"Like many LES hangs, the entrance to Sel Rrose is barely marked, and the space is somewhere between an art gallery an industrial loft. The cocktails are very solid, as are the burger and the raw bar selections. Go during Happy Hour for $1 oysters." - katherine lewin, hillary reinsberg

The 19 Best Restaurants In Montauk 2024

"Sel Rrose had an LES spot where you probably once saw someone from a Glossier ad drinking rose. That location closed, but you can still come to their oyster bar in Montauk for mollusks, cocktails, and lobster rolls by the beach. It's located conveniently right at the start of town, near John's Drive-In and Memory Motel, and the space is decorated with lots of white and florals. They also have some first-come, first-served outdoor seating available, too. " - melissa kravitz hoeffner, team infatuation

Google
What a wonderful dining experience. The hostess Karen was extremely pleasant, the servers ( there were a few) were very attentive and very friendly. The food was AMAZING. The chef, Shawn Hewitt, definitely hit the ball out of the park.. The appetizers right through to dessert, every bite was more amazing than the last. And the cocktails were delicious and refreshing. Can’t wait to return.

Google
The cocktails were excellent, the oysters fresh and delicious, our entrees were great, and the truffle risotto was pretty much perfect. Do yourself a favor and save room for a Lavender Chocolate Pots to Crème paired with a glass of port for dessert. The combination was heavenly.

Google
I don’t understand how anyone can come here and not rate it 5 stars. Sel Rrose is consistently delicious. The truffle fries are incredible. I’ve had the salmon over the past few years of coming here in so many ways, and I swear it’s better every time. Oysters Rockefeller was incredible. The short rib was amazing. We will definitely be back!

Google
Beautiful and cozy ambiance with unique decor. From the monochrome murals spanning the walls and ceiling, to the symmetric yet mismatched chairs , everything was just perfect (even the bathroom had a beautiful design). drinks menu was fantastic and the food was perfect. The staff and their small dessert menu were just like a perfect icing to a great evening. We had Braised Short Ribs and Lobster Salad and Oysters Drinks: Frozen Painkiller & Frose Big Thank You to the warm, nice, and great staff ... ps. Shout-out to the DJ (or person in charge of music)

Google
A really beautiful place to enjoy some delicious seafood. The appetizers and drinks were amazing and essential to the experience. The oysters were fresh and the truffle fries were perfectly seasoned. The portions were generous for the price. The entrees we got (mussels and shrimp chorizo cazuela) were good, but paled in comparison to the appetizers.

Google
Absolute precious, charming and authentic local vibe—inside and outside are both lovely choices to enjoy a long and cozy solid meal. We enjoyed the exceptional service, signature cocktails and magical ambiance ✨ happy to return back again hopefully soon for more good times, nice people and honest food 🥂

This restaurant is gorgeous, staff is wonderful and the food is delicious! Cappuccino & latte were amazing. A great spot for brunch & dinner!

This was our second visit to Sel Rrose - we had the most fantastic meal here on our last visit to Montauk. It will always be on our agenda because we love the vibe! Think "Manhattan meets Montauk." The space is beautiful and summery and draws a cool-looking crowd. We knew that there were some issues with the food this year, and we could see that the menu was a bit limited, so we stayed at the bar and just ordered appetizers and cocktails. Everything was delicious. We had a great time. Sel Rrose did not disappoint and we will definitely be back next year!

Yelp
This place is really a vibe. Absolutely beautiful and the perfect place to celebrate my friend, the Bride to Be, at a bachelorette party. After walking through a room that was set up primarily for a DJ and which literally radiated pink, we were seated at a round table that comfortably sat 6 of us. We snagged a reservation for a Thursday night for 7pm for a table of 6. It wasn't too crowded, we realized that the place really packed out by the time we left. The service was pretty generic. The menu changes quite frequently. Featured on our visit was the skirt steak, BUT they didn't have the one listed on the menu they had at the time. Rather they tried to push a 12oz skirt steak which was was to much for me to take on by myself. I ended up splitting it with my friend. It was very well prepared and tasted great. I'm glad we split it because it was the perfect amount for both of us. I would definitely come back with the ever changing menu, the price point for the location and the vibe itself.

