Love this place. We go every time we are in town. As usual the food was good but on this particular night the service was no up to their usual standard. The young lady behind the counter rolled her eyes when we walked in and was less courteous. I am chalking it up to she had a long day and it was getting close to the end of her shift.

Google
Let me start by saying, the service here is wonderful. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly and quick. I ordered online on their website and within about 5 minutes my order was ready. I enjoy the clean, welcoming decor of the place as well. The food choices are, of course, vast as this is a bowl-style restaurant. I loved the purple rice and the Bulgolgi beef is great too. Highly recommend!

Google
Order a classic chicken bowl and added a chicken cutlet which is an ad on extra and to my surprise I just got the chicken cutlet only not the cut up chicken which comes with the classic chicken bowl. For what you guys charge a complete product shouldn’t be hard to ask for!!!!!

Google
YUM! Came here because we wanted to try something new and this was an excellent fast casual option. The food was delicious but not necessarily the most authentic Korean food you’ll ever have. But it was fresh and tasty and I loved the beef. I had the classic bowl and it didn’t disappoint. I can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu. Great service too.

Google
Ordered online and the food was ready under estimate (they weren't busy either). Large portions and well-balanced with the toppings. Rice was nicely cooked and my 6 yr old loved the noodles with sesame miso sauce and fried chicken. 100% GF, fresh veg, good kimchi, reasonably priced. Would eat here again and looking forward to similar experiences at other locations.

Google
My food was delicious! I got a free bowl for teacher appreciation week today! First, thank you SO much for giving us teachers a free meal and second my meal was AMAZING. The purple rice is great and I love all the fresh flavorful toppings. I will definitely be back!

Google
Absolutely great gluten free food! I've never tried Korean food before and I can be a bit of a picky eater but I loved everything. I had the Classic and Seoul train bowl.

Jessica A.

Google
I stopped by for a second time today and it was just as good as the first! I've tried both the bulgolgi and the pork, and they both had GREAT flavor and were tender. The toppings are fun but not too Americanized. It's like an awesome Chipotle for Korean rice and salad bowls! The cashier told me the owner uses his grandma's recipes, and it really shows! This is definitely my new favorite lunch spot. Service was good as well!

Yelp
I love the herbivore bowl. Delicious, healthy, great price. The herbivore bowl, is as you might imagine, a vegan dish - and as a vegan customer, I believe any restaurant only needs to have one good vegan dish to keep me coming back repeatedly. You can also customize your bowls, but it's nice to have this one that is well thought out and easy to order. Location is convenient, picking up to-go food was easy and quick as well.

Yelp
Chipotle, what have you done? Chipotle + insert name of country = latest customize your bowl restaurant All kidding aside, the Chipotle concept is brilliant. Adding Korean cuisine = SeoulSpice. I ordered the Klassic bowl with purple rice. It included bulgogi beef, hot sauce, scallions, sesame oil, cucumbers, bean sprouts and carrots. It was fantastic -- warm, fresh, crunchy vegs, a little spicy, sweet and salty. Generous portion too. My friend enjoyed a Seoultrain which was similar to the Klassic but added sriracha, corn, kale, kimchi and cilantro. We love the concept -- you can customize with salad or noodles instead, or add or delete ingredients. My friend added a sweet soy soft boiled egg. Bright open space with plentiful seating. Prepared fresh in front of you, simple, delicious.

Yelp
This place wasn't too busy on a Thursday at 6pm. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was surprisingly good. Atmosphere was very chill and relaxing. Tables could have been more clean for it being almost empty but overall it was good and I would definitely come back.

Yelp
Delicious healthy Korean food. I stopped by for lunch today and great service. The staff were very pleasant, great environment. I ordered a SeoulTrain bowl combination , super tasty. I definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
SeoulSpice has great options for everyone. A lot of the time when out with friends in Tenlytown, when we can't decide on somewhere to go we go for Seoul Spice. With all the different variations and options you can almost never go wrong. I love the purple rice and get it every time in my bowls. Additionally the creamy Sriracha is the perfect balance of spice and creaminess for any protein combination. All in all, if you want a great spot to visit with friends. SeoulSpice is the way to go.

