pot selections of veggies and other options are on a conveyor held which isn't always full with all the options. Sauce selections were good. Dessert options were limited . But pots was good flavor but very fat for the grill and didn't like the fat that they put all the meat on the grill for us so it was all done . Would have like to do it ourselves so we could eat it at our pace. Hot pot selections were good. And looked fresh . Over all was good . Restaurants looked clean and gave off a good vibe. Bathroom were clean and over all nice place.

Yelp
Service bad, not professional with customers, like discrimination customer come and eat

Yelp
Good hot pot and kbbq place! When we got here about 6.15pm today (Friday), it was pretty busy already. Lucky there's a waiting lounge so it made it easier to kill time. Food wise it's really good and you get a lot for $37 something a pp. I like the Tom yum base and my bf loves his house spicy base. I think the kalbi is really good here and encourage you to get it. If you want amazing service, ask for Billy! He is literally the best- water always filled, so funny and polite, ready to make sure you have a good meal!

Yelp
I finally was able to try this place out and I was shocked at how large of a restaurant this is! There were rows and rows of booths with the revolving plates for hot pot going around. It feels contemporary without going overboard. Clean and sleek. We were sat toward the middle and the table fit 4 people comfortably. I loved that the tables weren't crazy big considering it has to accommodate 4 individual hot pots and a kbbq grill plate. I felt like I could have a normal conversation instead of shouting and standing just to reach the grill. The meat was fresh and tasty. The meat was fresh and a good portion. They weren't skimping out on you. You can choose just hot pot or just bbq and for $5 more you can do both. The hotpot ingredients are on the conveyor belt so you can grab as much as you can eat.

Yelp
Love this experience..best of all. Even at the busy time. The ambiance is great. And the food is wonderful.. very enjoyable.

Yelp
It's a little pricey, but I think the value is there. Very fresh, lots of selections, very fun experience. Good to go with a group of people.

Yelp
Fresh meats for our individual hotpot and the conveyor belt was filled with different vegetables and seafood. There's a wide variety of ingredients to make your sauce. The service was top notch. Special thanks to Billy!!! The restaurant is spacious with plenty of parking. Overall an amazing experience!!!

Yelp
All you can eat hot pot! (And kbbq if you add it for $5 more) Was my first time experiencing hot pot on a conveyor belt! I love it, it's so convenient to take whatever I want to eat. Be sure to finish your food because wasting does cost extra. They have a sauce station at the front to make your own dips and you order meat from the server. The place is spacious and there are lots of tables but still be sure to get a reservation because we walked in in the morning and there was already a wait.

Yelp
Finally got around to trying this place. I've driven past it a few times and a friend suggested we go. Wait time was about an hour on a Sunday at 6:30. Not too bad in my opinion because it was definitely packed in there. I've never done hot pot yet and was super excited for it. The waitress gave us a good rundown of the menu and we selected our options. I went with the spicy Thai broth and I got pork belly as my hot pot meat. For my K bbq I went with beef finger short ribs as my first meat. The revolving belt of other foods that come by are free to grab anything you want to add to your hot pot. I loved this idea. Only thing that sucked was there was a lot of things that I didn't know exactly what they were and they weren't labeled. However, that had a great selection. I got shrimp, blue crabs, two type of noodles, mussels, various veggies, and other toppings from the revolving foods. They also have a sauce bar with hot items at the end such as, crab Rangoons, steamed snow crab, chicken nuggets and other items. There were so many different sauce choices I didn't know what to pick. This is also a place you need to come to hungry, I made the mistake of eating a big lunch before I came here and next time I'll come empty because it was so much food that I felt I didn't even make a dent in it. My hot pot was so delicious. I loved all the options I chose. They do not do Togo as many places as this don't and they will charge you if your order up a bunch of meats and don't cook them. We didn't finish all of our food but we didn't cook it all and tried our best to finish so we weren't charged for that. Also there is a 90 min limit on the hot pot which is more than enough time of course. I really loved everything I tried and I can see why this place was so packed. Cant wait for round two here.

