Counting Down the Best Restaurants in Marietta | Eater Atlanta

"Brunch is serious business at the newly opened Season, where the biscuits are made from scratch daily. Appalachian-born chef Nick Jennings serves crispy duck and orange marmalade biscuit sandwiches (a Taste of Marietta 2025 Award-winner) and Mexican chocolate chicken n’waffles in a no-frills dining room that’s roughly the same size as the open kitchen itself. Coffee is no afterthought here, either, with monthly concoctions spotlighting seasonal flavors like peaches and cream milk tea or bacon and brown sugar cold brew, best enjoyed in a flight if you can’t make up your mind. Reservations are highly recommended, closed Mondays and Tuesdays." - Sarah Bisacca

Best All-Day Brunch Restaurants in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"Season has only been on the Marietta Square brunch scene for less than a year, but it’s already becoming a go-to OTP spot for its warm and unpretentious atmosphere. Helmed by Appalachian-born chef Nick Jennings, the menu skews homestyle with a culinary bent — think scratch-made biscuits stuffed with tender duck and orange marmalade or fluffy buttermilk pancakes served with a trio of rich sauces (whipped salted caramel, peanut-banana butter, and lemon clabber cream). Even the coffee has a chef’s touch with seasonally rotating flavors like spring’s caramel cream dirty chai and lavender cream latte gracing the menu. Can’t decide? Order an iced coffee flight, if you’ve still got room. Reservations are highly recommended, closed Mondays and Tuesdays." - Mike Jordan

Season: A Chef’s Kitchen absolutely delivered on brunch. Everything felt thoughtful, well-balanced, and made with real care. We ordered the Tamale Huevos Rancheros ($19) and it was outstanding. The handmade tamales were tender and flavorful, paired perfectly with the refried lentils and house-made salsa. The sunny-side-up eggs were cooked just right, with rich yolks that tied everything together. Add in the crema, fresh avocado, and crispy bacon, and every bite was comforting yet elevated. The Breakfast Tasting ($19) is a great option if you want a little bit of everything. We chose a pancake, which was golden and fluffy, and it came with two eggs, bacon, sausage, a buttermilk biscuit, creamy grits, colcannon, avocado, composed fruit, and yogurt with almond granola. The variety was impressive, and nothing felt like an afterthought—even the larder condiments were spot on. Portions were generous, presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were on point across the board. This is the kind of brunch that feels indulgent without being heavy, and clearly chef-driven. Highly recommend for a relaxed but elevated breakfast or brunch. We’ll definitely be back. 🍳🥞

You honestly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu—everything is amazing—but do yourself a favor and get a pancake. They’re hands-down the best I’ve ever had; I’m literally addicted at this point. The staff also go above and beyond with their service, which makes the whole experience even better. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially from Friday through Sunday, if you don’t want to wait too long!

I’d give this neighborhood gem more than 5 ⭐️ if I could. I enjoyed everything I tried, because it all tasted good. 👍🏾. I was all the more impressed to hear that majority of the ingredients are sourced locally which is hard to find these days. I gave the French toast entree a try and I really enjoyed the duck ham that came with it. It hits the spot. I also have a weakness for country fried steak, so I couldn’t resist the steak and egg biscuit. That made from scratch biscuit is perfect for this dish and I hope you’ll top it off with their fresh made blueberry 🫐 jam. There’s real whole pieces of blueberries in it. What a chill vibe this spot has, perfect for brunch. I also eyeballed someone else’s great looking burger, I mean it was astonishing so now I have to come back for lunch 🤣

Google
There should be a special rating for places that are truly unique and delicious. This is not your average breakfast spot. Be sure to make reservations. That’s right, make reservations. It’s worth the wait if you can’t. The breakfast tamales are a must. And the pancakes… just do it and thank me later. And they are not your typical southern buttermilk pancake, they are their own class of deliciousness. Like a cornmeal griddle cake and Dutch baby had a baby. They come with house made lemon curd, caramel, peanut butter, and maple syrups. All separate for you to indulge in each. And if that’s not enough, plantains to boot. Yes the food is amazing. But nothing compares to Sam. If you get him as your waiter, count yourself lucky. His joy and enthusiasm are infectious. Making the morning even more special. You can tell he loves being a part of this special place.

