Went to Shaanxi for lunch yesterday and the BiangBiang noodles did not disappoint, so yummy, and perfect texture. Stir fried eggplant and green beans were delicious, cumin lamb was amazing. The rou jia mo was flavorful. The braised spicy chicken had tons of potatoes and the chicken was chopped really small and with the bones it was hard to enjoy. We didn't care for the dish, I did like the tingly. We would go again and try more of the menu. Restaurant is very clean and our server, Shirley, was helpful.

Google
This is five stars because it’s my favorite Chinese place that I’ve been to in Phoenix so far. The decor is very quaint and beautiful and feels very authentic Staff was very nice. Food was really good. Everything was amazing except my only complaint was we ordered three different dishes and they were all kind of extra sweet. The meat and vegetables were perfect, but I ordered Kung pow chicken and I think it was like the Szechuan beef and I think the other one was like garlic chicken or something like that and they all had a really sweet sauce like they were trying to make the Americans happy Still, they were very good. I just it would be OK if there was like a savory dish every now and again and it doesn’t have to be so sweet. It might just be me though because I’ve been recently giving up sugar and everything is exceedingly sweet.

Google
My absolute favorite Chinese restaurant. I have to go every time we come to visit our son. The best Chinese food I’ve ever had. My favorites are the egg drop with seaweed, the beef tripe, the cucumber salad, and any of the curries…so far. They have so many options it’s hard to choose. Very friendly staff with great service. Love the atmosphere and tonight they had a woman playing beautiful live harp music. Thank you!

Google
Large menu but everything is good. Their stir fry has very good "wok hei". And they can add wide noodles to anything and make it taste good. Went here multiple times now - with wife and another time with a large group of 8. Both times are good. Only issue is the lamb skewers was chewy and dry.

Google
The green beans were the best I've had in a long time. Everything else was delicious too.

Google
I showed my best pick at this place. We order same food every time and it’s never get boring. We go there every week. So good quality products and always fresh. The service is outstanding! They always welcome us and provide the best customer experience 👍🏻 if you are looking for a good place to get acquainted with Chinese food, Shaanxi is the best for me!

Google
The food is always so good here. My favorite is the shredded potatoe. I tried squid today. It was great as usual.

Google
Came here on recommendation from a friend and absolutely loved it. Our server was so friendly and the food was delicious! Loved the dried green beans and the spicy cumin lamb noodles. I don’t know how they make these noodles, but it was like strands of Chinese lasagna that stretched for yards. I’m still working on how to use chopsticks with amazing long noodles like that, but any attempt is well-rewarded! Will come back here for sure!!!

Yelp
The only place for good hand shaven noodles now that Nan Zhou is gone! There's a young man who works here who is always so friendly and helpful. I had cumin lamb noodles and dry-fried string beans. The noodles are so good! Next time I'll ask for spicier and try some of the other noodle options. Plenty of parking and easy to grab takeout or get a table.

Yelp
Wanted a sit down Chinese experience with great atmosphere. Got absolutely amazing food instead. Possibly my top 5 in the country for Chinese.

Yelp
I almost always opt for Mexican food...but not this night. We were hungry...we had options...then my best friend said "there's a pretty good Chinese place up here, let's do that." I was initially against it,...I wanted a burrito, but I gave in. This is a sit and order at your table place. We were greeted quickly with a smile. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Lots of seating inside and everything looked clean and inviting. The plates are definitely shareable, but we figured that out after ordering. I got the Biang Biang Noodles with Pork and it was really good! Nice and spicy with thick slices of jalapeño. My friends ordered other entrees that I tasted and liked them. They also ordered the Fish Pot...heads up, that is a HUGE! But wow, it was good. On a scale of 1 - 10, I'll come back....I need to try more here.

Yelp
Incredible food. We ordered the noodles and a dry beef pot. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was mind blowing. I was pleasantly surprised their wine and water were very good (not every Arizona restaurants water is good). Service was awesome.

