Best Vietnamese Restaurants in London | Eater London

"Those who have a Vietnamese grandmother will recognise the whole steamed sea bass with soy sauce, ginger and onions. Or the iconic cha ca la vong dish from Hanoi, fish marinated with herbs, served with vermicelli noodles, and traditional shrimp sauce — grilled tableside. Dark and inviting, it’s the perfect place to come in from the cold for a warming bowl of classic beef pho noodle soup." - Jennifer Trak

Great Vietnamese food in the King’s Cross area! Everything was flavorful & cravings were satisfied. My favorite was definitely the thit kho trung. My girlfriend’s favorite was the pho. I’d try the whole menu if I could!

Google
Ordered a bun bo hue, flavor was decent. But the soup was very salty and greasy. Service was quick, got seated quick and was given menu at a quick time, food came quick. Food was a let down. Usually I like to finish my soup but it was too greasy. See photo for how much oil is in the soup.

Google
I have been a regular at the place for many years, and the food is always as fresh, tasty, and varied over time! One of my favourites is the egg fried rice. It's not a complex dish, and yet it can be hard to find a tasty, well-made one. I absolutely LOVE the one from Sen Viet.

Google
Our second visit and we still enjoyed it very much. We arrived just 45 mins before they closed so there was no wait and the service was fast and friendly. The nems were so good we had 3 orders. Not the best Pho we had but good enough and they do have a varied menu with interesting choices.

I've been here too many times that it feels like my university cafeteria now. I've tried lots of Vietnamese restaurants in London and have been to Vietnam. The noodle in Sen Viet is the BEST!

Google
Great meal here. Very popular location, we came at about 8pm on a Thursday and there was a short wait as the restaurant was full. Service was polite and apeedy-- we were served really quickly but never felt rushed. The menu is quite long and has a couple of pages dedicated to vegetarian and vegan food. They had quite a lot of vegan fish options which I don't often see as a vegetarian so I was impressed to see so much on the menu. The food was really quite good, and beautifully presented. It was OK value for money, in line wiry what you would pay for similar quality food in central London.

Google
Nice and vibrant place with some unique desserts. Their noodles and starters were good. A lot of wine selections. It's not a big place but quite a few tables and the service is very good and efficient.

Google
Sen Viet restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was absolutely amazing, bursting with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. What truly impressed me was the exceptional service. Our waiter didn't write down a single order for our party of four, yet everything arrived perfectly as we had requested. This level of attentiveness and skill is rare to find. I highly recommend Sen Viet for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Vietnamese cuisine paired with top-notch service.

Yelp
*EXPERIENCE: We got here at noon on a Saturday and was surprised to see the gate not pulled up and we thought it was closed even though it should've been open. It turns out that the restaurant manager was late and the employee inside was not allowed to open the gate. That was super bizarre. The whole restaurant is managed by 1 restaurant manager who seated people, took the orders, made the drinks, and ran the cash register. Seems like a lot for just 1 person, but she managed. I guess that's why she was a bit rude and unhappy. Lastly, like a true Vietnamese restaurant, you pay up front. We sat there for at least 30mins waiting for someone to bring the check or trying to catch the restaurant managers attention, until the bus boy came to clear our plates told us we pay at the front. *FOOD: I enjoyed the chicken porridge especially on a stormy day. It was very homey and delicious. However, my husband got the pho and it definitely was below average. I guess this restaurant is more of a well-rounder Vietnamese cuisine and does not specialize in pho.

Yelp
One of my go to pho places in London. The taste is authentic, prices are reasonable, service is quick and prompt.

Yelp
Visiting London from Los Angeles and we're in the mood for some Vietnamese foods. This restaurant popped up as we yelped and used TripAdvisor. Reviews are good, it's close by to the hotel we're staying in so here we are. The good side: We ordered the prawn and pork summer rolls for appetizer and it was amazing. Even better than the ones in LA! LA is known for great foods by the way. Fiancé for the beef stew with jasmine rice. I didn't try it but he said it was pretty good. Service was great from the moment we walked in till the very end. The bad side: Why I took away 1 star is because for the portion of the chicken pho I ordered. It was almost like kids meal so I obviously didn't feel like I had a good meal afterwards which was a disappointment. Don't order any pho if you're more on the starving side. The rice plates portion looks decent. We'll probably come back again sometime during our trip, but no more pho from this place.