Google
I had only recently heard about Season, and my daughter and her friend asked to go there this morning early. We arrived and didn’t realize we needed reservations, but the staff was still able to get us in (make reservations!). AWESOME fare, rivals anything I’ve had in New York or San Francisco…but the linchpin is the staff. Happy, friendly, and helpful - just made you feel good being there. Thank you!

Google
This place is a hole in the wall and probably one of the best breakfasts spots I've ever been to! I got the Breakfast Tasting which gave me a chance to try so many things. The pancakes and biscuits are out of this world! The sausage is homage and amazing! The grits were fantastic too. My only issue with this place is that it is small so not much seating. Call ahead and make a resy.

Google
Perfect brunch spot! From the fluffy pancakes to the perfectly cooked cheeseburger, everything was spot-on. Loved the balance of sweet and savory options — and the coffee was top-tier. Highly recommend for anyone who loves a good brunch!

Google
I can’t remember a better breakfast to date. Everything from start to finish was wonderful. I started with the egg nog cold brew that had fresh nutmeg on top that I could smell with every sip. It was sweet but I like my coffee sweet so I enjoyed it fully. I got the chicken cordon bleu biscuit and omg…. I’ve never had anything like it and I want it again! This biscuit was a true culinary experience. The biscuit itself is was unlike any other biscuit I’ve had and I live in the south so I’ve had a lot…this one ranks up there in the top 3. The dough has a corn flour taste, a crusty, flaky outside and a cloud like center that melts on your mouth. The panko crusted chicken on the biscuit had so much flavor and was juicy and cooked to perfection. You can tell the chicken was marinated beforehand. The panko crust was crispy and fried to perfection. That paired with the rest of this breakfast cordon bleu concoction was out of this world! I didn’t want it to end. My partner and I split the Maduro pancakes and to put it simply, they’re a MUST! Again with a batter like I’ve never had before for pancakes. It’s almost indescribable but trust me, order them! This was the best food I’ve had in a very long time and I can’t wait to further explore the menu. The service is timely and warm. The atmosphere is small and charming. This is a must stop.

Yelp
Best Biscuit Ever...argue with yourself. Everything is delicious, the Duck Biscuit is my go to. I've included some pics for proof.

Yelp
We were driving looking for a place to eat outside Marietta and stumbled upon this amazing tiny cozy Brunch spot! No big sign in front of the store just a hole on the wall. Once you step inside you will have full view of the kitchen and the chefs busy cooking and at that moment you would know this is not your typical Brunch spot. The fact that they asked if we had a reservation was a clue. The place was super busy for a weekday. The food was delicious and presentation was even better. The biscuits with sausage gravy by far the best I ever had. Flacky and spongy biscuits were amazing. Chicken and waffles with the spicy sauce really good. Waffles and scrambled eggs with side order of fresh fruits plus granola with yogurt simply delicious. Everything was so fresh. I only wish there was a Season in my area. I love Brunch spots and can guarantee you won't be disappointed with Season. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
As I write this review I am eating my leftover egg biscuit thinking about how incredible everything I tasted at Season was. The pancake was crispy and unique. The waffle was a perfect combination of fluffy and crispy. The BISCUIT is still good the second time. My fiance had the whole duck biscuit and he said "that shit was fire. And it was the right amount of food." To top it off they had cute seasonal coffee and incredible service. Shoutout to the nicest guy in the kitchen: chef Robert!!!! I don't live near here but i will drive to take people here i love it so much my life is changed!

Yelp
This hole in the wall is a hole in one! Stumbled upon this amazing tiny small breakfast/brunch spot that seems to be a favorite by many. Non stop customers in and out for dine in and/or take out! When the food arrived and after the first bite, I knew why it's so popular. Service was perfect and the staff were friendly and kind making sure your water and coffee is always full! Chicken and waffle is amazing and tasty. Love their spin on it with their top secret sauce which was spicy so be careful if you don't have a high tolerance for some heat. But it's an amazing combination of heat and sweetness and creaminess from the orange cream cheese that's pairs very well with the perfectly crispy chicken and waffles. Highlight of the meal was the biscuit and sausage gravy. The best biscuits I've ever had that's perfectly crispy on the outside with soft and fluffy and buttery and moist crumbling inside. Amazing and a must try item just with the gravy or building your own biscuit plate!

