Amazing Buffet !! The variety of food was impressive. Each and every dish was freshly prepared with perfect amount of spice level. Service was excellent. Highly recommending. Rating one of the best pakistani restaurant.

Google
Hands down the best Pakistani buffet in NJ! I've been trying Pakistani restaurants around NJ for 22 years, and nothing beats Shahnawaz. Their buffet is huge, and every dish has its own amazing flavor—it honestly reminds me of being back in Pakistan. If you’re craving real desi food, this is the spot!

Google
We went there for buffet. They have a variety of dishes including desserts. Food was good. Atmosphere is a bit dim and gloomy. Overall a good place if you are a good eater.

Google
Excellent Pakistani food so far I have ever had. Amazing items and so many options to choose. 100% worth the price. 😍 I live an hour far from ShahNewaz. But at least 1 time in a month I try to come here to enjoy their food! Big fan 🤎 🇧🇩

Google
Excellent experience with lots of different varieties of food. Everything this is delicious and fresh. Highly recommend it. I went there several times for the weekend buffet and whole family loved the food. Once I hosted a party there and it was amazing from ambiance, food and staff all were great. Will definitely go again.

Today we took a ride to Edison and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at the Shahnawaz Buffet. All of the foods were freshly prepared and flavorful. Had we not been trying to observe Lent, we would have had to limit ourselves, but what we had was delicious! Make the trip and be wowed! Lots of good food!

Google
Shahnawaz Palace has the best food and catering services. We had catering to Walima yesterday at our son’s wedding. The food was so tasty, all guests were so happy that Shahnawaz is here. The staff was great and professional all night. We are so happy we had them cater the event. Alhumdulillah all in all a wonderful time. Eee use to go for buffet on weekends but they can cater weddings and feed hundreds of people. They are great!!!Thanks again.

Google
Today we ended up in Edison, NJ and lunch at Shahnawaz Buffet. There is plenty of parking in the back. The buffet features a wide verity of freshly prepared and authentic dishes, spanning appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Highlights included halwa puri and haleem, among many others. The service was notably attentive, with plates promptly cleared and drinks quickly served. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience that I highly recommend.

Yelp
Today I had a chance to go and try shahnawaz with my family and friends I made the reservation for a table for 14 people and later confirmed it again that if they did arrange a table for me but the manager there was so rude and unprofessional he didn't have any idea how to talk to a customer he told me that he can't give me a table for 14 so we had to split and sit on teo different tables And the food was soo cold fish was so bad and chicken karahi it felt like it was some old one and it was so cold I would never visit again only because of that unethical and mad manager

Sarim S.

Yelp
If there was an option to give 0 stars, I would've. Shahnawaz Palace absolutely ruined my brother's wedding. We paid thousands for this venue--including $1000 just for a specific stage setup that was supposed to be the centerpiece of the event. What we walked into was a complete joke: a cheap, thrown-together setup that looked like it was built last minute with leftover scraps. It was nothing like what we agreed on. When we rightfully complained, the management was dismissive, and completely unprofessional. But the worst part? When we asked to adjust the price for their blatant failure, they threatened not to serve the food. Let that sink in--they held our wedding food hostage in front of hundreds of guests until we paid in full. Extortion, plain and simple. Oh and there wasn't enough food supply for the demand we had. This venue has no integrity, no class, and no business hosting anyone's big day. If you care about your event, your money, or basic human decency--stay far, FAR away from Shahnawaz Palace.

Yelp
I liked this place. We had a Groupon for it and saved some money. Their desserts were my favorite, along with the dishes in my pictures. The host was nice and the servers came by often. The ambiance isn't too warm with the ceramic tile floor, and it's not very vibrant, but go for the buffet!
google avatar

Ammarah A.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of Shahnawaz, as their buffet has numerous dishes. The star of the show is always the Puri and Chicken Biryani. The Gol Gappay & Papdi Chat are the best. Service is great too. They also have a kiddy section, with nuggets, fries, pizza bagels, noodles, etc. If you want to get the best buffet, I suggest you go by 11:30am (they open at 11). All the dishes will be so fresh, and beautifully garnished. I whole-heartedly recommend this restaurant. A must-try.