Yelp
First time eating here in person! Pretty busy on a Saturday night walking in at 6pm. Spacious restaurant with a lot of large tables for bigger parties. There was live classical Chinese music playing as well which is pretty cool! The food here is pretty good and we would return for it. We ordered the water boiled fish which is a HUGE portion and too big for 2 so we had plenty of leftovers lol. Be careful, it's spicy. The biang biang noodles with pork and noodles with cumin lamb were delicious. My only gripe is that they're a bit understaffed. The wait times in between ordering weren't terribly long, but the 2 staff on the floor were quite busy and we had to remind them for bowls of rice to eat with our fish. Sometimes it's hard to get their attention.

Yelp
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this hidden gem of a restaurant, and the experience left me raving. The homemade noodles, infused with the bold flavors of cumin and Sichuan peppercorns, were an absolute delight. Paired with succulent lamb, they elevated the meal to a level I can only describe as extraordinary. It's a culinary masterpiece that I'm genuinely surprised hasn't garnered a cult following. The Beef Shwan, despite being veggie-packed, was a savory treat, showcasing the chef's skillful preparation. The soup dumplings, though slightly less soupy than I anticipated, were nonetheless delicious and added to the overall excellence of the meal. Beyond the exquisite food, the customer experience was top-notch. The staff was attentive and helpful, enhancing the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. I find myself eagerly anticipating a return visit solely for those unforgettable cumin-infused, lamb-laden homemade noodles and those tempting soup dumplings. A solid 10/10 - this restaurant is a hidden treasure that deserves every bit of acclaim.

Yelp
Such a gem, and I hope they move to the west valley so that I can come here all the time. Biangbiang is just such a unique texture and flavor, and a lot of their specialties here are things that you just can't find elsewhere.

Yelp
Overall 3 entrees and 2 veggies. Total $100 for 2 people's 2 meals - $25/person/meal = decent pricing. Oil seared noodle with cumin lamb + well cooked noodles + tasty flavor of the sauce - not too flavorful, oily, or salty, makes you want to come back and eat the whole dish + lamb is not gamey + nice bean sprout, potato, tofu Dry pot chicken +/- nice flavor on chicken and is crispy, though a good amount of breading vs actual chicken + a little numbing spice + spicy spice + potato slices are creamy flavor, nice lotus and onion Mapo tofu + good amount of other veggies like cabbage, broccoli, bok choy A choy, requested less salty & oily + good Mixing cucumber + nice citrus/sour to balance out all the other flavors +/- a touch salty but overall tasty

Yelp
Awesome food - Authentic Chinese food. Excellent Service. Ambiance is very nice! A place to take friends.

Yelp
During my recent visit to Shaanxi Chinese Restaurant, I found the Szechuan Beef to be well-spiced, offering a pleasing blend of flavors. The hand-pulled Lamb Cumin Biang Biang Noodles were incredibly flavorful had an interesting numbing sensation from Sichuan peppercorns. While the soup dumplings were delicious, they were a bit less soupy than expected. The service was decently attentive, and the restaurant's spacious layout, including a bar area, provided a comfortable setting. The background music, featuring a mix of modern pop songs, added a nice touch. Overall, Shaanxi Chinese Restaurant offers a satisfactory dining experience with some enjoyable dishes.

Yelp
The food here is very good, and I'm happy with the portion sizes, even though I think it can be a bit pricey. Staff is friendly, and they can adjust the level of spice for you too if you ask. The restaurant sometimes will have live music where a woman will play a traditional Chinese instrument called a Guzheng, which is pretty cool to listen to while you eat. I like the Biang biang noodles, the cold mixed cucumber dish, and the sliced potatoes dish. Do note that while this place does offer American-style Chinese food, they are more known for their more traditional Chinese dishes and that's what I recommend you order if you visit. Parking is super easy here too.

Yelp
Been here before, and my go to is the chili oil noodles, wide and chewy and delicious ! They add a bit of bok choy and a seasoning something that is tasty . I also ordered the shrimp dumplings which when dipped into the chili oil were awesome as well. If you want noodles that are perfect, come here. Their menu is huge and noodle based and their service is knowledgeable and prompt. Authenticity at its best.

