"“I'm a big soup guy. Me and my manager Lisa—she's with me all the time and she's Japanese—we're always looking for soup. Go figure, but Nashville, Tennessee doesn't have a lot of these types of restaurants. At Shabu Shabu, we get a Szechuan broth for our hot pot, and Lisa, she'll get a tonkatsu. It's all you can eat. You get tons of fish and cabbage. I make a big pot of chili fish and then I grill a ton of pork and beef and shrimp. They’ve got great bubble tea. I’m not trying to slam sugar anymore, but I used to get a giant iced thai milk tea.” We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Wait staff was excellent. Took maybe 10 to 15 minutes to be seated on a Saturday late afternoon. I was there around the same time some of the complaints came in, and the menus specifically stated bar and grill are separate charges ON A HUGE menu. They in fact got both grill and hotpot. The floors were not greased. They were kept up accordingly. This establishment is amazing. We got to see the robot sing happy birthday to a couple people as well. Absolutely love this place. 😍

I love this spot. Kind of a hole in the wall vibe. Buffet style and has a sushi train that comes around to choose items to add to your hot pot. All you can eat and they also have grill on the table if you would like that also.

Fantastic spot. Delicious food, fun times! Experience it. Will take pics of meats next visit. We ate a lot of delicious protein. Shrimp Beef Lamb Pork - there is chicken and veggies...

Amazing!!!! What a thrill!!! First come, first serve. Gave our phone number and had about a 20 minute wait. We walked over to look at the meat selection and both of us agree….it’s overwhelming…in the most best way. So many selections of fresh, thinly sliced meat and seafood. And pork and chicken pot stickers. And sushi. I loved creating my own dipping sauce. It gets hot, so wear your hair up. They automatically bring you water, which I love! Scan the QR code to see the descriptions of all the broths. The server was super friendly and explained everything to make it easy for us to learn quickly. Cook the meat on the grill. Vegetables and noodles and tofu come by on a conveyor belt. Cook everything on the grill or in the broth. It was all fun, all delicious, all very reasonably priced considering the selection and the uniqueness of the cooking style.

My family and I celebrated my son' 42nd birthday here and ... WOW, what a great time. It's a hot pot place where you make your food choices from a written AND a live action menu where additions to the broths you choose from the written menu float by on a conveyor belt that operates throughout the entire restaurant. Yep, you just just take what you think might make the best soup ever! And it never disappoints. There were four of us at our table. Each of us had our own "hot pot" with our chosen broth. First, we ordered miso broth and 3 other varying degrees of spicy bases from a list on the written menu. All were delicious! Then, while our base broths were being created and delivered to our table, the conveyor system floated by and we chose corn on the cob, broccoli, rice, Ramen noodles, rice noodles, mushrooms of several varieties, onions, cabbage and many other options too numerous to mention to put into our hot pots. Next, we enjoyed perusing the raw meat buffet tables. Huge numbers of options there. In the center of your dining table, there is a grill upon which you can grill Kobe beef, chicken, several fish options, shell fish, little smoked weiners, and much, much more. (All presented on the raw meat buffet in various forms, so you can pretty much grill whatever you'd like, from steaks to chopped meats for lettuce wraps and everything in between). Potstickers, octopus, squid, and other items can also be found on the raw meats buffet. At one end of the buffet there is a fancy chest freezer that holds, at the perfect temperature, shaved "rolls" of more Kobe beef, pork, and chicken you add to your hot pot soup. At the other end of the buffet are veggies like lettuce (for wraps, if that is what you'd like to grill), and fish balls, meat balls, tofu, quail eggs and more. Opposite the very large raw meat display, there is a 2-sided station. On one end, you can combine various oils and seasonings to make your favorite dipping sauce for whatever you grill ... potstickers/dumplings, etc. I added a spoonful of my sauce (with chopped peppers, onions, and Hoisen sauce, among others) to my hot pot soup for a touch more flavor. On the other side of that station, you'll find fruit, melons, and the sweetest little desserts. We enjoyed the little cupcakes - chocolate with chocolate frosting and "funfetti" sprinkles on top! AND THEN ... a robot joined us at our table and 'sang' Happy Birthday to my son!! If you have never been to a hot pot and grill place, I highly recommend Shaba Shaba! What a dining experience! Give yourself 2-3 hours to take it all in. It is definitely much higher quality than fast food! It is a bit pricey, but the food, the service, the atmosphere, and the talented wait staff (our server was Ross and he was great!) are more than worth the prices. This place is fabulous!!! Some things I forgot to mention: There is a bar, alcohol is served at your table. My kids ordered beer and one cocktail each. I don't drink alcohol, but they did say the drinks were good, if not a bit higher priced when compared to other restaurants that have bars. Shaba Shaba is much more than just a restaurant with a bar. I'm not an expert in this department. I can tell you everyone in the family enjoyed this experience. We will definitely do it again! You can also buy Japanese sodas here. They have four flavors ... not all are on the printed menu. We had peach. There is lychee, original, and one more you can order from the bar. Your servers are quite helpful with anything you need. Don't be shy with your questions! They have a full menu of milk teas if that's your pleasure. This is an all you can eat establishment. HOWEVER, in order to maintain high quality product with minimal waste, the menu states there will be a charge for food left on the plate that you don't finish. (Doggie bags for uneaten food are not permitted.) Go back for more as often as you like. But only take amounts you can eat. The restaurant reserves the right to weigh your plate and charge for leftovers.