Yelp
Delicious. Cute little place. Everything we had was so good. It is a little cramped but worth it! I also heard some talk of them expanding so that's great!

Yelp
Oh my gosh, I cannot say enough good things about Season. First off, the staff is amazingly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Then the food...just WOW! Whoever would have thought that this tiny, unassuming, neighborhood restaurant would be cranking out such innovative, delicious, consistently on-point, high quality food. The portions are large and nothing seems to ever be over looked. Seriously it's the little things, like coffee ice cubes in the cold coffee drinks. That just shows that they do that "little extra." Speaking of their coffee, they have their usual coffees, lattes, espresso, & matcha, but they also have an ever changing menu of four specialty beverages which you can either choose one, or choose a flight of all four. Hubby and I have become regular patrons of Season, and we can honestly say that we have never had a meal or beverage which we haven't thoroughly enjoyed. One thing to note, the restaurant is very small and extremely popular, so make a reservation if you plan to dine in. They do offer take out.

Yelp
Cute little spot we found in Marietta thanks to Yelp! The food was incredible and the cookie butter latte was delicious. We had the chicken and waffles and the shrimp N grits both were amazing and the portions were perfect. The staff is super friendly and gave us great service. I would definitely recommend Season and we will absolutely be coming back.

Yelp
This place is so good! The food was very yummy. Coffee was delicious. Service was Great! Our server was very nice and knew lots about the menu. She made suggestions and they were all so good. Very informative. Ambiance is cute and small in there. A little too small but hey worth it. Also it was cold in there. Not sure if it was because we were closer to the back door. Other than that everything was great I will be back very soon! Prices are fair. Food portions are very big.

Yelp
A very small space with limited parking. We came in a group of five and were able to get a table outside, though it was wet and we had to request it to be wiped off. Service was slow and not welcoming. There was a lady inside giving orders to people, not sure if it was the owner or manager but she was not very friendly. We asked if there was seat inside or a wait list and she said not until 1pm. That was when I asked if we could have the table outside as there was another group also dining outside. Server didn't come till much later, and also didn't bring many items until requested, such as water. I got the breakfast sampler. My fruits and yogurt didn't come until much much later, and the yogurt was hot. Our syrups also didn't come out until we were half way done eating a waffle. I will say the biscuit was very good! Warm and buttery and fluffy. I would also recommend the chicken and waffles. It was a little spicy which I like and the chicken was juicy and crispy. The matcha latte was a miss, only tasted of milk and sweetener. We were also never checked up on once. I had to go inside to get some items and also pay for the check. Upon leaving we also noticed the table behind us got place mats but we didn't. We did not even get any type of service which was a bummer. I really wanted to like this place as it seems like a small friendly establishment.

Yelp
Not sure how long the front door hinge has been damaged, but don't fling the door open. It's a small but warm and inviting. Once in you're iniside, the story gets better! Service is fast, friendly and hospitable. The food was plentiful and tasty! You can't go wrong with the biscuit combos for brunch! A notable item was their avocado toast! Parking is limited up front to about 4 spots.

Yelp
It actually funny because if I go to add photos of my food from here, the amount of photos is scroll worthy because I have been here so many times. I can't believe I haven't reviewed it yet! By far, the best and most innovative brunch spot in Atlanta. I have been to many. When I tell you they do not miss, I mean it. Almost everything here might be the best you have had. Even though I have tried so many of the items, by far, my favorite is the chilaquiles (did include a picture of this). I love them so much, I can't help but order them every time I go. I don't eat pork, so I always sub out for another meat and they have always been accommodating to do so! Coffees here are also very good, and I love that they are always coming out with seasonal drinks. I still need to try the matcha though! I tell everyone about this spot, and if you haven't gone, do yourself a favor and go!! Be mindful though that the restaurant is small and they are starting to get busy on the weekends, so try to make a reservation!

