The pizza was solid—definitely a good Neapolitan-style, but a bit smaller than I expected for the price. The flavours were nice, though I was hoping for a bit more complexity or punch to really stand out. As for the drinks, the regular sodas like Coke are served on draft and come with a lot of ice, so it ended up tasting like slightly fizzy flavored water. Service-wise, the staff was very friendly, but the seating experience was frustrating. We were a party of five and waited about an hour to be seated. The host wouldn’t seat us at any of the available four-tops, even though it seemed like a simple fix to add a chair or combine a small table. We were originally told it would be a 30-minute wait, but when it doubled, we had to push for a solution. And they kept seating later coming smaller groups, instead of combining 2 tables. Eventually, they sat us at a high-top that had been empty the whole time. Parking is available in a lot behind the restaurant, but it was full when we arrived. I had to park on the street nearby, which wasn’t too bad, and free when I was there. There are also parking lots in the area if needed.

Google
Definitely a great spot to get some true Italian pizza, embracing the Napoli way. A family atmosphere that boasts a family style dinner. The pizzas are cooked in their wood fired brick ovens. Fresh and simple ingredients give the food the best results. During peak times, there will be a wait but it's worth it. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Man, this place would be really good if they would put the slightest effort into the service. The pizzas I've tried have an appropriately soft, chewy crust and the arancini is the standout appetizer. Desserts are tasty as well, especially the bombolini and Tiramisu (although they don't give you enough Nutella with the bombolini). It's not exceptional but definitely good. But my God is the service atrocious. There's one extremely overwhelmed waiter for a large number of tables. Need more napkins? Go and grab some yourself because no one is coming to help you, even if you ask. Heck, the waiter actually saw us doing that and when I mentioned it she said "Yeah, I saw that". Everyone is so miserable they can't even pretend to care. Despite the solid food I won't be coming back. There are other places in LA that make Neapolitan style pizzas with better service to match.

My wife was craving some pizza like she had when we were in Rome. She saw this place online, and we drove out to give it a try. Good choice. The drinks were on point, the meat and cheese plate was delicious, and the pizzas were molto bene! The cheese, the sauce, the meats, all were fresh and delicious. Something a little different on everything, like pine nuts on thebSettebello pizza. It made it their own. And they did a good job with the decoration and design. A good spot for a date or for the family, go enjoy Settebellos 👍🏼

Came here on a Monday night and it is crowded. Great decor, great bar and great atmosphere. Ordered Carbonara pizza and arancini. The pizza is pretty dry and hard, not as soft as you would expect from authentic Neapolitan pizza that is with fluffy and airy crust. Probably due to low oven temp and long cooking time and pizza dough hydration. Do not recommend. Arancini is a bit under-seasoned, but still very enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great place, it’s just that the pizza is a bit disappointing.

Service and atmosphere were excellent. Pizza 🍕 has a good taste, but crust was a little soggy.

This location is new but the restaurant is not. One of my favorite pizza places in Pasadena. The margherita DOC (which stands for controlled designation of origin) is really authentic and delicious. Good wine too. A great date night but also family friendly.

Yelp
The pizza was fair not what I expected. The restaurant had a nice vibe. This order was for 3 pizza's. Pickup. Parking is very bad! Service was great for pick up!

Yelp
Great pizza but low on the meat... would def come back Service was great overall, friendly staff and brought food out in order we asked. Nice clean restaurant. Was walking distance for me which is another plus

Yelp
Restaurant relocated, serving fresh pizzas with delicious signature dough and premium ingredients. The deep fried risotto balls were a great starter. The atmosphere is very comfortable but trendy with a full bar. The service was prompt and excellent, with welcoming team members despite coming in at the last hour. I didn't get to try their drinks, but they seem to have a great selection including craft beer in draft. The pizza itself was gourmet and thin so it was easy to finish one on my own. My only critique was that the dough of my two pizzas were a little inconsistent -- I liked the crust from the apricot pizza more than their Settebello pizza but the difference was negligible. Overall, a great place to get some fresh gourmet pizza.