Yelp
A HIDDEN GEM. As a Chinese person I can say that this is literally the BEST authentic Chinese food ever. This has to be my number one top spot cause the food is so good reminds me of China. Service was amazing and the place is spacious as well! TRY THIS PLACE OUT!

Yelp
Wow! My wife and I came in for a pre-Christmas meal and were blown away! This food is Delicious and so well made. The balance of spice and flavor is masterfully maintained. Such a unique experience. The service was fast, friendly, and welcoming! The dinnerware, artwork, and ambience were relaxing and immersive. We will be BACK with friends! Get the egg drop soup as a starter to split, sublime!!

Yelp
"The culinary history of Shaanxi cuisine is one of the world's longest, and one of the richest too. According to written materials, the first major features of Shaanxi cuisine, such as its diverse ingredients, refined cutting and cooking techniques, and rich flavors, could be traced back to as early as the West Zhou Dynasty, a few thousand years ago." ― chinatours.com It's Thanksgiving Day and I had no plans for a turkey-and-honey-glazed-ham dinner until the day after so no yummy dinner was being made on the big Turkey Day. I wanted some good eats without having to cook though so enter: Shaanxi Garden! We got the Water Boiled Fish in Spicy Oil, Dry Pot with Duck (my substitution for the big turkey bird for the holiday), and Beef with Vegetables. The three of us dug into a very moreish water boiled fish. I enjoyed eating rice with the sauce more than anything. The Dry Pot with Duck was interesting. It wasn't what I imagine but I liked it. As for Beef and Vegetables, it was pretty standard so no complaints. Shaanxi Garden is a great place. It was super busy the night we went and the service and food didn't suffer at all despite a full house. Give them a try!

Yelp
Food was ok, nothing too exciting, in fact a little disappointed at the cold noodles, texture was not what I was expecting. Service was good. Place looks nice but the table we sat at has a sticky greasy film.

Yelp
Nasty food ... dish brought out was spoiled and had rancid tofu in it. PLACE IS DIRTY NEVER AGAIN

Yelp
After hearing and seeing rave reviews for Shaanxi Garden, I decided to check it out. Don't miss this place. Their menu is varied and has everything from classics to unique specialties from northwestern China. We tried the dumplings in spicy chili sauce, chicken fried rice (yeah, I know...my companion is a less adventurous eater) and a spicy chicken entree that REALLY upped the spice game while still being enjoyable. While it's in a strip mall, once you walk in, you'll notice sweet murals of Chinese people enjoying games, food, sports and traditional cultural elements. There is an area where musicians can play traditional music, a bar and pretty lanterns. The floor is worth noting as well, with large tiles reflecting Chinese culture and landmarks. So, how was the food, you ask? I'll be back. Soon. The dumplings are amazing. The fried rice was very bland. Next time we'll order it spicy. And the chicken dish had amazing flavor and spice. The one drawback was I did find chicken bone in two pieces of the chicken thigh meat. The chef needs to be more careful when chopping the meat. Having said that, the food at other tables looked great, patrons seemed very happy and the atmosphere was very nice. I'll look forward to updating my review after a next visit. I need to try the green beans and a noodle dish next.

Yelp
Food was not good... ambiance was awful. The place was not run well at all. Menus out everywhere a lot of boxes out in the open and tables were not cleared. Normally I would say those places are usually pretty solid if they don't care about appearance, but the food was not good at all. Hot and sour soup was all hot and no sour. Absolutely no flavor. The lemon chicken was basically goop dumped all over fired chicken. Did not taste good and was way over priced. Bad experience. I will never eat here again. Anyone that is rating this place 5 star doesn't know what they are talking about.

Yelp
The food here is true chinese delight! We've been back 3 times even though it's a 40 min drive. You won't be disappointed.

Todd M.

Yelp
We were visiting the area and my wife was excited to try this establishment. She ordered the Oil seared noodles with braised beef. Extremely disappointed. Noodles were lack luster, no QQ (IYKYK). Flavor was nonexistent other than the taste of rancid oil. Buy beware.

Ed W.