Yelp
Food was good, just wish there was more options: we got there during transition of lunch and dinner and the belt was empty. Server was Terry he was absolutely not attentive and was busy talking with a friend a few booths down. Our table remained full of empty plates that were never removed the entire time we set there. I'm extremely disappointed in the service and quality of food.

Yelp
This is our family's go-to spot for celebrating special occasions. It's more than a meal...it's an experience. We do the hot pot and Korean bbq combo so that we can enjoy all of the options. Food for the hot pot is transported to your table via a constantly moving conveyor belt. Food options constantly pass by your table: noodles, clams, mussels, shrimp, dumplings, tofu, vegetables, etc. You simply pick the ones you want & drop them in the pot. There are 6 broths to choose from and my favorite is the Spicy Thai. There are also great options for the bbq portion as well - pork belly, brisket, salmon, different marinated chicken options & even wagyu beef. The vibe of the restaurant is very fun and the service is typically pretty good and friendly. You do have a time limit, since it is buffet style and they enforce it, allowing you to cook and eat for 90 minutes. This place is definitely on the pricier side. Lunch ranges from $21-$26 and dinner/weekends are at $31-$37. But for a special occasion or fun night out, it's definitely worth considering.

Yelp
We came by for lunch on Friday. The restaurant was pretty busy. The interior is huge with 50+ tables that can comfortably seat 6. There are also even larger tables near the front that can probably seat up to 10. There are sofas by the bar for those who are waiting to be seated. Each table has stoves for hotpot, a grill for BBQ, and individual controls for each. There's a novelty conveyor belt system that delivers vegetables, mushrooms, and noodles. There are three separate bars--a sauce bar, sides bar, and dessert bar--located at the front. Hotpots are personal-sized. I ordered the pork stomach broth, which was pretty good. I loved that it was filled with a strong white pepper flavor. I ordered lamb and beef toro. The lamb was pretty good, but the beef was just alright. Don't get me wrong - everything was fresh, I just wouldn't get the beef again. The dessert bar turned out to be surprisingly good. Everything comes in tiny portions, probably to prevent food waste. One downside was that the hotpot took a while to boil. I think I waited nearly 10 mins on the highest setting (P6). Another one is that the vegetable options are super limited - there's only Napa, broccoli, and corn. The conveyor belt also lacks covers for each individual plate, which felt a bit unsanitary after the whole pandemic experience.

Yelp
Quantity over Quality Fun for a group in a loud and packed atmosphere. AYCE Hot Pot and/or Korean BBQ. Our party tried the BBQ and walked away disappointed. The selection of meet was limited compared to like business. While the octopus, squid, and beef bulgogi was good along with the salmon. The steak, pork bulgogi, and a few others were not memorable. The service was fast and our server offered up suggestions and steered us away from anything chicken. Good call! No complaints. While we won't go back for the BBQ based on better experiences within a reasonable drive, we do want to try the Hot Pot.
google avatar

Shirley S.

Yelp
I was skeptical of this place at first because I'm generally not a huge fan of all you can eat but I was very satisfied! Meat came out fresh and most of the vegetables on the conveyor belt were fresh as well. I eat a lot of veggies when I eat hot pot so not having to always wait for the server to bring them out was a huge plus. I got the healthy herb soup as soup base which was tasty and flavorful and complemented the ingredients very well. It was a fun place to go and I'd definitely go back!

RIZA L.

Yelp
Second time in this place but we went for lunch which has a good deal $19 for hot pot and add $5 for the korean bbq. I got the spicy thai soup which was delish. I mixed some quail eggs , fish balls, mushroom , toro meat and tendon! For the bbq we got pork jowl and the rib finger. The hubby made some dipping sauce from the bar and it complemented all the meat and fishballs. At a separate bar you make your sauce and you also have some dessert. I tried the tea like dessert with jelly and red beans. The service was ok , i was thinking it would be faster compared to the first time we had visited. Good thing there were only quite a few tables filled at 3 pm so even if the service was a bit slow it was ok.