Yelp
Great service, me and three friends ordered the pho. Came quickly and was fantastic. A hidden gem!

Yelp
I would describe my experience here as very underwhelming. It seemed promising because of the reviews, the great smell when entering and the amount of people. However, the Pho was bland and the beef vermicelli was just the same. The promising dishes are the fried mango spring rolls and the summer rolls. Very unfortunate.

Yelp
Wow. Just had dinner for the 1st time here (won't be the last!) and I can say I'll be returning soon and often. One of my work colleagues, who is Vietnamese, took a small group of us for dinner today (pay day!). I'd never been and love Vietnamese food so I decided to come along. Wow, am I glad I did! Except for the tofu summer rolls (good) which I shared as a starter, pretty much everything we ordered was new to me. The other starter was a beef baguette which was lovely (had a sneaky bite). Now onto the mains. We tried the stuffed aubergine which came with plenty of tofu and veg - wonderful. Healthy and very tasty. We also got a sort of fried crepe thing again stuffed with a mixed vegetable stir fry (but different from the aubergine). This actually came with lettuce wraps and mint and was hard to eat but absolutely delicious. Now onto the non veggie. We had this incredible beef, sorry i forgot the name but I took a picture. It was some sort of marinated, pan fried beef dish. It was so unbelievable tender and bursting with flavour. I would not come here again without ordering. To finish our savoury tasting, we got a seafood and rice vermicelli plate - not as mind blowing as the beef but still very good. At this point I was freaking out because discovering a restaurant this good and cheap near the office is not an everyday affair. And here comes the coup de grace. I never order dessert at Asian restaurants because, let's face it, it's often not their forte. However, everyone at the table was curious so we got the mango spring rolls and the deep fried ice cream. The mango spring rolls were very nice (if a bit sweet) but what I found great was the deep fried ice cream. Really good quality vanilla delicately coated in bread crumbs and sprinkled with peanuts & condensed milk. So tasty!! Needles to say, I'm a fan. I can't wait to have many a work lunch and post work dinners here. Final note is that it's VERY reasonable. With all that food and a couple of drinks we came to £18/pp. Fantastic.

Yelp
Hidden gem for a Vietnamese girl missing mommy's home cooked meals! Food: They have a very big menu so it can satisfy all your vietnamese food cravings or confuse you to death! First time I came, I tried their Bun Cha Ca La Vong, which is a local cuisine in a region of Vietnam that I've heard of but never tried before. It was interesting to try it here. I also came back for Banh Canh anh Bun Bo Hue. There was a bit too much MSG in their broth which makes my tongue felt funny after eating there. Service: Very nice people! The workers act like they enjoy working with each other. They were also very helpful to help me pick out my dishes. They were genuinely interested in assisting me and helping me have a good experience dining there. Tip: - Cash only - Free delivery if the total is over 15 pounds

Yelp
Isn't it a tad bit strange to serve a soup that has a broth suspiciously reminiscent of a canned minestrone + a dash of chilli oil and try to pass it off as Bun Bo Hue? This is the third Vietnamese restaurant in London where I've come across an entirely new dish under the label of something that is supposed to be distinctly traditional and well known in Vietnamese cuisine. (Bang Bang in Fitzrovia, I see you.) It's like if I had ordered pancakes and they gave me French toast instead, I could tolerate this. Maybe it's an access-to-ingredients issue? Maybe pancakes = French toast in this part of the world? Fine. But if I order pancakes and you place a slab of meat with tomato jam on the table, I'm calling your bluff. I don't care if you wave your hypnotic wand in my face and tell me they're pancakes. They're not pancakes. Stop lying to me, Sen Viet.