Yelp
The table was sticky and dirty. It hadn't been cleaned. The crispy chicken appetizer was very disappointing; dark meat with bones with a slight coating that was not crispy nor flavorful,. We expected yummy crispy chicken from their signature app but only got meh The dry seasoning on the side was delicious but could not save the sinking dish. The noodles were outstanding with excellent texture and mouth feel. However the sauce was bland and the portion was extremely small for the price. The lone star was the dry green beans which were well prepared and well seasoned. However for a $50 check, it should not be the green beans that steal the show. We won't be back.

Yelp
Food is authentic! Service is great! Very nice environment . Biangbiang noodle is the best noodles!
google avatar

Liezel P.

Yelp
I love Chinese food! This place adds potatoes to their dishes which makes me think it's Asian fusion but for the most part it's pretty decent Chinese food. The veggie dishes are 10/10 and the oil braised beef noodles are better than the biang biang noodles!
google avatar

Yelp
As a native of Baoji, Shaanxi, I value authenticity in food. I've tried various dishes at this restaurant, and honestly, the taste is just okay. Being from a city where Mountain Qi noodles are renowned, I can only rate their version a 4/10. The cold skin noodles also earn a 4/10. Other dishes I've sampled include the Shaanxi Hamburger (6/10), Oil Seared Noodles (6/10), and Braised Chicken with Noodles (7/10) and Paomo (7/10). It's important to note that this is made in Arizona, not China. Hence, despite the ratings, I'm still giving them 4 stars for their effort.

Julio S.

Yelp
Most folk crowd Mekong for the dim sum dishes that are methodically churned out daily - almost bland and routine. But travel a 100 plus feet beyond Dobson and do not miss out on the Shaanxi Garden restaurant . The menu is vast and truly Chinese and food is great tasting and authentic. The staff is attentive and helpful, the restaurant very clean , prices reasonable and makes you wonder why do people go to the restaurants at Mekong Plaza when the Shaanxi beats them hands down for great food. I've lived in Hong Kong n Singapore and know good Chinese fm routine fare. Don't miss .

Yelp
The restaurant has lots of unique dishes, which will be great a large party to sample them. Since I am by myself, i ordered Cucumber and Hot Oil Seared lamb noodle. The cucumber with garlic was great. The unique hot oil seared noodle looked spicy, but did not really catch much. The flavor was great, but the only shortcoming was lack of cumin lamb inside the bowl. Way too much potato in this dish. If they put I'm little more lamb the I will reward them one more star.

Yelp
Been craving roujiamo (Chinese shredded meat on bread this is like a dense English muffin) and this place offers 3 types. I opted to try their cumin lamb & spicy pork ones along with an order of spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles. I went in right when they opened for dinner service and they already had a few table come in and be seated. This place is a fairy good sized (medium to large) restaurant and beautifully decorated with a few large tables, several table that seat up to six folks, several booths & 2 person tables. The staff was friendly and professional. The took my order and it only took about 20-30 minutes to be packed and ready to go. Everything was seasoned well, cooked right and tasted great.

Yelp
My son and I came here for dinner and man was this the best comfort food I've found since coming to AZ ( 11 years now) and hands down the oil noodle braised beef was better than American chicken soup... my son did the oil noodle cumin lamb I feel his had more flavor and I'm going to try that next time... we also had the soup dumplings those were delicious Full of all kinds of flavor and yummy.. service was fantastic

