I have attended this location on numerous occasions. There was a different chef and manager when they first opened. You can tell the difference right away. They do have a new manager & chef now. It is authentic Mexican food. The establishment is cozy but legit Mexican decor and Latin vibes. The food is great and outdoor patio is a nice size. I don’t drink but my group likes their margaritas and whatever else they drank. I would definitely give them a try. They now have brunch!!

Wandered in for lunch, no problems sitting, and the server was very attentive. Excellent ambiance with the option for indoor or outside seating. The selection of food is small-seeming, but with a nice variety of options. The amazing part was when we got the food. It was just simply some of the best I've had anywhere outside Mexico itself and the accompaniments, while in smaller portions than Americans might be used to, were just right for the plates. I loved it and will definitely be back when I can. Thanks very much for a memorable meal.

Wow the chef offers incredible food the flautas were amazing and his mole is probably one the best I ever tasted. I can't believe how great the food is amazing take a date or your wife thier.

Our server had a huge attitude from the second we walked in and she wasn't very attentive. We are not needy people so we do not need our server by us the whole time we are there but she just had an attitude every time we asked her for something. And then at one point she was complaining to us that she was going to have a lousy day because the speakers went out so she couldn't listen to music. I thought that was a very odd thing to be mad at. It was super overpriced. There was four of us and two of us just got 2 two taco dinners and I drink water and my friend had a soda and the other two had quesadillas and two margaritas and it was $99. it's not even the point about the money it's the point about how our server treated us. If you do not like to work with people being a waitress is the worst job you that you can have LOL cuz you legit have to work with people. I doubt I would ever go back there but I guess it was an experience Side note she was able to find a huge speaker and put it directly next to our table where is it was extremely loud. Also we had mentioned to her we were glad that the music wasn't playing because we were down there to enjoy dinner and conversation but she insisted on finding music. She wasn't a very nice person she did not care about her customers at all and we generously tipped her even after all that I also forgot to mention that we were the only people in this restaurant the whole time we were there so there was no reason for our waitress to be more attentive to us and nicer and not so worried about playing music

So bummed to have to leave a one star review but it is for the owner, not the staff. We came last Thursday in the evening and it was SWELTERING hot inside. Since it was starting to rain, eating outside wasn’t an option. Turns out the air has been broken and no updates on it getting fixed. Even though we sat by the open door near the patio we still weren’t able to feel a breeze. Lupe was a great server but it sucked she was just as uncomfortable and hot as we were, and I don’t want to support a restaurant that doesn’t support the wellbeing and comfort of their staff or patrons. They have an extensive and yummy vegan menu with homemade tortillas which is a major plus! Our food was good and we were so happy to see they have happy hour and daily specials, but it was hard to enjoy dining here being so uncomfortable. The restaurant is filled with beautiful art and aesthetics (even the bathroom evoked duende!) but when staff and patrons are sweating over their meal, it dwindles the dining out experience.

The kitchen closes one hour before the restaurant closes so I didn’t get to try the food but the atmosphere was a chill vibe and the service was great.

Truly enjoyed the drinks and service. Can’t really speak for the food, as we only ordered the guacamole but it was great also!! Definitely plan to return on our next visit to the city.

I recently swung by Señoritas Cantina, ready for a fiesta of flavors, but it seems the kitchen didn't get the memo. I tried the barbacoa quesadilla and nachos, both of which were as exciting as watching paint dry in a beige room. On the bright side, the staff were all smiles and charm, which almost made up for the culinary snoozefest. But then, things got a little sitcom-worthy at the bar. Picture this: the bartender, not feeling her best, decides to season her own drink with a pinch of salt--straight from the rimming station. Talk about a personal touch! Let's just say it added a whole new layer of 'mixed drinks' to my understanding. While the visit had its moments, between the bland eats and the bar hygiene adventures, I might need to be a tad braver to venture back to Señoritas Cantina.

I had lunch here today with some friends and we all had a great time! One of my friends orders here frequently and the other hadn't been, like me! They have a big menu! I was surprised! When you sit they give chips and salsa for the table. Their salsa was pretty good. I ordered the flautas appetizer (as my main) and the "cup" of tortilla soup. I put quotes around cup because it was huge! I was so pleased with my food!! I feel like I've had not great flautas in Chicago and these were pretty good. There's a lot of fun decor in the place. Lots of nice light fixtures, fun pictures and cool tiling. There is a patio, that will come in handy in the spring and summer. They have happy hour and drink specials. I'm sure I'll be back for those!! Ps bottomless mimosas!