Yelp
Best pizza place ! Best service! I'm so glad you that you guys are still active and happy with new location. Please keep the same menu I love it.

Yelp
Ordered the same that we normally do but with the addition of the Involtini which is prosciutto-wrapped bundle of goat cheese-sprinkled on a fresh bed of bitter, peppery arugula topped with parmesan and balsamic reduction. Eat half of it on its own but then save the rest to put on top of any pizza you order to add that freshness.

Yelp
New location, dough still tastes amazing, sauce still their classic, pizza texture is different from their prior spot though, much thicker than it used to be. Highly recommend the Vico with crushed tomatoes. Ask for happy hour menu.

Yelp
Since my last review, each time I've visited there have been too many issues with the food. Tonight the Panzanella arugula was tough and grassy, rather than delicate, the tomatoes were sour, not sweet, the croutons were so hard they were inedible. The whole thing was also rather bland. Tough and bland. Not a great combo. I left more than half of it behind. The onions of the Vico pizza were raw and strong. I can already tell I'm going to be resentful as I taste them all night long. (And I love onions. I eat them all the time. But I like them sweet and mostly cooked or marinated.) The pizza was mushy in the middle and too chewy toward the edges. Too oily for me as well. Everything is just "too" something. There was a huge crowd on this Friday evening, so evidently many do not agree with my assessment. I do recall liking their Pizza Bolognese, so I can at least recommend that, if you like Neapolitan pizza. I've been drawn back in the past because of the cute bar. Nice place to grab a drink and snack, read the paper, before commuting out of town. They have a Happy Hour from 3-6. I really hope when they move to Lake St (as I've been told they are doing shortly) another restaurant takes over this cute bar.

Yelp
I would go here every Monday while attending CSULA when they gave $5 pizzas and would order at least two pizzas. I'm not sure if they still have this deal, but if they do make sure to take advantage! This place is so good, make sure to try the Diavola pizza and the Sicilian meat balls with the pine nuts

Yelp
This place is walking distance from my work and wanted to try some good authentic pizza and who would have those this is right around the corner! There is plenty of space and the center is a nice bar that overlooks Colorado Blvd. the server made a few selection recommendation and we got the lunch special of the pizza and salad. By far quick and attentive we got the meal in 10-15 minutes! The salad was fresh and the pizza was thin crust delicious. I would definitely be back here for the happy hour menus

Yelp
While in Cali recently and craving some good pizza, we opted to give this place a try based on the reviews and unfortunately it was a huge let down. The service was nonexistent, the food was underwhelming and the pizza was the worst I've had in a long time. The restaurant itself has a nice vibe and I believe that there is so much potential but they have to reinvent their menu and hire more attentive staff. The place was pretty empty so no excuses!

Yelp
Get more dough and I'll update this lovely review. This is the most ridiculous reason not to be seated at a pizza place 1h30m before closing hours

Yelp
It is a nice Neapolitan Pizza in Pasadena with rustic vibes. The restaurant has the old-fashioned wood burning oven.We were greeted and seated promptly. The hostess brought us the menu, we got; -Bruschetta 4/5 Fresh tomatoes, Garlic Basil, Oregano, pancetta. It was too garlicky for people who don't like strong garlic taste. -Insalata Grande 5/5 Arugula, prosciutto  speck, Artichoke heart, goat cheese, shaved parmigiano, mushrooms I enjoyed the salad, it was light, tasty and flavorful. -Prosciutto E fig Pizza: 3/5 Fig marmalade,  prosciutto , mozzarella,  olive oil.  There was some imbalance between the sweetness of the fig marmalade to the prosciutto. It was on the sweet side. The topping was scanty. -Settabello pizza: 5/5 Crushed tomato, mushrooms, pancetta, sausage, pine nuts, and mozzarella. It was so savory and flavorful. The perfect Neapolitan pizza. -Focaccia : 4/5 Oven baked flat bread topped with olive oil and oregano. -Spumoni Bumba  5/5 Chocolate, strawberry, pistachio  gelato in a chocolate shell. This gelato just elevated our spirits. It was indulgent and extremely delicious. I could go back only for the Spumoni Bumba. tiramisu 5/5 Was rich but fluffy, perfect creaminess, perfect sweetness. It is worth a try. We enjoyed our time and the waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. It is a nice place to hang out and try fresh baked Neapolitan Pizza and Indulgent Italian desserts and gelato