Yelp
First time here. Food was good! Service was on point. Staffs were very friendly and respectful. Braised eggplant - my fav dish so far! The skin was crisp and the sauce was flavorful. Everything was greasy but that's Chinese food for you... They also had live music - a Chinese Harp-like instrument, which was super cool! One unfortunate thing is our pickled cabbage fish dish had a cut plastic in the soup.... Picture attached. Hopefully they will be more careful next time.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised to find such quality regional Chinese cuisine in Arizona. The food itself was 4 stars but combined with the ambience, live Chinese music and huge portions with very reasonable prices, I am giving it 5 stars. Likes its name, Shaanxi Garden serves food in the region of Shaanxi in China. Lamb dishes, biangbiang noodles are some of the specialty in this region. Although Shaanxi Garden has a very modern decor, the food is very authentic. What's more, they have a live person playing Guzhen(Chinese Harp) every Friday and Saturday. Taichi Squirrel Shaped Fish with Two Flavors- fried fish served two ways - sweet and sour sauce and cumin, salt and pepper. Hands down the best fish dish I've had this year. Both flavors were phenomenal! The sweet and sour sauce was perfectly sweet and tangy with pieces of fruits throughout. The cumin, salt and pepper side was perfectly fried and the seasoning was so tasty that you wouldn't want to stop eating. The portion was huge and such a steal at only $18.99. BBQ Squid - the squid had good texture and the seasoning was nice. Biangbiang Noodles - the noodles were thick and had a nice bouncy texture. We ordered mild. It'd have been even more tasty if we ordered spicy. Be sure to check this place out with great authenticity, quality and portion with very reasonable prices.

Yelp
It's been a while since I last visited so I tried some different dishes. The good: The biang biang noodles were pretty good and the meat was tender. The dried eggplant also had a nice savory and spicy flavor. The bad: The Shaanxi style burger stewed pork was extremely dry and tasteless without any sauce or chili oil. It was 6.99 which could have paid for an actual gourmet burger. Lastly, I noticed later that I was charged for the complimentary fortune cookies (listed as "crispy bread") after the meal. They were brought with the check so it was already on the bill. Lesson learned to watch out for this.

Yelp
Food was five stars. Delicious dumplings and noodles. Attentive service. We will definitely come back for take out. Unfortunately it was unbearably hot in the restaurant. Hey owner, it's June in Phoenix. Air conditioning is a must. I shouldn't walk outside and breathe a sigh of relief.
google avatar

Unisha M.

Yelp
The taste of the food here is indisputable but the customer service, price and portion could be better. We come here often so this is a collective review of those experiences. We always get the BBQ lamb, chicken gizzard, some soup dumplings and our absolute favorite from the menu is the Biang Biang Noodles with cumin lamb. You have to try the noodles! Oh on the vegetable side, their hand torn oyster mushroom dish is amazing. Oh bdw they charge extra for a side of rice!
google avatar

Darya S.

Yelp
The prices here are outrageous. I got a hot and sour soup and it was almost $9! On top of that, they charge the credit card surcharge of 2.5% to their customers, so that all their transactions are free for themselves. And on top of that, this soup took almost twenty minutes to make. Despite all this, I give a solid three stars because the soup was hearty and delicious. It was also spicy, which is rare to find, so they are true to their word there. I do wish it had shiitake mushrooms, as that is a key ingredient and I didn't taste any. I wouldn't return, as I think I can find the exact same thing in the area for a third of the price (like at China Basil), but it was fine to try once.
google avatar

Yelp
I like the biangbiang noodle here. And also the Mapo tofu, super yummy. Waiter is so nice! Very nice Chinese restaurant
google avatar

Stanley C.

Yelp
Great place to come with the Fam. For a couple days a week, a girl comes play the traditional Chinese violin for the crowd. We had the Mapo Tofu, braised chicken with noodles, cumin lamb, seaweed egg soup and hand wrapped cabbage. Highly recommend the soup and cabbage for any meal. Everything else has excellent flavor and were large portions. Most of the menu is spicy but is a great place to try many varieties of Chinese dishes. Cheers

Yelp
We decided to expand our circle for trying different Chinese restaurants and ended up in NW Mesa. Friday evening, restaurant was busy and live music. The restaurant was very clean, as evidenced by the numerous health department "A" signs on the window. I always check those out when entering a restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is kind of old school. Definitely a throw back vibe as far as atmosphere goes. Super friendly service, there were a few slight language barriers which led to a couple of ordering errors. They did a great job keeping water and soda glasses full. Now the food part of the review. We had a party of 8, so we tried a good sampling of their menu. Let me just say, this is an authentic Chinese restaurant.the menu is huge and there are some extremely unique offerings. The food was flavorful and the portions where appropriate. The prices were in line with other Chinese restaurants I have been to. The quality of the chicken was a little lower than I prefer. I did come across gristle on a few bites. Glad we tried a new place, but not sure it will be part of the regular rotation.

