Everything TikTok Restaurant Reviewer Keith Lee Ate in Seattle | Eater Seattle

"Visited at the request of a fan who said the restaurant struggled during COVID; Lee's family purchased doro wat, beef tibs, oatena, injera, and samboosa. He found the beef tibs' presentation lacking because grease was leaking from the to-go container; although the beef was tough, its flavor was described as "deep" and "spicy." Several family members rated the dishes with varied opinions. The samboosa was not to his liking—too many lentils and "very mushy," earning a 1—while the doro wat was compared to barbecue or braised chicken and given a 7.9. Lee and his family also left $1,000 to pay for anyone who came in to eat after them." - Courtney E. Smith

Best Ethiopian restaurant ever. Loved the meat combos and veggie combo. The sambosa is also the best I’ve ever tasted.

We tried this restaurant for the first time today and we loved it! We had the #13 vegetarian platter, sambosas, and oetena, it was all very good. We also had the ceremonial Ethiopian coffee and it was amazing! The owners are so nice, excellent customer service, we’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I shared the Number 12 meat combo and it was so delicious and filling! Also very affordable lunch for two people compared to most places in Seattle. The look and appearance of the restaurant is very local/cozy, like a family member is cooking for you.

Shiro wot so good, I went to leave a review and found I'd already rated it five stars. The beef tibs are delicious and they always give me lots of injera

This is one of those restaurants where they just have a tv playing the news with the volume on so you know the food is good and the owners aren't messing around. Sambosas were off the charts. Veggie combo very very good. Doro Wot, great as expected, served bone on. They also give you a lot of injera, most Ethiopian places I've gone to, I typically need to order extra. Parking in the back but only two or three spots and there's like some wood pallets around. I wanted to ask them if I could have a pallet but I didn't.

Ordered Lamb Tibs was served MUTTON instead and it was disgusting, tasted and smells rotten, yep thats mutton, yuck. They cut corners, lost a customer, earned themselves a 1-star review.