Yelp
Bar has a cute cool/cute vibe. I came in for a drink (very strong btw) on the Sunday after 4th of July and it was just my boyfriend and I there.
google avatar

Ashley R.

Yelp
The food, drinks, and service here was absolutely horrible. I would never come here again, nor recommend this place to anyone. The vibe and decor are cute for photos but the music is so loud you can't even hear yourself speak. I ordered the burger, oysters and chicken scures. 0/10 so bad, everything came out cold. Nothing had flavor, even the burger was horrible. How do you screw up a burger? The ketchup was a chunky orange. I really hate giving a bad review, but I would save the $300.00 and go somewhere worth it in Montauk.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent service and selection! My friends and I ordered the aperol spritz tower-- a great deal with a very fun presentation. Would totally come again!

Yelp
Visiting my daughter in the Hamptons. This is a cute and hip type of spot , but terribly overpriced for what you get. Service is horrifically slow. My daughter got the seafood pasta and it was literally just melted butter, horrid frozen shrimp and scallops and some Parmesan sprinkled on top. That was it. She didn't eat but a few bites. The lobster roll tasted ok, but very little lobster. The clam chowder had lots of potato but only a small amount of clams. This was the first time I have been to a restaurant where swordfish was the fresh fish of the day. According to other diners, it is there multiple times a day which I find interesting. I'm not a picky drinker, but even the rose' was not tasty. There are better places for your dollar.

Yelp
Very cool place. The atmosphere is amazing. The Asian Salmon was amazing and full of flavor. The Shishito peppers were A+ The soft shell crab was great. -1 our server was an airhead. It took over an hour to get our food I would highly recommend this place
google avatar

Yelp
Get the aperol spritz tower!! We were the first ones to get it and it was so much fun. Their oysters are phenomenal and I thourougly enjoyed my salad as well. Such a sweet and attentive waitress and great atmosphere.
google avatar

Tanya T.

Yelp
Unfortunately the best part of our experience was the ambiance. The restaurant is beautifully decorated but the service and food were just ok. I will say our server told us it was her first day, but all we ordered was salad and it took over a half hour to come out. It was jus ok overall.
google avatar

Marc E.

Yelp
Deviled eggs are out of control! We loved our meal. Their new chef brought a great new menu. She's into cooking without seed oils and all of their meats and produce are locally sourced. Very exciting!
google avatar

Yelp
We came to Sel Rrose last summer and it was fantastic. This summer - awful food. Service was ok, the server said it was her second day on the job. She did her best. We ordered cocunut shrimp appetizer to share. Five small bland tasteless shrimp- for $27!! Very limited menu - I ordered the chicken entree- bland boring tasteless overcooked. Husband ordered the braised beef short rib - he barely took a few bites before saying it was the worst short rib dish he has ever had. Afterward, we did some research that we ought to have done before booking. The property is being sold. So that may explain why things are so awful-no intention to remain in business.

Danielle K.

Yelp
Worst food, nobody at the table liked any part of their appetizers or meals. Service was terribly slow and took at least an hour and a half for our food to come out. Our server was great and she helped us out, however, the music is so loud you can't even hear the people sitting right next to you. DONT COME HERE SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!
google avatar

Danielle M.

