San Diego’s Best Filipino Restaurants - Eater San Diego

"The name means “beer” in Tagalog and you’ll find popular Filipino accompaniments at this spots inside National City’s new food hall Market on 8th. Owned and operated by Khris Astudillo, the food stall serves chicken adobo, rib eye bistek, and fried chicken based on his family’s restaurant. There are also specials throughout the week that could include longanisa sliders, garlic butter shrimp, and pancit palabok." - Darlene Horn, Paolo Bicchieri

I have still yet to have a single dish I haven’t enjoyed here. Their fried chicken is dark meat brined in calamansi juice before a clean fry, great balance in texture and flavor. I think the sisig is probably the best in the city, but any Filipino comfort dish will hit the spot. Try the Palabok fries!

Google
Finally got to try this place for the first time. I tried their house fried chicken (only served on Mondays) and their pork lumpia. I was definitely stoked by the food. The fried chicken was killer and had some great flavor. The lumpia was solid too, but thicker than I'm used to. It was super fresh so I burnt my tongue a bit lol. I was a little bummed because they didn't have any surf and turf lumpia at the time, but I'll just have to go back and try it.

Amabelle Dela Cruz

Google
This place is the spot for filipino food in National City. I stop here every time I'm in town to visit my Mom. The sisig is my favorite and is perfectly crispy. Their palabok is amazing and better than I've had ANYWHERE. Please don't get caught up in the "I can make this at home" or "my mom makes this" because this place is really giving Filipino food a great reputation and this place is the best thing to eat in that whole Market on 8th. They also make Tiger Muffins for breakfast. IYKYK.

Morgan Thornberry

Google
Was hungry as hell, ordered the chicken adobo for $15, but it was so unpleasant that I had one bite, closed the box, and went to a different restaurant. The adobo was really heavy on the soy sauce and very light on vinegar or any anything else, like bay leaf, onion, or achuete. The chicken was skinless, and chopped or pulled in pieces to make a pile of brown chunks, so it was also aesthetically unpleasant.

Azalea E

Google
You may want to come early if you want to try their palabok - I went at dinner time and people beat me to it. I ordered the sisig based on staff recommendation and it was flavorful with just the right amount of tartness. Will def come back!

Ken P

Google
Ordered a catering tray from them for a Christmas party. It was a hit! They have a great variety of options, and don't forget to try the Longonisa Muffin if you have a chance. You won't regret it.

Google
We were lucky enough to contact Serbesa about getting Lumpia for our late night snack for our wedding. The food was phenomenal, the delivery was prompt, and our friends have been raving about the Lumpia ever since they tried it. We’ve had more than one out of town guest tell us that they cannot wait to go to Serbesa the next time they’re in San Diego.

Mike Craig

Google
Solid poncit. The lumpia is also great. The classic (moms recipe) is good but the surf/turf version is next level.

Yelp
Sushi National in Market on 8th is bomb! Jesus and Manny both have excellent customer service - Made great rolls and made me laugh. Happy to have sushi right next to home! ** bf and I killed 6 rolls and the stuffed pepper appetizer.

Yelp
Parking is tough since this is in National City, so I highly suggest coming here early to secure a spot. This food hall had a decent selection of cuisines, but some were overlapping. There's a Mexican brunch place that's attached, a small curiosities shop inside, and a bar. Aside from that, you have a selection of Mexican, Japanese, American, Thai, and Italian. Prices are what you typically would expect at a food hall, but I don't think the quality of the food justified the inflated prices. The group I went with each chose a different place to eat and we weren't exactly satisfied. Overall, it was fun to try out. I love that it's local and brings local eateries to a central place, but the quality of food needs to improve to justify me coming back and spending more than the food is worth.

Yelp
Parking is really hard to find during lunch/dinner hours. Please take your time to find parking. I had to park 2 blocks down. The yelp page showed a few restaurants that no longer exist. There was 1 bar, 1 thai, 1 japanese, 1 sushi, 1 pizza, 1 filipino, and the rest were competing mexican restaurants. The lack of variety here was not worth the struggle to find parking. If I didn't find parking, I would have eaten somewhere else.
google avatar

Lina P.

Yelp
I like how this is small so not as crowded and parking is fairly easy. However, since I've last been here, some of the restaurants have left and new ones have been replaced. Which is fine but I believe there are like 4 taco/mexican restaurants there. So it's not that much variety IMO, just different companies. But still it's a nice spot. Plenty of lounge areas!

