"In Wicker Park, Seoul Stick provides tasty street food — ramen, Korean dogs, and more — at very affordable prices with most items under $10. This is the type of food for a quick meal or the day after a late night. Who doesn’t want fries covered in Cheetos dust and Parmasean?" - Ashok Selvam, Eater Staff

"Seoul Stick is a solid spot for a quick bite in Wicker Park when none of the nearby pizza, taco, and pastry spots are spurring any inspiration. The menu has tasty Korean street food like gochujang-glazed tteokbokki skewers, cheesy corn dogs, and comforting cups of spicy ramyun with egg and fish cake. And though the snack-sized servings don’t qualify as a meal on their own, anyone who has constructed a full dinner out of Chili's appetizers can use the same strategy here. The bright space is small with only a few tables, but people don’t usually linger too long or are just getting things to go. Which means a seat should free up before you’ve even made it through three K-Pop music videos playing on their TV. " - John Ringor

Yelp
The best Korean street food. These corndogs are the best in the area with the options available. The corndogs are so crispy and so flavorful! As a vegetarian, I always get them with mozz but my husband loves getting half and half with beed sausage and mozz or just with beef. The hot cheeto, buldak, original and the gamja are some of our faves. The rose ttebokki and the original ttebokki are our favorites, theyre definitely spicy so beware if you don't like spice. They can make it vegetarian on request. We love the food here and are definitely regulars!

Yelp
Came as part of my 5,700 mile food tour. Really excited for the uniqueness of the menu. Ordered the following: Sausage and cheese stick bokki (rice cake, sausage, gochujang) + BDD Corn Dog (ramyun crumbs and spicy glaze with hotdog and cheese inside ). Enjoyed the crunch of the ramen around the sausage. The cheese meshed well with it. Staff member super friendly. Minor bummer was the specialty item on site was different upon arrival.

Yelp
Original Corn Dog: You have the option of beef sausage, plant sausage, mozzarella, and half and half. These options are all of the same price, which is great if you're going with beef but not-so-great if you choose mozzarella. In what world is mozzarella the same price as meat? Even the Stick-Bokki's adjust the price for no-meat option. I complain as someone who wanted mozzarella. The spicy mayo was so good, and there's a list of condiments options by the register. This corn dog was on the crisper side, and you WILL get that cheese pull! Original Stick-Bokki: Densely packed with rice cakes! They were a lot skinnier than I'm used to, but I forgive that for the lack of space. The flavor of this is hard to describe but still delicious. I'm happy with how crispy this was :) The other things on the menu sound like they'd be delicious, but again, questionable prices. I'd have to see a portion size really worth it to be sure, but I'm not willing to make that gamble just yet. Our food came out pretty quick with less than 5 minutes of waiting and no one ahead of us.

Yelp
I got the ramyun/tteokbokki and it was way too sweet for me. But the Korean corn dog was AMAZING! The other rice cake was also good but the beef was definitely the Korean corn dog.

Anita L.

Yelp
Got to-go and it was ready pretty quickly. The soddok soddok was crispy and packed well (love that the box had a hole for the stick!). I also ordered the ramyun tteokbokki and was really impressed by the flavor! Great heat on it and lots of goodies like fish cake, sausage, rice cakes, cabbage, and cheese. I normally don't like the ramyun one but I may be converted now! They also had boba tea available but I didn't get a chance to get any. A little pricy ($25) for the meal but happy with the food.

Yelp
Was worried it would be gimmicky, but I was wrong! The range of snacks is great and there are plenty of indulgent foods to choose from. They nailed the sweet potato hot dog imo. Even though they took a while to make our food, it was worth it because you could tell it was freshly made. They mimicked the Korean street food vibes well with the decor. The kpop music videos playing in the background were fun as well! - AT

Yelp
This was surprisingly good! In my opinion, better than we had in South Korea. We had the sausage stick-bokki and the ingredients were all of great quality. The rice cakes were well toasted, the sausage had great flavor, and the sauce was tasty without being too spicy. It's not cheap for how much food you get but it's worth checking out if you're in the area.