Yelp
Place is rude and too long of wait for decent hot pot. Poor management is killing their business. I went here to have Sunday lunch with family and brought my coffee mug. After they seated us they told me I cant bring outside drinks, instead of telling us we cant do that while we were waiting for table. I did not want to walk back to the car so I poured my coffee out on the BBQ grill since we did not plan to eat bbq and had few sips left. Manager came over and started yelling at me why I would do that and got in a stance to fight me. Sorry but what happened to customer service? Another customer next table had to step in between us from getting into a phyical fight. Never will be going back to this business that treat their customers like enemies!
google avatar

Valerie V.

Yelp
This is my favorite Hot pot place. The kids get a kick out of the conveyor belt of items that you can add to your hot pot. The best deal is to go during the week for lunch. We decided to go on a Saturday for dinner and it was super busy. One round of meat was enough to feed us 3. They also offer rice. The cool thing is their buffet area that serves various items like chicken wings, snow crab legs along with dipping sauces to create your perfect sauce.
google avatar

Howard L.

Yelp
If you have ever been to Kura sushi, the set up is like that except the conveyor belts have little dishes of hot pot items and each person has an individual pot in front of them to fill with the hot pot items. If you go in more than a group of 2, the people who don't sit next to the conveyor belt will have to ask the others to grab plates and pass the plates to them, so I suggest having the people who eat the most sit on the side nearest to the conveyor belt. Technically, there's a 90 minute time limit, but that really should be plenty of time for you to be full. Additionally, there's an optional Korean grill set up in the center of the table for an extra charge, so if boiled food isn't satiating your appetite, you can also opt in for the grill option. Just note that everyone at the table has to agree whether to opt in or not.

Yelp
Always a Great Experience! I always come here for the all-you-can-eat hot pot and BBQ -- it's one of my favorite spots. The food is delicious, fresh, and there's always a great variety to choose from. The service is consistently good, about 90% of the time. There have been a few times where it seemed like the staff was a little overwhelmed, but I understand things can get busy. Overall, the team is kind and hardworking. Tonight's visit was wonderful -- everyone was so welcoming and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. This is such a great place to bring family and share a good meal together. Highly recommend!

Yelp
My sister and I came here for an early dinner. This place is very busy and has a waiting list , so next time we chose a Korean bbq with hot pot in this area, we will choose to come here but we'll sign up for the waiting list on line. The food here is delicious and fresh. So yes it was worth getting on a waiting list. It's definitely an experience. To me this place gave off a club vibe . Music, atmosphere waiting area and bar. The tables have stove top heating elements for the hot pot and the center has a round grill to bbq your meats. On the side of the table is a conveyor belt of different veggies and seafoods to add to your hot pot. The wait staff is very attentive, they are available for extra meats for the grill and keep your water glass full.

Yelp
This is in response to Zhen H's feedback. "We kindly request that you reach out to us at seapotplanotx@gmail.com so that we can address your concerns directly." There is literally no reason for that. Just address my concerns directly by improving all the points I made already. I enumerate the points again. (1) When customers order meat, make sure it gets there quickly preferably not by the time the meal's over (1-2 hours later). (2) Have all the sauces ready and properly labeled. This is standard. (3) Have things come out faster. Whether this means hiring competent workers or having more staff. Be there to ensure this is happening. The staff reflects leadership so be a good leader. (4) Change out BBQ cooking plates regularly. Ask first of course. (5) Make sure every bowl is clean! It's embarassing I even need to type this. (6) Rice cannot be hard to break your teeth. Make sure it's fresh.