Yelp
This casual spot offers handmade Neapolitan pizzas fired in a wood-burning oven. They can also make a decent mock-tails, which paired perfectly with my food. The pizza pizzas are delicious. The crust is thin and crispy, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. I would definitely recommend trying the Margherita, Salsiccia or one of the specials. The Caprese salad was a bit of a disappointment. The tomatoes were not very flavorful and lacked color. I'd recommend Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana for a casual pizza night out. The pizzas are delicious, the mock-tails are refreshing, and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely be back for another bite.

Yelp
People who don't love the pizza here don't understand what true Napoli pizza is. It's not going to be crunchy, thick or oily. It's not NYc pizza or Chicago style. The crust is super thin, soft and wilts when you pick it up- that's how it's supposed to be! If you don't like it then you don't like Napoli style pizza. All that being said I absolutely love the pizza here. The sauce is Sooooo good, it's the closest I've had to Naples. The cheese and crust are perfect as well. What more can I say? I always order the DOC and my husband gets the Diavola. We love both.

Yelp
Generally quite decent pizza if you are of the glutinous chewy dough camp as I am. Salads are also well done. Where they fail spectacularly is the pasty program. Recently we ordered a tiramisu and a panna cotta to go. The panna cotta was actually very tasty, but portioned as if a sample at a food festival - see photo. The tiramisu was also a disaster with no structure, resembling a mousse hastily thrown into a plastic cup with some rock hard ladyfingers tossed in. To be fair, they apologized in advance for the state of the tiramisu and said they would comp it, but we had already paid, and they never did refund us for it. A shame this is such a deficient part of an otherwise solid restaurant.

Yelp
The dining scene in Oxnard, a usually dreary town, has been utterly abysmal, leaving my refined palate dismayed and my spirits dejected. Yet a single ray of hope has emerged in the form of Settebello Pizzeria, a new establishment that elevates pizza into a noble culinary art form. Upon entering this charming trattoria, one is immediately struck by the rustic ambiance - the exposed brick walls and pressed tin ceiling recall an authentic Italian osteria. But do not be fooled by the humble decor; Settebello aspires to excellence. The margherita pizza here is simply divine - the crust boasts the perfect consistency, with just the right amount of char and chew. The San Marzano tomato sauce sings with bright acidity, while the fresh mozzarella adds an indulgent creaminess. Each bite transports the diner to Naples itself. A bit salty depending on your choice, but nothing that a side of balsamic won't temper. They peddle gluten-free bases and fully vegan toppings too. The rest of the menu excels as well. The arancini rice balls arrive piping hot and crispy. The beet salad is freshly cut in the classic Italian style. And for adventurers, there's bone marrow, which pleased my finicky consigliere. Wine list was tops. And prices make it well worth the pit stop when driving up the 101. In a town where mediocrity reigns supreme, Settebello is a beacon of culinary light. It brings a much-needed sophistication to the pizza genre, executed impeccably. We'll definitelt be returning often to this exceptional restaurant that has captured our most discerning hearts. Thanks Mari for the impeccable service!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I have been regulars at this pizza place for quite some time, often choosing it for our date nights because of the exceptional pizza. We visited last weekend for the first time since they moved to their new location. While I preferred the ambiance of the previous venue, I was hopeful that the quality of the pizza would remain unchanged. We arrived around 9:10 pm, close to their closing time. Our food was served promptly, but we immediately noticed that half the crusts were burnt black. Despite this, we decided to give it a chance, only to find that the pizzas were excessively salty, and the VICO had an overwhelming amount of cheese, making it feel like biting into string cheese. The dough was also notably tough. Even my boyfriend, who typically enjoys saltier flavors, found it overwhelmingly salty. We couldn't help but wonder if there was new management or some other significant change. The most disappointing part of our meal was the DOUGHNUTS. The DOUGH itself was inexplicably SALTY, which rendered them inedible despite the sugar on top. When we brought this to the attention of a server, they relayed our concerns to the manager. He came over and, initially, seemed to think the issue was with the sugar. After we clarified that it was the DOUGH, he apologized, attributing it to a "It could be just a BAD DOUGH" batch and doubted that remaking them would improve the taste. He did remove the cost from our bill, but his explanation was UNSATISFACTORY. How could the dough be so SALTY? I am deeply saddened by this experience. I have always loved this pizza place, but after this visit, I am hesitant to return.