Yelp
Fantastic variety of foods by local businesses in a really cool environment. Great for gross of friends, family hang, or solo gnoshing. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Found parking to be easy, plenty of seats when we went on a Saturday night, clean and staff are friendly. Food was so good. I tried the bone marrow tacos, fish tacos, oysters, thai papaya, milk tea, sushi and beer! Plenty of options. The kids loved the arcade games & couch area. Very kid friendly. The bar was definitely needed & have great beer on tap. Recommend this place. Ambience is very chill.

Yelp
First time at this place. I ended up in National City by pure coincidence. Loved the design and space. I dead they do events at night and some bazaars certain Sundays. I thought the place was brand new as I saw it was not full. However I later read that it has been running for some years now but there are still not all spots covered. I like the idea of this type of markets but some like the mixed combined smells overall. I would like to try again when there are more people at a different time and see if the vibe is more full of life. I was able to find free parking easily.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this market! So many food options, I tried a little bit of everything but I specifically loved Sushi National. The rolls were delicious and they had excellent customer service ((: super attentive, kind, and generous. 100% will be coming back, I think I found my new sushi place!
google avatar

Yelp
Market on 8th is a great market, chill vibe, so much variety from Smoothies and boba to Tacos and sushi! One of my favorite places to be, and everyone is so kind and nice, and the service is great :)

Yelp
A great food hall in the heart of National City with a variety of food stalls and plenty of seating and even a beer bar. I've tried most of the vendors here and I've had good experiences at all of them and the food has been tasty at each one. They have some unique vendors that you can't find elsewhere in the San Diego area too and there are currently several empty stalls but I found out that they are being filled up soon. My current favorites here are Butcher's Plate and Cafe Indo. There is a food stall for everyone here and and it's pretty busy and lively on the weekends and a bit more casual and relaxed on the weekdays. If you are near National City, I recommend coming here to try the various food vendors here or if you want to hangout with friends or even study/do work.

Yelp
Just as an FYI I am not indonesian so I can't say if this was legit good or just tasty to me because I like asian food. From what I heard indonesian food is far and few in SD so this was an exciting find. I got the sate babi plate which is the grilled pork skewers with peanut sauce and kecap manis. My friends got the beef rendang plate. We all thought the food was delish and one of them was indo-chinese and said that it tasted close to what they grew up eating which is a good sign! The meal came with some rice, a couple of crackers, pickled cucumbers, and a boiled egg with some type of coconut curry sauce. This stand was located in a small building with other stands with cuisines, kind of reminded me of liberty public market in point loma but smaller and more homey. There were plenty of seats to eat at and even a small bar area. Unfortunately, after we were done eating I went back to the stand to get another plate to go for a friend but they had run out of some of the sides they include with their plates so they were going to close early so just FYI that may happen closer to closing time! We came on a Saturday for dinner and found parking just find on the street.

Yelp
LOVE Donburi Rice bowls!! Service was friendly and patient. Though the place does get crowded, there IS outdoor seating away from the big crowd. These Rice Bowls are so good!!!
google avatar

Isabella R.

Yelp
I checked out there seafood stand and had two of their fish tacos. And they were probably the biggest fish tacos I've had. They were pretty good. There was a sign that said each taco is served with a side of chips but there were literally only 6 tortilla chips but on the side of the plate and they were stale. I probably should've only ordered one taco and then tried a taco or food from somewhere else.

Melody P.

Yelp
Everything I've eaten here is amazing! It's like each proprietor takes Busch pride in their cuisine. Today we had Thai, tacos, and seafood. Each was just as delicious as the other.
google avatar

Lola Z.

Yelp
Impressed! Tried the Yakiniku beef bowl and curry fries at Donburi. Both came piping hot and so delicious. The bowl had an enormous amount of beef and good ratio to the rice and veggies. The fries were good, too. Friendly service. Lots of seating options. Street parking. Can't wait to go back to try the other places.
google avatar

Yelp
I love the remodel and new vendors. I tried the pork belly from Carnitas Quiroga and it was 10 out 10 it was on the pricey side but it was really good. The service was good I got a free taco of carnitas while I waited. Definitely coming back to try the other new vendors.
google avatar

Jaime S.