Yelp
Love this place! I prefer hotpot, my husband prefers kbbq so we negotiate and get both! Doing both is only $5 more. On a Saturday dinner it was $35 each person for AYC kbbq and hot pot. It was so busy and we waitied a good 30minutes. Incredibly, the staff is still quick and helpful. You can make your own sauce at the sauce bar and there's a conveyor belt to grab all the veggies or noodles you want so food is readily available! I got the Thai soup and my husband got the pork soup. Both of us enjoyed what we got and left verrryyy satisfied. The restaurant is large, open, and has a nice bar

Yelp
Great place. WAY better than the Nan place down the street, no matter what the Nan manager tries to tell you.

Yelp
My family went to Seapot in Plano for some hotpot on a chilly day. Even though we had a party of 16, we came early enough to get seated before the rush. They have a revolving belt that comes with plates of veggies, dumplings, noodles, and other sides to put into your hotpot. You get an individual pot here and I got their miso soup base. They have a sauce bar to create your own dipping sauce as well as some appetizers. This place is all you can eat so you just order meat and they'll bring it out to you. My favorite meat was the beef toro. If you like your meat with some fat, this one is very good. I thought the rest of the meat was just ok. My table was near the very end of the revolving belt so most of the items were gone, so that sucked. I really liked their dessert, I got some coffee/milk tea jelly with some grass jelly and added some red bean and sesame seeds, it was very refreshing.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting Sea Pot! It was a very pleasant experience and I would come back again. Ambiance: There is a louder noise level with music and talking. The restaurant is huge and there is a lot of seating. The wait for dinner time on Friday was around 20 minutes. The service is fine but nothing too great. Meat: The meat for hot pot was all really good! I personally loved the Angus prime. The meat was really tender and not too fatty. I ordered that one multiple times as it had such nice flavor and texture. Hot pot: I got the miso soup broth and it was honestly such a great choice. The broth was so flavorful and it added so much flavor to the meat. I loved how the sauce was customizable and I made my own concoction that tasted amazing paired with my meat and veggies. The only downfall is the line for sauces or extra dishes was really long. Although, I liked how the hot pot sides were on a conveyor belt so it was easy to access and quicker than the sauce line.

Yelp
I came with a larger party so that might have contributed to my mixed review. The interior of this place was quite beautifully decorated. We arrived around noon, which allowed us to see the restaurant before it became too crowded. The initial atmosphere was pleasant, with empty tables and an intriguing revolving area for side dishes like vegetables and noodles. As the meal progressed, the restaurant began to fill up, and this is where some difficulties emerged. The most significant issue was the incredibly slow meat service. As a large party, we found ourselves in a frustrating cycle of ordering food, eating quickly, and then waiting a pretty long period of time for the next round of meat. This prolonged waiting time meant we didn't get to consume as much food as we'd hoped especially given the limited time for AYCE. The servers were consistently friendly and pleasant, which was a positive aspect of the dining experience. The restaurant did offer an impressive array of side dishes, including various vegetables and accompaniments. However, for a hot pot restaurant, the extended wait times for meat orders significantly detracted from the overall dining experience.

Yelp
This is the type of place you come to when you want a dining experience. Our server was awesome at helping us navigate both the Korean BBQ and hot pot options. He suggested half orders on the BBQ so we could try various meats to get an idea of what we liked. The hot pot portion was entertaining as you start with a flavored broth and then pick items off the conveyor belt that goes by your table, or from the food bar at the front of the restaurant where you can create different dipping sauces. For the hot pot, my husband went with the Thai Pot and I did the Healthy Herb Soup - we both liked our selection. For our meats, we did the Rib eye and pork shoulder. They both had great flavor. For the BBQ, we did the Beef Bulgogi, Garlic Chicken, Pork Belly, and Garlic Shrimp. Our favorite was the beef and pork belly. Our least favorite was the shrimp (a bit too gritty for our liking). When we next visit, we'll likely just go with the hot pot option as there was plenty of food that way and we didn't even come close to trying all of the options. You are limited to an hour and a half at the table since it is all you can eat. They also have a charge for food waste so you want to be smart about how much you order. The ambiance has a bit of an eclectic vibe and the music was pumping during lunch!

