Excellent Pizza by the slice. Crispy crust, great flavors. Service was good. Decor a d vibe was relaxed and fun with the Beatles theme on display. Barbecue chicken, in particular, was fantastic. I will be back when I return to the area.

First time here with my bf and OMG ONE OF THE BEST PIZZAS I’VE HAD IN MY LIFE !!! The Super Bee slice sent me into orbit 😭 was so worth the hour drive .. wings were great too and the staff was very lively and friendly as well ! Will be coming back !!! :)

Alright, these pizza are fire. Genuinely one of the best places I have some SOLID pizza and literally never had a bad slice. I don't know what truly makes it different than saying the dough is crispy and soft, the flavors and pepporoni meat lover, just too good. Absolutely recommend this to anyone coming into town or just hanging out because these pizzas are amazing. Staff is always super kind and easy going, definitely not afraid to tell what to get or have them surprise you and just let the food speak for itself. Get yo self a SLICE! Decided to give Sgt. Pepperoni’s Pizza a try after a horrific visit at Dominic's Ristorante Italiano and Sgt. Pepperoni did not disappoint! A good cheesy pizza is the perfect balance of crispy, golden crust and rich, gooey cheese that stretches with every bite. Not to mention, the garlic knots are to “dive” for - gone in an instance.

Always a great experience. We're always wary of great businesses that start to be run by teenagers - but not here. Even though the employees are young they are friendly, experienced, helpful, and caring. Oh and of course the food is amazing.

Wow came in with my family tonight after a long day from being at the beach, To start off Thank you to Josh for having the patience when taking our order due to my kids being loud and all over the place. He also attended our table and made us feel welcomed with a smile ! Drank a blond beer and wife had a huckleberry seltzer, wings were perfect and don't get me started on the pizza..... best pizza we've had in a while. The tvs were also playing different games so you'll never miss a match. Love the ambience! Peace Love Pizza!

Sgt. Pepperoni's is a pizza shop with multiple locations in the Southern California area. This location is in Newport Beach just off the 73 freeway near John Wayne Airport with a small parking lot. When you walk in, order at the front and they give you a buzzer that'll buzz when your food is ready. There were tables throughout the restaurant and claw machines in the back. This location serves both beer and wine. We ordered online and scheduled a time for pickup. PIZZA OF THE MONTH ($7) - as the name suggests this one changes monthly. The one we ordered was the Thai pizza slice with carrots, peanuts, bean sprouts, and cilantro. It did a really good job tasting like a Thai flavored pizza but it was just not our thing. Perhaps my brain couldn't comprehend Thai flavors on a slice of pizza but points for creativity. 3/5 GARLIC KNOTS ($9 for 6) - these were just balls of dough with garlic and parmesan on top. Personally I think it would've tasted better with cheese inside but I liked the marinara dipping sauce. 3.5/5 PINWHEEL ($8) - what I thought was lacking in the garlic knots with the cheese was more than made up for in the pinwheel. This was very oily but it satisfied that cheesiness craving for me. 5/5 WINGS ($14 for 6) - you can choose up to two flavors and we chose the buffalo and barbecue (3 wings each). Between the two I preferred the buffalo more as I liked the hint of spice. Unfortunately they forgot our ranch but fortunately the wings were flavorful enough to not need it. 4/5 MEAT PIZZA ($12.25) - we ordered our 14" specialty pizza with half meat which included pepperoni, Italian sausage, bacon, and their meatballs. I especially liked their meatballs. All the ingredients had a salty flavor profile and as a lover of meat this hit the spot. 5/5 SUPER BEE ($12.25) - the other half of our 14" pizza was super bee. Unlike the meat with a single flavor profile the super bee was salty from the bacon, sweet from the crème fraiche and ricotta, and spicy from the Frank's hot sauce. There was a lot more depth of flavor in every bite. This was a unique pizza and was delicious. 5/5 For the pizza we also added extra garlic for free which was a nice addition. I was surprised by just how good the pizza was. The flavors were great and I also really liked the pinwheel.