Yelp
I love Seoul Stick! We came here just as an impromptu detour since the sign caught our eye from across the street. Their corndogs and stick-bokki (which is really just 떡꼬치 TteokKochi) were so crispy, and their sauce was very flavorful. The interior has a mostly minimalist aesthetic, but the service is reliable (albeit a little long, since they do make everything to order) and the ambiance is quite relaxing. It would be very nice to come here with a small group of friends to get Korean street food.

Bridget M.

Yelp
I wanted to like this place more than I did. It located near a lively intersection and really commits to a Korean culture decor and ambiance (eg, has K-pop videos playing). I went with one other person and we both got the corn dogs and were underwhelmed. The sweet potato corn dog was unfortunately a little burnt with blackened pieces that didn't taste as good. The hot Cheeto corn dog was better cooked and had better flavor. The hotdog itself didn't have the best flavor. Being Chicago, the bar for hotdogs is high! Lastly, the service was great. The staff were nice and helpful. I appreciated that they explained items on the menu and brought over condiments when we asked about them.

Dakota T.

Yelp
If I lived close to this place, my health would be in serious danger. Ordered the tteboki/sausage stick and the injeolomi corn dog with half cheese and half hot dog and both were just incredible. Perfect textures, well cooked and super flavorful. This would make a great midnight snack. It would be cool if they were BYOB!

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Haven't had anything I didn't like here. Their Korean corn dogs are great. Perfectly formed. Some of the ones I've had around the city are all misshapen and too much batter. I always get half cheese half dog. My only thing is it's always first half cheese second half dog. I would like both cheese and dog in one bite, please KCD gods make this happen. If they've figured out mozzarella sticks surely this food technology can be applied. Also tasty here is anything dduk (rice cake). On a stick? Yum. In gochujang sauce? Yes.

Yelp
Cute, small place offering Korean snack/street food. It's nice--not much in terms of dine-in but it's cute. A plain interior, not much to say about the overall ambiance of this location. Food is kind of expensive. $8 for a cupbokki--and it's not a huge portion. Maybe I was spoiled by Korean restaurants in TX, but the portions here are small and I'd rather just buy tteokbokki and make it myself at home. The boba was decent--tea was okay and the actual tapioca was alright. I'm kind of disappointed with it, the boba was overcooked when we went but the taro milk tea was creamy. Service was standard. Anyway, this place is okay. I'll go here when I really want to eat tteokbokki while at work, but I don't see myself being a regular.

Jane D.

Yelp
This is definitely a treat yourself spot, but I LOVE Korean corn dogs and tteokbokki in general. They are super friendly, and the food comes out pretty fast. I got the cheese and classic stick-bokki - both were great - I do like the crispy texture sometimes vs the saucier tteokbokki. I got the hot Cheeto corn dog with half and half. Thoroughly enjoyed it, but a little toooo much mayo for me. Would order another one to try different ones, but I still enjoyed it. Would return whenever I'm in town! Counter service - they call your name when it's ready and you pick up the tray or to go order.

Mona T.

Yelp
A pretty new, hyped up spot on Wicker Park's Milwaukee Ave serving a solid range of classic Korean street food staples. It's counter-serve, and the interior is decently spacious, but there aren't too many tables in total. It can get kind of pricey if you're trying to have it as a full meal, as the portions are pretty small / snack-sized. But the prices are reasonable-- everything below cost ~$38. My friend and I tried the following items: - Rose Cup-Booki: Big fan of this one; the flavors were strong, the textures were soft and creamy; delicious all around. - Injeolmi Corn Dog: Got this one with all beef sausage-- I liked it! The grainy flavor was pretty distinctive. - Hot Cheeto Corn Dog: Got this one with all mozzarella-- the hot cheeto flavor wasn't as strong as I expected, but it was pretty good still with the sweet and spicy mayo flavors pulling through. As a whole, the corn dogs are better than Kong Dog (my only point of reference lol). - Original Stick-Bokki: This was pretty good too-- the texture is tight and sticky. A lot of people do takeout here, so we found a seat pretty easily on a Sunday night. The food was pretty slow to come out though. Overall, I was a fan and would come back to try the other stuff on the menu. They have a good amount of vegetarian options too! -- Price (relative to peers): 4.1/5 Food: 4.3/5 Ambience: 4.4/5 Service: 4.5/5 Overall Value: 4.3/5

Yelp
Can confirm still bumping ! Hope this place stays in business for a long time ! Workers are always really friendly and food is delicious.