Yelp
Very tasty. Large menu. Super friendly service. Good vibe (sorry for the short review- I had written these notes the night I ate there but its been a bit)

Yelp
the food was quite good and fairly priced but service (circa 10pm) was quite curt - fair warning! I was absconded for looking at a painting!

Yelp
I had the slow cooked pork and it was amazing. The portion looked small but it was actually a lot meat! The pork was so soft and amazing...! CASH ONLY

Yelp
The pho was a very light broth with slippery and thick noodles as opposed to the usual thin rice noodles I've had with pho. The campfire steak had a very nice texture and had a slightly spicy kick that was very pleasing. Plus the sizzling presentation was fun. The true star of the meal was the breaded prawn with the sweet and spicy jelly dip. Very delicious! Expensive, but beautifully clean, and crisp shrimp that taste great on their own but simply pop with the chili jelly. Fair warning: there are no caffeine-free teas here. (I know what you're thinking... Who doesn't want a direct line of caffeine?! I'm on what some would call a cleanse.)

Yelp
Not the best Viet I've had, but their salads are quite good (so good that my aunt got an extra order to bring home). The pho was okay. I wasn't crazy about it. I will mention that the service is excellent. The servers are very sweet. My aunt is elderly and they thought she was adorable. They were extremely accommodating and talked to her in Vietnamese, walked her to the restroom, etc. Overall I had a very nice time and if I'm in town again, I will definitely return!

Yelp
Terrible customer service. I came here with my group. We were late and accepted that we will eat fast for 30-45 minutes because of the rush hour. However, when we enjoy the meal, they kept asking if we finished every 15minutes. It ruined my meal and my group is really upset. The food is okay but their customer service is terrible. I Won't come back

Yelp
We went for lunch and had our Vietnamese cravings well satiated. We had two types of summer rolls -- fresh prawn and bbq prawn. Both were absolutely delicious, with the latter being new but excellent for me. Beef pho was also very good. Our Vietnamese drip coffee was also great, but be warned that the drip does take a while. Service was friendly and prompt. A neighbourhood kind of place, but their reservation system was very efficient and professional too. Ambience is very cozy and casual. Not a very fancy place, but perfectly authentic and local.

Yelp
I liked this place so much we went back a week later. This time ordered the set menu. Sharing platter to share (pictured) was excellent. Highlights included chargrilled prawns with sweet chili sauce, great summer rolls, the same excellent spring rolls as last time and shaking beef salad which was tender and flavourful. Mains of crispy chicken salad (see pic) and sizzling seafood were equally good with a side of pak choi and garlic. The service is excellent and prompt and the prices are very reasonable. My favourite Vietnamese in London.

Yelp
Sen Viet opened a few months ago, in a nondescript area near Kings Cross Station. I stumbled upon it last night with my boyfriend, we'd wanted to go somewhere using the Tastecard but after seeing the menu here, and the 10% student discount, we decided to give it a try. The outside is misleadingly lackluster and the music is the typical mix of love songs and 90s chart hits. The staff are lovely, this is without a doubt the friendliest service I've ever had at a Vietnamese restaurant. We ordered crispy spring rolls to share, they came with lettuce for wrapping, some mint and an amazing nuoc cham dipping sauce. They were really, really, really good. The filling tasted of Vietnamese meatloaf and the wrapping was crispy and delicious. I ordered a large Pho with rare beef, and my boyfriend got a Bun Bo Hue (spicy noodle soup). When the noodle soups came I was a little confused by the fixings that came with them, the beansprouts had been replaced by strips of lettuce (!!?!!?), which I've never seen before, but there were two leaves of sawtooth coriander and some mint, chillies and a wedge of lemon. The pho was decent (but I suspect, full of MSG), and the beef could have been fresher. My boyfriends Bun Bo Hue was flavourful, and a very satisfactory meal. At the end of the meal we were given two complimentary slices of orange, and a tiny cup of delicious tea each, which was a lovely touch. With a Tiger beer, a Fanta, 2 noodle soups and a starter the bill came to £19 for both of us. I really hope Sen Viet keep it up, because I'll be back for the service (and the spring rolls) alone.