Yelp
Pakistani buffet offering a huge variety of dishes. There doesn't seem to be many Indian/ Pakistani buffets in the area (especially at dinner time), so glad that this choice exists. We have come here twice, the first time with a Groupon. The value with a groupon is amazing, but even the normal price is very reasonable. I believe kids 8 and under are half price. They offer a variety of proteins including lamb, goat ,chicken and beef. Some vegetarian options too. I was mainly eating lamb and goat dishes since those are less common, and found them to be very flavorful. There was also a leg of lamb which was a little on the dry side, but ok. Huge variety of deserts too. I'm not a huge South Asian desert person so can't really tell how these are compared to other places, but tasted great to me. Also they give lassi as part of the buffet... taste is not the best, but its fine. Its a large space, but is quite busy. The parking is not huge given the size of the restaurant, so you may need to park on the street.

Shan R.

Yelp
Very unprofessional and overcharged me. They told me 30 Dollars per person for buffet but charged me 10 dollars extra. Person dealing at counter was rude and mean. He seemed like he did not care for customers at all. I would strongly recommend not to give them business.
google avatar

Yelp
Totallly rude and selfish staff. I called to make a reservation for 3 people tonight for ramadan dinner and the manager says " we only taking 10 or more people ". "You can come by but we may not take you" God will answer you for this greed in your heart for declining a fasting person.

Yelp
Excellent service delicious and fresh food with wonderful ambiance. Best place to spend quality time with family and friends.

Sediqullah A.

Yelp
This person is very mean and doesn't know how to communicate effectively with customers. You should consider hiring someone younger who has better people skills and can manage their temper.

Yelp
The food is amazing everyone is kind the dessert is not to sweet just perfect and overall I love this place

Yelp
Overall Decline in the quality of food. Large selection does not mean delicious food. Service was good Outrageously priced. Not worth it.

Yelp
Presentation is alright. Prices okay. Food needs lot of improvements. Re-used oil was used in frying the food and I got sick after that. I did not eat anything else after the buffet. Another person in our group of 7 had a same issue. Very disappointed.

Yelp
Purchased a buffet from Groupon for 48$ for two people. I'm a vegetarian btw and knowing there would be limited options available for me , I accompanied my husband to this lunch buffet. In general the restaurant is pretty basic with lots of parking spaces, although it was tough to find a spot on Sunday afternoon. The buffet is available from 1pm to 4pm on Sundays. There is a manager who checks your Groupon at the front and allows you to be seated in a huge siting area with food tables on the front. They offer soda/water at the table. Their spread was extensive for meat eaters. Started off with chaat - Pani puri water with puffed puris , dahi badah and chickpea snack . Very different Pani puri from the regular but tasty nonetheless. Their spicy water was quite thick and pulpy. Did not particularly enjoy dahi wada, yogurt was less sweet and watery. I used the chickpea potato salad with the Pani puri as a filling. Headed to the main course options - there was Puri , aloo sabji, vegetarian noodles and chole. The puri was extremely greasy and the chole were poor in taste. Cooked well but the spices were definitely off. Dessert - Probably the only section I enjoyed for after the chaat. They had a huge huge selection of sweets. There was kheer, gulab jamun, lauki halwa, sooji Halwa, Rasmalai and others. We enjoyed gulab jamun, sooji halwa was delicious and kheer was warm and soothing. On the beverage counter there was lemon ice tea, mango lassi - more like artificially flavored mango milk and hot saffron tea . Overall it was okay. My husband enjoyed his lamb roast, some chicken entrees but it was hard to enjoy because of the grease. It definitely lacks some quality for not that cheap of a meal.

