Sente: The Flavour of Lotus

This place has a really cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing meal. The food was definitely unique and offered some interesting dishes that I haven't tried before. Each dish had its own distinct flavor, which made the experience feel fresh and exciting. It's a great spot if you're looking to try something different and explore new tastes. However, while the menu items were creative and flavorful, I felt that the portion sizes could be improved. I would have liked a bit more food for the price, especially since the dishes were so enjoyable. Overall, I enjoyed my time here and would consider coming back to try more.

Visited Nov25/ couple I originally tried to book a one-star Michelin restaurant, but there was an issue with the reservation. While searching online, I found this Michelin-listed restaurant, and in the end, I’m actually glad the original plan didn’t work out. The food here was truly delicious. The ingredients were beautifully balanced, and many of the flavours were completely new to me — in the best way. I really enjoyed every dish. The dessert was reasonable, though not the highlight, but all of the other dishes (shown in the photos) were fresh, unique, and full of flavour. We ordered everything for two people and the portions were definitely enough. Including drinks, the total came to around 25 euros per person, which is extremely good value for money. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I would happily return

Last night, we had a wonderful dinner at Sente, following a recommendation from a friend and it truly delivered. From the moment you step through the small courtyard, the atmosphere sets the tone. There’s something immediately familiar and reassuring about the place. It feels less like a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone’s home, where the table is already set and the conversation flows easily. The food was excellent throughout: thoughtful, well-balanced, and clearly prepared with care. Refined without being pretentious, generous without being heavy. The kind of meal you enjoy slowly, sharing plates, stories, and a good glass of wine with friends. What makes Sente particularly special is that it manages to combine comfort, quality, and affordability …. a rare balance. If you’re looking for a place where you can feel truly comfortable, enjoy great food, and leave feeling satisfied rather than overwhelmed, this is definitely one to add to your list. Highly recommended.

Must really say food at Sente is fantastic and lotus themed! What could make the dinner perfect for our family of 10 is better service. Doesn’t take away from the uniqueness of the dinner, just a pity that the staff weren’t better trained.

Worthy of its Michelin nod. Fine casual dining with unique flavours from its lotus theme. We ate here two nights because the food was so good. What to order: - Fish soup (comforting, low sodium goodness) - Grilled fish with sticky rice on the side - Eel on sticky rice - grilled pork Very nice ambience too.

My partner and I came here for food this evening (Thursday, 30th of October). We had not made a reservation but luckily they had a space upstairs. Food was exceptional, the salad in particular was delicious. I wanted to extend a particular thanks to our waiter (sadly we didn’t catch his name) he was extremely helpful, always quick to accommodate and super polite. My partner and I left a tip, but we gave it to the kitchen staff as we were leaving because our waiter was working in another room, I just wanted to personally reach out, both to so he knows we appreciated him and to ensure he received the credit he deserves. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Fine vietnamese restaurant with slight french twist but still very local. Delicious and in old local home. Selection of wines too. Attentive service to match. Go for set mealnfor 2 or 4 and add if more than 2 or 4. Btw, make sure go to right Sente restaurant.

I like the place it’s cozy, spacious and consistently good food. The star of the night was the grilled beef tender, perfectly cooked, and the pepper sauce was the soul of the dish. 🙏🏻 I have a perfect birthday dinner. Thank you.
