"Semiramis Lebanese Cuisine, Albany Park. If a BYOB restaurant and the best falafel in the area is what you’re looking for—look no further. This Lebanese eatery serves up the freshest (made from scratch daily) lamb, beef, and chicken chawarmas, as well as plenty of vegetarian options like falafel wraps, baba ghannouj, tabbouleh and hummus. Semiramis Review - Albany Park - Chicago - The Infatuation
"Semiramis is a low-key BYOB Lebanese restaurant just off of the Kedzie Brown Line stop in Albany Park. It’s a great spot for a casual weeknight dinner or an easy weekend date night. Order the vegetarian plate to share - it comes with warm pita, hummus, baba ghannouj, tabbouleh, falafel, and dolmas. The lamb kabob here is also fantastic." - Josh Barnett

"Embroidered pillows, decorative rugs, and a warm, cozy atmosphere all help to make Semiramis an essential Lebanese dining destination. The falafel is a favorite, while the lamb/beef and chicken shawarma are marinated for 24 hours in a blend of herbs and spices. For pure value, though, the whole roasted chicken priced at $10 is tough to beat. Maamoul cookies and cups of Arabic coffee provide the finish." - Jeffy Mai
This place was incredible! My mom and I just decided to stop in out of curiosity and it did not disappoint. Everything is made so fresh and with such care. The owners (husband and wife) were so sweet and kind. You can tell how much love they put into their restaurant. The wife is the cook and she is AMAZING AT IT. Never have I had such fresh cuisine, and right in the heart of albany park. These people are hard workers that carry humility. It’s beautiful that they share their cultures with us through food... 5/5 recommend! And please try the tea! Even the tea was OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Was in the neighborhood and was looking for a good falafel sandwich to my surprise I hit the jackpot. Amazing Falafel sandwich. It was late and they were clearing up to close by the guy behind the counter (owner?) was super great and friendly and made the guys in the back make fresh falafel for me and made me an awesome sandwich. I am picky in my falafel usually my lebnani brethren get the falafel right most of the time. I am so glad I found this place or my other option would’ve been alsalaam. Definitely worth making the trip out here for a great falafel sandwich and awesome customer service. - AbuYemen ;)

This was our first time back since the new owner took over. The menu is the same which we were happy to see. The only difference I thought was that the spices were slightly different. The hummus was great too! And its BYOB which makes it affordable.

Been coming here for awhile now mostly pickups. There are a lot of similar places on this street but Semiramis definitely stands out with quality, portion size and friendly service. The babagonoush is delish and the fries (which is overlooked at most places) is really good. double down on the beef kebab.
