"Discreetly wedged into the heart of the Arenal neighborhood, this ultra-sleek locale is run by two young talented professionals: Fátima Villanueva, who offers one of the most innovative wine lists in the city, and Jesús León Delgado, who’s behind the seafood-centric menu. While a few staples remain on the menu all the time, specials change daily, often highlighting underrepresented cuts of fish like tuna neck and memorable preparations of Iberian pork. “Déjate llevar” (let yourself go) and allow Delgado to take you for a culinary ride through the Andalusian coast. A seat at the bar gives you a sneak peak into the action." - Megan Lloyd

Señor Cangrejo artistic approach to Gastronomy is truly phenomenal. The chef brings multiple cultures of the places he’s lived into the dishes and the service is next level. We walked in on a slower day and lucked that the afternoon service was not full. Our waitress was lovely, very friendly and also spoke fluent English. She was ready and quick to tell us about what was in each dish and also provide great recommendations that were specific to the local food culture. It was also my partner’s birthday and we were surprised with a delicious dessert at the end. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

We had an absolutely superb lunch at Señor Cangrejo this February. The ambience was both beautiful and comfortable, setting the perfect tone for a relaxed meal. The short yet thoughtfully curated menu featured a selection of shareable dishes—we ordered six between us—finishing with a stunning piece of turbot. What impressed me most, however, was the extensive wine list, rich with local selections. The real highlight? Every wine was available by the glass, thanks to Coravin. It’s a truly wonderful way to drink. I let Fatima, the owner and sommelier, choose a pairing for me, and each selection was spot-on. A special mention to Joana, our waitress, who was both knowledgeable and attentive, elevating the entire experience. A fantastic meal from start to finish—I can't wait to return!

We were served by Fatima and Joanna and their hospitality was truely first class. They offered both an ala carte and a chef’s selection menu and because their produce could change daily based on the produce they had access to, we went with the chef’s menu and put our trust in Fatima’s taste in wine to pair with the food. Our highlights of the night was a take on a prawn tartare with sea urchin, the tuna with a harissa style sauce with Peruvian mint and the rice pudding brûlée with a hint of ginger. We were very pleased with each dish and the chef’s ability to showcase their creativity but also let the flavours of the local produce shine. What a beautiful menu and pairing we were privileged to experience. Thank you again for your generosity especially with the vermouth and incredible service from the entire team. Sending lots of love from Tiffany and Khang

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Recommended through a food review. It was one of the best food experiences I’ve had for some time, akin to Michelin star standard but very reasonable in comparison. I would recommend booking. You will not be disappointed.

Where is the 6? This restaurant busts the rating scales on every front. We arrived just shy of 9 and the place was quiet. Our very friendly and professional waiter, Nico, greeted us and offered us a high table with a full view of the bar and open kitchen. We left the staff create a special menu for us stipulating only we didn’t want cheese. They told us special menus averaged 70€; in the end, we were full to the eyes and they charged us 65€. Incredible value for the quality and generous portions . We enjoyed 2 small dishes, 2 mid-sized dishes, one exquisite small squid, and a thoroughly delicious and very generous cheek and neck of fresh cod. Coming from Canada where there is/has been abundant cod, this was the best ever. The staff were attentive, friendly and motivated. The space is funky, informal and well designed. The noise level was perfect. By 10, the place was hopping for good reason. Book early. And remember this place is a 6 (not a 5)!

We had one of the best culinary experiences in Sevilla at this restaurant. It is truly a hidden gem! The management is very much involved ensuring your satisfaction, the chef is outstanding! The som gave us a variety of options to pair the delicious flavors with the wine. We liked it so much we went again with some friends and just ask them to give us their selection, which was just outstanding!! As someone who researches tourism in various areas, I can highly recommend those of you who seek a unique experience to go Señor Cangrejo, ask Fatima or any other staff to amaze you (you can mention my name if you'd like).

Fantastic experience of Andalusian cuisine. Great wines. The food is innovative and yet rooted in Andalusian cuisine. One can see that the chefs are well traveled and are obsessed with the food that they like which then translates well to the food that you eat. A happy place filled with people who enjoy what they do. 80 euros for a tasting menu is a steal and if one can afford that then they should partake in it. I guess come here if you are traveling in Spain and want something different than just bodega tapas.