Stoped in to try some Mexican food. Omg not even close. Even got some chips and queso had to eat the queso with a fork

We visited this Mexican restaurant in South Loop for lunch. We sat indoors where the ambiance seemed a bit dark. We were first served house chips and salsa; chips were pretty warm and crispy! Also ordered Lime Mojito which was good too. For mains, we did Mahi Mahi tacos and veggie Mexican Sandwich, both were good. Had a nice time overall at this place.

New-ish Mexican restaurant to Printers Row! I love Mexican food so I was excited to try this place especially since it was around the corner from my apt! Stopped here on a Tuesday night! The place was very busy! We were seated within 15 mins! The house chips and salsa were delicious! I ordered enchiladas with the green sauce and my boyfriend ordered the Al pastor tacos! We also ordered the house margaritas - which were huge! The food was good but the service was slow. The staff seemed overwhelmed and our food and drinks took awhile to arrive. This place definitely has a vibe with the decor.

We sat outside on a beautiful day for lunch. I think the one waitress was taking care of the whole place, so it was a little slow. But we weren't in a hurry. The food was so delicious. The cheese dip was way better than I thought it would be.

I've been coming here at least once a month since they opened and gotta say it's one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. They have a good variety of Margaritas made with real fruit almost always order one. The menu has gone through a couple iterations. The mole and pozole are amazing and are two of my favorite items. I sort of miss the green rice they used to have it was different and bright but I understand it wasn't for everyone so they changed it to match customer expectations. When the weather is nice the patio is a good vibe but the decor inside the restaurant is great too. Would recommend and will be back.

Came here with coworkers after a long day. we had a great time and I was so grateful that they could accommodate our big group. Had a Michelada, barbacoa nachos, and elote and it was awesome. Will for sure be coming back.

Stopped by on a Thursday night to satisfy a taco craving...I didn't leave satisfied at all. The tamale was all masa and very little meat. The arrachera was borderline burnt. Just an fyi, this place stays open until 11pm but they close their kitchen an hour early!

My sister and I went for a "sisters day" and this place was great! We had steak nachos and the mahi mahi with garlic tomatoes sauce. The steak was very seasoned and flavorful & all the toppings were very good and complimented the steak. Beans were great! The fish was fresh and clean taste and the sauce was also very flavorful with garlic pieces. The fish comes with rice and black refried beans which were all very good! We did a pitcher of margarita with Don Julio anejo & got 5 glasses. They have sugar, salt & Tajin options for the glass rims. Service was good, our bartender who was also our server was very nice and fast. Nice ambiance - indoor and outdoor seating. We will be returning! :)

The place does not deserve any stars, my girlfriend and I both had severe stomach ache and diarrhea after dining in this Cantina last Wednesday. The food did not taste right , and we complained about it to the waiter. I wish we could get our money back!

I hope they are just having an off day but Wow, what a terrible experience today. I'm actually sitting here now having waited more than a half hour for my order of two tacos. I was not offered chips and salsa, although I see them under a heat lamp at the host stand. My $14 margarita was indistinguishable from ice water and I saw a runner drop a platter of food in front of the table he was bringing it to. Then my server got into an argument with two other guests, causing them to leave. And the music is, as ever, much too loud. I hope they were just understaffed but they seem to be going downhill somewhat. My food, when I got it, was still good, as usual.

Didn't pay attention to request for no cilantro in takeout order. Rice lacks flavor. Beans are average.

Perhaps even tastier than Gosling himself, they put the Ken in chicken tinga. Yes that's a Barbie reference...had to take what I could. Deducting one star because you can't have a taco be hotter than gosling and the others mere Steve Carells. I mean super funny guy, love him, but I'm not trying to laugh at my tacos I'm trying to be physically aroused by them. The chips and salsa were also a little too busy for my liking, I'm sure others appreciate it. Genuinely looking forward to ordering 3 tingas and nothing more.