Yelp
Dinner here is great! My friends and I like to come on a weekday before the bar rush. Watching the sun go down in the sunroom is phenomenal. The waitstaff is so enthusiastic and friendly. My only wish is that a few years ago the oysters were better. They used to bring them out with a menu with sourcing info for each individual piece, I loved that added touch.
google avatar

Yelp
I was thinking a narrative might be a great way to convey the many steps of terrible, but then I considered the medium and maybe bullets are better. *Restaurant was half empty. Seemed like plenty of waitstaff. We were shoe-horned onto a small table to make room for no one who ever came. *Dirty Martinis should include gin or vodka, not just the olive juice. This was the worst martini I have ever had. Ever. Ever. *Natural wines are a favorite, but don't pawn them off as normal. Half the table was served them when being led to believe they were ordering a normal pinot. Nowhere was that made clear. *Bread plates are for bread normally. Not sure what they were there for, as no bread made it out. ***Linguine with clams should have both linguini and clams. The two of us who ordered it at our table were served angel hair and three rubber boot cast aways, all of which were horribly dry. Inedible. *Steak served to someone else was overcooked. Avoid avoid avoid. Bummer, because it seemed promising.*

Yelp
I was a bit worried after reading some of the negative reviews, but my experience at Sel Rrose was superlative. Immediately loved the funky rosey decor, coppery disco ball (the place has a DJ some nights) and urban vibe. We were seated promptly (Resy rez) and enjoyed friendly punctual service throughout the dinner. My Sel Rrose spritzer was humongous and refreshing, highly recommend that! Burrata with asparagus and tomato starter was a substantial creamy globe of goodness. Catch of the day was swordfish that evening, a simple tasty preparation accompanied by homemade mashed spuds and broccolini. Comfort food at its finest. Linguini with clams was flavorful and ultra fresh. Prices are very fair for Montauk. By the time we left around 8:00 the line to get in was out the door. Based on my experience, I can see why.

Darlene M.

Yelp
This was the worst dinner I have ever had in my life. The steak was well done and I ordered it rare. They don't use seasoning AT ALL taste like dried out dog shit. Asked for salt our waitress looked like she had 5 heads and gave us a mini disposable salt shaker. Our food was freezing cold as soon as it come out. Took three hours for an espresso martini and put house tequila when we asked for casa migos. We also had to salt our own rim of the margarita glass. The Caesar salad was two leaves and stale croutons. The oysters were fishy and tasted like ocean water. Worst place in montauk hands down. Could give 0 stars if I could.
google avatar

Caroline D.

Yelp
This has to be one of the most gorgeous spot to grab a bite or drinks in Montauk. The interior is absolutely gorgeous and everyone who works there is really nice. It's a bit overpriced, but much like their LES sister location, they offer $2 oysters during happy hour. While the oysters were good, their clams were the real stand out. They were large and perfectly salty and meaty. They have a great selection of wine and cocktails as well. Definitely 10/10 for ambiance!

Tom S.

Yelp
Went back this season and the food looked amazing and tasted incredible. Finally there's an alternative for great NYC type of food quality in Montauk. The new menu is health focused with wide variety from meat to greens. The cocktails and the natural wine menu were the best compliment to the food. I wondered about the tremendous improvement and then I heard that the new menu is designed by the chef owner of Daily Dose meals. Can't wait to go back for more this season

Julie C.

Yelp
Don't know what happened here as this used to be a great place to eat in Montauk. When we called, the message advised us to make reservations through Resy, but when you went to do that, there was no connection. Finally, since we were staying down the street we just went over there to find that they were closed. Not sure if that was just for the season or if that is for good. Hoping The former and the not the latter

Yelp
Oufffff this was a rough one. As an influencer I wanted to love this place because of the cute decor and sort of well known name it has. But as a Hamptons local it's a tourist trap. Lobster bisque tasted like heavy metallic flavor. Oysters Rock we're edible but super basic cheese and spinach and chicken Picatta would Of 100% had better at Olive Garden (sad but true) Bland and over priced. Our waitress was super Sweet but other than her I wouldn't recommend or go back. High prices and Applebees quality food (maybe worse)
google avatar

Yelp
The bartenders have bad attitudes and act like they don't want to be there. We went recently and they had no beer. This is a bar, correct? No beer? Probably done on purpose to force the $23 mixed drink that tastes like trash. Excruciatingly loud inside the place too. Can't comment on the food...because I didn't want to stay after the bar debacle .

