Shroom burger is pretty unique. Nice crunch. The coffee is a bit let down. Strong acidic undertone and bitter without any aroma. For close to $4 for a small cup, I would expect better. Any McD does a better job.

The girl named Sunita working here displayed extreme incompetence. she decided to completely ignore me and let two people cut me in line and then go on to accuse me of cutting the line and refused to serve me till I went to the back. Fortunately another coworker was kind enough to see I was too tired to argue after a long flight and took my order promptly. Food was overpriced but definitely the best option in the terminal and the wait time was understandable. I have deep respect for everyone working here but the level of unintelligence Sunita displayed only added to the already long wait time and does nothing good for the other hardworking people here

I see a lot of complaints but I always enjoy my meal here. Better food option than others in the terminal.

Not sure why all the bad ratings.. but we had a good experience at this Shake Shack.. the location was pretty busy as the pizza next to it was closed but the line moved very quickly and I like that they serve beer at this location. The burgers were great as always.. I'm not a fan of Shake Shack's fries.. but service was quick and lots of seating at this place. I thought it was very good.

Easy to order…. Long wait to get your food. Everyone is just on top of everyone to get their food. The area to eat needs attending, chairs everywhere and not organized. I noticed their customer service sucks. They have the food ready they call out a name and if no one answer the shrug their shoulders and keep moving lol wth?! Anyways food… best burgers I’ve had at the airport wow!!! The fries crispy and fresh. It is a little on the pricey side. I ordered 2 shack burgers, 2 fries and an honest kids apple juice…$29.07 😩 it was worth it the the food was delicious.

The "cheese fries, topped with cheese sauce" cost an extra $1.10, but it was just fries with a tiny plastic cup of processed cheese sauce on the side. Overall, the food is overpriced and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you are in a hurry because the food prep is very slow.

Not sure why the bad rating as our experience was good. The food was good and the wait time felt the same as the time you would wait at non-airport locations for gourmet burgers. It is pricey for small portions though. We ordered two Shack Burger, two 'Shroom Burger, and one fries and our subtotal before tax was $39.59 (about $10 per person). The line starts at the back right, you order, they give you a device that will vibrate and light up when your food is ready, and you pick up the food on the left counter. I think our food took maybe 10 minutes. My mom is vegetarian and she said the Shroom Burger was good. I saw people line up for this place more than other food options. Location is Terminal 2 Departures after Security and to the right of Flash Fire Pizza.

I am not sure why all the bad reviews but we had good burgers here. It was a bit different from city shake shacks, but still good quality meat and very fresh fries. Honestly one of the best fast foods I had in any airport. I took out 1 star because of the sitting area which was not cleaned and some tables were dirty.

Solid option for hamburgers, fries and a shake. We enjoyed double shack burgers, with fries and a strawberry shake and it hit the spot. The service was quick and efficient. Tables are difficult to come by so plan to eat at the seats of your departure gate. I want to give this a 5 star review but I will be a little more critical and award them a solid 4.7 stars rounded down. Thank you and happy Holy week.

This is a review for the Ford Lauderdale shake Shack. You can actually walk in there with your boarding pass, order food, and walk back out. So if you arrive really early to the airport and security is not ready to let you through, you can still go in here to get food. We ordered the shack burger and the chicken burger. The burgers are good and delicious. However the burgers are a dollar more expensive than outside locations. However the server was kind and gave us free plastic cups for water.

The line moved quickly with fast friendly service. My food was quickly served and was hot and delicious. My Shroom burger was just as advertised with lots of melted cheese stuffed inside a crisp and crunchy portobello mushroom cap. The fries were crisp and hot and with the meal coming in under 20.00 it was a bargain for dinner at the airport. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a delicious quick bite while waiting for your flight in Terminal 2 gates D.

Location is super busy. From the time you line up to actually getting your order will take around 30 minutes. Food is freshly made and delicious. I will take a Shake Shack Burger anytime vs other options in Terminal 2.

I was flying out of Fort Lauderdale and decided to stop at Shake Shack before my flight. There's not a lot of food options in the airport so Shake Shack was pretty busy and it took a while for me to get my order. In terms of food, it was pretty standard Shake Shack choices and seemed pretty close to the regular menu. I got a shack burger and a black and white shake. Both were solid and hit the spot for lunch before my flight! There was a decent amount of seating and outlets here as well.

I had never gotten food from a shake shake before so thought that I'd try it out while waiting for my flight out of ft lauderdale. There were a number of people waiting for their orders and it seemed like they were there for some time (I heard comments such as 'I only have 30 minutes for lunch'). I stood at the counter for 15 minutes without having my order taken so I left.

This is located in the Fort Lauderdale airport. It is near gate eight for Delta. They have beer and wine plus the usual shake shake burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwich and fries. It was 11:30 so quite busy. It took about 15 minutes for my name to be called to grab my bag of food. The burger comes with cheese, lettuce and tomato, as well as shake sauce. It was good. The fries were surprisingly crispy and good. It was busy and a little loud, but it is the airport!

Picked up burgers fries and drinks for four. Line moved quickly. Only waited around 5 minutes for our food. Food was fresh and tasty. Very expensive though at $80.

This particular location is inside the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. My husband and I ate brunch here while we were waiting for our flight. We thought that the employees performed their jobs well. I appreciated that the cashier was patient while I spent a minute to decide what I wanted to order. She accurately rang up our order and processed our payment. The employees in the back correctly cooked our foods. Here are our reviews for our foods: Egg White Light - 4 stars - This breakfast sandwich contained egg white, cheese, arugula, and sauce. The ingredients were fresh, and I thought that the sandwich tasted good. ShackBurger - 4 stars - This burger contained two beef patties, cheese, lettuce, sauce, and at my husband's request no tomato. We thought that the burger tasted decent. Crinkle-cut fries with cheese - 3 stars - My husband and I thought that these fries tasted OK. Strawberry Shake - 5 stars - This milkshake contained several hundred calories so was obviously not healthy, but it tasted delicious.