Yelp
Ooo oh so good. My good group of 4 walked in off the street and didn't have to wait at all on a Saturday night. Shrimp crackers to start. A large menu with pictures. Friendly staff. DELICIOUS FOOD. oh so good and they looked after my friends- one who wanted meat free options and another with a peanut allergy. And they brought us extra shrimp crackers! Definitely tasty, definitely worth the money. 7.30£ for a beef and veggie stirfry with vermicelli (I misspelt that) and 3£ for a Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk.

Yelp
Thank you once again for providing me with a great restaurant recommendation. A large group of us dined here on Saturday night. Outside it was wet, cold and miserable but we soon forgot about that once we stepped through the front door. We were dressed in 1920s attire ready for the night that was to come later (see my next review) but were excited to see what Sen Viet had to fill our tummies. A word of warning... the menu is very confusing. I wish I could rework it for them. They have a lot of different dishes, but headings for 'Starters', 'Main Courses' etc. are nestled among the dishes in the same small print. Please do persevere though because there's plenty on offer and it isn't limited to the usual Pho and Bun you see elsewhere. They have excellent and enticing descriptions and occasional photos to help you choose. The only criticism for the restaurant was the service which was very slow. We kept making eye contact to have our order taken but eventually had to go to the front desk to ask. Food however was delivered promptly so perhaps I'm just too British and need to be more forward. My friends and I shared a portion of Spring Rolls and Summer Rolls between us just so we could get a taste. There were lots of good 'mmm' sounds as we dipped our Summer rolls into the sticky dipping sauce and I couldn't resist having a second portion of Summer Roll that my friend didn't fancy trying (more fool her). We also shared portions of steamed rice, pak choi and noodles with beansprouts between the group. For my main I ordered an intriguing dish called Campfire Steak. I never could have prepared myself for the spectacle that arrived before me. Check out the picture. They set fire to my plate! It looked awesome, but the flames did take a while to die down and I was a bit nervous picking my first few bites out of the bowl using chopsticks. The flavour was beautiful though so I'd highly recommend giving it a go. The meal cost about £18 each which included wine too.

Yelp
My friends and I were nearing the end of our Euro backpacking trip and was craving for some Asian food after all of the Danish/ British food we've been eating. We all ordered PHO, and it was sweeter than it normally is back home in LA. Just as delicious since it was raining in London. I recommend anyone who's a bit homesick for Asian food to check this restaurant out. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. ENJOY!

Yelp
Everything about Sen Viet screamed disaster, from the blurry, unappetising photos which comprised the menu (seemingly taken with a first generation mobile phone camera) to the incongruous waitstaff to the restaurant's location opposite the Travelodge and nearly next door to the Holiday Inn in the spirit lacking stretch of road between between King's Cross and Farringdon. But our options were limited given the time (past ten o'clock) so Sen Viet it was. "We can always get a kebab on the walk home," I said with forced cheer. Thankfully, that would not prove necessary. We ordered the ch giò, shaking beef and a small bowl of spicy pho. We were delighted when the ch giò arrived with enough lettuce to wrap every last piece (that never seems to be the case.) The tender and savoury shaking beef came atop a bright salad. We got a side of steamed rice with it, which I'd do again. The pho was less impressive but the previous two dishes were good enough to return for. If ever there was a case for not judging a book by its cover, Sen Viet is it.

Yelp
Fairly standard Vietnamese food not far from Russell Square. Bun buo hue (spicy noodle soup) had a good kick but did not have the pork blood and leg, and not much meat. The egg crepe was delicious on the other hand. Dessert was the mango rolls accompanied by mango-coconut sauce, it was a good way to finish the meal.
google avatar

Yelp
Menu is quite extensive and food is made in the northern Vietnamese tradition. Service was speedy when we went for dinner despite a busy dining room. A solid option for Vietnamese grub in this neighborhood!

Yelp
I was craving vietnamese food in London so chased down this location & wasn't disappointed. Service was great & the squid salad was good.