Yelp
Dearest Yelpers!!!! Sel Rrose - MONTAUK It is rare I give a place 5 stars! I also try and write my reviews until a few days later when the dust settles lol! But this place was amazing!!! From the decor to the friendly staff to the tastes! K and I came while on vacation and the decor even before we walked in was exceptional! They have a grand piano in the dining room and wide open windows to get the fresh ocean air. The seating was absolutely comfortable and the staff was so accommodating. Silly me I made a reservation at the Sel Rrose in Manhattan instead of the one on Montauk :/ however they graciously accommodated us and the service was impeccable. After some oysters, entrées and plenty of drinks flowing... Sel Rrosé is a 10 out of 10 definitely would recommend!!

Yelp
Greetings Yelpies and Yelpermen of New York City, this Memorial Day weekend was one for the books and all I can say is if you didn't go to the Hamptons, where did you even go? Actually don't answer that question - because if it's not Montauk it's NOWHERE. Jk lol but rolling up to the famous Sel Rrosé on Friday upon arrival was a must for Hamptons locals . Okay, the ambiance was very cute don't get me wrong, but honestly none of the decor or the set up of the restaurant made sense. You walk in and there is the bar that takes up the entire back room, which leads into the back deck. That part is cute, but the wall art consisted of ripped cloth that was supposed to look beachy and eccentric?? I was confused. And especially drunk me was mega confused lol. Next, they had a DJ which was placed in the back of the restaurant, or in this case the back was the front since the bar in the back was the focal point. He played some mid music, thats all I have to say lol. The side room where me and my friends had dinner looked like we walked into a white circus I kid you not. White drapes surrounding us. The room with the DJ had seating that looked like my grandmother's table cloth coupled with "Jackson Pollock" looking wall art. I am one for a good deal and all I can say is the only thing that I enjoyed here and also did not mind paying for were - the oysters. Everything else was extremely overpriced (the espresso martini was like $38 ). The food was okay and THE HOUSE FRIES NEED HELP - mine were burnt. Also my friend got the Sel Rrosé Spritz and it tasted like actual barf. ANYWAY - If you're headed to Montauk, pretty much everywhere is going to be like this place. Restaurant by day turned club at night. Overpriced and subpar. The one great thing I will say about this place was the bathroom was very cool and an experience in it of itself. Think Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets lol and that was the bathroom. xoxo, christina

Yelp
Thought the food was mediocre at best and the service was terrible. Ambiance was eh... bar area looks cool but wouldn't go back. Great fries tho!

Leila S.

Yelp
The food has declined so much. My group had a hard time getting through any of our meals. On top of that we waited for almost an hour to receive our food. There seemed to be only two waiters staffed by where we were eating which most likely made it impossible to take costumers requests. Sad to watch this decline.

Hannah G.

Yelp
Definitely a good spot for drinks, because it is a nice space. However, I was not blown away with the food. It was tasty but overpriced for what it was because it was nothing special. Would maybe come back but just for drinks.
google avatar

Rene R.

Yelp
Sel Rrose came well recommend by a bartender from Gurney's. After spending an entire day at the beach, we were looking forward to a full menu and some substantial meals. What I didn't realized is that Sel Rrose has more of a tapas menu. Perfect place for GNO & date nights but be mindful if dining with children, which I was doing. Ambiance - 5 Stars Menu - Quite limited Good Quality - 3 Stars (mussels were a missed with flavors) Presentation - 2 Stars (I know it's COVID19 but I am not going to a nice restaurant to eat out of a paper box with plastic utensils) Cocktails - 5 Stars
google avatar

Kimberly W.

Yelp
My experience here was wonderful. The space is chic and inviting. Get all of the oysters, the lobster roll and try the orange wine. Everything we had was delicious. The waitress was kind and took great care of us. Plan to return soon x
google avatar

Dan M.

Yelp
More Manhattan than Montauk sitting just west of the famous Memory Motel is Sel Rrose. Not your typical worn wood lobster roll palace instead enter through the rose covered door in to elegance, good taste and tasty goods. Start off with one of their cocktails such as the Purple Rain or a glass of wine or a local Montauk beer. Sit back, relax and absorb the atmosphere and decor while you study the menu. We had the braised ribs and ahi tuna dishes but oysters and fresh fish are also available. An after dinner drink and a stroll on the nearby beach makes an outstanding date night. Memories are made of this.