Yelp
Went on a weekend and they were serving buffet only, as per hostess. Fine, at $22 per person, you have unlimited plates of food and beverages. Unfortunately hubby and I only found only four vegetarian options. The vegetarian options very oily but very tasty. I was told butter was added so it's not vegan. Wasn't crazy for their naan either they were too heavy. Disappointed because I love naan. For this who love fish, lamb, beef, and chicken, this is a paradise for you. If you have kids or someone in the group wants more of a western cuisine, don't worry, this buffet has you covered. They also offer chicken nuggets, french fries, pizza bites, vast amounts of sweets at the dessert table such as chocolate glazed donuts, cookies, mango ice cream, etc. If you're into fruits, above the sweet desserts, there are plates of cantaloupe, watermelon, honeydew, and pineapples. I personally fell in love with the rose tea and papdi chaat. Yes, I consumed papdi chaat after my plate full of fruits as my desserts. LoL. Even our waitress giggled. ;) The service can be iffy but hubby and I had a wonderful waitress who was always on top of everything. She was exceptionally sweet and she kept telling me to eat more. The minute we finished anything, she's ask if she could clear the dishes away and she'd pour more water into our glasses. For me, because I chose to eat vegetarian, the dishes were limited and a bit too oily so that's three (3) stars. The service is five (5) stars and the rest of the entrees that were for non-vegetarians looked very good. Hence I have it four (4). The ambiance at the buffet was very nice and clean. Beautiful accent lights. Tables were a bit close and some tables wobbled. Would I go back? For me, it's a pass mainly because I didn't feel they offered enough vegetarian entrees. If I consumed more meat, definitely yes. Hope this helps. :)

Yelp
We went up Sunday for the Buffet and I could not believe the huge selection and the quality of the food. I am a vegetarian, and I totally enjoyed my food, but there were also choices of goat and fish and lamb and three or four chicken dishes. My son was very impressed with his chicken choices. Also, they included hot tea, and a full table of desserts. Over 20 to choose from. I cannot wait to go back!
google avatar

Xia B.

Yelp
Discovered on a Groupon, we visited this eatery on a very busy Sunday. It seems like maybe this was the after party to a spiritual ceremony or wedding. It was lively, crowded, loud, with kids running around. For those familiar with black cookouts, this was the Pakistani version of that. My friend and I loved it! We'll certainly be back. The food came out hot and fresh, with dishes gone within seconds of being served. I don't know the names of anything, just that I enjoyed nearly everything I ate. And don't get me started on the lovely women in their beautiful decorative gowns.

Yelp
On November 6 2022 I went there for buffet breakfast lunch. Most of stuff I couldn't eat after a bite and today early in the morning I got nausea vomiting with loose motions. Very bad experience Service was good and ambiance is acceptable. Used to be good place for Sunday brunch

Yelp
I have tried their ready to eat Indian (south Asian) food items from the freezer section of the south Asian grocery store and found it to be okay, so I figured I should try the weekend all you can eat buffet lunch at their banquet hall restaurant in Edison, NJ. Food variety - they have a good number of dishes on the buffet spread. However the variety in vegetarian entrees is limited. The buffet mainly focuses on meat based entree. There seemed to be some variety of vegetarian dishes on the starters including pani puri (self assembled), samosa, pakoras, dahi chaat items. And then the non veg items in the starters included chicken, lamb, and beef based items like kababas and fish pakora, and chicken nuggets (with fries which I imagine would be popular with kids). The entrees had some regular items like butter Chicken, and chicken Tikka. Taste - most of the food items are spicy (hot) as this buffet seems mainly focused on the native taste palate of the people of Pakistan. Subtle flavors is not something one would find in this spread. The food can get hot for some so the buffet also offers a variety of drinks which include canned sodas, some watered down mango laasi, tea and water. All of them accessible in small plastic glasses. The buffet also included some soup (sweet corn chicken) which was better tasting than most items. The buffet has an interesting spread of desserts and I managed to taste quiet a few of them. The spread included ras malai, gulab jamun, few types of barfi, rice pudding, mini donuts, cup cakes, flan, jellos, fruit trifle, chocolate pudding, etc. and none deserved a second helping (and I normally love south Asian sweets and desserts). Over all none of the food items were memorable. The dinning area is very cramped so getting around takes some effort. And the buffet line moves slowly as a lot of people seem to know each other and socially gather near the food tables to chat (since the sitting area is so cramped). This makes it hard to get around. The efficient cleaning staff clear your plates and glasses and silver ware even if you have food in them if you step away from your table for a couple of mins (even if you just went to grab some ketchup for the fries) and then you have to start with a fresh plate in the slow moving buffet line once again. Making the whole experience tiring. The host/manager doesn't seem very happy to see any customers when you enter... perhaps it's the crowd. And least I forget you have to pay for the meals before you enter and get allocated a table - perhaps they are are concerned that customers won't pay after they eat? The buffet is priced at $32 per person. Overall I didn't enjoy the quality of the food or the service and think the price is high given the overall experience, and there are much better alternatives in this part of NJ - hence my rating.