Yelp
I ordered carry-out from SeoulSpice and enjoyed it! My bowl was packed with food-- I definitely had leftovers-- and the flavors were all delicious and melded well together. I opted for a bowl with purple rice, greens, and chicken, and ordered almost every veggie topping (whoops). I also topped it with "the egg" which is a yolky (soft boiled?) marinated egg-- would reallllly recommend this to pack an umami flavor punch. I appreciate that their marinades are housemade, and they avoid using MSG. Guarantees like these make me more confident that my meal is fresh.

Yelp
Looking for Korean comfort food that's tasty, fresh, and filling? Look no further than SeoulSpice! This place is right down my alley! Being health-conscious and all, I'm giving them the utmost props for serving eats that are free of MSG, antibiotics, hormones, and additives. Love their concept of stuffing a bowl to the brim with carbs, proteins, and veggies. And, the best part is, you can create your own bowl! Usually my creation consists of purple rice, spicy pork, corn, Korean radish, bean sprouts, kale slaw, and kimchi (Korean cabbage) topped with creamy Sriracha. FYI: The kimchi is the truth! It adds the perfect heat. This stuff will literally open up your nasal passages! As for options, SeoulSpice caters to meat lovers, vegetarians, and vegans. On a gluten-free diet? They have you covered. Have a sweet tooth? No problem! Their sweet treats are provided by Rise Bakery. Drinks? Give the Yuzu-Lime Tea and Kale-Apple Juice a try. So refreshing! Have to mention the fab customer service. The team members are friendly and run this location like a well-oiled machine. No dilly-dallying here. Whenever I do takeout, I'm in and out in less than fifteen minutes flat. Verdict? Easily my favorite fast casual spot of 2021. What a marvelous addition to the Tenleytown neighborhood! Pro tip: Plenty of seating is available for dining in!

Ashleigh D.

Yelp
I highly recommend coming here. Kevin fixed my meal. It looks so amazing. This food is top-tier, very flavorful and they staff is so friendly. I came when the restaurant was about to close, yet they treated me with so much excitement and didn't want to rush my order. I'm definitely coming back!!!

Yelp
My roommate had been raving about this place since the second we moved into our apartment. He would get it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and always told me I needed to get it. Today was the day I finally did it... like half a year later. Overall, this place is solid. It's kind of like a Korean-style Chipotle. I definitely wouldn't call this authentic, but I'm sure they're not trying to be. This place is easily vegetarian/vegan! The bowl is definitely where you get your bang for your buck over the burrito. My roommate also said to not order the egg because it's an extra $2 for an egg that tastes normal? That being said, it wasn't at a bad price point for all the food I got. It definitely has 2-3 meals worth depending on how much you eat in one sitting. I got the bowl with purple rice, tofu ,cucumbers, corn, carrots, kimchi, kale slaw, ginger carrot dressing, and scallions, roasted sesame seeds, and crispy garlic for toppings. The purple rice was no extra charge and it just tasted like normal rice to me. I thought this place was good. It wasn't as great as I thought my roommate made it out to be, but I wasn't mad about it. I wouldn't order from here again, on my own probably, but if my roommate wanted to get some SeoulSpice in the future, I probably wouldn't object.

Yelp
KEVIN IS THE BEST. amazing energy after working the longest view ever!!! Positive soul and hard worker. Also the best food ever!

Yelp
The chicken is soooo good! Quick great service. I go here when I need something super filling and delicious.

Yelp
#ThankYouThursday to Seoul Spice for being one of my go-to fast casual picks for quick and guilt-free dinner for the family! Hearty and delicious Korean-inspired bowls are crave worthy and filling but don't make me feel unhealthy. The Signature Combinations are excellent (we often get the Klassic and Herbivore), but with several bases (rice, noodles, salad) and tons of ingredient options you have a lot to pick from. It's easy to order vegetarian and the kids menu is a great option for little ones. Customize a mini bowl for your picky little eater; no unimaginative chicken fingers and grilled cheese here! The portions are generous and I appreciate the recyclable bowls. I also love the easy online ordering and the curbside pick up option they started during the pandemic.

William S.

Yelp
I love this place. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere is great. Wonderful people and exceptional service from all the staff and managers. I will definitely go back for more Korean Food!

Katie H.

Yelp
Staff is so friendly, food always fresh and delicious. They make it so easy to grab a healthy, delicious lunch - the kind, efficient staff makes the experience so great! Definitely recommend.

Yelp
I got the spicy pork and white rice bowl. The combination of ingredients, vegetables, seasonings and sauces was fantastic. However, the temperature of the meat and rice weren't as hot as I would usually prefer. All in all a delicious combo.

