"The saddest closure for me was Seven Stars Pepper, not so much for the quality of the food (there are better Sichuan restaurants in the area), but for the challenge it represented in running a restaurant at the 12th and Jackson intersection. I enjoyed many satisfying meals at Seven Stars, and I hope the other restaurants in that area can survive." - Adam H. Callaghan

"To get to Seven Stars Pepper, you have to ride an elevator up to the second floor of a strip mall full of restaurants and the law offices of one Gary Grotz. But once you’re in, you’ll find a large space that’s perfect for a last-minute group meal. This Sichuan spot has everything from personal hot pots to plates of crispy pork, but the specialty (and most delicious thing here) is the homemade hand-shaved dan dan noodles. Someone will toss them around in a spicy peanut sauce tableside, and serve them to you in individual bowls. photo credit: Chona Kasinger" - Aimee Rizzo

Very authentic! Friendly and fast service. 3 dishes were served in less than 5 min on a Saturday evening. Their House Special Fish is the best 水煮鱼 so far after me having moved from coast to coast in the States for ~10 years. BTW, their Chinese tea is surprisingly good too. Feels good when having spicy food.

Overall decent Sichuan food! Some dishes were great some were okay. The staff was very nice! Parking is a bit odd and the building it’s in was a tad sketchy and dirty. We came in as a group so it was okay.

Hands down new favorite Chinese restaurant in international district! Everything we ordered was authentic & delicious! Heavenly! The service was great also. Definitely coming back to try more dishes!

Absolutely dank food… the service was great. The lady serving us was super polite and she was great! They were open on Labor Day so it was our only option but it was undoubtedly the best option! The food was super authentic and full of flavor. The food also came out super fast and there’s truly nothing to complain about. I highly recommend visiting this place!

Decent food for decent price. Food for 3 people with leftover is only $60. Servers are very attentive and the place is spacious and clean. We had 4 dishes. The hot pepper shredded potato dish was not as good as other places but still decent. The pickled veggies and fish soup was huge. My favorite dish was the taro (actually konjac jelly) and duck dry hot pot; it came with generous amount of duck for only $16. Food wasn't as spicy or flavorful as other sichuanese place but I don't mind coming back.

Great spot with fast service and good distinction of flavors. The veggies were not overcooked and the meats tender. The dan dan noodles were just the right amount of chewy - a must try!

This place has some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. We let let the chef know that we ate anything and loved spice, and left our menu up to him - and it was WONDERFUL. The owner of the restaurant, and our server, told us she brought us dishes like her mother used to make. Come here, ignore the menu, and trust the chef! Notes: The restaurant is admittedly not in a great location, but the food is with it. I also ordered take out from here once, ordering off the menu, and received more typical bready, bland "Americanized" Chinese food.

Extremely good Sichuan eats. Plenty of street parking nearby. In a rougher part of Little Saigon, so it's probably better to frequent during the daytime. According to The Seattle Times, the restaurant may close soon. Make sure to visit while you can!