Yelp
This may be a premature review. A lot of places weren't open when I went and it appears that they are still filling spaces with restaurants. That being said, the concept seems great and what I did try was delicious. The Kalbi Short Ribs Plate from Donburi Rice Bowls was phenomenal, very flavorful and filling. The milk tea is also delicious and not too sweet. I wasn't a fan of the macaroons from MNGO or the mango sticky. Overall, the service I received was great and the seating was comfortable. I would recommend this spot and I will be returning in a few months to check out the other restaurants inside.
google avatar

Yelp
I have been coming often for the last 2 years. The newest remodel and restaurants are soon good!

Yelp
There is one question that has one place in common and the many things you can see and the many foods you can see and smell? what place has the many countries of the world and the many places of the United States rolled into one showcasing the many tastes? The many places I like to see and explore for the many great things that have the best prices and the best service. There are many times when you have days to go and find the creative yet historical there was one place that has the colors of a modern restaurant center and the dining area of the large outdoor restaurants of Old Town. This location of the main building was located on the main street of 8th street which runs up and down from the 8th street trolley and transit center you can see the many buses that pass by the location. When I had first come to the Public Marketplace it was like walking into a stadium lunch and drinks venue there were many of the eateries that were closed, I was looking for the many eateries to open it was mid-day and the lunch crowds would be coming in for lunch. I looked over the many areas and saw the IPA bar and the many beers they served seeing it was from a local brewery all of the fresh beers perfect to go with beef dishes yet there was one place I had come to before was the Mexican Restaurant having tried the one restaurant, they had the best in fresh Mexican food which is the best that I have come across. With the many places I have been to the Public Marketplace has a great feel to the insides and with a wide selection of food of food there are some their which has a history with the State of California and the states they are from. The general overview of the Public Marketplace is going to be one the best and yet with the food and the restaurant eateries it needs to have ones that will be open to the public. The public Marketplace is one place with a great IPA bar area you can have the best in local breweries along with some of the best food dishes making a great meal or a great dinner. As a Yelp Elite Reviewer the Public Marketplace has some of the best food yet with the masny eateries some that are not open yet some place signs saying out to eat. A Public Marketplace needs to have the many restaurants and to show the attractyion of food and the attmosphere to make a great place having the best in holidays and the foods they serve.

Yelp
Pad Thai from Ping Yang was super lovely and delicious, even a few hours after I took it home to eat the rest! Came with all the appropriate authentic toppings, super good. Pork belly and rice from there was amazing as well with a super yummy sauce. The taco place across from it (forgive me I cannot remember its name) was also extremely good, and the lady at the counter was kind enough to give us each a sample taco. Top tier tortillas and meat, guacamole was amazing, basically the epitome of proper Mexican food in my opinion, plus they had a ton of options. There was a lot of comfortable seating including a huge couch, and a nice breeze was coming through the building.

Yelp
It's a fun dood cart like establishment. You can eat sea food, tacos, hangout at the bar or eat noodles. It's a fun place to hangout.

Yelp
Market on 8th Street has a great vibe that feels distinctly National City. The selection of food vendors is impressive, offering a range of options to explore. My wife and I tried the Donburi Rice Bowls, which didn't disappoint--the portion had a generous amount of tender meat, paired with high-quality rice and fresh vegetables. The setting was welcoming, with a food court that offers a nice view of the heart of National City. We'll definitely be back to try more!

Margarita S.

Yelp
Tried the tacos at Carnitas Quiroga and it was soooo good!! While we were waiting the nice cashier lady gave us each a complimentary taco! Then we had the carnitas and asada tacos. Super bomb! Totally recommend. Will go back Tuesday to try the taco Tuesday special :)

Yelp
This is the spot! There are about 9-12 different culinary dining options here. Filipino, BBQ, Ramen, Mexican, Indonesian, Chinese, Pizza, Poke, and Brazilian, to name a few. There is also a cool Bubble Tea place. Next door is Niederfrank's legendary ice cream. We came and enjoyed Salmon Poke, Baked Potato Pizza, and Pancit Bihon topped with Chicken Adobo. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! This place is the best food hall south of the 94 Freeway! Thanks!!!

