"The long-running Korean sausage company is pulling up its Little Tokyo stakes and moving on. Seoul Sausage Little Tokyo first debuted in late summer 2015 along Los Angeles Street, part of a big new development meant to bring upscale condominiums to the edge of Little Tokyo and greater Downtown beyond. The restaurant, which started as a popular food truck, was always casual in its approach to Korean snack foods and drinks, and for a time played well against more serious restaurants nearby like Redbird." - Farley Elliott

Seoul sausage was delicious. We watched them on the great food truck race and wanted to try their food. It definitely exceeded our expectations. We had "the trainee" which was a sampler platter of the burger, sausage, and rice balls. Definitely recommend it! The food was fresh and tasty. The flavors were outstanding.

It was a really nice place and the food was good. The staff was super friendly. I came in for a quick bite since I've heard of this place. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because while the food was good or just didn't match my expectations. For example, I ordered the Kimchi pork dog (not sure of the name) and I expected it to have a kick. But it didn't, it was more like a relish with a little Kimchi flavor.

Took my step Dad there for lunch. He's in a senior home and everytime I take him out he wants his beer. Doesn't matter what he eats but needs his beer. So of course, looked up in Yelp beer with food in Downtown LA, Little Tokyo and voila, pops of Seoul Sausage. I though why not, it's close and my dad will still get his beer and whatever else, usually a sochu/soju. We head down there and it's really a nice place. Small but nice. Big bar, several large screen TV's to watch the games, tables indoors and outdoors. Perfect. We ordered the food and what I like was that it's like ordering Spanish Tapas but instead it's Korean Tapas. Everything was super good, the Korean Fried Chicken, the mini salad tacos, Korean style Banh Mi, Kali burger, tater tots, and Kali Dog. . The service was great. Um, let me just say that we were the only ones eating, everyone else was at the bar....I'm going back with my daughter so that she can try it. I'm definitely getting the fried chicken and salad tacos.

Great kalbi beef and barbecue food. I especially like the k barbecue Bowl. Always a great atmosphere and good prices for downtown.

The food was great, but I ordered a beer while I waited and it was $8. Wow! That's a lot for one beer! I had a fried chicken on white rice bowl, the ad said habanero sauce, but instead there were jalapenos on it. Still good, but I missed the heat. Too much for beer tho, I'll go to a nice bar or restaurant for those prices. This place is for lunch at best. Great location too. Too bad.

The creativity, variety, and use of puns in their menu is excellent. The spot itself has a great vibe--lots of outdoor seating, doors wide open, a Street Fighter arcade game inside, and shelves of well-organized liquor. The food + drinks were tasty with a unique edge--they have 3 versions of fried potatoes smothered in sauce! And 1-hour validation in the $$$ garage attached to the complex ($2.00/20 min). My biggest qualm was with the service. We did go during an off hour (3:30 pm on a Saturday). There was one server, one bartender, one bar back (?), and one owner; there were 3-5 tables occupied at any given moment. We had to do a lot of flagging down and asking for things--like water. And ordering. I felt like our server had zero interest in serving (us in particular? or guests in general?), and her aloof curtness was really off putting. So, despite the siren song of all the super fun-sounding menu items I didn't get to try, I doubt I'll be returning.

Given their name .. They did not serve any sausages at all Was chicken. Wings and tenders along with one beer. Prices were good and was told this a popup thing with chicken. The wings were very crispy with sweet and savory. Beers were $4 .. So pretty specific food and very limited selection