Yelp
I've had take out from here before. A dish here and there. But this was the first time eating in the restaurant. We ordered 4 dishes. Eggplant dish was alright. The lamb noodle soup wasn't my liking because I'm not a lamb fan but my friend likes lamb and said this was alright. Braised pork wasn't as good as it looks. Just didn't hit the spot. However, the thick cut noodles was DELICIOUS! My favorite dish out of all four.

Yelp
Located in Mesa, Shaanxi Garden (家在陕西) specializes in northwestern Chinese cuisine. If you frequent Panda Express, most of the options available here will be unfamiliar. If you are accustomed to authentic Chinese food, you will be delighted by the menu. The number of Shaanxi specialties on offer here is something I doubt you could find elsewhere in the Valley. Xi'an, situated in the northwestern region of China, was the first capital of China and the starting point of the Silk Road, however, the region also boasts a unique cuisine that combines Chinese and Middle Eastern flavors. Historically, people of this area tend to enjoy noodles and bread more than rice, so noodle and bread options abound. Flavors tend to be different as well with cumin emphasized as well as chili and Sichuan peppercorns. Shaanxi Garden represents these dishes and flavors well, although they also offer hot pot and a few other dishes from other Chinese regions. I loved the coziness of the dining room. If you've ever been to China, you will get the same vibe when you walk in here. It's cutely decorated and conveys warmth. The Terracotta soldiers that greet you when you step inside say it all. They were recently featured on Mark Tarbell's PBS program "Check, Please!" which meant that when I visited on a recent Friday around 5 p.m. they were already hopping. Portion sizes are large. One of my go-to orders with restaurants like this is spicy green beans (干煸四季豆). Here, it is well executed. Not overly salty as it can be and spicy without it being overpowering. Likewise, the lamb skewers were the best I have found in the Valley. Surprisingly, the ròujiāmó, perhaps the best-known of all Shaanxi foods wasn't great. It looked uninspired and tasted average at best. If it was anyone's first experience of trying one, they would not order it again. To be fair, I will go back and try more of the menu. Overall, I would give it 3 out of 5 for food as there is room for improvement. Unfortunately, booze options are limited. They do offer bottled beers, including Qingdao and a range of sake (from their online presence it seems at one point they had cocktails but those days are sadly over). One thing I really appreciated was the warmth of the staff. Everyone seemed genuinely pleased you were there, service was fast, and it was a place where you could linger for a while. I noticed a lot of business seems to be take-out which is a bummer because more people would create a more lively atmosphere, but it is what it is.

Yelp
Shaanxi Garden is my favorite restaurant IN THE WORLD. I've lived in NYC, Spain, and I'm from Miami and I've never tasted anything like it. You simply MUST try it. My boyfriend and I have brought several people and they have all agreed. I'm vegetarian and I always order the seared noodles with veggies (P01) (I think it's the only vegetarian noodle) and a vegetable, or two if I'm balling. The hand-wrapped cabbage (L02) is transcendent somehow. I love cabbage but would never think it would be the star of the show, but it just is. The dried green beans (L05) are my other fav. My boyfriend is obsessed with the walnut shrimp (J05). I haven't even tried many dishes (I come for special occasions to keep the romance alive) but the fact that it's my favorite restaurant still - as a vegetarian and having tried limited dishes - is really telling.