Yelp
One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants. It's in a great location in my opinion and is big enough to accommodate large parties. The staff works quickly and will serve you quickly, which is great if you're in a rush. The food also comes out quickly. There are a lot of tables in the dining room so we didn't need to wait. I haven't gotten a chance to try a lot of dishes, just the pho's and spring rolls (I'm a creature of habit) but will definitely be back to try them with friends.

Yelp
With my high standards for Vietnamese food, I came to Sen Viet while in London on business. It pleasantly surprised me! The menu is more elaborate than the typical pho place, but the food is actually good. The setting is also fancier than a typical Chinatown joint, so reserving is recommended as evenings do get busy. My partner and I got the BBQ pork fresh rolls to start £5.50, then spicy soup with seafood and it was good (£10.90). We also had the classic rare beef soup - also good (£9.90). We were very satisfied for a total of £26.00. Sen Viet accepts cash and cards, they have some typical beverages, desserts, and friendly staff. The restaurant can be suitable for couples and groups, it be aware that like in other Asian places, you can be seated with other people of the place is packed. Enjoy!

Yelp
(Please excuse the informal language) Visiting from america, spent half my time here looking for a decent viet resturant. After a long and fruitless search i found this place. I got the vegetarian spicy soup. The tofu was firm and delicious with a slight buttery taste. Not that tasteless sponge cake bullshit they give you everywhere else. Noodles were made on site so you didnt have to suffer theough that nasty plastic taste you get from low end places. The broth was the highlight. Full of flavor, and spice, not to salty. a really nice balance of flavors. The veggies were unusual not what im used too, but not bad. Crisp and fresh. The service was friendly and helped when ever needed. Did see a lot of asain (all staff amd cooks as well) people eating there so thats a good sign too. Very authentic and reasonably priced. I will definitely go again if i have the chance!

Yelp
After a long, fun day at Yelp's playground take-over, we ended up here for dinner. No wait for a group of four on a Saturday night? Sold! We got prawn crackers to start with, everyone quickly found something on the (slightly too extensive) menu and waited to order. And waited to order. Aaaaaand waited to order. We had to get the attention of staff before we could order, but apart from this little snag, service was great! Food arrived fast and was very good. They were able to accommodate food sensitivities and allergies as well. We had a very enjoyable evening here.

Yelp
Our first night's dinner was at Sen Viet. Our flat was in the King's Cross area, so we used our Yelp app to find nearby restaurants and found Sen Viet. The food was delicious! We ordered #37b Water Spinach with garlic, and it was delicious! We also had #31c Spicy Noodle Beef Soup and #35d Chargroiled Pork, which came with rice a salad. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Dinner for 3 people was £21.40

Yelp
Sen Viet is a decent-sized friendly restaurant a few minutes walk away from St Pancras. It has a very large menu with options varying from the safe to the unusual. We opted for a sharing platter to start. Everything on here was good and tasty. It was good value too as there were quite a few varieties available. Particularly liked the chargrilled squid. Mains were a catfish claypot which was flavourful and not too spicy and a soy beef dish which was recommended to me. I never would have picked this dish without prompting so it was good to ask for the waiter's opinion. Soft fillet of beef, salty soy marinade and salad was different and delicious. Service is friendly, smiling and not too intrusive. I would definitely go back if I was in the area.

Yelp
L-O-V-E this place. You know a restaurant deserves 5 stars when you eat there on a Friday evening, and plan on eating there again the very next day! Came here as a party of 4 at around 9pm without a reservation, and was seated right away even though they were quite full. If you are craving authentic Vietnamese food in Central London, this is the place for you. Very reasonable prices, and you can bring your own bottle of wine - note that they charge a pound and a half per person when you bring your own bottle, but this is only a one time charge as we brought two bottles of wine. After reading several reviews, I had the expectation that this place would be a hole-in-the-wall that serves amazing food. I was pleasantly surprised, as the restaurant is pretty large. There is a front dining room and rear dining room, and the decor is a no-frills but pleasantly decorated oriental style. The buzz in the dining room from the content patrons, and the delicious savory smell of char-grilled chicken and pork, seafood, fish sauce, sweet chili sauce, bone broth and mint is enough to draw any Asian food lover in. The dinner menu is a bit overwhelming as there are several pages, so if you aren't familiar with Vietnamese food you should read several Yelp reviews and make note of any favorites. I would recommend dining family style (sharing), so everyone can enjoy more than just one main each. The fresh prawn summer rolls and deep fried pork/prawn spring rolls are excellent. If sharing, note that each order of rolls is divided into 4 pieces. The seafood pancake entree, and fried squid are also noteworthy. I will definitely be a regular here.