Starr F.

Yelp
late night hero's: Manager Kevin, Andrea and Jose were so gracious to make two meals for my mother and I despite the closing time. Each time I dine here with family or friends, the experience has always been wonderful

Yelp
Let me start with I would give SeoulSpice 5 stars for the food, hands down. Last night, we went for the all you can eat brisket and Korean side experience. When we walked in, we were given hand sanitizer, and our temperature was checked. We pre-paid, and then were led over to the table where the grill was already hot and the sides (cucumber, pickled radish/cabbage, bean sprouts, kale), sauces and water present. We were immediately brought brisket and were able to start cooking right away. The quality of the food was amazing, the taste of everything delicious. I was particularly fond of the ginger carrot sauce. The reason I am giving it four stars is ordering more food was a pain. I had to type in my email address, name, and phone number every time I wanted to order something else. The server requested it go into the system every time. Also, I don't think the system was working perfectly because I had to reorder a few of the things since it didn't go through the first time. Overall, for the price it was a great experience. One suggestion? Have options for the type of meat you'd like to do as the all you can eat option, (the all you can eat option is only brisket). I'd gladly pay a few more bucks to do all you can eat bulgogi, or chicken!

Yelp
A fast-casual Korean-inspired chain where you can get a personalized dish or signature combos (similar to BIBIBOP, RiceBar, etc.) I ordered the Klassic and my friend ordered the Fireball. Klassic - bulgogi based. I really liked the bulgogi! I also chose the purple rice which is a well known type of rice , white rice mixed with a bit of black rice. Fireball - spicy pork based - pretty spicy (unless you're high spice tolerance). Even though it's marketed as the spiciest, it's not as spicy as Shin Ramyun, if you're familiar with that ramen brand! Great flavors though and I liked this more than the dish I ordered! Overall, I could tell SeoulSpice used really fresh ingredients, and pretty healthy at that. I thought the signature combos were really well done and made it complete with your carbs + meat + veggies. I thought the meats were well seasoned and the sauces complemented well. Personally I prefer the other chains but also it is pretty good and makes for a good spot to get some Korean flavors and get some good food at a casual sit down or take out.

Dan G.

Yelp
We've been fans of SeoulSpice for months. The food is consistently high quality with excellent and interesting ingredients. The Korean spices taste remarkably authentic for a fast food establishment. I'm not an expert on Korean food, but I've been to many top Korean restaurants in Annandale, so I'm speaking from at least some experience. The service is great, too, and the food is almost always ready within minutes of placing an online order. In short, SeoulSpice is a go-to choice when we need something quick, but last night (December 28, 2022 - Tenlyetown, in case the owners/managers are monitoring) the staff went above and beyond. There was a mistake in the order (totally MY fault), and without a blink, the staff helped me get things right, always smiling, and even suggesting some things I hadn't thought of. Well done, SeoulSpice! Keep it up.

Yelp
I love this place. This location is close to my office and it's a special treat when I go here for lunch. I typically get the Seoul Train with either beef or chicken. Even the salad bowl is good here! And I love rice! So when I saw that they were delivering meals and groceries everywhere in DC because of the COVID-19 fiasco, I was super excited! It's the "Bodega" option on their website. I ordered everything lol! I got bulgogi, garlic-ginger-soy chicken, purple rice, kimchi, whole cucumbers, a bag of kale, avocados, etc.! Even peeled garlic! What a great idea! I'm happy to help support one of my favorite quick lunch spots in keeping its staff employed. Every bit helps! Now let me go dig into this kimchi!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Dear SeoulSpice- I stopped by your place on a weekday for lunch. I opted to not build my own bowl and tried your Klassic with bulgogi and an avocado on top. Everything was cooked slash marinated just right; I was super surprised that the bulgogi was tender and actually tasted like bulgogi. I loved that the portions were hearty and generous. My fam had the Fireball with pork and an egg. I def got a taste. The egg was a semi-runny seasoned egg. Hello?! Why didn't anyone tell me that before?! It was AMazing and I will def be getting that next time with my order! I also enjoyed your Pressed Apple and Kale Juice (not overly sweet and actually tasted like Apple and Kale). The modern decor was a nice touch and the employees were nothing but friendly. Thank you for a delicious lunch! Sincerely, your loving customer, Cynthia L.