My boss recommended this spot for our office lunch. He wasn't even there that day but insisted we get the meatball ricotta because it's his favorite. Needless to say, the meatball ricotta is now all of our favorites! But all the pizzas were amazing. We also got the meat pizza and the margherita. Margherita was my 2nd favorite! We ordered online and it was delivered on time. I will probably be having this place a lot more often. 3 18" pizzas was more than enough for my staff of 8. The 14" pizzas prob would have been enough.

Decided to come here on a Sunday morning after charging my car to grab some lunch. There wasn't too many people when we arrived, but after ordering, a whole bunch of people came in! The service is super friendly here, and I love the vibes of their decor. We got the super bee and the margherita to share. The super bee was my favorite of the two! It was packed with toppings, ricotta cheese, and had a sweet and savory taste to it. The marg was different from the ones I normally have. It came with tomato slices and basil which overall was still good. Waters are self serve and there is plenty of indoor seating plus some outdoor seating. The parking looks small, but there's quite a lot of spaces, so you'll definitely be able to find a spot.

We visited tonight as a family and had a wonderful experience. Thank you to Josh for always making us feel at home--his friendly smile, welcoming attitude, and great energy truly set the tone for our evening. He attended to our table with care and made us feel valued. I enjoyed the 1000 Steps beer while my wife had a glass of Chianti, both excellent choices. The wings were cooked perfectly, and the pizza was outstanding--one of the best we've had in a long time Special thanks to Benny as well for contributing to the great service. Not just pizza...crispy, gooey pizza! Toasted pizza, by the slice, delivered to your table, even if you get a buzzer. A very festive atmosphere. Parking is limited but not impossible to find. Self serve water/soda station. Selection is quite nice. Small salad is shareable. Highly recommend the pinwheel. It's like a mini Chicago deep dish with garlicky, crispy crust.

Amazing pizza, garlic bombs, and pinwheels! The pinwheel dough is so flaky and delicious. Dough and sauce are made every day and you can tell . Friendly and fun atmosphere. Edited to add - It was so good I went back with a different person the next night! Same awesome experience.

No issues the last several times I have been there. The staff have all been amazing! Which is why I had been so spoiled and so upset about the poor service I was suddenly getting. I feel the person in question was the issue. They are the only employee we have had issues with. We haven't seen them the last several times. Thank you Sgt. Pepperonis for reaching out to me. And letting me share my experience. I constantly send people here. In fact, I just sent my barber here a few days ago and he seemed to enjoy it. We are headed there tonight. My wife wants to get the pizza of the month. It's one of her favorites.

Always love Sgt Pepperoni's pizza! The crust is the perfect thickness where it's not too thin but not too doughy. My favorite thing are the flavors of the month! This month (May) is The Al Pastor Pie (house made green salsa, mozzarella cheese, pineapple, al pastor (pork), carmeizlied onions, and topped with guacamole drizzle and fresh cilantro) Their flavors of the month are soooo creative! This one was delicious and so unique! My other favorite normal flavors are the Veggie (which uses high quality veggies like broccoli) and the BBQ chicken. My husband likes the Buffalo chicken a lot too. You can get pizza by the slice here too and they warm it up for you which is awesome. They also sell individual garlic knots and pinwheels. It's better value to buy a whole pizza but it's also fun to try just a slice of different flavors. My best tip is to ask them to 'double slice' the pizza since otherwise the slices are really large and hard to eat without getting sauce on your face!

I love this place and love taking all my friends and family here! The vibe is fun and welcoming, with a nostalgic, family-friendly atmosphere. Ordered a Bronx Bomber Pizza w/ no mushrooms and they gave me no pepperoni. Then on top of that they put pepperoni on the salad when I said no pepperoni. I submitted a request on their website. This place is awesome!!! Pizza place is based on The Beatles. The food was delicious!!! It had Beatles memorabilia and inspiring quotes. To be honest, what made this place special was the employees I had encounters with. Josh was really great and brought positivity in helping us order. He made us feel like family. It was our first time and he made great recommendations. Also Benny encouraged us with kind words. Highly recommend this place. Good people, good food and good vibes! Long live The Beatles!!! Peace!