New-ish taco spot to Printers Row! I was pretty excited to try this place after passing it during a walk. Senoritas Cantina has daily drink specials, lunch specials, and a variety of options meal wise. So far, I've visited twice and by far my favorite items are the steak tacos, steak quesadillas and the elote. I've tried a few other items and while they may not have been my favorite, I'm sure many others enjoy it. I will say, I was a bit disappointed by the drinks here however. They aren't very strong and on both occasions they seemed pretty watered down. However, the food is still good! Give it a try!

Stopped in here during the Lit Fest. Service was spread thin but also very crowded. Made it in time for lunch menu. Lots of vegan options for her. Chips and salsa was delicious. Burrito was super tasty with amazing sweet potato fries - would go back just for those fries! She liked her vegan tacos but one of the tacos' vegan beef was hard as a rock and totally over cooked. Very, very dry but she said it still had good flavor. She also was happy she could tell the beef was vegan so a plus there! Great outdoor seating and drink specials every day.

Scam. Be extremely careful. The workers will do anything to rip you off. I went with a friend and we had three margaritas each, an order of guacamole, and an extra order of the chips they serve when you walk in. The bartender who called herself a manager (and said she's there on Thursdays) charged my card without me seeing the bill (I handed it to her but didn't expect her to run it) $250. When I see the bill she had charged us for 10 margs. We did not have five each. I complained and she refunded me $80. But still?? $170 for six margs ($14), guacamole ($10) and chips ($7). The math isn't mathing. I loved this place and tried to bring them repeat business but every time I've gone recently there are random extra charges. This time was too much. They are scam artists. Be extremely careful.

Much needed addition to the neighborhood. My wifey and I have been anticipating this place opening for weeks and it did not disappoint. That little stretch of Dearborn is the perfect place for some cozy restaurants. Senoritas was honestly more upscale than I thought it was going to be. The decor and ambiance are trendy and hip without being too loud. Staff were very friendly. My wife likes the spice, so she obviously got the jalapeño margarita. Which was delicious and had a good amount of heat on the finish. I got the cucumber margarita which was cool and refreshing. Followed that up with some guacamole served with both tortilla a yuca chips. Really tasty. Entree wise, she got the tacos El Pastor and I got the chicken enchiladas with green salsa. We both really enjoyed our dishes. They were very well prepared with the appropriate amount of seasoning. The protein was juicy in both dishes. We will most definitely be back. I'm really looking forward to exploring the entire menu. I wish they offered mezcal versions of their margaritas- maybe they do, I didn't ask. But it wasn't an option on the menu. Also, I wish there was an option for ala carte tacos or at least a combo taco platter. Lastly, the food here is really high quality and speaks for itself. It doesn't need any gimmicks with the pink tortillas or green rice. Overall, I'm really happy this place moved into Printers Row. It's without question better than Flacos Tacos or the recently departed Spanglish (how does a taco place literally inside a college dormitory building fail?) The place was pretty swanky and is a great date spot. My special lady agrees.

Tried this place after seeing a snap reel of how good it was. The drinks were terrible. They lacked flavor and alcohol. Served in a plastic reusable cup, made it taste even worse. Food was decent. The enchilada red sauce was more like a tomato cocktail sauce rather than a spicy enchilada sauce, it was very "ketchup" forward. The shredded chicken inside the enchiladas was decent. The service was great. The server was friendly and attentive.

Knocking one star for the service. Other than that - the food was excellente. We ordered a carne asada and the lunch taco platter along with the tamales. They were very good, probably the best in South loop and at par with places in Pilsen and we had no complaints. I would have loved to try out different tacos in the platter but they allow only 1 kinds. The house nachos (complimentary) came with salsa verde and they were out of the red salsa. The salsa verde didn't have any salt so we added some on the top - no complaints about that though unusual. The service was underwhelming - we walked in and the menu was provided to us 15 minutes later after asking for it, and then within 10 seconds another server asked us if we were ready to order. I think the only feedback I would give is to maybe add one more hand and organize the staff better as there was a lot of confusion and people just not sure what to do. I will definitely be visiting again, and hope that the service issues were just temporary.

All the margaritas are made with fresh ingredients not bulk premade mixes and you can really taste the difference. Great traditional style Mexican food all made with fresh ingredients. We always come on a Monday for the half price margaritas at this point we have tried almost everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed.