Sany I.

Yelp
Midiocore food. Let's see where to start: Shish kebabs- they had some sweet tangy BBQ sauce on them. If you have to eat a steak with sauce than it's not a good steak. You get the idea. Goat Korma- you could still smell the raw oil and also the spices were added late therefore wasn't cooked properly. Chicken Karahi- had no taste Nihari- again, no taste. The beef was boiled separately and then added to the nihari masala. As you bite into the meat you can smell the boiled beef and the spices has not penetrated. Chicken kabobs- Bland and dry The only two things were good in that place which are Okra and Haleem. It wasn't the best but good! They have lot of verity in food but mostly with mediocre taste. The Chef has long way to go..

Yelp
I came here on June 27th with my family since we were craving some Pakistani Buffet and the dishes really filled us up. Although I have noticed that food have become less spicy through the years, the food was still good. The staff were really kind and accommodating in helping us find seats and serving us drinks.

Yelp
This is the first Pakistani /Indian buffet I've ever been to. Every weekend, they serve a huge variety of curries, breads, biriyani, meats, vegetarian dishes, desserts and unlimited mango lassi. They even have a variety for kids and those who don't like don't South asian food, like pizza, wings, and burgers. You pay at the entrance and sit where ever you like. The servers are great, especially with kids! One time my kids and their friends were sitting on their own table and one of the servers attended to their needs. This has happened now than once - cleaning up spills, getting more water or Mango lassi. Not all the dishes are amazing, but some are better than others, and there is something for everyone. The weak part of the buffet is the dessert section. While there is a large variety, from gulab jamun, jalebi, rice pudding, rasgulla, ice cream and cake, I didn't love them. The pudding wasn't bad, it's the best of the much. If you want to try Indian /Pakistani cuisine I don't think you'd find a better place to do it. It's such a good value, especially if you go to Groupon and buy a certificate for 2 guests for $29. It's normally $20 per person and $10 for kids. I've seen people use 2 certificates when it is disallowed in the terms and conditions, but you're better off paying normal price for kids. The Shahnawaz banquet is also a wedding venue when not doing buffet, so there are lots of tables. When you are dining, they never rush you to finish, so it's a great place to catch up with friends and family. There isn't much ambience, but good variety of food, good service, good prices will have me coming back for sure.