AMAMAZZING PIZZA AND GARLIC KNOTTSS! Nice vibes with very friendly staff. This place has plenty of room to hangout. They even have a cute mini arcade. I like how they have a bunch of pizza boxes ready for you to take home your delicous pizza.

This is hands down some of the best pizza I've ever had! I got a half and half pepperoni and margherita and both were incredible! I ordered take out on a Wednesday night and it was super crowded and I had to wait like 5 minutes for someone to help me but I it was worth it. 10/10 recommend

Been wanting to try Sgt. Pepperoni's for a while and finally decided on pizza for lunch one weekday. I ordered the large meat lovers for pick up (preorder online!). This particular location is in a small parking lot, so I can assume parking will get challenging when it gets busy. For the pizza, they give you a ton of meat on the meat lovers and the crust is pretty thin overall. Good taste, texture, and crunch! My only issue is that the pizza was a bit too salty overall and I needed to drink a lot of water with each slice.

I ordered buffalo wings on a weekday night and the wings had little furry hairs sticking out of them! I could NOT eat a bite. I was traumatized and almost puked. That was $20+ straight to the trash. Ugh. What a waste of food and money. I don't like throwing out food and will always take home leftovers but this was just disgusting. The workers also pressured us to leave as soon as we got our orders since they were 30 minutes til closing but it was honestly so rude. The asian worker stared at us while we ate because we were waiting for one of my other friends' orders. They started mopping around us and putting up all the chairs while there were two other parties there including my friends and I. Safe to say....My friends and I won't be coming back. This was my first time here and will be my last. :) Never again.... Also.. Do NOT order the wings!!! Unless furry hairy wings are your thing. PS. Where is the hospitality? For being in the hospitality / food industry this was a miserable fail. And in Newport Beach?! I understand workers want to go home but closing the business early and pressuring/staring at patrons to push them to leave is a nightmare situation. If I were the owner, I would heavily re-evaluate the protocols for closing. I'm not only disgusted with the wings but the treatment we received as paying customers.

One of my favorite local pizza spots in OC. The service is always great, it's family friendly with a small arcade in the back, and chill vibes. Came here for dinner tried the busy bee, bbq chicken and spinach & broccoli pinwheel there. Ordered the mushroom slice and meatball & ricotta pinwheel.

Amazing pizza! They even have Vegan Pizza too. The staff is super friendly. Ambiance is nice and clean. Great for family and big group gathering. They have flat screen tvs, little arcade area for the kiddos. Ordered Lunch combo to go: BBQ Chicken - The pizza was so perfect. The toppings are Chicken breast, red onion, cilantro, and mozzarella with barbecue sauce. I added their hot pepper and it was delicious. Pink Lemonade I will definitely come back to try another specialty pizza, garlic knots, salad, and chicken wings.

The Best Pizza around! Loved the crispy crust and all the various kinds of pizza available to purchase by slice at the cash register. We took this out and it was a perfect pairing to our Sunday night football! They even had an amazing vegan cheese option that was by far the best alternative I've ever had (way better than the standard cashew alternative cheese). You wouldn't even have know it wasn't real cheese! Pickup was easy- they give you a buzzer when waiting so you can know when to come up to the register to get your order. Gave me New York style vibes for sure!

Tried pizza here for the first time after hearing nothing but good things. I decided to try the Hawaii 50, which was good, but also disappointing at the same time. This pizza could've been perfect, but it comes with NO sauce on it. Now technically sauce isn't listed on the menu, it is also not listed for most of the pizzas including those that have sauce, but sauce is a given on a pizza, this should be stated that it's a sauce less pizza, or at the very least list the pizzas that have sauce as having sauce so that at the very least someone can question why this pizza is also not listed as having sauce. Or just let your guests know when they order it.