Kyle D.

Yelp
Great food and service. The staff is super enthusiastic and friendly. Great vibes. Definitely a must have when in montauk.

Emily C.

Yelp
I have been to Sel Rrose many times over the years the past few years and have always loved it. I went back for dinner over Memorial Day weekend and the service, food and atmosphere has gone down hill immensely. The new health focused menu was very mediocre. The portion sizes were small and even the small amount of food we did get wasn't good. The steak was cold and the burger bun was like chewing on cardboard. The bar area used to get lively at night and when we left at 10:30 it was dead. I will not be coming back here.

Trisha V.

Yelp
Pretty restaurant with nice staff but the food was not great and the service was very slow. Wouldn't go back.
google avatar

Lin K.

Yelp
The LES location is amazing, but this Montauk spot is special. Beautiful interior, talented staff. The cocktails are amazing, and you have to get the burger, best I've ever had (with the truffle fries ). They're usually booked up for dinner, but getting a spot at the bar is easy & they offer the full menu there anyway!!
google avatar

Ashley N.

Yelp
Okay here we go - this place was IT!!! Everything from the vibes, ambience, food, drinks, service and music. The place is gorgeously decorated & has a cute lil disco ball in the main room. Food is delicious. Drinks are great. and the best part of it all is the DJ they have playing on Fridays!! Great tunes. We were going to bounce around in Montauk, but ended up staying here all night!

Yelp
I'm so glad we end our trip to Montauk with eating at Sel Rrose. After a previously bad night eating at Surf Lodge, Sel Rrose made us feel like we mattered as customers. They checked our reservation right away and told us there may be a 10 minute wait then gestured where we can stand. Shortly after they took us to our table where the host proceeded to push the chairs in for the ladies. The food was amazing- the sauce with the clams were soooo good and the oysters were fresh and free of sand and shell bits. The drinks were huge and in GLASSES not short plastic cups. The music was loud enough to be heard but not overbearing despite sitting next to the speakers. We had the table closest to the outside but still within the restaurant which meant we were cool from the ac but not cold due to the summer air. I cannot stress how happy we all were with the service, food, and feeling like we are getting what we are paying for. Thank you Sel Rrose

Michael C.

Yelp
absolutely terrible. This used to be the it spot in montauk with a great menu. I just went for Memorial Day weekend and I don't even know where to start. The waitress kept forgetting about our drinks. The food was ice cold and had 0 taste. The portions were awful. And the croutons to the salad were stale that I almost choked. The prices were through the roof which I dont mind if it's good, but I could have been more satisfied across the street at John's drive in with a $10 burger. Never again. Not to mention my whole group and I got very sick.
google avatar

Jack K.

Yelp
The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and charming. Only reason giving a 4 star the chairs are so small and uncomfortable to sit on to enjoy your dinner. The frose was beyond good I could not get enough. The food is excellent, everything was very flavorful and delicious. The staff is very friendly and service was great. I would for sure go back to for dinner or lunch again. You must try the fish and chips it's next level hood and the chicken.
google avatar

Yelp
My gf took me on a surprise trip to Montauk. We both have never been to Montauk so didn't know what off season would be like. Many places were closed but luckily this place was open. The restaurant is gorgeous. It has a blush pink theme, which is my absolute favorite. We got the chicken piccata and the lobster roll for dinner. I loved the chicken piccata! The sauce was light and buttery. Also the mushrooms on it were so tasty, my mouth is watering as I'm writing about them. I wouldn't recommend getting the lobster roll unless you like dill. Also I honestly don't think the lobster tasted that great either, it didn't have the sweet taste I like. For drinks, I got the spritz and my gf got the Disco Sour. She switched with me because the spritz had a grapefruit taste I didn't like. The disco sour was so delicious so I'd highly recommend it!