Yelp
I have been down their street many times, and never even noticed that there is a restaurant at this location. I found this restaurant through Groupon. I forgot I had purchased the Groupon, and the Groupon was expiring. I called the restaurant to see if they would extend the expiration by one day. They said they could not do so because they would not get paid by Groupon. I have no idea if this is true or not, but in fact other businesses have extended expiration dates for me. That said, when I pulled up the Groupon today, I found that there is an option to extend the expiration as a courtesy. So I am not sure who to thank for the extended expiration date, but I was able to use the full value of the Groupon. Upon walking in, the person at the register immediately asked us if we had a Groupon. This is really the first time I have ever experienced a business that asked that question upon entry. I guess it was clear that we stood out from their regular patrons. This is the largest Indian buffet I have ever been to. I was quite impressed upon walking in and seeing the large selection and display. We are not experts in Indian or Pakistani food, but I thought the food was good while my husband felt it wasn't as flavorful as other places we've been to. Would also be nice if the food was more hot. So all that said, I enjoyed the variety. Drinks are also included. We came out very full. Not sure I would pay full price for the buffet, but it is certainly worthwhile to go with the Groupon (2 for $23). Our waitress was also very sweet - cleared our plates regularly, brought out drinks promptly.

Yelp
I came to this place for the first time in hopes to reserve a room for an event and had nothing but the worst customer service by the manager Arshad. He was extremely disrespectful to me and my wife and had no sense of mannerism. I have never experienced such arrogance and racism from a business. There are plenty of other beautiful venues within 10 minutes from here with the same prices, quality halal food, and great customer service. I would strongly recommend not to come here.

Yelp
Weekend Buffet with Groupon deal is Awesome & a Steal! - 5* Management & Environment - not organized and lacks customer service - 3* Big NO - don't come during festival season like Ramadan - food is Just OK , too crowded & not organized - 2*

Yelp
We had a groupon that was almost 50% off the original buffet price. So I think it was ok. But definitely not worth $24 for the buffet. The food was just okay. Food was salty. They have a lots of variety in the menu. In the meats, they have everything from lamb, goat, chicken, fish and beef. Service was excellent.

Yelp
Value: 10/10 Experience: 8/10 Taste: 10/10 Pakistani buffet with massive selection of flavorful food for a good price. One of the best buffets I have ever been to 100%. Value: I got a Groupon so it was $20 for 2 people. That is unparalleled in value given the selection and quality of their food. I can't describe how much you are getting here. I'd even considering $18 full price for this place. Experience: We had a party of 4 seated at a table for 8 so that was a bit odd. Some of the desserts also seemed a bit stale but you don't come here to eat cookies and pudding amiright? :) Taste: Every dish tasted unique and absolutely DELICIOUS. The spices are so fragrant and all the meats were moist. The naans were fresh and warm as well. So much praise for keeping such as massive selection fresh and warm.

Yelp
Tucked in among neighborhood houses, this banquet hall buffet serves a lot of surprises. The food selection is amazingly extensive, and they have good quality. Added with the decor and the service, it turned out to be quite a pleasant lunch (the lady serving us kept filing up our glasses with the delicious soda and/or rose tea). The food is fresh and abundantly refilled (e.g., there are 3 or more types of rice available) and has more of a restaurant- than a buffet-quality. Seriously, I think this banquet has the most selection of Indian/Pakistani sweets of all buffets I've ever been to! :D Saw some reviews on how they mistreated groupon coupon holders. While we didn't experienced that, upon presenting the coupon, they did tell us that the tip is required at 15% for 4 of us. So, ok, my rating is based on the food and the service, not the "coupon situation". The coupon did present an excellent deal though, especially given the volume of selection and the quality of food.

Yelp
We are originally from Toronto and were visiting my sister in Edison and they recommended going to this restaurant. It has a nice spread of Pakistani dishes and is open only on the weekend/holidays. I would highly recommend this pace and wish we had a restaurant like this in Toronto.

Yelp
We travelled all the way from Long Island to New Jersey just to get a taste of their weekend buffet and it was yummy! They have a spacious facility that serves as a wedding/event hall during the week and they offer a big buffet during the weekends. Although I have been to other buffets, their's had a wide range of dishes to choose from. Gol gappy? They have it. Lamb chops? Yep, I had those. BBQ? They've got plenty. Fancying ghulab jammuns? Ras Malai? Gajraila? They've got it. (Although their deserts were rather sweet). Best of all, they're not expensive given the quantity and quality of food that they offer!