One price for unlimited food. You get to make your own hot pot! Get there early, as it fills up fast.

Girl. The whole experience was amazing. It turned a regular dinner into an amazing and fun unexpected date night with my husband! We had so much fun, laughed the whole time, and left so full and happy! Matt was an amazing server and gave such great suggestions! Will absolutely be back- we just found our fav new restaurant! Prices are more than fair as well!!!! 10/10!!!!

Google
This place is my new go-to for taking friends or family out to eat when in Nashville. The atmosphere is great so you can catch up with people while talking and eating at the same time. Some people may have a problem with cooking your own meals, but the variety of items and the price made this well worth coming to. They do not take reservations unless you are a party of 6 or more, so just know you may be waiting 20 minutes or 2 hours to eat depending on arrival times. The food is well labeled so you know what is what on the "buffet". You've got a section dedicated to meat for the grill, a section for your soup ingredients like meatballs and seafood, as well as a section for the more unique items like squid, octopus, etc. There is also a section with sushi, which I cannot comment on because I don't eat Sushi, but it did look good. The sauce bar has a great variety, but even with labels you may not know what is what. It would be optimal to have a nice pairing suggestions of what to mix with what meats/seafoods because I honestly didn't know what some of the sauces were. The service was really great. Our server explained everything and the proper protocol for plates, grills, etc. He explained the tastes of broths and how to do the entire meal. He came back to refill beverages and take empty plates because you do go through a lot of plates and bowls if you are enjoying yourself. It is kind of pricey at $31 a person for the grill & hot pot and if one person does the grill, everyone must do the grill. That said, it's totally worth it between the meat and seafood alone. We will be frequenting this place fairly often when downtown!

Meghan K.

Yelp
We got the hot pot and grill. There's a large selection of meat and vegetables to choose from. They have a good selection of broths to choose from for the hot pot as well. Our server was very attentive. This restaurant is perfect for larger groups.

Tien T.

Yelp
Came here with somewhat high expectations because of positive reviews. Took the service 20 minutes to get our broths out. The space was really cramped and you sit close to other customers. The conveyor belt virtually had no good sides or options to choose from, maybe like 2-3 options. You have to get up to pick up most of the good sides and meat. There was a big party waiting , restaurant allowed them to sit next to the table with all the utensils, napkins, water and such ( unacceptable). One important note, they only had one tong for all 3 meats which potentially causes cross contamination. I would stay away from this restaurant until they fix this.

Ferdinand C.

Yelp
We got the all you can eat hot pot and grill. There was a wide assortment of meat and veggies. The condiment section was good as well. I would recommend going with at least 2 people. The food was good and you can cook it to your preference. The service was great and they were friendly. The atmosphere was accommodating.

Maggie C.

Yelp
A really fun concept with the conveyor belt. Limited options with the carb choices, it's either ramen, rice noodle, or rice cake only, and the only vegetables that I saw that were green were lettuce, cabbage, broccoli and bok choy. This place gets BUSY. I was dining for one only, so I was seated immediately at the bar. Two of the sakes that I requested were sold out. They also have sushi, fruit, some side dishes like kimchi and seaweed, and dessert. I sure left feeling full.

Ash R.