Yelp
I have visited this restaurant several times throughout the last few years; on every occasion I've been highly satisfied and have readily recommended it to friends. While I haven't been back since I finished university last year, I recently suggested it to another friend who has just enrolled and thought it'd be useful to repeat what I said to them here. So its location is very convenient (especially for those in university housing right round the corner!), right on Kings Cross road, so easy to get to if you need a meal before a train ride also. Each and every time I ate there I was warmly welcomed by the staff who make sure you're happy throughout the meal also and are happy to advise you on what to order. As for the food it was the first place I tried Pho, and while I've had it elsewhere now also I still really like it here. A decent serving amount and very warming, thick broth- I'd personally recommend the beef pho. The special rice I had was also brilliant, made fresh which isn't always the case in my experience with the dish in other establishments. While it might not be a concern for everyone, one of the best points for me is that food is affordable here with deals for students - a lifesaver for me! Looking forward to returning here in future.

Yelp
We were visiting London for a few days and found this place near our hotel. The foods were just hit the spot. We liked so much that we went back for the second times! I have high expectation for being asian who love rich flavor foods. This place know how to make it. I highly recommended anybody who in this area to check out this place!
google avatar

Marcus L.

Yelp
To be honest, I have no idea how we ended up here, apart form the fact that we found it was nearby, and we found it on Yelp. A cosmopolitan bunch of peeps from work meant we were already going for something exotic, and that usually meant Asian food. Yay for being Asian! Jokes aside, I think we all had a bit of a challenging time deciding what to eat, and it wasn't because everything looked so good... I think the fuzzy pictures of foreign cuisine makes people a little apprehensive. And we haven't talked about the descriptions... wha...? Anyhow, by divine providence, we settled on ordering different dishes to share, including some inspired tofu rice rolls (with peanut sauce - yum!), and mixed platters that featured sweet potato fries, battered calamari, and a mega-spicy cucumber salad that surprised everyone! Throw in some oyster sauce-d beef in a claypot served on a plate LIT ON FIRE?! Yes, you're having the dinner you'll remember for a while yet. To top it all off, when you see the bill, everyone walks out with full bellies, and big smiles on their faces.

Yelp
Oh my. This is definitely going in my London list. Amazing home-made Vietnamese comfort food. The complexity of flavours is amazing...Taste explosions in my mouth at every bite!! We had one of the soups (31b: spicy noodle soup with cooked beef) and 35h: rice noodles with spring rolls and chargrilled pork - Check out the pics (from Andy F :)) Cannot WAIT to come back and try more of the menu. Great service, great menu.

Yelp
This place is such a great find. The staff are so helpful and polite, service is fast, and the pho is delicious! I've been here quite a few times and never been disappointed
google avatar

Kelly H.

Yelp
They make excellent food at a reasonable price. In fact, considering other restaurants, the price is actually slightly lower than average. Some clerks are not very kind and look slightly grumpy without any reason but the general quality of the service is still good. This is one of the must-go restaurants in London.
google avatar

Caren H.

Yelp
I have this place on speed dial for pho, summer rolls and spring rolls to go. It is my local and I have no complaints! It is no-frills and always packed (lunch and dinner). It doesn't have some of my favorites though like papaya salad--in fact they have very few salads. What they do they do well.
google avatar

Anansi T.