Went after work with a couple friends and the place was pretty empty yet the service was a little slower than I would have liked. The elite was really good and the tacos were decent so overall a decent experience. I'd stop by again if I was in the area but wouldn't go out of my way but there are definitely better Mexican places in Chicago.

No. No. No. Just no. I was hoping this would be your typical Mexican restaurant but no. They cut too many corners for the sake of Mexican restaurants all over America. The drinks are fine but the food - limited, and not hitting. Very basic taco options, and you can tell the quality of the ingredients is very low. Even the tortilla chips, how does a Mexican restaurant mess up the chips??--are awful. They taste hard, and stale. Where's the chips they make in the back? The fajitas? The taco salads? Etc. Not your ideal authentic Mexican restaurant.

Service was very poor. Only one person working the floor. Today 10/12/23 they had an art fair up and down the street. A few people walked in only to leave after waiting 15 minutes for a beer or drink. The food looked great, good flavor nice presentation but ICE cold. Worth a second chance but no time soon.

I went back here for a 4th time and I get less impressed each time. Went back on a Thursday evening with a few people and the service was incredibly slow, the nachos were stale but the individual drinks were pretty good but the pitcher of margaritas were not strong. I think I've concluded that this is a good drink spot with some ambiance but the food is just okay. I was also very annoyed that I was charged a credit card fee but it was not mentioned to me that there was a fee. Also I guess automatic gratuity for 6 or more? Also wasn't communicated, even if it's common. I'd love better service and better food but for now I guess the margaritas will do

I am glad this place opened in my neighborhood. It's a great spot for a date or to take your visitors. There's a wide variety of dishes, drinks, and the seating is comfortable indoors and out. Some of my favorite things is the live music, the building is long so it's easy to get a spot by the window, and the food was great. There's parking on the street and you can see your car if you sit in the window or on the patio. I ordered takeout and I was waiting for plastic ware. I stood there for a fairly lengthy period of time before they assured me someone was getting the plastic fork from their basement. The person came back upstairs empty handed and the team didn't bother to tell me they didn't have any. I was frustrated with the time I lost waiting after they assured me someone was going to get it. The whole ordeal was disorganized but stuff happens. It was overall a positive experience and I will try them again. Enjoy!

Not bad, but not great. For appetizers, skip the queso fundido -- price was too high for too little, but it did taste very good. Do get the shrimp mahi mahi and clams ceviche for an appetizer. Ask the server for more chips if you run out. We also tried the barbacoa and the rostizado tacos. Both were good including the sides of rice and the beans (beans were best). As for the drinks, they were good but they were missing menu items...because they failed to update the menus. We originally wanted frozen margaritas but we're told even though they were on the menu, they no longer sell them. Very disappointing. The music playlist was great. I also loved seeing the talavera tiles.

Welcome to the South Loop Senoritas! We really enjoyed our dinner and drinks here. Margaritas in an actual margarita glass is a plus for me :), and I thought they were delicious and well balanced. The food was all really good too. I especially enjoyed the guacamole (chips amazing), veggie quesadilla (great flavor and texture), and the carne asada entree (cooked perfectly and again great flavor). My only wish is that they did a la carte tacos and had a burrito on the menu. I enjoyed the arrachera tacos but liked the other items better. Although the food took a while, the server was very attentive and I'm sure they will work out the kinks as they just opened. Waiting for food was worth the free tequila shots they provided due to the wait ;). It's a cozy joint and I really like what they did with the space. I see many many more nights at Senoritas!

Great vibe and music. They have a drink special every weekday and the margaritas were on point! I got the taco platter and it was tasty!

What a wonderful time I had at the second location. A little upscale neighborhood but the prices are the same. Started off with a tequila tasting and full on course meals made of ceviche served on a cucumber slice, tacos that are made with blue tortillas and a tres leches cake.this palce is fun on circuses. Very Mediterranean inspired hanging lamps are just gorgeous. The bar is beautiful but of course you came for the food. I am very elated to taste some delectable foods ans try some of the smoothest tequlla I've tasted yet. Very impressed with the atmosphere and when they ope. The French doors, a nice little breeze adds to the perfect night. It's defintely a little different from the 18th street location. But nonetheless just as strong and energized with staff and foods. Parking is in street and since this considered downtown, you may pay a little but more but I will be honest that this is one of the spots I wouldn't of ventured to but will be returning just because it's so much fun!