Yelp
As a vegetarian I love this place. There's a meatless broth option which you can get and all of the meat is on one side of the store. They have a cool conveyor belt concept and everything on the belt if vegetarian (noodles, vegetables and more). It's easy to find a ton of options here no matter what your dietary restrictions are. The vibes are also really good. Hotpot is a very social experience so it's great for friends. Would come back here for sure.

Yelp
Best shabu shabu I've ever been to... WOW i've been to a lot of shabby restaurants all over the country and this one stands out the most

Patrick O.

Yelp
We've wanted to try this place for a while. Finally made it. Lots of people, so obviously popular. First you pick your base cooking liquid. We chose three different ones: Szechuan, Japanese and Thai. The Szechuan was very spicy even at medium heat level. Then you pick your proteins from a large buffet selection. More than enough choices, even for vegetarians, on the way back you can add more vegetables or noodles. When you get back to your table the liquids will be waiting and boiling. Cook away and enjoy! Worth a visit. Teppan grill is also available.

Connor G.

Yelp
Wow! This concept is so cool for eating food!! Ok, so if you don't know basically at this restaurant you have a grill at your table and each person has like a pot built in to the table to cook your food. You first will choose what type of "soup" or liquid will be the base of your pot and then you can go get food which is uncooked or just needs to be heated to either grill or cook in your soup. I would DEFINITELY suggest wearing a shirt or even apron that you don't care about as you very likely will get something on you and it can be avoided. Service was excellent and our waiter helped us understand the concept of the restaurant and work through any questions we had, So definitely ask questions!

Christian B.

Yelp
If you're in Nashville, there's a few options for conveyor belt places, but this is our favorite. Prices are great, people are friendly, and it never feels like it's in downtown Nashville despite being right there!! Love it

Yelp
How can you not like this place. All you can eat kbbq and hot pot! What else is there to say. I've been here several times. Been here with friends, coworkers, and on dates. Shabu Shabu is always a great time with great service. Sometimes they do have a wait for you to be seated, but that should be expected when the demand is so high. There is a variety of food that you will never leave hungry. When getting the hot pot some of the broths can be underwhelming but once you find your perfect match you'll be leaving no broth behind. The tonkotsu is that for me. Don't forgot to get some boba on your way out, it will not let you down :)

Gigi N.

Yelp
I ordered the Tonkotzu broth and it came in a tasteless white broth with goji seeds in it. I asked to switched to the Tomato broth and they charge $4.99 for that. Very disappointed. Maybe add some pictures to your menu so customers know what to expect. Especially when you are using the broth name that is from their country. When have you seen goji seeds in your ramen? NEVER!

Yelp
Your hair and clothes will smell because of the bbq grilling. Parking sucks. The spots in back were taken at opening time on weekend. Street parking is $1.75 per hour using QR code PLUS 15% service fee ... wtf. We booked 2 hours but only stayed 1. You can extend remotely so smarter to do an hour at a time (no smaller increments). I do think the parking is a scam because they intentionally overcharge but never fix it although their website says they will. So we got charged $4.50 base plus service fee for $5.18 total. Base should've only been $3.50 for 2 hours. The overcharges are not revised. You can call them and email but it's just a web of passing the buck, non-responsiveness, etc. The city should really look into this. At the restaurant $5 more gets you the grill. And Being a carnivore I thought it was worth it. The short ribs were the best. House wines are $8. Staff was nice. Meats are on the buffet line. Seafood didn't taste the freshest. Shrimp skin stuck and was a bit mushy. The baby Octopus also was not the freshest. I actually felt a bit ill afterwards. Veggies are on the conveyor belt. I thought the veggie selection was limited. Didn't bother me but if I were a vegetarian I might not feel satisfied. Limited deserts too, but who goes for that anyway. Robots not working when I went. Was it worth it? I think for Nashville it's a nice addition. Wish it were not downtown where the parking sucks though. $31.99 was a bit pricey compared to say Memphis where it's only $24.99 and I felt the selection was a bit better in Memphis. For that price in Houston you get Wagyu cuts for the shabu shabu.

Blake R.