Yelp
Ordered the build your own salad (sangchu) through a delivery app after browsing through nearby options. I got chicken, corn, cucumbers, carrots, bean sprouts, kale slaw, scallions, and roasted sesame seeds. Was pleased that the salad base was finely chopped instead of huge hard-to-eat leaves! The gochujang and creamy sriracha sauces were a bit too watery but had nice flavor. Compared to Bibibop, I liked the chicken from here a lot better - less dry and more flavorful. One thing I'd recommend to management is to specify on delivery apps that the bean sprouts are raw, as it would've been good to know since I find raw bean sprouts unpleasant but am a fan of cooked bean sprouts.
google avatar

Nini J.

Yelp
Everything was indeed super fresh and they give you a lot! I also like the decor and service. However, compared to real bibimbap and also Seoul Spice's biggest competitor (bibibop), all of the flavors were just a bit watered down for my taste. Like even their "Korean red sauce" was literally watered down red sauce. And their bulgogi was just stir-fried meat. But I guess it's the best in "area". If you are on that side of town with no access to real flavors then it's pretty good.
google avatar

Katrina W.

Yelp
Came here with a few friends to try out their new KBBQ option. It's pretty cheap, but we didn't realize that they only provide one meat for AYCE. They don't really make this clear on their website. If you wanted to try other meats, you had to pay extra. The grill is also really tiny like a portable one so it takes a long time to cook any significant amount. The meat quality and banchan were not bad, but I probably wouldn't choose this place over other KBBQ places. I personally like what they traditionally serve at SeoulSpice better!
google avatar

Jacqueline D.

Yelp
I ordered delivery via Grubhub and will never do that again cause the driver was awful. I clearly stated to drop my food off at my hotel room door but instead I got a text that he "dropped off my food" and I texted back that it wasn't outside my door. He calls and says that he followed directions and that he's in front of the hotel with my food. Basically, he wasn't going to get out of his beat up car cause he's too lazy. Anyways, the food was so bland and I ordered bulgogi with purple rice and kimchi! Kimchi is usually pungent and spicy but it was only a little bit spicy. Perhaps, the food is better when you actually eat at the restaurant but definitely not for takeout or delivery. I've never had Korean food this bad and this bland.
google avatar

Sean M.

Yelp
SeoulSpice is another chain on the "make-it-yourself" formula. Interesting enough, they do more than one type of dish. The restaurant was bright and clean. The staff was friendly, energetic, and efficient, which is always a plus. I ordered the Purple Rice Bowl with Spicy Pork, Carrots, Korean Raddish, with the Korean Hot Sauce. The food definitely had a nice spicy kick to it wothout being overwhelming. The pork was savory and tender. An overall good meal to warm you up on a cold day. The meal isn't exceptionally filling though, so I'd recommend it for a light lunch if you go.
google avatar

Hannah C.

Yelp
Korean-inspired Chipotle, what's not to love? I got a purple rice bowl with beef, a bunch of veggies, and spicy sauce. The portion is substantial for $10 - my coworker always takes half of hers home! The beef was a little dry, but the sauce and veggies helped cover that up. I appreciated the clean layout explaining what everything was (no more "ummm... some of that green one to your left") and the recommended combinations for newbies. We'll probably be back for a quick and satisfying lunch.
google avatar

Yelp
My fiancee has the Fooda lunch app at his office with different rotating vendors each week. As I've looked at mouthwatering pics and read glowing reviews, I had him get me a veggie salad bowl with lettuce, tofu, kimichi, carrots, kale slaw, bean sprouts, cucumber, pickled radish topped off with creamy sriracha. It was delicious and bursting with flavor! It reminded me of a banh mi sandwich, but a salad bowl version. Very filling that put me in a delightful food coma afterwards. If I'm near NOMA, I would stop by the restaurant directly and get a bowl!

Yelp
This is actually a 3.5, not a 4 ;-) Have been driving past this place for a while and decided one Sunday morning to give it a try. The location: it is located right on Wisconsin ave next to District Taco. There is also a Whole Foods, Best Buy, and a few other places near by. Parking wise it is ok, not too difficult but also not in abundance. The Metro is also a few blocks away if you do not want to try to find parking. The restaurant: It looks pretty spacious and clean. However I did not dine in, so I cannot give you the dine-in experience. The Food: In Deanna fashion, I could not decide what to get, so I got two different items. You have the option to create your own rice bowl, korrito, taco, or salad, and then you can also choose from their signature combinations. I went for a rice bowl and a korrito. Now I normally create my own dishes when given the opportunity, lol, but this time, I stepped outside the box and ordered a signature combo. I had the Klassic with bulgogi (bowl) and the Kimchi Krunch w/chicken (Korrito). This is were the 3.5 stars come in. I was not a fan of the chicken. I also did not like the ginger carrot sauce that came with the Kimchi Krunch. It was a little oily to me and lacked flavor. I did, however, enjoy try other choice and would get again. Do I plan to go back? Yeah... I think I will try the bulgogi in a Korrito. As for the chicken and the ginger carrot sauce, definitely would not get again...