Yelp
The best Pakistani buffet you can ask for. It is a heaven for your taste buds. Coming back again.

Yelp
One of the flop buffet places in Edison area. Last weekend when I was visiting my friend at New Brunswick we went to this place based on the recommendation of some of my ex-colleagues from Pakistan. I go to Pakistani places in NYC, however all of them are hole in wall places with not much attention to good presentation and hygiene but taste good. I was told that this place had best of both. Although the hygiene was good, the taste had tanked down. You have to pay before immediately as you enter and has to add tip right there and the options as 15, 20, 25% or no tip which I don't think anyone would select. I find this ridiculous as I am paying 20+ bucks for a subpar buffet. About food - veggie ppl, don't even think of this place. People who do not eat beef have only 2 chicken and 1 lamb dish and none of them were good. One my friend who is vegeterian punjabi and loves chaat thought the chaat sucked big time. Chicken Biryani is below par. The beef nihari and paya were good. The only savior here are the deserts which are decent and lots of them. Verdict - I am not visiting this place anymore. I recommend Mogul's buffet 10x times

Yelp
A friend and I decided to venture out to Edison using a Groupon for their lunch buffet At first I thought we were at the wrong place because it's in a residential area - it's actually in a house! The feel was as if we were at an Indian party! Family style seating. Huge array of appetizers, entrees and deserts. Very friendly staff. Familiar with some food but not everything. Was a very educational experience. Totally inexpensive even with no Groupon. They close at 4 on Saturday and Sunday which the only buffet days. Very casual atmosphere.

Yelp
Walked in on a Saturday around 2:15 pm with a party of two. Told that there was a 25 min wait, with no waiting area so they took my number and told me to wait in my car. Waited in the car for 30 mins with no phone call. Went back inside to wait another 20 mins before a table was made. I figured Saturdays were a busy day so i expected the wait. The only thing I did not like was most of their tables were set for 4 people or higher which made the wait a little longer for two people. Also noticed that you can make reservations, which I will be doing my next visit! Don't want to wait 50 mins for a buffet again. Finally a table! Set down and immediately got on line. They had everything u could imagine! Their goat and naan was to DIE for! I also like how they allow you to put whatever it is u like in side the simosa dough. Also tried a mango lassi and pistachio ice cream for the first time! Amazing! At the end it was worth the wait. Only thing I would change is the seating arrangement and the organization of how tables are called for people waiting verse reservations. Definitely going back again, with a reservation this time. :) Also had a groupon, 2 for $19!!!

Yelp
Excellent presentation, great service and delicious food. The BEST Pakistani Food I have ever had. The manager/owner was very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. I would nominate this restaurant as the Best restaurant in the whole USA and Canada. Well done

Arati P.

Yelp
Horrible food. Eating at this place was a nightmare in broad daylight. 22$ buffet for this quality of food is a rip off. Just reduce the number of items in the buffet to half and serve better food. So many options to eat but none good enough. Plates and spoons were very dirty. It looked like some of them were not even washed and were very greasy. The only things I could eat well were the mango lassi and ice cream.
google avatar

Yasna Z.

Yelp
Did not like the place a lot. I set a very high expectation after reading all the positive reviews but i was disappointed right at the moment i entered the restaurant. Table covers were dirty than expected. Chairs were very dirty and uncomfortable. There were variety in foods which was exciting but i did not enjoy their tastes. I only loved loved the rasmalaye.. it was yummy. They put so much hard work in preparing all the foods but I hope they consider hygiene as their first priority. Change the dirty table covers and get a better and comfortable furniture.

Yelp
WORST service I have ever seen. We paid at the beginning (which we never should have done). Waiter spilled a whole pitcher of coke ALL over my husband. Manager/owner refused to refund us or do anything about the situation. He wasn't apologetic or anything. We had to tell them to come clean the floors...it's as if they had no common sense. After the spill, no one even came back to our table. And on top of all this the food wasn't even good. Horrible horrible experience.
google avatar

Zoheb K.