Yelp
Mmmm, Sen Viet doesn't look like much but it's home to some really reasonably-priced, tasty food. The staff are super friendly without being overbearing. Add Vietnamese coffee and a student discount to that, and you've yourself got a 5-star rating.
google avatar

Serinda O.

Yelp
So good. Serious. I could just have the beef pho broth alone and be content. This place was so good, I went twice. One for dinner and lunch two days after. The fried egg rolls are meaty and fried to perfection. The fresh spring rolls with shrimp and pork are also delicious. The pork thit nuong was delicious and seriously just the freshness I needed after overeating carbs and fat in Rome. Bottom line: go here. It's over priced, but it's so good!!!! Minus one star bc for dinner we didn't get shrimp chips like the other tables. Like, what gives? They were good shrimp chips too.

Ada S.

Yelp
We were looking go for a place to go for dinner and through yelp came across this restaurant. It is quite simple and basic when it comes to the interior though it did seem busy and there was a bit of a buzz. The service is also friendly but average. We ordered crispy spring rolls, which were ok- steam beef, most of the beef pieces were tender but not all which I found odd- pork belly, this one was good and egg fried rice. I'd recommend taking cash, their card machine wasn't working so it was definitely awkward when we had to pay.
google avatar

Andy M.

Yelp
Visited last night for the first time and all 3 of us were impressed with all of the selection of old favourites and more unusual dishes we ordered. I was particularly impressed with the balance of spicy chilli and refreshing mint/herbs (to my palette at least!). The service was very friendly (if not immensely efficient) and the bill came to £15 a head (with service) for enough tasty food to feel slightly uncomfortable on leaving, and a beer each. Bargain! I'd definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

Yelp
Wow the Vietnamese food here is great! We got the fresh rolls to start with and I got the beef pho. The rolls are good-sized and had lots of flavour and I especially liked their new BBQ pork roll. I initially thought the pho was a bit small and there wasn't enough noodles (and also thought the texture was a bit too soft) but it really filled me up in the end. My friend also liked the pho, but she wasn't a big fan of the fried icecream, which tasted weird with the outing being not crunchy at all. So I suggest to stick to the Vietnamese classics here. The place was really hard for me to find, so maybe it's good to service was so quick.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was lovely. Little space but long as others don't mind you sitting so close. The staff were really friendly and the waiter helped me pick my dish as I've never had Pho before. I tried the summer roles without mint. I had the seafood Pho was so filling, spicy just amazing.

Yelp
not my favourite - was there for lunch. The lunch menu is quite extensive - it has everything form Pho to sandwich to stew to grill dishes. The pricing is also quite affordable - about £7 for soup noodles and some rice dishes are £5. Quality for me only was a reflection of the price - I found the soup noodles quite salty and filled with MSG whilst grilled dishes were not exactly char-grilled. Services were extremely unfriendly - I felt as if I was not welcome to dine in... to be fair, I ordered 10 minutes before lunch closing time so maybe that is why. :-D Anyway, think it may be worth trying but for me - once was a good adventure.

Yelp
Fresh flavorful pho, quick friendly service, and nice prices. You're given a bowl of not-too-greasy prawn chips to start while you wait, but the soup comes out surprisingly quickly after ordering - perhaps because its just a matter of assembling the ingredients: The beef was really tender, just the right amount of noodles (usually I have so many left over), broth was complex and not overly salty. All the regular fixins (sprouts, basil, chili peppers and lime) are fresh. Don't forget to ask for a student discount!

Yelp
I've never made it into the actual restaurant but I've had delivery from here on multiple occasions.... It's not easy to find actual Vietnamese delivery, but having found this little diamond on hungryhouse I've now got it on speed dial. The food is always delivered to a standard I would expect in a restaurant, the packaging is suitable for the food and delivery time is always reasonable. The best thing though is the value for money... A meal is under £10 and usually more than enough for two! Shame delivery is £15 min!.. Just have to order more! :)

Yelp
Love this place, so much authentic choices. I recommend the spring rolls and the banh canh which is a noodle soup not found in many places in London. Reasonable price and friendly staff