Yelp
I know this is the "Traditional" pizza that started it all, but I consider this Artisan Pizza and it is darn good. While it's not the traditional cheesy NY slice, Settebello has me eating their tomatoes. How are they so good? Then you get the dough with that sourdough taste, no matter what pizza you get, it's going to be awesome. The staff is always great and since they just moved and we can't wait to check out the new spot. They have some decent happy hour drinks as well.

Yelp
I came here with a friend before seeing a show at the Pasadena playhouse on a Wednesday evening. It's less than a 5 minute walk from the theater. It wasn't very busy at all and we were seated right away. Our pizza came out quickly after ordering. We ordered the Brie e Apricot pizza and the Polpette Napoletane (meatballs with focaccia bread). The pizza tasted great and I loved both the sweetness of the apricot and the saltiness of the prosciutto. It was very thin but also big enough to feed 2 with an app or 1 very hungry person. The meatball dish came with 4 meatballs and a good amount of focaccia bread on the side. The focaccia tasted more or less exactly like the pizza crust and it was a little too thin and burnt in the middle but the sides were pretty soft and tasty. The meatballs were also a little burnt at the top but still tasted great. We paid about $40 pre-tip for both dishes. Indoor seating only. There was also bar seating available. Only street parking or theater parking.

Yelp
Love the food. The pizza with artichoke was delicious. A really great spot to enjoy the food and have a bottle of wine. Will be coming back

Yelp
Dinner in Pasadena, California... Somethings don't always turn out as planned... My new friend, Hannah S., made reservations at a Mexican restaurant a month before we were to meet. Eleven of her friends and five of my friends were going to celebrate Cinco de Mayo together. We waited for about 45 minutes on the sidewalk in the chilly breeze and finally walked across the street and had pizza at Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana. This pizza place was so good to take our large group right away and provide excellent customer service! Our waiter, Cary, was friendly, helpful, efficient, and even took a selfie with our group outside of the restaurant after dinner! Haha! Jean L. and I shared the Settebello Pizza. We both enjoyed the pine nuts on the pizza! We also liked the thin crust and the other ingredients such as sausage, mozzarella, crushed tomatoes, and mushrooms! The environment was comfortable - even though every seat was taken. We were split up between two tables, but that's ok. The main thing was that we were together... And we weren't hungry anymore! Bonus: we found free street parking on the side streets of Colorado Boulevard!

Yelp
Walked into a surprise restaurant that turn out to be Settobello new location. The pizza was delicious! The nitro coffee stout was the perfect combo with meal and tiramisu!

Yelp
A group of us had arranged to get tother to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and welcome a fellow Yelper Nadine on her visit from Hawaii. Unfortunately, our chosen location didn't honor our reservation and after waiting 40 minutes past our scheduled time and then told it might be another 30 minutes before we were seated, we headed across the street to try our luck at Settebello. We received a warm & friendly greeting from Sarah (hostess) and when asked if she could possibly accommodate a party of 16 she said, "Absolutely! If you don't mind being seated at two separate tables." (The restaurant was pretty much full.) Within 2 minutes we were seated. Our server was Cary, and he was fantastic! He truly went above and beyond to provide excellent service. The craft cocktail menu is creative and since I had been looking forward to a margarita all day, I selected the Italian Margarita (Tequila, Limoncello, Lime juice, Agave, & Campari). It did not disappoint. There were 6 of us at our table (10 at the other) and we decided to share 3 of the woodfired artisan pizzas and a salad. We got a Margherita, a Quattro Fromaggi, the Market Special, which featured pork belly, and the Insalata Grande. I had a slice of the Quattro Fromaggi and to quote the lovely Dee A. it was "Sofa king deelicious!" Everything was on point. The crust was perfect, the sauce had a great flavor, and the cheese was fresh. We all agreed that the pizzas were a 5/5. The salad was also great! It contained tomatoes, artichoke hearts, mushroom, pine nuts, shaved parmigiano, and was tossed in a light vinaigrette. All the flavors combined were so very tasty. The whole experience from beginning to end was terrific! We all had such a great time. It was so nice to reconnect with friends and meet new ones. Thank you Nadine for the trinkets and the fun trivia games, and Ms. Hannah for bringing us all together. I will definitely come back!