Yelp
Stay Away!!! Worst guy on the table reservation desk. I think it was the owner himself. I can't even imagine about the place if the owner himself was that rude. We were group of 8. We had Groupon deals. As soon as he heard that we have Groupon deal he made his mind that he is not going to serve us. He said that he will not give us table together because we have Groupon deal. Worst reason ever. Bydway, he had at least 5-6 big tables available. He asked us to stand on the side and wait. I politely asked again about the table after waiting for a while. He gave me pathetic look and asked to stand on the side. He then started misbehaving with my friend. We had 3 kids with us. He made all of us stand there and misbehaved. We then decided that it's not worth eating there after all that humiliation. Will never visit that place and wouldn't recommend anyone. Stay away from those rude people.

Yelp
Main attraction is the weekend buffet. Tremendous variety of mutton, chicken, and vegetable dishes. Recommend the freshly made 'pooris' (fried flaky flatbread) with the chickpeas and potatoes. Price wise it's moderately up there but you will end up eating equivalent of two meals there. (You will probably be too full to eat the following meal of the day) Nice BBQ/tandoori chicken and kebabs. They also have 3-4 chinese food options which I did not sample and probably are best left for another day. Good selection of desserts. The pink tea was rather flavorless but regular "chai" was quit good. You have to be prepared for a full onslaught on the senses ( fragrant food, loud background banter, and depending on when u are there, a traffic jam of people) The tables are arranged in a peculiar dining hall style so mobility can be tricky when the place is packed.

Yelp
Overcrowded and overpriced. Went for Eid buffet with my husband and 2 kids. After waiting for more than an hour we got a table for four. Buffet was suppose to be $22/ adult and half price for kids but the guy at reception desk charged me $22 / kid ( age 8 y and 10 y). After adding gratuity I paid $110 for 2 adults + 2 kids. It was a pretty pricey buffet. My kids could not eat much as everything was so oily and spicy. Very average quality of food. Plenty of options but quality of food was mediocre. Mango lassi was watery and desserts were also very average. No one was attending the table and the service was very bad. The place was so overbooked it felt like a fish market.I regretted coming here with my family.

Yelp
Oh gosh...the best Indian buffet food ever. Everything in the buffet is finger licking good. They serve everything from Naan to butter chicken and goat. The waitress and staff are very friendly and super attentive. This place gets packed due to the food and price per person. This is one of my favorite places to dine.

Yelp
I love their buffet, decently priced 20$ plus tax. They have a lot of dishes including lasagna and french fries. It gets loud and chaotic. Dont expect great service or ambience but the food is definitely good

Yelp
This is their new location at pioneer blvd, the place is clean and great views from the windows. Plenty of food choices and the place got packed. You can find all types of meats, halwa puri , dal , nehari , haleem. Its on large scale. Decor is superb. This is a vast improvement . Parking gets full after 2pm thus better arrive early .

Yelp
Had a groupon for a weekend buffett. Firstly, the receptionist (I believe he's the owner) was rude and the food mediocre at best. Don't even get me started on hygiene or service..Worst ever! Save your money and go to one of the Indian places on Oak tree Rd. Final Verdict: Enter at your own risk!!

Yelp
My Muslim friend had brought me for Ramadan dinner a week ago. All said and done, the food wasn't bad. It was the customers that were bad. The place was overcrowded. They should raise the price for a better experience for those willing to pay. It was so overcrowded that people were shoving their fellow people just to get food. I understand if you are fasting but literally shoving, and dropping plates is just not ok. The crowd is what will make my friend stay away from this place now.

Yelp
Came back to Shahnawaz for an Eid Buffet, I am extremely satisfied with their huge variety of food buffet and it was good too. Whole family enjoyed the buffet and and a huge improvement from my last visit.