Know when you walk in that the pizza is gonna be some of the best you've ever had! I will go again and would go out of my way to go again! The atmosphere is major casual, and can be noisy, but they do a booming business with take out and regular diners. They have a nice selection of draft beers, my favorite being Mother Earth Cali Creamin' (the reason we first went there!). Their happy hour is a good deal- a beer and a slice of pizza for $9.00. I will go again!!! So damn good!

Sgt. Pepperoni's is officially one of our FAVORITE pizzas in OC! Their extensive menu has something for everyone, making it the perfect spot to bring friends and family. We enjoyed several different pizza options, wings, and a pinwheel. The pizza slices were huge and the sauce and toppings just went so well together--it felt very carefully crafted!! And I'm such a sucker for good dough/crust that I HAVE to point out how good Sgt. Pepperoni's is in this department. The dough has such a good hearty flavor that gets complemented with the soft interior and crispy edges. The broccoli and spinach pinwheel was cheesy goodness and such a cool concept! It's eseentially a savory cinnamon roll! So yum and unique! Last but not least, wings were packed with flavor and super juicy!! Overall, we were so pleasantly delighted with this meal and cannot wait to come back!

This place is top notch! You can pick your slice of pizza. The staff are always extra nice and helpful, even though its staff are teenagers. I get grandma pie each time and its so good. I wish they had a better wine selection- the white is terrible. They have a great selection of craft beers. Very busy place- well deserved! Good job to the owner- you truly know how to run a great business.

My second run at Sergeant pepperonis pizza was amazing, again! What makes this place so special is the love and care by the staff and the owners. This reflects in the food and the vibe of the overall restaurant. Families and friends and couples eating, smiling, laughing and enjoying the food and ambience of this classic pizza centric spot. I specifically would recommend the broccoli pinwheel pizza. (If you're not a huge eater, this could be enough food for one.) I also have to recommend the Caesar salad. I just love this place and have a great time being there.

Pretty good pizza. We got a bunch of different kinds to try and they were nice enough to cut it in half. We got the House salad and it was okay - very cheesy. The balsamic dressing seemed very thick. We also got the 6 piece buffalo wings and while they are baked, they were really good! They have a small arcade in the back, which is fun for kids.

I had this pizza at a friends babyshower and ate 3 slices, btw the slices are huge, it was that good! Since then I have been thinking about it and finally ordered an 18" for the family We did the half and half of meatball ricotta/pepperoni. Hands down the best pizza I've ever had, I'm a huge ricotta fan, and they load the pizza with it. You've got to try the meatball ricotta, the sauce, the toppings and the breading, perfection for all those pizza lovers! I did a phone order and whoever I spoke to was nice and the order went quick and gave a pick up time. They have an app and for first orders it's $5 off

A must try!! So crazy because this spot was so close by us, but we never knew of it until seeing an instagram reel about it. Very very good pizza. We loved the thinner crust slices. A definite must try. Will go again to try the other toppings. The service was great and efficient. Loved how they had a display of all the pizza toppings.

We've given sgt pepperoni several times at Newport Beach as well as Irvine location to make up for poorly constructed pizzas but they have failed too many times and have become a huge disappointment. Either over OVER sauced when we say light sauce, missing cheese in the middle of the pies, thin barely there crust in the center of the pies and rare crust at times. Can never be consistent, can never get an order straight, it's amazing they're so busy, yet always too busy to get things right. Highly do not recommend sgt pepperoni's for a good pizza done correctly.

I can't believe I went so long without checking Sgt. Pepperoni's out! This is an all-around fantastic pizza establishment. Pizza, salads, and wings are all high quality. Do yourself a favor and add on the Honey Siracha wings to your order. They were finger-licking good. As for pizza slices, I enjoyed the Meatball Ricotta.

This is my go to pizza spot when I want a good pie to pick up and be at home! I love the Hawai'i Five-O, I used to be so anti pineapple on pizza but it just WORKS. I regularly get the Bronx Bomber as well and it's perfection. Their crust is crunchy on the bottom which is SO important, some places are soggy. It has that crisp but also that softness. Their wings are delicious! Their buffalo sauce is prettty spicy, just a warning. Also they have the GOOD RANCH.