Yelp
I am a huge fan of bimbimbap. I was in the area with my friend and we were walking by and she told me this was a make your own bimbimbap. I knew I had to try it!! It felt like a Korean chipotle. You can chose your own base and then pick your meat. The meat was perfectly flavored like I like my Korean food. You could then pick different toppings like cucumber, kimchi, corn, pickled radish, etc. the last part was the sauce and I got the sriracha and spicy gochugan sauce. Such an amazing concept and on top of that the flavors are great!!! Can't wait to come back again!
google avatar

Ashwin V.

Yelp
This is an ideal place to get great Korean food in a fast food setting. There is enough seating to accommodate a large crowd. The two favorite Korean options of Bibimbap and Kimbap are perfect. Vegetarian options include a tofu based protein option. The condiments are amazing including daikons, pickled vegetables and garnishes. The carrot ginger sauce is a great topping on this. My only disappointment is that the Kim-bap was not cut into small rolls which made it a bit hard to eat. Other than that, no complaints at all. I will definitely come here again!
google avatar

Katherine L.

Yelp
Tasty and filling, gluten free Korean fast food. Umm- sounds perfect to me. The location in Tenleytown seems more vibrant and alive than in NoMa, and the taller ceilings make it feel more exciting and modern. I love the seating choices of tall bar stool height options by the window and traditional height seating at tables in the rest of the place. If you haven't been to SeoulSpice, it can be a bit confusing or overwhelming. It's like any fast casual place- decide if you want a bowl of rice or salad, or here, you can also go with 3 tacos or a seaweed wrapped size package of deliciousness. Choose a pre-made mix or pick your protein and be on your merry way. It's very satisfying, fresh and price savvy. It's also fast, perfect for busy people who don't want to sacrifice quality or flavor. The tacos and korredo can be messy, so you should anticipate utensils or picking up the filling that falls out of the tacos and korredos while you eat with your fingers. I don't have a favorite choice, but tacos are always a winner. They have purple rice and regular white rice. There's traditional protein choices and non-gmo local tofu that is quite fresh. The toppings except avocado are pretty much all you can add- corn, radish, cucumbers, kimchi, carrots, cilantro, scallions, roasted garlic, toasted sesame seeds, kale slaw (so much better than just lettuce!), and a dressing/ sauce of your choice. The carrot ginger is so good! They also have baked goods from Rise, some beverages, including house made juice (green!). All the veggies are all vegan, which is helpful for those who are worried about what might be in the ingredients. Love this addition to Tenleytown- it's easily my fav fast casual place in the area, if not in all of DC... so, yeah, I might be there again really soon....

Yelp
Congratulations to Eric, the owner, for the opening of his second location. I had the pleasure of stumbling upon the NoMa location last year on a whim of seeking comfort food. When I received the invitation for tonight's Yelp event there was no way I would miss out on this! Cheers to the ever so pleasant VP Danielle who went above and beyond to ensure the experience was nothing short of amazing! Let's get down to why you're reading this: Appetizers: Kimchi & tofu dumpling: Vegans and not so vegans rejoice, you don't realize there isn't any meat in this perfect bite sized appetizer--I didn't miss my usual taste for pork or chicken dumplings at all Spicy stew: Sweeter with spice that is a nice surprise that warms your throat but isn't overwhelming, on a scale of 1-10 on spice levels I would give it a 1. The soup itself is hearty and flavorful. The beef is soft and easy to chew, there was definitely some love put into this soup. Entree: Purple rice bowl, chicken and every topping sans cucumber. Her first time trying purple rice and as intimidating as it seems it tastes just like white rice. Only critique is that we were expecting a spicier taste for the creamy sriracha. (3) Tacos: tofu, chicken and pork. Wrapped in a corn tortilla I chose every topping with the ginger carrot sauce (love). Generous portions. The meat itself was so tender and flavorful it tastes like it's been braised for hours and the crunchiness of the toppings pairs well. If you have a more conservative pallet, this is a great introduction to Korean food. Chipotle style or you can choose some of their signature dishes. I am used to Korean food being spicy to the point of being on the verge of tears so I was taken aback. Definitely a good lunch spot especially if you're more health conscious majority of the menu is GF with vegan options. Service was super pleasant and friendly!