Yelp
This food hall is a lit! It's a group of young chefs and small businesses who all have one thing in common: a passion for food! On Mondays and Tuesdays, I like to order food from Socheat (Angkorian Pikestaff). She's an energetic and loving Cambodian chef. She makes the best Cambodian-Asian meals. Her menu changes regularly, and she has a large fan base. I recommend arriving early before she sells out or following her on Instagram. Everything she makes is amazing, but my favorites are her vegan alternatives and garlic noodles. Pizza Kaiju is another popular spot. My aunt warmed up leftovers from her fridge the first time I tried it. It was so bomb that I had to come back and try it again. Jojean at Kaiju is extremely friendly and will provide you with the greatest options. The sisig and loaded potato pizza is my personal favorite here. I've also had Serbesa Filipino kitchen on every visit. Their lumpia and lechon kiwali are both fire. I requested sawsawwan with the crispy pork, and the guys were gracious enough to make it. This is why I will always support them and want to order more from them. Don't miss out on their cassava cake! Try it!

Catherine S.

Yelp
Marcella's pizza was amazing. This is the second time trying it within a week. A pizza that doesn't make you feel too full. I would definitely recommend! Grab a pizza and a beer and you are set!

Yelp
This was the spot chosen for a work lunch outing and it was not what i was expecting.(Not a bad thing) There is open seating and several food spots for you to pick from so you have options. I settled on Hawaiian food since I was craving Mac salad. The two chicken options brought their own flavor and the portions were perfectly balanced with the scoops of rice. I think we will be back so I look forward to trying new options.
google avatar

Armida P.

Yelp
I was picking up an order for Uber eats and considered buying food here for myself because I thought I was a nice vibe for a food court until I saw a cockroach and killed it in which killed my vibe and appetite
google avatar

Alex H.

Yelp
A food court with great variety of cuisines ranging from Hawaiian to Japanese to Indonesian! I've only tried the Donburi rice bowls and EWA 88 poke, both of which were delicious! Would recommend this place for a chill lunch with family and friends!
google avatar

Yelp
Market on 8th is a nice food hall. I easily found parking around 11am. I included a picture of the hours for each business because we almost went at 10 and would've been disappointed to find almost all the kitchens closed. I went to cafe Indonesia because when it said "langonisa patty", I had to try it. The burger was very delicious. Normally I like a lot of vegetables in my burger, but honestly, this was so good it surprised me. When you hit the pickle, oh my goodness, it's perfect! I would say adding the option for grilled mushrooms would make it even better, but to be honest, it was good without it too. The seasoned fries were kind of mid for me. They were fresh, with the seasoning shook on top but it wasn't a wow factor like the burger. I def would come back though, because I saw some skewers that came out of their kitchen that looked pretty tasty too. The limeades were really good. I'm a sucker for kalamansi juice, so I already knew this would taste good.
google avatar

Yelp
I love a good hall!!! We tried four of the places and they were all so good! Bought some art, had some beer during the tap takeover with a DJ! Such a fun spot!
google avatar

Dung N.

Yelp
We stopped by Market on 8th after having poke nearby. Parking was fairly easy to find and we checked out each of the restaurants to see if anything caught our eye. I wanted something sweet, so I got a smoothie from MNGO. It was really sweet though. My friends opted for some alcoholic beverages at Nova instead. They got the peach passion and grapefruit kombucha, beer, and also a slice of cake! Their is a patio where we enjoyed each other's company as well as live music! I think this place has potential and I would love to try some food next time I'm in the area!
google avatar

Michelle F.

Yelp
Busy, Busy, Busy. Don't go to the market unless you have energy Visited on a Sunday afternoon the place was packed. Families sitting eating, walking around and people ordering food. A little overwhelming. Stimulation over load. Music, lots of colors, vibrant, lots of smells and sounds. Given the food was 85% new to me I definitely needed a minute or more to take it all in. Another five mins to appreciate where I was. After exploring all options we decided on Filipino and Indonesian food. Visited: Serbesa: had the Pancit palabok. Delicious. At first was not a fan of the smell-- it was delicious once I tasted it and that crunch! Yum! Cafe Indonesia: had the Sate Ayam, chicken skewers, with cucumber salad & crunchy puffy things. Not my favorite dish. Moe Coffee: Iced coffee and latte Nova Beer: Pilsner & Lager The market is awesome! Overall great.

Johnna G.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Sunday for dinner and was pretty bummed to see so many vacant spots. Last time I came it was full of spots and had so much variety. Now there are much fewer options and a lot of them serve very similar food. They have ample seating and it's set up in a way that could be very enjoyable, but it would be more appealing if there were more choices. Everyone that was open was friendly and we will likely try again. Hopefully they can get some more variety in there.
google avatar

Gabrielle S.

Yelp
Love this spot. The wings with the Serrano ranch, the pizza, Pancit spot ... I went back recently and only 3 spots were only open. This did not include the 3 locations I had listed. I miss it. Bring it back soon!