Yelp
This Cinco de Mayo turned out to be a "Roman Holiday" but that is a whole other review:) 5 stars across the board from this girl. They quickly accommodated our very large group with 2 tables next to each other. It was perfect. Our server Cary was PHENOMENAL!!!! Very attentive and a super personality. We ordered our drinks, 3 pizzas & a salad which we all shared for our table of 6. Perfect amount of food. It came so quickly! My first drink "Tequila Mockingbird," was not jiving with me. I told Cary, our server, and he let me replace it with their "Italian Margarita." It was perfect! The margherita & quattro formaggi pizza were delicious!!! The insalata grande was loaded with artichokes, pine nuts, kalamata olives and mushrooms. The dressing was light and needed a tad more balsamic. It was fun seeing everyone and mingling at both tables. I love these Yelpers!!!! *There is free parking on Colorado. Depending on the day & time it can be a bit challenging to find a space. *There are lots available. Prices vary. *Moderately priced. Around $40 per person includes tax & tip *Great for large groups and families

Yelp
Phenomenal service, delicious pizza, very chill vibes, and great company!! Settebello really came through for us and made our large dinner party awesome - even on busy Cinco de Mayo!! First off - the staff here truly came to our rescue on Cinco de Mayo! We had a reservation across the street - but that restaurant didn't honor it and really left us in the lurch on a busy holiday at prime eating-time! Cue Settebello - one of our group ran across the street and asked if they could possibly take our huge party of 16 and they graciously took us in immediately!! So they turned what could've been a disaster into a very lovely dinner party - so, HUGE SHOUT OUT to all the staff!! And especially our server Cary! We had food on the table in no time and he made sure we had a blast! Their menu is full of interesting and unique pizza options. They even have some sweet and savory combinations like fig & prosciutto or Brie & apricot! Our end of the table ended up sampling and sharing a variety of styles. Their Market Special changes regularly and on our visit it came with pork belly - and it was superb!! Their house fave is the Settebello with pancetta, sausage, mushrooms, pine nuts and more - it was delicious too - their sausage is lovely! The Diavolo is a spicy salami pizza and has quite a pleasant kick to it - I enjoyed it very much - definitely one of my fave choices. The Bianca is one of their white sauce pizzas and comes with prosciutto and arugula and it was another top choice - I really liked it! Carbonara is one of my fave dishes so I went with their pizza carbonara- it was good but didn't really taste like carbonara so I was a little bummed. So all in all my top fave is a toss up between the Diavolo and the Bianca! Our party also ordered a Moscow Mule and a glass of Chianti - and they both enjoyed their drinks. But they have a large drink menu with some other interesting cocktails as well. The vibe is very chic and relaxing - surprising ambiance for a pizza spot! It's a great location too - a busy spot on Colorado in a lovely part of Pasadena - great for people watching or walking off all the pizza after dinner haha! Parking is all street parking - some of it free and some of it metered. After 6pm there's no time limit. There seemed to be plenty of spaces in the area too - just be sure to read the signs. As I mentioned, the staff are just awesome. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back! THANK YOU SETTEBELLO - for saving our night!!

Yelp
It did take the waiter ten minutes to come and take my order but once order was taken pizza was out within five minutes. I ordered the Margherita Doc and it was really light and tasty.i did have an upset stomach later but I can't say for sure it was the pizza. Also, be careful when settling up your bill. The check they give you has a suggested tip that factors in the tax. Minimum suggested tip is 18%.