We were originally going to flaco's tacos but this place piqued our interest. We should have gone to flaco's tacos. The food wasn't bad. There were chicken bone(s) in my friends stuffed quesadilla. And the queso was just a hard unmanageable bowl of cheese. If your into questionable green quesadillas served on a wooden block, this place is for you! The nights entertainment was when the waitress told us to "not eat" someone that was on our plate. Also be prepared for palm leaves that the waitress thinks are cardboard. Also the atmosphere is perfect if you want to stare into darkness! Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place because it kinda sucks.

Place was filthy. Tables not cleaned. Water glasses oily and smelly. Server sick with running nose. I got sick a day after eating here.

Just don't order from here. I placed an order and then was told via email that they were gonna charge another seven dollars because prices were different in the evening ( not mentioned in the menu). Unfortunately, I didn't have much choice at that point, since I was ordering for a couple of visiting friends. The food was just not good. The tamales- the masa was not cooked thru- raw (yuck). The chicken soup- over spiced with red chili you couldn't taste the chicken (one of my guest said how do you mess up chicken soup (but they found a way). Three chicken Mole enchiladas- was initially priced on the online menu at $ 13 and then added another seven dollars - when I called them to ask why the increase in price - she said because of p.m. hour prices - so that became $20 for 3 small enchiladas - those were gross and cold too- the tortillas that used in this were dry and stale even with the mole sauce (just not even edible). You'll be better off just ordering from some other place. Demasiado horrible!

Wonderful experience. Terrific ambiance, comfortable but also quirky and visually interesting. The margaritas, guacamole and chips were first rate. We had the shrimp tacos and the Puerco Guisado was so delicious with just the right spice. A very good place for both fun and a couple's night out.

We came here on such a random turn of events, as we were staying close by and wanted a late night dinner, but oh my gosh this place was delightful! Food came hot, drinks were cold and delicious. Great service!!

Our group was expecting flavorful Mexican food. Wow! Total disaster! Tortilla chips were tasteless. The queso was weird due to the mixed vegetables mixed in, including corn, carrots, peas, and green beans. The quesadilla looked more like a taco, the chicken tacos had no discernible taste, the flautas had the same bland taste. The margaritas were made some mango puree that wasn't even drinkable. When we informed the wait staff that the meals were unacceptable, they tried to credit our $75 bill with a $20 reduction. No way were we paying for meals that we found to be disgusting. Finally, the wait staff told us to 'just leave.'

The food is poorly seasoned, the staff was horrible, just an overall bad experience. We waited for an hour to realize we didn't have our drinks, most of the food came out cold, when we complained, they refused to fix our meals. We just paid out bill and left!!!! BTW, we had reservations for a birthday dinner and they can't handle large parties. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I've been coming here for about a year. Service is always fast and they make you feel welcomed. Happy hour deals are one of the best around the area and the food is delicious. They also play really good music.Lupe gives great recommendations and always has a great attitude .

Food was delicious! The drinks were alright, the mango margarita is definitely the way to go! It was a little crowded and the music was loud but over all a fun vibe and experience, plus the staff was super nice!

We sat ourselves and grabbed our menus. once the server arrived she was friendly and food was served quickly. it was actually better than aspected. It was very hot in there. the air was either turned off or broken. We weren't fans of the chip and salsa but the quesadillas and tacos were a hit.

The pork belly taco maybe be one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. Great level of heat and packed with flavor. Pork just melts in your mouth.

This was my 2nd time here as a friend lives across the street. The first visit we just got chips and salsa and margaritas to go. I got the pineapple in the little to go pouch and they were good. I revisited last night and we walked in no waitress to seat us but one of the bus boys greeted us and told us he would seat us. The waitress came over to our table after helping another table that arrived after us. We saw several other people that worked there but there was only one waitress. When she finally arrived to our table she was friendly but seemed very rushed. I tried the barbacoa tacos and my friend had the chicken. The Barbacoa was ok i would rate it a 2.5/5 the rice wasn't my favorite and the beans were fine. I had the mango margarita. I'm a very light weight with drinks and i almost felt like it was a virgin margarita. I will give it a try earlier in the afternoon next time to see if there is a difference considering we got there at 1030pm. I wasn't impressed at all!