Yelp
I came here with an Asian MeetUp today. I was #4 ion the waiting list for a seating of 12 the night before, but saw 30 min after the event started at 11 am, that I had a seat at the table. Said 12 people attending. So I rished over. When I arrived there were only 5 people who showed up. even tho I came 45 min late, after everyone already ordered and they were eating. Can't believe more than half the people didn't show up. Well, I wont' be a flake. I have eaten here before but all my reviews that were from 5 years ago, just disappeared from Yelp. That old review wasn't more than 3 stars either. I found the Biang Biang noodles shockingly bland. They couldn't remember what other noodle bowls they ordered, but they all looked alike. The lamb one was pretty flavorful, compared to the others. Then there was a noodle bowl with cut up noodles, so they were like chunks of noodle bits. The chunks were chewy and satisfying, but the flavor not that great. Just OK.. I didn't like the thin noodles, they were kinda mushy. Didnt like the cold peanut noodles either, they were in the thin category. Most the noodle bowls we ordered tasted very very bland and boring to me. The grilled squid coated with spices was pretty tasty, about the only thing that was tasty. We also ordered a sauteed Chinese green vegetable, maybe ong choy. That was fairly tasty. I was the 6th person, so they charged mandatory tip at 20%. Our total bill was $132, or $22 a person including tax and tip, which I thought was very expensive for a few bowls of noodles. I forgot my phone, so didn't take anty photos, but by the time i got there, much of the food was alredy eaten, cos i got there 45 min late. I told them I didn't feel I ate $22 worth. I saw at least one other reviewer had commented "the table was sticky". Where I sat at the big round table I put my forearms on, was sticky too. Sticky tables are not uncommon in Chinese restaurants, maybe even half have sticky tables, due to their standards of cleanliness, which is why they are on Dirty Dining so often. The service was attentive, he came by with pitcher of water and asked if we needed any. Not coming back!

Yelp
The place is probably my favorite Chinese restaurant in the valley. The Biangbiang noodles, sweet and sour chicken, walnut shrimp, or any of the dry pot options are great. I've come in on a Saturday evening and they had someone playing traditional sounding live music which definitely added to the experience. Also, the service is great! I've always had very attentive wait staff and the food comes out within a reasonable time. Overall, dining here has always been a positive experience.

Yelp
Very flavorful and great service. Good ambiance. If you like spicy food, this is your place although you can have them tame down the spice.

Yelp
Wow!! This is the real deal, folks! Authentic Shannxi cuisine right from Xi'An! If you've never had Biang Biang, I highly recommend you give it a try! Very good staff, too!

Yelp
Whether here for a quick lunch of their handmade noodles or a family-style dinner with their prolific menu, I've stopped by Shaanxi Garden a few times now and am a fan. First off, you'd be remiss if you did not try their wide handmade noodles, dressed with the intense, savory cumin flavor typical to the Xi'an province. I'm used to finding the more common and well-loved Sichuan-style dishes in the U.S., so I was happy to find a greater variety of dishes here. The noodles themselves are thick, a little chewy in the best way, and flavorfully coated with the spicy cumin sauce. My favorite is the cumin lamb! The menu can be a little confusing - I've often gotten the P07 "Stir Fried Noodles" and P04 "Oil Seared Noodles" mixed up. I prefer the P04, which comes in a deep dish with potato and peppers, but both are good. In truth, I usually only come in for their noodles, and I've only had their other dishes on one occasion, when I brought my dad. He was delighted with the menu (*cue the asian dad forward head tilt, glasses pushed down*) like a kid in a candy shop and ultimately decided on the Dongpo Pork Knuckle. Apparently there are some historic parables about the dish, but I honestly do not remember as I was too busy stuffing my face. Anyways, 10/10. They also have a great ambience with a lot of thought put in (they have cultural guzheng nights), but the food is the real star. Highly recommend. Note: If you're coming in for a late lunch, they do close and have a break between their lunch and dinner service.

Yelp
Wanted to try this new place with the family since we all love spicier food. Ended up ordering the green beans, stir fried pig intestines and a noodle dish. I really loved the green beans as it has a good combination of spiciness and garlic flavor. The hand pulled noodles were good texture wise but really lacked flavor and the inconvenient part was the strands were really long...Lastly, the stir fry intestines which is usually my favorite anywhere we're again cooked well and cleaned well. They were REALLY spicy but still wasn't overly for me. However, they felt under seasoned completely. I'm not sure if I hit an off day but I feel if they had made a few changes this could've been a home run instead it was kind of mediocre.

Yelp
The green beans are astonishingly good! You will enjoy the many choices here. Lots of dishes to try.