Yelp
This spot is GREAT for a quickie dinner. My husband and I came here because I was craving some good pizza and this was it! The pizza was perfectly cooked...the crust was delicious! We also ordered a salad which was definitely large enough to share. We loved it...great vibe, decorations, and service.

Yelp
I came here the other day and the pizza was so good! My boyfriend's friends came to meet up with us here as there usual spot for pizza. Every time we come here, they don't disappoint us with their pizza. The way the crust is a bit charred and the toppings are simple; it makes the pizza enjoyable and that you can taste everything that they made into the pizza come together. Parking is on the street, but it's not hard to find if you park on green. Customer service is great and I hope they keep!

Yelp
It was so good, there was no time for pictures @settebello_pasadena Quality of the pizza and meats was chefs kiss* I don't recommend any cocktail ( we tried 2 and both were awful), I would stick to beer and wine here. Service is not the best, but the food makes it worth it. Ambiance is very casual and laid back. Must try's: Misto appetizer (add the buffalo mozzarella) Bianca Pizza

Yelp
Very fun place, good service. Staff were very helpful, provided extra marinara at our request, was very attentive, and gave great suggestions. Very nice decor, comfortable seeting with an authentic casual woodfired pizza - real Napoletana style - Arancini : so good, two large pieces, with great sauce. Rice was great, and great crisp on the outer crust. -Settabello pizza: Crushed tomato, mushrooms, pancetta, sausage, pine nuts, and mozzarella. It was so savory, good tang on the sauce, great pull on on the cheese, and flavorful. Great crust, nice char, great bite. The perfect Neapolitan pizza - The margherita pizza : simple, great cheese, nice tangy sauce. Great for the kids. All the pizza have a good char, from the woodfire, but like many Napoletana style are floppy in the middle. Still a very good pizza I would definitely comeback, with family and friends. Dragon egg approved.

Yelp
My favorite pizza in Pasadena. The dough on the pizza is the right type of chewy and the flavor from the wood fire oven make is all the better. What I also love about Settebello is that the pricing is super reasonable considering the quality and other options in the area. The servers are all very friendly and attentive as well.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came here to satisfy a pizza craving on Memorial Day when our options were limited. I had the Romana salad which I really enjoyed. It was an entree sized portion and had the perfect amount of tang in the balsamic vinaigrette, complemented with the marinated artichokes. I also had the Diavola pizza without sausage. It was still spicy even without the sausage which I always appreciate. I personally thought it was a little underwhelming and too soggy for my taste, but I do recognize that Neopolitan pizza is sauce heavy. Would I come back here for the pizza? Probably not. But I do think the Romana salad is worth it if you're a fan of veggies like myself. The service was average, definitely did not take away from the experience but it was not noticeably slow. As a small side note, there was a table of 2 Italians sitting behind us talking loudly seemingly having a good time and enjoying their meal, so that's probably a good sign?

Kat C.

Yelp
I like this place! Cozy, attentive but not smothering service and fresh tasting food. I also enjoyed the drinks they had (Elderflower Punch) and I would go back to try more of their pizzas.

Yelp
Service and food here were amazing. My cousin and I came here for a serious pizza craving and we were satisfied by ordering the Bianca and margherita pizza. Their pizzas are more personal-sized but also larger compared to Blaze pizza, so it was good for sharing. Our server was always on top and refilled our drinks without asking. He was more than accommodating in recommendations and requests too. On a weekday night, the ambiance was quiet and comforting. I saw individuals come in having their own personal pizza and wine. I'm excited to come back and try their other flavors when I get a chance!

Yelp
Loved Settebello. This place is a hidden gem located in plain sight. We came here for their happy hour and had excellent real Italian-style pizzas at Italian prices $6.5 for a 7-inch. These pizzas were fantastic and filling with quality ingredients. I also had a panna cotta which was delicious. We felt like this was a nice fancy restaurant experience, but the total came out to like $23 for TWO people in 2023??!!!! I can't even. It was amazing. Really looking forward to returning. Plus, the service was great. Hit high marks on all fronts. We didn't get drinks this time, but they have some fun ones on their menu and from what I saw, they looked good.