Yelp
This is the perfect place if you're craving a little snack. I got the hot Cheeto Korean corn dog with spicy mayo and sweet chili sauce. IT WAS SO GOOD. The corn dog was crunchy and had the perfect amount of Cheeto coating. I ordered the corn dog with half cheese and half hot dog. This place lost points for the long wait (15 for an empty store) and the weird configuration of the half and half option. When I ordered the half and half I was expecting half cheese and half hot dog in the entire thing, but instead, the top part was cheese and the bottom of it was the hot dog. So weird they did it this way! I still highly recommend though. There is plenty of space to sit and enjoy your yummy snack.

Amanda C.

Yelp
Delicious Korean street food! We ordered a corndog, ramen tteokbokki, and stick-bokki. All so good (but also spicy so be careful!). Great for that junk food craving lol. Portions were good for the price. Service a bit slow when busy but understandable. The stick-bokki had a bit too much glaze for my liking but it was fine. Would return!

Michelle M.

Yelp
Omgoodness. I love this spot. Such a cute little joint in the city serving AWESOME Korean street food. Umm... yes please! The service was cool. The food was super delicious and I was just so happy to be here. They have this cool little wall with Seoul "drawn"... it has two clocks. One with Chicago's time and another with Seoul's time, 14 hours later. I mean. How cool, right? Bathroom was clean. Street parking.

Yelp
New korean street food location in wicker park! I'm glad I finally got to check out the food here. I think we came during their soft opening. We got the beef sausage corn dog with spicy mayo and the sausage stick-bokki. Both items came out hot. The corn dog was my favorite. The breading was crunchy and sweet. The corn dog is a good size and one is probably enough for most. Stick-bokki alternates a baby sausage and rice cake on a stick with spicy, sweet gochujang glaze. I would say the glaze is the perfect amount of heat for most people. You can taste the spicy but you don't really need water. The manager? walked around and made sure people were enjoying their food. He offered us water and lemonade as well. This is the perfect place to get a quick snack with your friends or if you want to satiate your late-night munchies. You can eat in the store or walk around with it as you explore wicker park. I'd definitely come back to try their cup-bokki and other corn dogs.

Angelina Z.

Yelp
Korean corn dogs are so underrated! I got the sweet potato dog with half-beef/half-cheese and it was a great snack. The breading was quite crispy :) Also the restaurant was super clean and peaceful

Yelp
Came to Seoul Stick on Sunday around 6pm! They were very busy and all seats were occupied. The man who took our order warned us that there would a a slight wait for our food (15-20mins) but we had no problem waiting! Our order actually came out in 12 mins :') I ordered the Original Corn Dog with Half Mozzarella and Half Plant Sausage! I was so excited to see that they offered plant based sausage, since most other popular Korea corn dog spots like Mochinut and Kong Dog don't! And the fact that you could make it with half mozzarella was even better! I haven't had real sausage in years so I can't compare the plant sausage to anything, but it did taste pretty good! I also liked the mozzarella half. My sister order the Sausage Stick-Bokki. She said it was good and flavorful and had some spice to it! They even offer boba! I'll definitely be back to try it! The bathroom was very clean! Perfect for a snack! Seoul Stick is definitely a great addition to Wicker Park! I will be back soon for their boba! :)

Summer S.

Yelp
A lovely spot for some authentic Korean street food! The Seoul bowl came with rice cake/ fish cake/ dumpling/ corn dog and it's really delicious

Lexi G.

Yelp
Seoul Stick is a fun counter-style, street food joint. I came to try the vegan gamja (potato) corn dog. Admittedly, I'm new to Korean corn dogs so I would do things a little different next time I order. For one I'd get my sauce on the side and if I am doing ketchup I might forgo the sugar. I'm very grateful that they serve a vegan sausage, but whatever they're using is a bit bland. Service was quick and friendly. There's plenty of seating and the decor is sparse and clean. There is a big TV showing Kpop videos and live stages that is sure to keep you entertained. Next time I want to try the stick-bokki!

Ha T.