Yelp
I just had the unfortunate experience of having to write a very poor review for another Korean BibimBap place in my hometown of Toronto Canada just now. It reminded me to get come back and write a review for SeoulSpice. I fell upon this place completely by accident recently during a business trip to Washington. I was extremely happy to have found it though as it was very cool! Sure, it's pretty much a fast food place, but what you get is really good! I had the fast food version of a traditional BibimBap and was super impressed. I wish we had a SeoulSpice in Canada for me to visit more often. Now I would normally give this place a 3.5 but because it surprised me and exceeded my expectations, I just had to give it a 4. Congrats on the great concept and I wish you well in expanding the business!

David W.

Yelp
Staff didn't know what Kimchi was. Says it all. I ordered Bibimbap and staff stared at me helplessly until I specified that meant rice. Later down the line while building my bowl, had to point out where the kimchi was when the word didn't register. I know it's tough these days in the restaurant biz but learning what kimchi is really should be part of day 1 training at a Korean restaurant! Food tasted healthful, but bland. Too bad, I wanted to like this place.

Vincent G.

Yelp
The food is really good. The vegetables especially always seem so fresh. I love ordering from here for lunch. :)

Yelp
Update: I actually ate there the other day...and it was amazing! It also made me realize how petty my first review was (I was hangry, what can I say?) Anyways, as someone who lived in Korea for two years this place has my approval. It's definitely not standard bibimbop, but if you're willing to try a twist on the classic that is actually good then you should definitely give this place a chance. Also the decor is really nice- it's got a great vibe. p.s. I didn't take them up on the free food offer- but it was nice of them to offer. Look free food is a nice thing to do but if you run out of food by 4:55pm when you open at 11am maybe just say free lunch? Very annoyed.but I have had their food at other locations and it was great.

Yelp
stopped here on my girls trip to dc, and when I say it's amazing, it's absolutely heavenly!!! not only is the food super fresh and flavorful, but the staff and environment is super friendly. Absolutely in love and will be returning whenever possible!!

Yelp
This place has super delicious and flavorful food. There are so many options, for example, you can get a bowl or a Korean burrito and there are dozens of different topics and spices and you can chose your base as well. There's something for everyone and if you go to AU, they accept eagle bucks.

J T.

Yelp
Perfect overall experience, friendly staff, tasty bowls and spacious seating area. Brought the family here for weekend lunch and it was a quick and relaxing meal. Ordered my sauce on the side which was better for me because my bowl had plenty of flavor and I didn't end up using any of the sauce. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Went here today for the first time! I repeat my FIRST TIME. Never heard of this place before being fairly new to DC. I was going to Roaming Rooster next door when I saw it and decided to chance it. Everything went smoothly until I got to step 5 and asked for the chili powder on the side to the person serving me. With an attitude the cashier jumped in and said no, they can only put it on the food. The cashier could have been a manager (sadly) based on the demeanor of the person serving me, who looked at him as if to get permission. I ignored the attitude at first because I used to be a server at a restaurant in my past and can understand how dealing with customers can be. So in these spaces I'm typically polite and extend grace. The place wasn't busy so I asked the person serving me if I could taste it as I didn't want to add something that could completely alter the favor of the food. Once again, here came Mr attitude whom I wasn't speaking with directly chiming in. Then proceeded to sprinkle some on a plastic knife and hand it to me looking visibly perturbed. I was confused as to why he had an issue. I didn't have an attitude, I wasn't yelling, I wasn't rude at all. So I asked him if he was ok. He proceeded to complain about customers always asking to taste the chili powder. Now, as a first time customer, how would I know that? Also, what's wrong with someone asking to taste something? If a lot of people are asking, maybe that's an opportunity to have it on the side to solve for that issue or have samples ready. How about finding a way to solve an issue instead of having an attitude to patrons wanting to spend money at your establishment? Having an unnecessary attitude with customers especially in the hospitality industry is so damn! And arguing back at that, yeah he wasn't backing down. Lol Who do you think will lose in the end especially coming out of a pandemic where a lot of these restaurants are trying to get things back in track? At this point, I was like yeah definitely not spending my money here. For a brand I never heard of, it left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll never be back! Good luck to the business having that dude at the Wisconsin St location dealing with customers!