Yelp
First timers at a hot pot restaurant! We see them on tv and YouTube all the time so when we saw this place on yelp we marked it for our next visit. We had the Tom yum broth and the spicy broth. My kids dominated the udon noodles, I agree they were better than the ramen which were good. Sushi was good not great but hey it's a buffet. Meat options were plentiful. I think we had the beef, short rib, squid, octopus, pork belly, shrimp, and probably a few more. We enjoyed the conveyor belt of veggies and noodles on a constant rotation. Look forward to next time! Pro tip** don't overload yourself from the start! Start slow and get the hang of it! We dove in head first and we had pure chaos at first trying to manage the 2 kids and our hot pots and grill at the same time! Slow and steady wins the race!

Lisa Z.

Yelp
Despite walking around in 90 degree weather, we were still craving hot pot and Shabu Shabu did not disappoint! I got the tomato broth and it was delicious! On the far left wall, there are meats, seafood options, sushi, kimchi, edamame and fruits to choose from. If you'd like vegetables and noodles, you can grab them from the conveyor belt. I loved the convenience of getting what I needed from the conveyor belt instead of having to ask our server. Our server Matt V was excellent! He made sure we knew how everything worked, our drinks were always filled and he checked up on us often. Would absolutely go back the next time I'm in Nashville!

Hassan W.

Yelp
This was my first time going to a Hot Pot and I absolutely LOVED IT!! The experience was amazing. I enjoyed the customer service and the entire process from selecting the food down to the atmosphere. If you are looking for a good restaurant experience this is the place!!!

Victoria B.

Yelp
4 stars. If you love hot pot, Korean bbq, and all you can eat this is the place for you!! Plus it's individual hot pots so no sharing needed lol! I recommend you come here during lunchtime on the weekends as the options are fresh and refilled often. I was here in October 2023 for just the hotpot ayce and the price for each hotpot was 26.99. Come hungry and leave full. It's conveyor belt style for half of it. I took off a star due to the sauce line being that the area was small and tight to navigate and pretty much only allowed 2 people at a time to create your sauces and toppings. That area just did not have a good flow to it. The Szechuan spicy broth was delicious and tom yum was just okay. I enjoyed the roasted rice tea. Definitely coming back again when I'm in Nashville.

Julia B.

Yelp
I so wanted to love this place, but I was slightly disappointed. The waiter was extremely nice and service was quick. The food presentation was okay and I enjoyed the conveyor with veggies. A few things I didn't love. I would have loved more instruction. It was our first time and nothing was clearly explained, we basically had to figure it out for ourselves, even though we told them twice we had never been. The sauce station was a mess (it was very busy) and unless you are familiar with Japanese sauces it was confusing. It would help to have posted descriptions of the sauce/what is was best on or recipes of how to create one with the variety of condiments provided. The meat was in huge pieces and even if you are adept with chopsticks it was difficult to eat. The broth was not as flavorful as I expected. Most things especially the beef tasted like just boiled tough beef and you had to drown it in soy or ponzu to have any flavor. I will try it again maybe on a slower night when you don't have to fight your way around the buffet. The individual space you occupy with bowls, plates, glasses and the burner is very tight, thank goodness no one set next to me. Also, they desperately need to replace the carpet. It had been replaced piecemeal through the main areas and was frayed/curling at the edges, I nearly tripped several times.

Daley A.

Yelp
Great atmosphere & always busy, but not a long wait. Many options at the buffet-style seafood & meat bar. Conveyor belts have the veggies, tofu, and noodles. Service is always great and the broth is too! Individual broths so each person can have their own preference for hot pot. USE THE FILM-THINGY on the grill!!! I didn't know : (

Sheena T.

Yelp
Shabu Shabu is a very good hot pot restaurant that is a fun time! I've been twice and both times it's been very busy with wait times, so be prepared for that! It's a price fixe menu and you select your broth base with a variety of options. I had the Szechuan base when I came in and ordered it the hot level. I was a little worried it would be all heat, but was pleasantly surprised that it had a very good flavorful broth with a kick of heat on top. You can also add on a grill offering where you grill your own meats at the table. That's a nice option, but I prefer just the hot pot since it's very filling and I found I typically skipped the grilled meats. You select as many meats, veggies, noodles, eggs, etc from the buffet and conveyor belt. They also have sushi and desserts. Be warned that it gets very hot in the restaurant with all the grills and boiling broth happening. The servers are attentive and they have wine, beer and sake. Come very hungry because it's a filling meal!

Melissa M.