Yelp
A friend of mine suggested Season for brunch! I assumed it was located in the square but I'm glad it wasn't! No traffic & no fighting to park lol. The day we visited they were having issues with their air, but we decided to stay, it was hot though lol. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by numerous staff members which was very pleasant. The place is fairly small, so I understand making reservations. I ordered an iced matcha latte and the Maduro Buttermilk Pancakes with a side of eggs. The pancakes were delicious & the sauces on the side were nice too. The Matcha, meh, I wouldn't get it again, but it wasn't terrible, just not memorable. Our waitress was new, but very, very nice & helpful! Overall, I would visit again to try some other options! The food around me for other customers looked outstanding too! I really hope they get the air situation worked out, not just for customers, but mainly the staff! Its waaay to hot to have those nice folks in sweltering heat inside and its already an oven outside! Great place, great service & great food!

Yelp
Amazing! The chef is a genius. I'm visiting from TN and this biscuit was worth the drive.
google avatar

Victor H.

Yelp
The menu options are good. The food was delicious. They had a pork belly burrito special that was very good (took that one to go). My waitress was excellent! The reason they lost a star was 1. When I approached the counter and informed them table for one they acknowledged and said we'll need to clear a table but then I had no where to wait, and it being a small space, mad it seem like I was crowding the place up. The second reason was they didn't have some of the drink options available (they're on the menu) that are common staples elsewhere which was a bit disappointing. All in all worth the visit and I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
All I can say is OH MY GOODNESS! I was heading to ATL from Augusta to spend my birthday at a Braves game. I decided to find a good and local breakfast place and Season was it. Their fresh pressed coffee is really good and they keep it coming for as many cups as you want. They also have specialty coffee drinks and you can order a cool flight that includes a soda. The staff is awesome and the location quaint, homey, and intimate. I ordered the chilaquiles, which are made with house made chorizo, a sunny-side up egg and some really flavorful black beans along with fresh avocado. It was the best version of chilaquiles I have ever eaten. If you are in the area and want a great breakfast, swing by Season. Call ahead and get on the list to shorten your wait.

Yelp
We arrived 15-20 minutes before our reservation but were able to be seated immediately. We ate at one of the picnic tables outside. The Colcanon fritters , Avocado Toast, and Tamales were awesome. I tried the Something Special, where the chef decides what you'll get and I was not disappointed. We found Season a few weeks after the opened and any time we ate in the area we make a point to stop by. If you haven't tried this hidden gem then you're missing out. Tell Chef Nick his Cleveland, TN fans sent you his way.

Yelp
Ambiance - The place is small and quaint; however, the flies were quite annoying. Not a lot of seating, do not come with a large party. They also definitely need to invest in a better A/C unit. It is too hot in GA for them not to have a GREAT cooling system. Service - the staff all are very accommodating. My guest complained a bit and they maintained their smiles and still accommodated us. For this to be a small quaint place, they were out of Avocado toast, grits, and biscuits. OUR utensils were delivered after our meal landed. My above comments are all before we ate!! The FOOD - my guest ordered the soy tamales w/lentils. She gave it an 8/10 As for me, it is truly hard to.mess up breakfast and with that I will dissect my dish. Labeled the Breakfast Tasting, let's discuss the tastes. The bacon was trash. I love bacon and this tasted like the thin microwave bacon you receive at a fast food franchise; my eggs were scrambled to a near perfection 9/10; my waffle although tastee, was cold 7/10; the homemade biscuit was a homemade delight coupled with the apricot marmalade 10/10; the sausage patty tasted great and made me desire another, 9/10; the grits were an unique creamy and my guest and I debated if it was just cheddar (h) or cheddar and cottage cheese mix (me), 8.5/10; the fruit and yogurt were basic and I was not a huge fan of, 6/10. I would say the food overall is 8.5 and we will visit again. The 1 thing I will complain about is the over priced OJ. $5 for 8 ounces is a bit unreasonable, even if it is fresh squeezed

Yelp
One of the Best Breakfast/Brunch spot I've been to in the Atlanta area! Can't wait to try it again.