Yelp
Came here this weekend with two girlfriends for dinner while in Montauk. Ambiance: The ambiance was absolutely gorgeous. Pink, Florals, Sunsets, Disco Balls, how could you not love this! There were a few people on date nights, a large group having dinner, and families. If you want more of a party vibe I would make a rezzi for 9:30pm as that's the last seating before it turns into a club and by that time the DJ is playing and drinks are flowing all around so its def a scene. If you are with family and want an enjoyable quiet dinner I would go 6:30-8:30pm. Service: Everyone we encountered was amazing. Our waitress was on it all evening as well as informative with her dinner suggestions. The hostess even remembered us when we came in later in the evening to enjoy the bar and let us right in off the line which we really appreciated! Food and Drinks: The food and drinks were awesome. My friends said it was some of the best seafood they ever had. The sides were delicious as well and the drinks were strong! My only reason for four stars was there was very minimal items for a vegetarian (which I am) The only options are sides of veggies and a Caesar salad. I wish there was a pasta dish of some sort or a pizza just so I wasn't starving all night! We did head back around 9:30pm when the other outdoor bars closed for more of a nightlife vibe and I really appreciated the bouncers who told us to come back at 11pm because they were at capacity due to their dinner service still happening. This allowed us to stop at home and relax instead of standing outside for an hour on line for no reason! while we enjoyed it it was definitely not the crowd I was expecting nor the music. I would check it out but if there's a long line I would skip. 100% if you are in town check this place out! Reservation go quickly!

Yelp
Such a gorgeous venue! We celebrated my husbands 50th birthday with another couple. The service was great, drinks were off the charts and the food was amazing. Clam chowder was some of the best I've had, the 6 hour brined chicken was my husbands favorite and the Brussel sprouts were crunchy and yummy. The cocktails were the star though. Best grapefruit margarita I've ever had and an amazing fig drink. We will be back!

Yelp
Sometimes things like these happen where all signs point to the food being good at a place and it just misses the mark. Sel Rose is that kind of place where the decor is awesome, the service is great, the vibe is cool, but the food was not good. It has a small menu with not many options which could be a good sign usually. That means they have mastered a few items. Unfortunately, not the case. I will say the cocktail menu was good and we enjoyed our drinks. The hunter was my favorite drink and I definitely recommend. Now for the bad news the naked clams were too big, not cleaned, and inedible. Literally couldn't get them down. The truffle fries were soggy. The shrimp chorizo cazuela was bland and not good at all. It had no seasoning whatsoever. The burrata was ok at best. This was a huge surprise to me because all signs pointed out to it being good!! My suggestion is to come for the cocktails not the food. The hunter cocktail is delicious ($17). The natural wine by the glass is good too ($20). I would come for drink and sit at the bar but thats about it. Sorry Sel Rose I had high hopes!

Yelp
Man, everything in Montauk is just really freaking expensive. Now that I've got that out of my system and you're fully expecting that for Sel Rose, the food was really good. I had a short rib and my wife had their special of the day, sword fish, and both were cooked perfectly. Not overdone as fish is apt to do. The service was good and food came out surprisingly quickly (only maybe another 3 or 4 tables there, we went early around 6pm) Decor is a bit in your face and disconcerting but ignore that and just have a drink which was also nicely made.

Yelp
The NYC location has been one of my fav NYC bars - and now this will be one of my favs in Montauk too. It was my bday and we came in for a bite and drink - they also gave us a round of free bday shots and cakes. It was such a fun treat and experience. The place is gorgeous and has so many spaces to enjoy. Both beautiful indoor and outdoor offerings. Cocktails are always special but that Tequila Colada is a winner winner all around. Can't wait to come back one day!
google avatar

Janice C.