Yelp
A much smaller version of Liberty Stations open eatery style setting. Located in National City off of 8th St. Parking can be scarce and only street parking available. A variety of eateries to choose from. Pizza, ramen, poke, po boys, beer vendor, etc. They have indoor and outdoor seating. This time of year, it feels like everything is outdoor seating as it is an open walled space with a lot of air flow indoors. SO, BUNDLE UP! We had the shrimp and catfish po boy with fries. Let me first start off by mentioning, I have NEVER had a loaf of bread as soft as I did when I ordered my catfish po boy! I was surprised how well it held everything inside for as soft as the bread was! It was delish!! My son ordered the Pork Katsu with curry from another vendor, and it was AMAZING! We will definitely be back to try more vendors!
google avatar

Mikey H.

Yelp
What a great little place! Sure, it's not as big as say Liberty Station, however, for it's size, there's a good variety of places to choose from...and I plan on eating my way through. One of my friends lives down this way and suggested we meet here for lunch. Parking can be a bit of a challenge since the spots closest to are 30 minute only. But along Market, there are some 2 hour spots. I really couldn't decide where I wanted to eat. I was going to have Filipino food, but when I was looking at the menu, no one even said hello, so NEXT! My friends got a poke bowl, so I went there. I didn't get a chance to see the back patio, and we sat in the main dining room. What I love about this place is that the customers are all different ethnicities instead of the pasty white weird folks you see at Liberty Station...LOL! Everyone seemed down to earth which is a nice change. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Market On 8th is an awesome food hall that we recently stumbled upon while looking for somewhere to eat in National City! Plenty of unique businesses housed within the space that's inviting and spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating. A few of the businesses were already closed up for the day when we came thru for dinner, but the ones that were open, there were plenty of options on their respective menus that sounded delicious! My partner ordered from Ping Yang Thai Skewers, getting the vegan gyoza and fresh spring rolls with tofu; and I ordered from Ewa88: Poke, an island-style mix bowl. My partner's order came out within ten minutes, and the girl who took our order was nice and made sure we had everything we needed, and even offered extra sauce if we wanted it. The gyoza was crispy and covered with sauces, and the spring rolls were bigger than anticipated with a tasty peanut sauce. My poke was some of the best that I've had in San Diego so far! I ordered an island-style mix bowl with salmon (California style). The rice was perfectly cooked, the fish was fresh, and the California style mix was simple but had great flavors that highlighted the fish with the fresh ingredients. Not only was the food good, but the customer service was good as well! The guy working was very personable and we had a chill conversation while he was building my bowl. We had a great dinner experience here and are very eager to come back and check out more businesses next time!

Yelp
Wanted poke last week and gone the other place was closed so I came here... I'm GLAD I DID!! Found a new poke place and market that was actually really GOOD!!! Told lady first time here so she suggested something and im Gonna call it Great service! Didn't take pix as I was HUNGRY but the Poke bowl I got was GOOD! Which definitely gives me a reason to come back and try their other fish. They have restaurant seating and atmosphere is pretty good. Overall well rounded spot!

Yelp
Food: Since their opening, we have wanted to try the food offered and check out the atmosphere here, as we have had great experiences with other food halls such as Rodeo 39 and Sky Deck. Unfortunately, this place fell short of those other halls. Nonetheless, a good place to stop by for food only if you're in the area already. The hard kombucha was great for light drinking. The Cajun-style fish and chips were a little under seasoned and used store bought sauces, but decently priced. There are many other options, from Filipino to Thai to Indonesian to Japanese to Mexican to pizza with unique toppings. Service: As we walked around to decide where to order, we see minimal lines and many smiling faces. However, with the workers, they didn't seem much welcoming. With the exception of the woman at Nova. So we started there and ordered two flights. She was nice and helpful! We then opted for fish and chips because it was finger food and snack size for two people to share. The two workers there were all business; take your order and serve types. Ambiance: The place felt like one where people have a quick bite and then bounce. We've been to other food halls that were more lively, both from the customer and worker views. There ample space indoor and outdoor, with tables and even a sofa and benches. Family-friendly, a place to go when everyone is craving different genres of food.

Doug J.

Yelp
It's funny that I heard about Market on 8th on Tik Tok several times. I saw another one this morning and we decided to go there. We are glad we did. Our food was great! The setting, vibe, and music were great. It was a Sunday and it was busy but there was enough seating. We will be back.