Yelp
Huge space with a lot of tables! Went for lunch at 11:30am and quickly got a table for 6. I noticed they also have tables for 10 as well. You can do either hot pot or kbbq. We weren't allowed to pick one or the other so our whole table did hot pot. The Tom yum broth was really good. You order the meat from your server and the vegetables and seafood come on the conveyor belt. There is also a serve yourself sauce bar. I believe it was $35pp for hot pot so it's a fair price.

Yelp
A great dining experience. My visit was impressive Atmosphere The first thing that struck me was the stunning interior decoration. The design choices are beautiful and add to the overall dining atmosphere. One of the standout features is the vapor or smoke effect machine I don't know exactly which, it creates an illusion of a never ending flame. This unique element sets the tone for an experience that feels both modern and immersive. I like the bar and lounge area near the entrance, offering a cozy yet stylish space where guests can relax while waiting for their table. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a drinks and watch the games. The chandeliers add a great touch to the room, creating a mysterious glow that enhances the chic vibe of the restaurant. Service Service at Seapot was great. Our waiter, Billy, deserves special recognition for his attentive and knowledgeable approach. He struck the perfect balance between being helpful and unobtrusive, making sure we had everything we needed without interrupting the flow of our meal. His expertise and attentiveness truly elevated our dining experience. The Food Experience Seapot's sauce bar has lots of options, offering a diverse selection of dipping sauces that cater to a variety of tastes. Each option was thoughtfully curated with the instructions on the wall, allowing guests to mix and match to create their perfect flavor profile. This feature alone makes the experience customizable and interactive. We were thrilled to find crab legs available during our visit! The fries were surprisingly delightful, perfectly crisp and seasoned, making for a great side snack. I chose the hot pot only option so we're not overwhelmed by both, the quality and freshness of the ingredients were great. The meats were tender, flavorful, and of high quality, added to the overall taste of the broth. The conveyor belt, offering a great selection of fresh items, was filled with great stuffs. Particular highlights for me were the fish and meat balls, which had great flavor, and the mushrooms, which added a "healthy" earthiness to the broth. Seapot has captivating decor and superb quality of its food and exceptional service

Yelp
I have an obsession with this place! Since the cold weather hit, I've come almost every week. I love their broths, I always get the house spicy, and I love that we all get our own pot. The restaurant is huge and they're always very accommodating when my whole family comes (20+ people). Everything is fresh, just that sometimes there is a little inconsistency with what they have on their conveyor belt and the taste of the broth (a couple times I got house spicy and all I got was straight oil). I noticed that during the week, they're always missing an item that I normally grab on the weekends. Sometimes their sauce line has a long wait so I wish they had a second one given how big their restaurant is. Their BBQ is alright, nothing special, but places like this always excel in one vs another and we go here for the hot pot!

Yelp
Seapot in Plano is hands-down one of the best spots for hot pot and KBBQ in the area. Yes, the wait can be long--especially on weekends--but that just shows how popular and loved this place is. And honestly? It's 100% worth it. The food is always fresh, the broth options are flavorful, and the variety of meats, seafood, and veggies is unmatched. The conveyor belt adds a fun, interactive vibe, and the service is consistently friendly and attentive, even during the busiest hours. Once you're seated, the experience is top-tier from start to finish. Just be prepared to wait--and maybe show up a little early--but trust me, your taste buds will thank you.

Yelp
DFW has tons of family first dining options, and Seapot may be the new destination when extended family and friends visit. They have a fun, lounge where you can hang given longer waits on weekends. The biggest takeaway for our family was the conveyer belt of hot pot goodies that circle around the seating, which the little ones really took a liking too.