Yelp
Brick oven pizzas, thin crust, simple. A pizza is a pizza, only so many ways to cook it, only so many ingredients one can use. It's good pizza, definitely tastes more authentic and cultured than the regular fast food pizza joint... but is it worth paying twice for? I think not... unless you're a pizza connoisseur... Good to try once but probably won't return.

Yelp
The pizza was okay. The toppings were tasty, but fell off of the pizza whether eaten with a fork or by hand. If I was scoring on the pizza alone, I would give this place 3 stars. However, I am also scoring on the service at the restaurant. The waitstaff were horrible. The woman who was seating people was nowhere to be seen when we arrived. There was a small line, so she had clearly been MIA for a while. When she showed up, she walked us to our seats, dropped the menus, and left without saying a word. Our waitress took our orders quickly. The pizzas also came out quickly. However, what never came out was our waters. I had to find a different member of the waitstaff to help us. If the original waitress had ever bothered to check in on our table, I would have asked her, but from apart from placing my order and receiving the check I never saw her.

Yelp
We had a good time and Settebellos! There was a wait but we had drinks at the bar which ended up being perfect timing. Thought it was inconvenient to have to close out of a bar tab then start another one at the table. I recommend having the pizza cooked well if you like a bite to your crust. It's definitely a certain style of pizza. They had great happy hour deals. I will come back during happy hour!

Yelp
Great ambience. Food was great. Service is really really good. Portions are very big. I do recommend that you order two pizzas or two plates for two people. Pizzas are about 8 inches. The size of a small plate but very good and very fulfilling.

Yelp
Ambiance was cool, front staff over quoted and not as friendly, waitress was nice, food was average and pizza came out really late after we finished most of our other entrees.

Yelp
I was born and raised in Naples, just trust me when I say this is the best Neapolitan pizza in Los Angeles (comparable to Eataly in Beverly Hills). We have been going there for 5-6 years at least, stuff is very friendly. Our favorites are Margherita, Emilia and Bombolini with Nutella. The gluten free option also is amazing. They just changed location, the new location is not far from the old one on Colorado and has parking in the back. On Mondays they usually have 7$ Margherita that is a great deal if you want to try it for the first time

Yelp
This place has always been special for my wife and I. We had our first date here a little over 6 years ago. Great food, modern feel. Our waiter tonight was Evan. He was attentive and friendly. We started with the Arancini, deep fried risotto with mozzarella in the middle. Then we each had a margarita pizza. Sorry I didn't take a picture of the Arancini as I was too excited to eat it. Definitely will be coming back again.

Yelp
Great ingredients, super tasty ~ however, their oven stone wasn't up to temperature. Resulting in soggy bottom on pizza, and I asked for a crispy crust.

Yelp
The Margherita pizza was ok but not much flavor to the sauce and it's fresh mozzarella so I get its water but so watery that there's no way you can pick up the piece and it's becomes a puddle of water and sauce. I was disappointed. I'm Italian and so excited to try this place. The salad with arugula, prosciutto and artichoke hearts was good. The other guest had a sausage pizza and it was soooo watery. I've eaten numerous times at Olio in grand central market in DTLA and it's amazing from the sauce and pizza crust. Soooo tasty. Not watery.

Yelp
Great spot for fresh pizza! Came with a few friends and shared two pizzas, a salad and appetizer. It was enough food for all of us. Service was good but there was a little wait. And the decor and vibes of the restaurant were lovely. For drinks, I got the special Aperol Spritz and the Bellini. Both drinks were good. We also got the Focaccia and the Beet Salad. The Focaccia wasn't traditional, it was basically the planned seasoned pizza - probably the only disappointing one :( But the Beet Salad was yummy - really liked the goat cheese and the orange beets. For the Pizza, we split the Diavola and the Settebello. Both of them were very tasty - the sauce in the Diavola had some heat but super flavorful. Even the sausage on the Settebello was good too, and the crust on both pizzas were nice - I appreciated how they weren't too thick and had just the right amount of crunch. A great spot for a Pizza night.