Yelp
The food is great but the customer service makes the entire experience horrible. There is a manager there that is too concerned with everyone else's conversations instead of just helping the customer that she is serving. The staff's rudest is no surprise when you have a manager like that. The food is good. Just sage and say a prayer before you go in, because this manager will have you testing your faith..

Yelp
This is one of our frequent take out spots. Everything is super fresh and they have the absolute best kimchi. The chicken is our fav protein and the sweet potato noodles are our go to base. The icing on the cake is that they are 100% gluten free. No worries for this celiac dad.

Yelp
A really cute Korean-inspired restaurant that's reminiscent of Chipotle. This was the first time my boyfriend and I had gone to SeoulSpice - the ladies at the line were helpful and guided us through. Very generous with portions. Calorie information was provided, and we were surprised at how full we were given the modest calorie intake. Decor was cute too!

Yelp
Pretty cool concept, as rice bowls are easy to make and customize as you choose. The staff was really helpful and friendly, but I found the food not super flavorful although perhaps that's because I got tofu on my bowl. Generous amount of avocado though!

Yelp
I ordered some groceries from here bc I saw they were doing free next day delivery! I was very impressed by the prices, selection, & customer service upon delivery. I got some fresh produce, tortillas, sushi rice, braised tofu & paper towels. I'm looking forward to ordering again, it was such a pleasant experience!

Yelp
Ordered food from here and wow, I am very DISAPPOINTED!! We ordered a rice bowl with pork that crumbles apart and tasted like jerky. And the salad... if you can even call it that, was all liquid. The salad bowl had no LETTUCE...sauce was all mixed in (specifically asked for sauce on the side), and why was there so much liquid!!!! I was disgusted and obviously could not eat this. All the toppings were absolutely disgusting. Next time, I'll just stick with bibimix in Arlington.

Yelp
We love this restaurant. The 4 instead of 5 stars relates to recent deliveries that have gotten very sloppy. We have ordered online following the menu recommendations. And paying for extras that we do not get. We ordered the same dish, yet they had different ingredients, which was disappointing. I know this has mire to do with the individual assembling the order than the restaurant altogether. But please tell your staff to read orders carefully. We rarely order delivery during pandemic due to expense. But we want to support our favorite restaurants. So please give your staff a talking to about accuracy. Thx

Yelp
I actually came to SeoulSpice as a last resort . I had gone to Muncheez, but found it to be a more expensive, less filling version of Cava. I crossed the street to Olive Bistro, but it was a little expensive and had very few vegetarian options. I chose Seoul Spice last because I don't have much experience with Korean food. Nevertheless, I was willing to try something new. I'm glad I did. Seoul spice is super cool. The first thing that caught my attention, was the sign on the door offering discounts to teachers (That's me!) on Tuesdays. As I prepared to make my order, the woman behind the line saw the confusion in my face. She helped explain all of my options to me and let me try a few sauces. I ordered a rice bowl with purple rice, yes purple. Apparently it's a nutritious mix of white and black rice (which I did not know existed) that's more nutritious. I topped that with tofu, which taste like it's been marinated in a sweet teriyaki sauce, then grilled. Next I added fresh kale salad, refreshing cucumber chunks, crunchy pickled radish, and of course classic spicy Kimchi. I sprinkled chopped cilantro for aroma, scallions for bite and crispy garlic ... because adding garlic is always a good idea. Lastly, I dressed the bowl with creamy sriracha and ginger-carrot sauce . My teacher discount helped me to get a free drink ! Finding a seat is easy, especially at 2 pm on a Tuesday. The restaurant is furnished with modern black and red wooden furniture, good for accommodating groups or if you want to eat alone. The light fixtures are trendy and it gives the space a very light and open feel. When I finally bit into my food I was so happy. It was sweet, tangy, spicy- a mouthful of flavors. I finished it almost tragically fast. I don't see any forks anywhere, but the chopsticks couldn't slow me down. I'll definitely be back !

Yelp
Come for the bowl, forgo the Nutella brownie. 5 stars for the Delicious Bowls. 2 starts for the Rise brownies: For $4.50 I'd expect a whole brownie, not a 1/4 brownie.