Yelp
I chose this place by default, it was across the street from hotel - it was late, I was hungry. I've never tried hotpot, but always wanted too. I started off a little confused, but caught on quickly. The buffet looking variety of items was so large and diverse (almost as many choices as the Cheesecake Factory menu). Perfect stop on a cold night. The broth was very good! I ordered a little spicy and it was just right. The only reason I have 4 stars. The service was not the best- and the conveyer belt with more options to include noodles was low on options. Could have been because of staffing.

Shelly M.

Yelp
So much food and the service was excellent! I loved that you can pick out your meats and vegetables. Best of both worlds with hot pot or kbbq!

Harrell B.

Yelp
This place is a great fun place to share a meal with friends. When entering, you step off a street in Nashville, Tn and you step into an authentic Japanese hot pot/ Bbq resturant. The service is very nice and the food!! My goodness folks!! Fresh and delightful meats and veggies running on a conveyor belt through out the place. Service robots help the attentive staff. We ate so much, they may have to change the name to Shabu Shabu Shabu!! Shabu cubed for my mathematician friends.

Musie Y.

Yelp
What a concept here at Shabu Shabu! All you can eat Korean BBQ and Hot Pot for $32!! They lay out their hot pot ingredients and Kbbq ingredients out like a buffet. Pros - you don't need to wait for a server to order and bring you the ingredients, you get up when you want more food, and you don't need to order in huge portions. Cons - Since all the food is just laying out and tongs are used all over, contamination (if you have allergies) and it might not be the most sanitary. However, I must say that the ingredients and meat were really fresh. On the conveyor belts, which is another cool concept, are noodles and vegetables for your hot pot. I loved that I could easily grab it from the belt. Both hot pot and Korean bbq were delicious! So many options for ingredients, which I appreciated. For the hot pot, you get to chose your broth. I did Tonkotsu which is the pork flavored soup, very flavorful. The Korean bbq meats were nicely marinated and cooked well on the bbq hot plate. On the weekend nights, this place can get super crowded. You have to put your name down and go somewhere and come back. The wait was 1.5-2 hours. Parking - small lot behind the restaurant.

Horton L.

Yelp
My favorite Nashville restaurant period. I go almost once a week. In this economy where almost every other Nashville restaurant is charging an arm and a leg this place saves the day. It is a gem and an amazing family owned restaurant. The staff is always nice and the meat and seafood are always fresh. You cannot beat the price for what you get. Just come eat here you will not regret it!

Tammy L.

Yelp
We'd spied Shabu Shabu the day we arrived. It was literally just a 5 minute walk from our hotel and we joked about eventually having to eat there. Well, after a couple days in Nashville, I was really craving Asian food. Everything we've had up until then seemed so rich and heavy so husband called and audible and had our Uber drop us off here on our way back from a tour. Shabu Shabu offers both bbq and hot pot (or both) but we went with hot pot only. Considering the locale, we were very satisfied with the quality of the food. We were seated at the bar and if I had to guess, this place used to be a rotary sushi restaurant. It's now being used to convey single serving veggies or noodles for your hot pot. But for the other half of the food and sauces, they had a buffet area you can serve yourself at. Not gonna lie - this hit the spot on such a visceral level that I thoroughly enjoyed my meal (I love hot pot) and didn't want to do anything else that evening but walk back to our hotel room where I can lay down and rub my belly. Service was great with people constantly clearing off our table. Overall they seemed shy (probably because we were the only Asian patrons???). Anyway, yummy meal. Highly recommend if you are like me and can't go more than two days without Asian food.

Brian M.

Yelp
Fast service once you are seated. Highly recommend starting off slow when eating here and think moderation over excess. They will charge per pound for any wasted food.

Sendy P.

Yelp
I like how this place is AYCE, not many around town. But every time I go they go ahead and charge me for "waste" when I clearly haven't left over a pound of food every time I go to make sure of this. I don't say anything when I receive my bill because i'm sure the owners are the reason why my server is always charging me regardless.

Richille U.