A good local spot for a slice or a whole pie. They are pleasant, quick, and offer lots of different condiments for the pizza even a pre packed ranch dressing. I'm not basing the rating on my current visit as I just flew back from NYC earlier that day and no way would it be fair. Instead I will give my rating based on the totality of my overall past experiences. Been here more than a dozen times and it's always hot, fresh, and packed with toppings. I'd like to give them a solid 3.8. I wish the thin crust wasn't as floppy but with that said I can always ask for well done. I also prefer their plain pepperoni pizza on their thin pies but their grandma pies are even better than their thin crust pies. They have other locations but this one is the OG. Give them a go!

ricotta mealball, mothers pie, margherita pizza all super tasty. garlic bread was good as well. fluffy texture when fresh. dont know much about the ambiance as we've always gotten take out but will continue to come back for the pizzas!

My brother ordered the BBQ chicken, Bronx Bomber, and the Works pizzas and they were all pretty good! I would recommend to eat the pizza there so you could get the freshest experience because my pizzas were a bit soggy due to the long car ride home. When I got home, I added some chopped garlic, popped it in the oven, and BAM it was deliciousness! Chefs kiss. The BBQ chicken pizza barely had any chicken on it, but it was still tasty. The Bronx Bomber was too doughy in my opinion. I didn't get to try the Works pizza (since I was full from the humongous slices), but my brother said it's one of his favorites! I'm already excited to pop the leftovers in the oven for tomorrow's meal hehe. I will definitely be back to try it fresh at the restaurant!

This pizza place is Beatles inspired. Thus the name, the decor, etc. Been here a couple times, the first time I went, I did not put two and two together right away and realize the name Sgt. Pepperoni Pizza Store was a play on the Beatles album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Then the light bulb went off, duh! . You order as you walk in at the front counter, then sit down and wait for them to bring your order. Service is friendly and fast. It's a great spot for beer , pizza wings, sandwiches, salads, etc. The pizza here is thin, the crust is crispy and tons of topping options and they serve an 18" large pie for bigger groups. The pizza has a perfect amount of cheese/sauce and they are pretty generous with the toppings. I opted for basil on one of the pizza's as I am trying to watch sodium and less processed meats as you may or may not have read in my other reviews and got a house salad as well with a hard boiled egg added, oil and vinegar dressing. Pizza, salad and beer just works. They have dozen or so IPA's on tap, various bottled beers. Of course non alcoholic drinks like soda, teas, water, etc. as well. Great spot for groups, friends, night out, great for families, anyone. Check them out. They have a happy hour from 2-6 where you can get a slice and a draft for $9 or a slice and a bottled beer for $7 as well. Enjoy!

Delicious pizza to please a crowd of any size. Easy to order online and they have a ton of options to chose from. It was my first time trying grandmas pie and it was a hit! Will definitely be adding this to my orders moving forward.

The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean and full of fun decor; the giant gumball machine is awesome. We got the works pizza with garlic knots and the antipasto salad. The ingredients were definitely fresh, but overall the dishes could've used more seasoning.

This wasn't my favorite pizza- that's ok, but I want to recognize and elevate a positive client experience when I have one, and I am so appreciative of the offer I was given. Found this place online, open til 9 so just enough time to put an order in! I had the pepperoni, extra cheese, add black olives. I had a little trouble getting to the location (out of towner- maps and google maps kept trying to send me down a toll road even though I said no tolls- so I basically had a tour of everywhere but the right location! Once I arrived I popped in and noticed everyone was hard and work cleaning for the night (definitely makes you better about your food when you see them prioritizing cleanliness). They had my pizza in a warmer, and everything else I needed ready to go in a bag- and they didn't miss a thing. They were super friendly, and it was an easy handoff. I dug in once I got back to my hotel. I was pretty underwhelmed. Not bad, just nothing special. If you need something quick and easy though this is a great place to swing by.