Yelp
This is such a nice local spot. They have a variety of restaurants. Mostly Filipino food influenced. They have a lot more restaurants that I didn't take pics of. Only because I didn't actually order from them. So I will review the places I actually ate from. But there's a really cool pizza spot (they had a sisig pizza I wanted to try but I didn't get to this visit), MNGO (must have mango desserts) a ramen spot, coffee shop, a bbq spot, taco spot and a Japanese influenced spot. Chori Burger from Cafe Indonesia 10/10 Super flavorful, the longanisa patty just marries with the sauce and the patties are juicy. Fries are kinda like potato corner fries. You can pick from garlic or sour cream and onion flavors. I would love to come back and try more stuff. Phad see ew from Ping Yang 2/10 This is my favorite Thai noodle dish so I was super excited to try it, but this one however was very bland. Had no taste at all. I was pretty disappointed considering it was around $16. I felt like I needed to add my own soy sauce and seasoning. Waste of money. Poke nachos from Pacific Poke Co. 6/10 This was ok, I've definitely had better. I was chasing the poke nachos from yard house. This was nothing close. But over all it wasn't bad. It was still good. They should definitely do more with their recipe. The portion was ok.
google avatar

Kim R.

Yelp
Nice place to come grab food with a group with multiple options to choose from. Open concept area with outdoor seating. Lots of area to lounge, eat and drink. I ordered from MNGO my favorite mango and coconut cream drink. Service was good and the order came out pretty quickly. Ping yang is where I got my food the chicken wings were good. The crab Rangoons was not what I expected I didn't notice any crab in it and it was a bit over cooked. Pricing is a normal San Diego pricing. Prob will be back to check out the other food spots and grab a drink At novo. Street parking

Yelp
Newly remodeled // Pizza spot fire new bar with plenty of beers . New options way better

Yelp
Market on 8th is a great food hall, packing lots of flavor in a small warehouse footprint! Strong presence for Asian flavors, ranging from traditional flavors like Serbesa's Filipino rice plates and Ping Yang's Thai noodle dishes - to creative choices, like Kaiju's fusion pizzas (sisig pizza!) and Weapon's daring ramen menu (chicken sopas ramen!). Moreover, there's shopping, BBQ, tacos, coffee - something for everyone with every mood. Upon arrival, there's plenty of nearby street parking! As for a spot to sit after ordering food? They do their best to maximize seating options between vendors, but on busy days it can get crowded in the main seating area by Novo and Grounds. Before visiting for dinner, I advise checking the kitchen hours, not just building hours; only Novo Brazil Brewing is open through building hours, while other shops vary. I made the mistake of assuming restaurants were open until 10P, and tried to drop in for a late dinner. Luckily, Donburi was still serving, and I didn't have to find food elsewhere that night. This relaxed food hall is a South County destination! If you're craving a variety of cuisines under one roof, consider Market on 8th!

Yelp
Super cute place! It definitely reminds me of the Liberty Station market! I loved that there was a combination of different types of foods and merchandise for purchase! I came in on a whim with one of my girlfriends! We stopped by for lunch and Weapon Ramen stood out the most! We walked around a bit after placing our order. It's nice since they give you a little buzzer so you can roam free. If I wasn't so full, I would have definitely wanted to try more. There is plenty of open space to sit at, work or just hang out! Definitely a cool spot and a convenient to get too. I'm glad National City is getting some new gems in town! Definitely drop by!

Yelp
This place is a nice spot to chill and enjoy your food. Love the ambiance and concept. But we usually end up getting food from other restaurants around the area because you never know what's going to be open, what's available, and that inconsistency with the businesses here is really off putting. Most of the eateries here are really good, but expensive, and that's if you even get to try them. You're waiting long wait times for your food, and that's if you catch them at a time when they are open. Despite the advertised hours, half the places are closed when advertised as open. Often times the businesses are also out of a lot of items as well, another issue that's really off putting. This place, in theory would be so great but there are a lot of factors that contribute to it being a spot I wouldn't generally recommend.

Yelp
I was a little underwhelmed by my experience at this food hall. After circling the block a couple times to find parking, I managed to find the entrance and walked around to look at the different stalls. Many of the restaurants had already closed despite it being only 7:30pm on a Friday night. There were quite a few people in the bar area by Novo, however, so I can see that being an attraction if you want somewhere chill to grab a beer with friends. I couldn't really find any food options that caught my eye so I left without purchasing anything.