Yelp
It's our first time in Montauk, so we wanted a quick bite to eat before visiting the beach. We stopped in at Sel Rrose on a whim (it's literally steps away from one of the beach's entrances), and it didn't disappoint! It's a super cute place with lovely decor, but we sat outside and enjoyed the nearby ocean breeze. Our server was extremely attentive, kind, accommodating, and more than happy to offer recommendations. We ordered the burrata with roasted tomatoes, truffle fries, and 2 rounds of the Amor De Moras and Ginger Seagull & everything was delicious and refreshing. I also saw beautiful fresh flowers for sale in the front, so I'll be picking up some on the way out! Highly recommend this spot for a quick bite or even a cute date!

Yelp
You can (try) to make a restaurant as beautiful and chic in appearance as possible, but at the end of the day - if the cocktails & food are mediocre, there's a serious issue at hand. Lobster bisque: salty, thin, and not one single piece of lobster meat. I mean, we're in Montauk for crying out loud. Salmon with "fresh" Lo Mein: The noodles were a little too fresh- the pasta was still literally dough, and I'm not sure it had cooked in water at all. It was my fault for not saying anything, but I tried to convince myself the raw and starchy/chewy texture was intentional. My stomach later reminded me not to ignore my better instincts. Salmon was well flavored but overcooked and piping hot in the center as if it had been microwaved. The garden salad was nicely dressed & we enjoyed the goat cheese and pecans. "No Reservations" cocktail: This boasted a lot of nuanced ingredients, but it tasted like a can of dole pineapple juice with a splash of tequila. No jalapeño was detectable whatsoever. The service was acceptable, but I certainly could not qualify it as warm & welcoming. But honestly, that's fine, I don't mind efficient. I guess I have a slightly higher standard as I have worked in this industry for many years. My advice: Get the basics down. No one wants to spend that sort of $$$ and walk away feeling unsatisfied with their meal.

Yelp
Ooof where to start... We had a party of 14 people for a special event on Sunday. We showed up for our 7pm reservation at 6:55pm, didn't get sat until 730ish which was already a bit annoying as we showed up early. Since there we were a large party we had to put down a $1400 deposit, do a prefix menu, and a time limit of 90mins (take note of that) We take our seats outside and they arrange water for the table saying they will be back shortly to take our drink order. 30mins pass by, all the water is gone and we still haven't placed our order. Finally after waving down the waitress we are able to place our drink order and able to put in an order of truffle fries. Another 30mins go by, still no more water and we have been there for an hour already that half the group gets up and just goes to the bar. Annoyed we've been sitting there for an hour without any service someone in the group goes to talk to the General Manager. Whose response was "our vibe is to be slow so just be patient" UGH. Then they come out and apologize to our table and gave us champagne "all night" for free. At this point champagne is being served along with our drinks that we ordered over an hour ago. They remembered only to bring one thing of truffle fries and forgot the others. But luckily they were finally able to get our food in. 30mins pass and only 3 people got their appetizers. Then 2 more people got there's. We found out that on our prefix menu they didn't have some of the items available (howwww???). Caesar salads come out LAST and they had barely any dressing and we had to send it back because we got chicken and there was none (like the waitress asked us if we wanted chicken in the first place). At this point we've been at the restaurant for over 2hrs and only have half our appetizers. When the rest of the appetizers came out so did the main course. By the time dessert rolls around it's been 3 hours. We finally wrap up and they said we should stick around as it's turning into a club now. ABSOLUTELY NO. Long story short food was amazing and service is complete garbage. Definitely not worth the hype or the money. The only thing that really turned things around was the free champagne but honestly it would of been nice if they comped a meal or something.

Yelp
First time visiting sel rose. The atmosphere is great and the food was fantastic. Such a instagram-able Restaurant. Although they don't transform into a club any longer, the music and DJ still kept everyone in a great mood.

Yelp
A 29.00 Cesar salad tasted like a 7-11 4.99 salad. Needed to clean the table and booth. Cork pieces in my glass of wine. Lobster bisque was cold and lobster rubbery and tasted awful. Staff was nice.

Yelp
Excellent service and fresh and delicious seafood. They also have a pretty cool women's restroom. The ambiance is gorgeous and the staff is great! Excellent drink and food options.