Yelp
It was a busy Sunday morning but we were able to reserve a table for two and waited maybe 5-10 minutes outside. The server was very kind and welcoming. The food was absolutely fantastic. The Mexican chocolate spread on the waffles was a different but pleasant experience. The two scrambled eggs I ordered with cheese you could were very fresh and the cheese they used gave it a nice creamy texture. The matcha latte was as expected but the Dubai chocolate piece on top was my favorite! i need to know where you got those and if you make them yourself then Bravo!!! There was an older couple there that were definitely regulars and they made me feel welcome.., their food looked great as well! I'll be stopping by again in the near future. Thank you!

Yelp
I was supposed to be review number 2 ‍on yelp, slacking on my Yelp duties. I need you to hear me, go. Don't walk, run, sprint, push your fam into the middle of the road to get here. This is that place! You want affordable food that is going to put your taste buds at the corner of flavor town and full avenue then this is the place for you. Everything is good, no really, everything is good. The Whole Duck Biscuit Duck Leg | Orange Marmalade | Foie Gras Ganache | Duck Prosciutto $13.00 Slap yourself. FLAVORTOWN, Duck, non-expensive, and filling. Smoked Brisket Tamale - One Tamale that comes with House-made salsa and Crema, Cilantro and Onion - $5.00 I DON'T EVEN LIKE CILANTRO! Bro, Slap yourself! FLAVORTOWN! I am a terrible person for not having written this review sooner so that the world could know about this place, because this is it. Matter of fact, I think I'm going to hit it up tomorrow as I'm writing this. Staff is super friendly, and the owner/chef is on point. Parking is a little tight, but that's alright, I'm there for the food! Chef's Cold Brew Chef's special cold brew order! Chocolate cold brew with almond cream and coconut sugar. $7.00 Guess what, yeah, FLAVORTOWN too. As far as I am concerned, they just need to go ahead and turn this place into a franchise so I can have me some quality food at an affordable price. You know when you eat somewhere and you don't realize where the time went because the food spoke to your soul and your mind and your stomach just keep asking the question, how is this possible? My friend, just go, thank me later. *This is not a paid review, I'm really just that passionate about good food.

Yelp
The Avocado Toast looks like something you've experienced in your lifetime, but let me tell you, it allows you to appreciate when a chef shares their gift with us. Also my wife tried the chicken and waffles and I must confess that it is by far some of the best that I have ever had. All of that come secondary to the friendly atmosphere, exceptional customer service, great tea and coffee and the ability to make a reservation done in or order for carry out. Check them out, you will not be disappointed.
google avatar

Dee S.

Yelp
Season did not come to play! Let's talk about that lamb sausage first--juicy, perfectly spiced, and serving main character energy on the plate. It's giving bold, it's giving delicious, it's giving "I might come back tomorrow." Pair it with those buttery biscuits and whew! Flaky, rich, and so good they should honestly come with a warning label: may cause obsession. Now the pancakes? Crispy edges, golden and proud, with that fluffy inside melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Whoever decided to crisp the edges like that deserves a raise. The traditional breakfast hits all the comfort notes with just the right amount of flair...it's like your grandma made it, but she studied abroad and learned a few tricks. And let's not sleep on the coffee. Whether you like it hot and bold or cold and cheeky, Season's got options that'll wake you up and keep you coming back for more. In short? It's a vibe, it's a meal, it's a moment. Get yourself to Season. Your taste buds will thank you!

Yelp
Teeny tiny place right below the square. Call ahead and make a reservation. Delicious biscuits. The grilled cheese biscuit is fabulous with the apricot jam. A wonderful flavor sensation. There was something else on the plate but since they didn't tell us what it was I didn't try. Chorizo con Huevos was fabulously full of flavors and lovely caramelized cheese. Also had the cheese grits - heavenly. Worth a breakfast stop. One negative was the iced tea - awful and made me drop the review a star. It tasted like soap and no one asked me why I didn't drink. $$

Michael M.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this small locally owned business. I had a chicken biscuit. Biscuit was okay but chicken has no flavor. I ended up with two servers which means I ended up with none , so while they were very nice, the service again was just okay. Three stars does not mean bad and to be fair I did not get any of the special dishes since their waffle maker was broken. Three stars to me means don't go out of your way, but if in the area judge for yourself. I will say I was last there months ago and the chicken was much better, so maybe an off day or they changed the recipe- in which case I would change it back. Very small inside and they seem a little put out if you don't have a reservation. I hope they improve, in which case I will try one more time.