Yelp
I love Korean food and had to stop by this Korean street food spot in Wicker Park! Overall I really liked both items since I loveeee rice cakes! :) overall the wait was a bit long but they were fairly new when I stopped by. I would stop by again if I'm in the area!

Dorothy S.

Yelp
I've now come here twice since they opened. I'm absolutely over the moon that this Korean spot opened in Wicker Park. The first time I came here was a Sunday around 5pm, it was jam packed and took 15 minutes for our corn dog and cheese and dduk stick. Was the wait worth it? I have to say YES. The dduk/cheese stick had a sweet glaze, love a sweet and savory moment. The corn dog had way too much ketchup on it, will be asking for ketchup on the side next time, but the corn dog was bomb. The second time we went, it was much quicker and less packed, we got the dduk and sausage stick, which was FIRE. The ramyun ddukbokki was very good too. I will be continuing to frequent this spot and highly recommend it! Parking over here can be rough, but you can usually find a pay to park spot.

Nahae K.

Yelp
Delicious food, solid service! We got the rose tteokbokki & sausage stick. Would get both again-- they were on point and satisfied our cravings. Can't wait to be back again! +Supporting a fellow Korean business?! Count me in

Nathan N.

Yelp
The corn dog and stick-polo were great little snacks to have while traveling around the city! Very convenient and delicious :) wish the Stick-bokki gave more for the price but the hot Cheeto corn dog was really filling

Max S.

Yelp
This place keeps coming on my feed so I had to take a ride. Got some street parking about 2 blocks away Place had some seating there so we grabbed a table. Started with the Seoul fries, they were so good with the cheese and powdery Cheeto crumbs. And then I got a sweet potato with cheese stick! So good, the sweetness from the potato and the cheese just went so well together ! Service was nice and quick

Kristen S.

Yelp
A cute counter-service place that serves Korean-style street food. I went in for a snack right before dinner so I didn't get too much food but after hearing about it, I wanted to give it a try. Tteokbokki is one of my favorite foods so I got the cheese-bokki on a stick. While I pictured something completely different when it came out, I wasn't mad about it. The cheese and condensed milk flavors gave it a sweet and savory taste (lactose intolerant girlies beware ). The tteokbokki was fried and had a yummy crunch to it with a chewy middle. Overall, very yummy!

Emily M.

Yelp
I'm so happy I stumbled upon this place while running errands in the area! The owner and employees are so kind. I ordered a Hot Cheeto corndog that was half beef and half mozzarella. I think the ingredients here were a better quality than other Korean corn dog places I've been to in Chicago. While I was eating, one of the staff members gave us samples of lemonade. It was delicious! Next time I visit, I will be sure to order some lemonade and some cup-bokki or stick-bokki, since they specialize in that. The interior is very clean and they usually have K-Pop music videos playing. I definitely recommend Seoul Stick!

Christina H.

Yelp
Saw this spot all over Instagram so I had to stop by when I was in the neighborhood and have to report that it was just ok. I got the stick bokki original and liked the chewy rice cakes but didn't expect the gochujang glaze to be so sweet. I also tried my friends corn dog with ranch and again, it was also just ok. If you're craving a quick Korean snack, it's a great place to check out but wouldn't say you need this asap. Service was great though!

Michelle G.

Yelp
I saw this place on Instagram, and honestly I can't always trust those food places I see on Instagram because it's about the aesthetic but not the food. This was not one of those places. This place was So Good and I would definitely go here again. I really loved it and highly recommend it. The Seoul cup bowl with the fried sausage in it, the Korean corn dog is the best I've had in Chicago, the crispy tteokbokki with sausage, and hot Cheetos fries were all delightful (maybe in that order but so tough because everything was so good).

Jacob M.

Yelp
This place is a must go to I love the food and the service is always a 10. The cheese stick bokki is probably my favorite thing to order

Michael B.

Yelp
Grabbed some takeout lunch from this new wicker park Korean Street food spot. Service was quick and friendly. Very flavorful and really nice textures. They fried the spicy sausage corn dog component when I ordered it and the fried dumplings were also nice.

Erika P.