Yelp
Huge place with great service! Nice place to try hotpot for the first time or if you're a hotpot enthusiast! Love the conveyor belt for hotpot ingredients. Just choose whatever and whenever you want to try! Great selection of items (we came on a Sunday so it was dinner all day price and selection). Lots of seafood, veggies, meats, noodles, etc to try. We opted for paying an extra $5 for the Korean bbq too. Kalbi was nice and flavorful. Our first order of meat was excellent. The second time we asked for Kalbi, it was a bit too fatty (but we still ate it!). Pork belly was thin sliced. I prefer a thicker cut. I like their iPad waitlist service and waitlist on yelp. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Always a satisfying and enjoyable experience! From the sweet and creative bartender (Lily) and the friendly and attentive service (Jeremy), to the quality and selection of bbq/hotpot options. This place never disappoints!

Yelp
My friend and I are regulars at Haidilao, but we've never really tried an AYCE hot pot place before, so we decided to go to Seapot because of all the videos I've seen on TikTok and Instagram -- and we're glad we did! We went on a Saturday right at 11:00 AM right when they opened, and it quickly filled up, which was a good sign. Food: I opted for the spicy house broth, and it was the perfect level of heat, thanks to the Sichuan peppers and peppercorns. The revolving hotpot sides and seafood on the belt were a fun concept. I tried the beef toro, beef brisket, natural angus prime, and akaushi wagyu beef, along with the New Zealand lamb. The beef toro and wagyu were very similar, but the wagyu definitely stood out -- so tender and flavorful! The sides were also fresh and plentiful, which I appreciated. The sauce bar was decent, wished they had a little more, but it's definitely doable. The hot foods were mediocre. The little dessert bar was great as well! Service: Grace was our server and she was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and informative. She gets the job done and makes sure you're doing good throughout your entire experience. Ambiance: chill but fast-paced, as you'd expect from a busy, popular spot. It was fun and lively, without being overwhelming. Overall, Seapot is a good spot for AYCE hotpot. The food quality and service was well paired with the pricing!

Yelp
What sets a dining establishment apart of course is delicious and fresh food, but moreover, the service! Our server, Jin, was a superstar. He checked us on my friend and I often and made sure we never had to wait too long to get a new order or meat or a broth refill. Thank you Jin! Now on to the food. This is an AYCE establishment and we went on Good Friday so of course it was packed and we had to wait. But it wasn't too bad at all. The value is pretty awesome- you get all the hot top meats you want- and then the toppings come on a conveyer belt. For the meat you can order it as well and have it delivered one by one for the grill. The meats are fresh but their bbq cuts are thicker than most places but still tasty. I definitely recommend and will be back!

Yelp
I know people love this place but for me, it's total over stimulation - between the conveyor belt, all the plates of raw meat on the table and trying not to cross contaminate, having to tend to what you're cooking on both the grill and in the hot pot, the feeling of wastefulness, and if you have kids to help, that also adds to the stress. It's an experience, but not something I particularly enjoy. The wait staff were really nice and the restaurant was clean, but it's just not for me.

Yelp
The way this restaurant has a choke hold on my wallet is crazy. I come here twice a month at least and leave very happy. The food is great I always do the Korean BBQ and Hot pot which is a great deal for a $ dollar upgrade to do both. I enjoy the sauce bar and the appetizers that are provided with our meal. They also have a huge sign that has some sauce suggestions which is great. I do partake in the Soju which is a good addition to our meal. The servers are awesome very attentive and regardless of where you sit the service is A+. The restaurant has a huge TV screen that has the game on Sundays so that's fun. They also have a really nice bar and have specials throughout the week. I appreciate the restaurant vibe.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place out when it opened. I love hot pot, and also Korean BBQ. But hot pot is where my heart is. I came here with a group of friends on a week night, so we got seated quickly. The group wanted to do both hot pot and Kbbq. The sauce bar was nice, they have everything I need. There's also a few additional hot sides you can get by the sauce bar - chicken wings, kimchi, sesame balls, etc. I love that we don't have to get out of our seats cause the hot pot sides comes on the revolving belt. The meat quality is good for both Kbbq and hot pot. I recommend this place to anyone.