Yelp
Settebello never disappoints, and I'm yet to try anything I don't like there! Oh, I take it back - sometimes their salad tomato's are not ripe :-) The choice of cocktails is super satisfying and pizzas are just SO good! They use this amazing kind of goat cheese, which is to die for - both on salads and pizzas. If you come before 6 pm, you are likely to get a table right away. Remember, they don't take reservations.

Yelp
Great service, but the pizza is much too soggy for my taste. The pizza here is thin crust, which I enjoy but in this case the Settebello pizza I ordered and Pizza Polpette my friend ordered both came to the table already soggy towards the center and basically disintegrated. It made for an unappetizing texture and look. I do enjoy the toppings of both pizzas especially with the pine nuts. We also shared a panzanella salad which had these soaked croutons that had the texture of chicken. Altogether I may not have fully appreciated the authenticity of these dishes the way that other people do, but based on my experience and taste I probably won't be back. I will say that the service was great, and the ambiance was excellent as well.

Yelp
TLDR: Unique toppings and flavors, featuring salty ingredients and tough, charred crust. Wait staff is present but slow, ambiance is nice but could be better. Other than that, the unique ingredients and handmade pizzas were enjoyable! - - - - - - I visited Settebello with a friend, and there was a 15-minute wait on a weekend night. The overall ambiance includes rustic, brown walls and dimly lit areas. The decor is nice, but the lighting could use work; in particular, one of the tables had nearly no light... we had to use our flashlights to view the menu! We were glad a nearby table was cleared, but the party that took over our previous table were visibly frustrated with the lighting. We ordered the Emilia and the Bianca. Although they were out of prosciutto, the waiter suggested the pancetta as a substitute. The pancetta for the Emilia was quite salty that it was inedible. Although the dough was great, the crust was pretty tough and charred, making it hard to eat. The Bianca was alright, sharing similar features of tough and charred. The Bianca was a little better than the Emilia, mainly the variety of cheeses and arugula. I enjoyed the stringy pull of the pizza, but other than that, the pizzas weren't enjoyable. Maybe I don't know quality, and I may be an outsider commenting, but the crust and lighting ruined the night for me. In addition, I was commonly ignored or missed by the wait staff that night. I'm not sure if it was busy, since there were no more than 1 or 2 parties waiting for seats. Other than that, I really appreciated trying handmade pizzas and unique toppings.

Yelp
4.5 Stars After a failed attempt to celebrate Cinco de Mayo at a neighboring restaurant, our group of 18 walked across the street to Settebello and were seated almost immediately, without a reservation! Lively bar and dining areas, with an open viewing pizza oven. Weekday happy hour from 3 - 6pm. SERVICE (5 Stars): Excellent! Cary waited on us and was awesome, but all of the staff that assisted him were equally fantastic. Everyone was friendly/engaging, helpful, and very efficient! DRINKS (4.5 Stars): I ordered the Classic Old Fashioned ($12.50) and it was one of the best I've had. I made a comment to Cary that normally, they come with a Luxardo cherry, but it wasn't listed on the menu. He wasted no time and went to the bar and came back with one for me. A couple of the group ordered the Tequila Mockingbird ($13.50), but didn't care for the taste, so Cary jumped in and replaced them quickly with Italian Margaritas ($12.50), which they loved. Again, fantastic service! FOOD (4 Stars): The group ordered quite a few different pizzas, but I had the Market Special pizza of the week ($22), topped with salted pork belly, cherry tomato, basil, mozzarella, and a salsa verde. We also tried the Settebello ($21) with pancetta, sausage, mushrooms, crushed tomatoes, and pine nuts, as well as the Quattro Formaggi ($19), the Pizza Carbonara ($19), Margherita ($20), and the Diavola ($19). The pizzas were cooked in their pizza oven, which was almost tableside, but by the time they were delivered to the table, they were warm, but not really hot. Overall, a wonderful experience and we'd definitely return for more. I do recommend you give them a try.