Yelp
We decided to visit after a church friend recommended the place. I used yelp to add us to the waitlist and appreciated that the restaurant called to ask if we were ok with sitting outside. We arrived and our table was set. I love that it's near the square and not on the square. I ordered a seasonal latte which was beautiful and delicious, and each of our dishes delighted and exceeded our expectations. It's a small spot, but completely worth the wait with such delicious food to enjoy. Can't wait to come again and try more of the menu!

Yelp
It's a small cafe, with really friendly service, They have different coffee of the days, toast it was a medium roast from columbia. All of the food we saw on the tables looked amazing. We ordered the chicken and waffles. The presentation was pretty and it was definitely enough to share. The waffle was crunchy and thin-ish a little different than in accustomed to. The chicken had a slightly spice jam on it. it was also toured with radishes. I wasn't a huge fan of the dish and wouldn't order it again but i would come back to try something else. I love e the quaintness of the place. Try them out.

Yelp
My friend and I enjoyed brunch on Friday at Season, and I'm so excited to go again and again! The restaurant is a few blocks off of the square, and I actually passed it in the car and had to turn around. Our waitress Lillian took great care of us, helping us navigate the menu for our first time. She emphatically told us that every single thing on the menu was great and then highlighted a few favorites. We both built our own biscuits (bacon, egg and cheese). I asked for the blueberry preserves, and she got the sausage gravy. The gravy had big chunks of sausage in it, and it was fabulous! We shared a pancake that is now in my dreams. It had a great buttery crunch on the outside, and the inside was almost like a soufflé. As soon as I took a bite of the one we were sharing, I wanted to order another one! I had a glass of fresh squeezed OJ, and my friend had coffee. I highly recommend Season and will take my husband there this coming week!

Yelp
Pretty special place, new and still coming along but the biscuits are A+. Yes it's expensive but well worth it. Dining area is tiny however with a couple of picnic tables outside so plan accordingly or order out. Parking lot can fill up in hurry as well with no good backup options other than street parking. Kid loved the bacon egg and cheese biscuit and I demolished the chicken cordon bleu biscuit. Would love to try through more in the future.

Yelp
I must say that this restaurant is a place to try ! The food was amazing and I loved my iced coffee. I would definitely recommend the French toast and their cheddar grits hands-down the best ones I've had and I've tried to brunch places all over Atlanta and surrounding areas. The restaurant is small and parking is very limited so I would recommend making a reservation to make sure you have a table, but I will definitely come again

Yelp
This is a new brunch spot outside the Marietta square! The dining area is pretty small but they fill it well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The menu ranges from classic brunch items, Mexican inspired dishes, and French dishes. They serve homemade cold brew and even have an option to try a flight of flavors! The food itself was decent, and I wished they had espresso based dishes but all in all pretty neat spot.

Yelp
Be forewarned, might want a reservation because the space is very limited, and you will not regret it. While the coffee is about three times as strong as I can handle, they offered to cut it with hot water and keep warm milk on hand making it easy to get to concoct a drinkable solution. The French toast is something amazing, requiring a very delicate balance to achieve this texture. Lightly battered and perfectly fried, it's hard to put into words. If you've ever had anything like it, then you'll likely crave it often. The buttermilk pancakes actually taste like real pancakes. While the batter seems a bit thin the texture isn't the weird sponge that most competitors serve, and there's only real maple syrup here. The eggs and grits were similarly perfected. The grits are smooth and creamy having obviously been soaked properly and overloaded with cheddar and they are one of the few places that seem well adept at preparing eggs exactly how they are ordered. Support this locally owned gem and hope they grow into a new bigger location.