Yelp
My husband and I drove 50+ miles to try this restaurant and we had no regrets. There was a 30 minute wait for the hot pot seats but we're so glad we waited. This was my first hot pot experience and this was my husband's second. When we first sat down, we were served with waters by Alex. He gave us the menus. He recommended the Szechuan Spicy or the Tom Yum however both had some spice in them and we weren't in the mood for something spicy so we went with the Curry and the Tonkotsu broth. We loved the bar filled with various choices of sea food and meats. The waiter gave us really good recommendations to go with the thinner pieces of meat so it cooks better/easier in the broth which I appreciated. We loved how many options the bar had of seafood and meats. On the bar, there were also choices of kimchi, sushi rolls, fruits, chocolate cupcakes and cream puffs. The sushi was so good! We went for seconds. We loved, what seemed like a fried sushi the most between the sushi's. We didn't care for the cream puffs and the cupcakes tasted like store bought ones but I didn't mind. The main meal was delicious! We would wholly recommend for the price too. We spend $63ish for two people which we thought was amazing being that we spend $80+ going anywhere else. It's an all you can eat too & we were soooo full afterwards. Note: Since it's an all you can eat hot pot, They'll add $12.99 for every lbs you don't finish Con: The seats were really close together for the amount of and the size of the plates and other items we could take off the rotary belt. The customer to the right of my husband was taking up alot of space with 3+ plates and several bowls. He was too kind to say anything or request for her to move her items so he just moved/turned closer to me. I was uncomfortable for him. Regardless, we are excited to go back and try new things off the menu!

Phon K.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite restaurants. We go there at least once or twice a month. The hosts and servers are very friendly. We always get both the hotpot and grill. There are plenty of protein options to choose from. However; there are not too many vegetables choices. The veggies come to you on a small conveyor in bowls that go around the tables. Sometimes, the veggies you want are gone before the veggie bowls get to you. So it may take a while to get what you want. The place is usually packed, so going early is best. The restaurant is fairly clean. There are vents above every grill so smoke from the grills is not an issue. We definitely will go back.

Yelp
We waited over 2 hours here to get seated and the food was good. You have the option to do just hot pot (which is a shorter wait time) or hot pot and bbq grill. We did both and although the food is good, I'm not sure we would wait for 2 hours again. If it's your first time at a hot pot and Korean bbq place, you typically pick your meats, either with your server or some places like this one have meats you get at their buffet bar. Veggies and carbs do come on the conveyor belt, but if there's something you can't find, it's typically at the buffet bar too. You cook the foods primarily in your broth, which can be chosen from the menu. My go-to is usually herbal soup or tonkotsu based. Some of the thicker slices of meat such as the short rib (Galbi) is done on the grill. Marinated meats, always the grill. You'll use your tongs and scissors and cook these yourself. At the sauce bar, you have all sorts of condiments including spices, garlic, and herbs to make a sauce for dipping anything you choose. You can tell the service team works very hard, but it's definitely very busy and things take a little longer. The atmosphere is busy, the crowds are large, and the people are hungry! Hahaha.

Yelp
Go to this place first and enjoyable and interactive meal. Food good! Hot atmosphere. Ladies, you will want to put your hair up!

Yelp
All you can eat Korean bbq and hot pot. We did just the bbq for $30 a person. We really enjoyed the marinated short ribs! The sushi is also really good and fresh! They have a pretty good boba selection and it pairs well with bbq! Make sure you come hungry! Wait can get pretty long. We waited over an hour on a Thursday for table for 2.

Yelp
The food and the service were wonderful. The staff did a great job explaining how everything worked to a group of hot pot first timers. Highly recommend the bulgogi in the spicy broth!

Yelp
Be there when the doors open or be prepared to wait! It can get a little steamy inside. Grill / Hot pot options are great. Service was good.

Yelp
There weren't as many food options as I thought but it was a good experience, me and my friend had a good time.

Yelp
Let me start by saying, the food and service were good! However, it was so incredibly hot in there that the experience was ruined. They need to upgrade the A/C, sweating while eating is disgusting! I brought two friends here who have never had Shabu Shabu and sadly after this experience will likely never do it again. Unless you are prepared to legit drip sweat don't bother.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday afternoon with my grandsons--ages 6-13. I can honestly say that they had a great time. Service was wonderful and the environment is family friendly. My grandsons loved everything but the fruit teas. They did taste a bit artificial. The cost is not bad at all, and I will say is worth it for a nice experience. The only issue I had was the size of the buffet area. It is small but has a nice selection of food. However, the discomfort of cross contamination is real when you have folks not understanding the concept between raw foods close to cooked foods, fruits, and desserts. I think expansion should definitely be in their near future! Also, there should be a little bit more options in the conveyor belt. I look forward to going again for dinner. Maybe the experience will be even better!