Yelp
Loved this spot for Korean street food! I haven't had tteok kkochi (they're called Stick-Bokki here) in a while so this took me back to my childhood. The staff was super professional. I think the star of the show on the menu is the Seoul Cup-Bokki--it has so much stuff, like dumplings and an egg and even a whole corn dog

Alex C.

Yelp
Absolutely insanely good! Worth the trip we made all the way from Kenosha. As a high school kid late at night, couldn't recommend more!

Kim T.

Yelp
I've been dying for some authentic Korean street food and thought I could find it at Seoul Stick because everyone was hyping it up. However, it was your standard Korean street food in America. I wouldn't say it's Americanized because it isn't, but it tastes like the Korean street food that is available at Hmart's food court or Lotte's food court. If you are in town and would like to try, I recommend Stick Bokki Sausage and the Seoul Fries.

Jisha J.

Yelp
Lovely place! The food was all delicious. We got the Seoul cupbokki, sweet potato corn dog, Seoul fries, and a pineapple bubble tea with lychee jelly. Everything was delicious and fresh. Good portion size for everything and fast service. Definitely would recommend

Alicia L.

Yelp
This place is so cute, loving the vibes with the kpop music in the background. I'm glad we Korean street food in our neighborhood now. The owners are super sweet as well! Make sure to try out the original corn dog. The mozzarella is yummy and the garlic aïoli sauce gives it that sweet and savory flavor.

Seockju M.

Yelp
Rose cupbokki is full of flavor with the right amount of spice and corn dog is best I have tasted so far. All sauces compliments the foods well.

Colette M.

Yelp
Super super good! I got the half cheese half hotdog hot Cheeto one. It was so good that i just keep coming back for more! The staff is so kind & helps with any questions that you have. They know their menu very well! There is small amount of steering inside so it's not too bad if it's not crowded. They have fun music & the music videos playing! Def will be back!

Anthony O.

Yelp
I saw this place on tik tok and found out it was close to my house. So my wife and I decided to go here for lunch. There is a description of what we had in the pics. We each had a corn dog shared the fries and I had a cup bokkie and she had the stick- bokkie. Everything was amazing. The place was very clean and the service was very good and they were very friendly and gave recommendations. This will definitely be my new go to for cornfogs and rice cakes.

Jazmin N.

Yelp
Quick service. Pictured items ran me about $13. Definitely a spot to jump in for a quick snack vs an entire meal. There's plenty of table/counter space to sit at while enjoying your menu items and watching kpop music videos. Would come back.

Picke E.

Yelp
The food here is pretty alright, there aren't many places to get tteokboki and korean corndogs so it's a fun place to go. That being said, at least when we went the place was smoky and smelled like oil throughout the restaurant. The tables weren't very clean and the trash cans were covered in sauce. The tv playing KPOP videos was fun, my friend and I had a good time watching. Prices aren't great to be honest, a small cup of tteokboki will run you over $10. Another review said it was a "treat yourself" spot and I agree. I think maybe we just came at a bad time.

Zoe N.

Yelp
Service was alright, and as this was my first tteokbokki cheese stick (nice, hot, juicy, chewy, sweet) I was very excited! I did experience a hair being in the rice cake itself which was unsettling... and that strawberry smoothie is not worth seconds nor the price. Besides that, I'm sure other items may taste just fine.

Christine J.

Yelp
As a Korean American, I'm all for anything Korean or fusion in Chicago. Bonus points for veg/vegan options. Showed up at 330, but didn't get food until 423...and ordered a corn dog, fries and rice cakes. Food was cold despite taking so long and people who ordered after us already had their food and drinks. Food was ok, but I could have had better in the hmart food court for faster and cheaper. Doesn't seem like this place has their stuff together so it's a no for me.

Elly S.

Yelp
Tasty, crunch, and freshly made Korean style corndog! And Good location I'll come back to try other menu:)

Kaylie Y.

Yelp
The interior was well decorated and the bathrooms were very clean as well. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and quick to serve - overall a very enjoyable experience.

Mike C.

Yelp
Service was good and cool vibe. Cashier was helpful giving me the heads up that the Original cup-bokki was pretty spicy (and I still got it but acknowledge it was on the higher end of my typical spiciness range) and he also suggested hot cheeto corn dog (which was unexpectedly delicious). Finished it all off with a refreshing strawberry bubble tea.
