Absolutely fantastic. For lunch was offered choice of chicken or fish main and four different deserts. I chose the roast chicken cooked and seasoned perfectly (skin on) with soft carrots on a bed of pumpkin mash, topped with fennel and a single fried wing, which was the best fried chicken I've ever had.
For desert I chose the sorbet, chocolate ice cream and fresh mangos topped with fresh cream, wafers, and some herb I was unfamiliar with.
Service was fantastic. The place is small and the wait staff quickly took care of all the diners' needs. The included sparkling water that they have a fancy machine producing is a much appreciated touch.
From what I've read, Robin's started out as a desert spot and has expanded to full service. I really like that they focus on only a few dishes that are inventive and rely heavily on what's available in the market. A must stop if you're a foodie visiting Nantes.