Yelp
Saw this place on Fox5 a few weeks ago and tried today. Excellent. I had the cheeseburger (The Loreen Burger) and wife has biscuits and gravy. Both excellent. Also had Chefs choice cold brew, excellent. Steady steam of people and it appears they take reservations since they asked us if had one at 9:45am. Highly recommend

Yelp
Excellent, excellent! I found this hidden gem on Google and was excited to try it out. Went here for brunch with a friend and we had a great time! Yes, a small place but with a big impact overall: from the friendly service, no wait time, incredible food, and drinks. My friend had the plantain pancakes! Ahmazing! I had the chilaquiles! The BEST chilaquiles I've had outside of the west coast. Incredibly flavorful, the chips were crispy, and it was very filling. It was so nice to just chill, relax, and enjoy the amazing food and drinks. I love how they didn't rush us and allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves. I don't know why this place doesn't have a James Beard award or on Michelin guide. Incredible food, drinks, service, and vibes! Highly recommend! :)

Yelp
Possibly the best brunch in the area. Small unassuming location. The chef and his staff are great. The food and coffee really stand out. You owe it to yourself to try this place if you like brunch.

Yelp
Gosh, we're lucky to have such a modern open-kitchen restaurant in town. The chef really gets it, and it's all about the food. They also seem to treat their staff well, which makes me happy for both management and employees. My number one criterion for a restaurant is honesty. Is the food sincere, or do they cut corners and try to get away with little things? That's what makes Season so special. Every dish comes across as honest and thoughtful, and it's basically perfect every time.

Yelp
The prices are steep but the ingredients is quality so it's worth it. I did make a reservation. I would go back if I was in the area

Yelp
We live nearby and have been excited for Season's arrival! My husband brought home the most delicious sandwich: the smoked turkey: Iceburg | Bacon | Shaved Tomato | Salsa Blanca | Muenster | Grilled Sourdough. Wowza! It was the tastiest sandwich I've had in a while, y'all. The sourdough was thick, buttered and crispy and perfectly sopped up their dilly-salsa blanca. More notably, the turkey isn't like Boar's Head slices - it is generously thick cut, juicy turkey. I'm looking forward to coming back for breakfast because their biscuit menu is vast and from the pictures I've seen on Instagram, the biscuits themselves look fluffy and dense. They're only open for breakfast and lunch, which I think will be great for the neighboring police station, fire station, courthouse folks, etc. Also worth noting that they're open on Mondays, while several establishments on the Square are closed on Mondays.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of experiencing an amazing brunch at Chef Nick Jennings' new restaurant, Season. Season is an understated gem 1/2 mile off Marietta Square where Chef Nick is showing off his culinarian creations. In meticulous fashion, he uses Michelin-level ingredients and techniques to present unique twists on some outstanding dishes. The dishes in my photo are: Duck Leg Biscuit w/ mini Colcannon inspired potato cakes on the side - the flavor combinations and the duck (which I don't typically like) were unbelievable! Brisket Chilaquiles - Oh My God! Burnt Ends!! The Salsa! The Beans! Cotija! Tamale Huevos Rancheros! The Tamales were outstanding! Move over Muss & Turners, Murphy's, Canoe. Chef Nick has a little unassuming spot in town! I imagine and hope he will thrive! 10/20/2024 Update: Quail! Yes. Sausage & date stuffed QUAIL on a biscuit with sorghum bacon jam and goat cheese (chevre)!! Un-be-liev-able! Avocado toast (on the upper left). What a work of art! Pork belly grilled cheese! Tamale, huevos rancheros. Seriously! Run! Don't walk to this amazing restaurant! The conversations between tables was about how incredible each person's dish was. Even the blueberry mint Aguafresca was amazing! Bravo Chef

Yelp
SO good! Great service as well. I enjoyed everything, and loved the diversity of options on the menu. We can't wait to come back. This is a smaller restaurant with only so many tables, I do recommend having reservations. Parking is tough too, a very small lot with only so much street parking. But it is worth it!!! The biscuits are incredible and some really awesome coffee selections

Yelp
Great food! I had the chef's choice biscuit and he actually delivered it to me and told me about it. It had a piece of boneless fried chicken, ham and egg and "Chihuahua" cheese and I'm not sure what else. Big and delicious. I took half home for later. My daughter loved her hamburger. We also shared a seasonal drink flight. 2 teas and a coffees. We'll definitely go back.

Yelp
This is one of the best restaurants in the area! The menu changes from time to time with some creative coffee drinks. The cheeseburger is one of the best I have ever tried. It's a small place with limited seating and it's worth waiting for!

Yelp
Delicious food...I could eat the whole menu! Owner/chef is friendly and talented. He made a special effort to get our feedback on one of his new dishes and seemed very grateful!