Yelp
Wonderful atmosphere and great service. Food was amazing and satiating. The buffet and carousel of ramen toppings is very cool.

Yelp
Overall food was good, service was great, however they definitely need some system to funnel people the right way at the food counters and such. Could just be my inexperience with hot pot. 4/5 would go again for sure

Yelp
It's better to arrive around 4:50, because the line gets long. You can make a reservation if you have a party of 6 or more. They serve boba if you want a nice, refreshing drink. They have a lot of options on the conveyer including ramen and udon. They play music and the servers are so kind. 31$ for both shuba shuba (hotpot) and korean bbq. I would totally come back and i recommend this place if you're in nashville. Opens at 5 pm- 10 pm.

Yelp
Solid all you can eat hot pot and bbq! Love the options for hotpot! They had 3-4 meats for hotpot which were all good. Just wish they were a bit more thinly sliced. There were 4-5 bbq meats I believe. They were a bit chewy but otherwise satisfying haha. Service was great and loved the conveyer belt for veggies and noodles

Yelp
Such delicious food ! I've never been to a korean bbq and japanese hotpot combination but it was an awesome experience. Their marinated short ribs and pork belly were delicious to grill and their hotpot had an abundance of meats, my favorite being beef belly, and vegetables with seafood. Great quality crawfish, I enjoyed the crawfish a lot. Lots of other seafood and meats as well. Service was phenomenal. I will come back anytime I'm back in midtown.

Yelp
This place is really only one of maybe two places in the Nashville area that offers hot pot. If you've never been to a hot pot place this would be a great one to try. The idea is similar to fondue. The difference is you get a pot of broth and you cook your items in it. For a set price, you have the option of all you can eat hot pot or you can combine that with Korean bbq. In my opinion I'd skip the bbq as there are other places that do this part better. The star of the show is the hot pot. To start you pick a broth of your liking- I enjoy their tomato base as well as tonkotsu broth. My friend has mentioned liking their spicy and sukiyaki too. Once you choose your broth they will bring out individual pots and you can choose any of the ingredients to be cooked in your pot! They also offer other items like sushi and lots of sauces and condiments. The trick to hot pot is to cook and eat as you go, rather than filling the pot and potentially letting too many things over cook or get too crowded. As you continue to add items like the various meats, the flavors continue to develop! There is also a conveyor belt that offers various veggies and noodles that are also included. Drinks such as milk tea and soda are all separate. I recommend to also avoid peak dining times as it gets overly crowded in the buffet area. Also be aware that due to short staffing, to be patient and kind as they are doing their best. This is one of my favorite places in Nashville to go to, a must try if you've never done hot pot!

Yelp
A decent variety of food. I say decent because I think it gets old after a while. Serve is standard. They have this film covering the grill instead of letting you grill on the grill which is less work for the restaurant but it also results in worse grilling experience. You could ask for a new film but at times they may just ask you to flip the film. Use that information for how you will. Pork belly is too fatty. Same with the short cut beef ribs. Love the broth and fish. The hotpot meats are also really good. The conveyor belt has some good hotpot toppings. Overall good experience. Would definitely come back once in a while. Wouldn't do too often though so the food doesn't get too old.

Yelp
Visited Shabu Shabu for a late lunch around 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. We were estimated a 30 minute wait for a table, which ended up being pretty accurate. The setup for their hot pot is really exciting - they have a conveyor belt that runs throughout the restaurant with their vegetable offerings. Each vegetable is led with a label sign so you know what they are. The meats, sauces, and other assorted offerings (sushi, kimchi, desserts, etc.) are served buffet style. Their meat selection was quite large and featured some relatively premium options. The ingredients were generally decent quality, but not top notch. That said, they still tasted good and we really enjoyed them. They also had a selection of boba drinks and other beverages - I ordered a brown sugar boba and it was really great! Highly recommend stopping by if you're looking to fill your craving for Asian food in Nashville.

Yelp
Excellent meal. If you never been always ask on how this location works. Grill/ or Hot Pot, we chose both. Hot pot burner selection on the side 6 is rolling boil, choose wisely. Schezwun Spicy I used for shrimp & dumplings, very good. The grill with the mat( great way to use this) less smoke, can bring down the exhaust hose. Great choices of meats. Will definitely be back sooner than later.