Best food in airport but at least a 30 minute wait for good after ordering, so be sure you have time before your flight. Employees are friendly and the menu is extensive for an airport restaurant.

So I'm at the airport and this is the only place open. Very limited on the food they have. It is breakfast food at least. It is pretty relaxed for being in the airport. Now as far the food it is not to bad for airport. I'm enjoying the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich, with hash browns. For the service what the hell is wrong with everyone. Don't be mad cause that's what you choose to do for a living. Own that shit like no other. All these dam people thinking they deserve something, you earn it man. Work hard for it, work for what you want. It is sad day! What has happen to our society.

The food was hot and tasty!!! Hot fires will forever be a winner! The service was good...My order was captured incorrectly, but the manager on duty made it right immediately!!! I appreciate her for stepping in to address the mishap - by doing so, she won the heart of a customer. Thank you!!!!

I will start will I paid 55 for three meals. I know it's the airport but that's insane. The food wasn't worth what I paid. The burgers and chicken sandwich was just okay. We only ate here because it's what was available and our flight wasn't leaving for another two hours. Would I go back? If I absolutely have to because it's in an airport. The staff was great and I didn't experience any issues.

It's ok. I do not recommend buying a beer here since the cashier does not know how to pour a proper beer. If you get cheese fries expect a cup of cheese with your fries (not poured over your fries). Burger is 6/10.

Had dinner at the shake shack in the Fort Lauderdale airport while waiting for my flight out. Despite the long line at the airport service was really quick and food came out quickly. Burgers were hot and fresh and fries were crispy and piping hot. Food was really delicious. But the best part? That black and white shake. Oh my God! Shake shack claims they make their own frozen custard and I really believe it. The shake was like crack! Apparently it's chocolate fudge sauce spun with their housemaid vanilla, frozen custard. It literally taste like a black and white cookie and it's so good. I wish I would've ordered three of them! For being in an airport this location was on point!

Terrible service, the employees were very mean. Just expect to be ignored and if you ask for anything it will be the biggest pain of their existence.

Airports are always stressful and chaotic. This Shake Shack location definitely fits the same vibes but still delivers good food. I planned to eat in the Fort Lauderdale Airport without realizing the lack of options. Truthfully, I wouldn't have went to Shake Shack had there been something better but there really just wasn't. I got a normal shake shack burger with fries and a shake. Everything tasted normal. It tasted how the food has always tasted as Shake Shack which is something I can appreciate, honestly. It is not the greatest food but it is decent food. The fries were okay; I think they would taste a bit better if they weren't crinkle cut. Also...why does this place not have ranch? Do they not realize how much I need ranch? They don't have anything better than ketchup so unfortunately I just had to bear with the ketchup. My shake took probably 30 minutes to come out. I went back up to the counter and asked what happened to it and they got it to me right away. The staff was working extremely hard despite the chaos and they were still really nice to me. While I can't say much because I didn't try the rest of the restaurants in this terminal, I would definitely recommend Shake Shack while you're waiting for your flight!

If you are in this airport, go to this restaurant about 30 minutes before you board... This lady was so bored to take our Orders, and the lady screamed at peoples names. The hotdog was cold and the lady did not put straws in the bag when she said it was put in the bag. In the restaurant, there was food that was cold sitting on the table it was 39$ for my food. Ridiculous.

Rudest service I have ever had ordering food. I would never go here again. It is difficult to see the menu until you get close to the counter and the person taking my order berated me for not knowing what we wanted and made my daughter cry.

We all know and love Shake Shack and it's remarkable that the quality of the food is so high and consistent, given it's huge presence. The food at this location is as consistently good as any other. That is where any comparison to another SS experience ends. This location often has wait times of 20+ minutes, which is extremely problematic for an airport option that's supposed to be quick. They need to increase efficiency, rethink their staff (who can never be bothered to hurry or speed things up for the customers), and probably need to put some pressure on the manager for missing the Shake Shack pleasant experience altogether. Although this is an anomaly, I'm sure, the staff today broke out into a fight in front of everything waiting for food. It was so incredibly unprofessional and unsettling. They were yelling profanity curse words and many of us thought a full blown fist fight was about to happen. Shake Shack, this location desperately needs your immediate attention.

It's unbelievable that there are so few options for a fresh or healthy breakfast in this busy Delta terminal. Had to settle for shake shack and while the coffee was good and hot there was no real fresh milk of any kind, only coffee mate. Front line seems pretty out of it, screwed up my order, took the buzzer and walked away, gave my food to someone else, didn't apologize, didn't care. There's a tiny pickup window through which an accumulation of customers waits for their food or pleads their case for a redo on their orders which were also incorrectly executed. Bummer.

So this is one of the very few good options around D gates at FLL. The line to order was not long when I went but the food took a while to come out. I am not sure if they were understaffed or just not trained well. I had a chicken shack and it was good. However I definitely felt the chicken was cooked differently at this location for some reason. If you don't have that much time, then avoid! If you have like 2 hours like I did, then you will be fine.

I am a "Shake Shack" junkie!!!! Just love the juicy, sloppy, delicious cheeseburgers, and among the best hot and crispy fries in the nation. Sometime I get lemonade, sometimes a beer!!! Always good! So excited about the Fort Lauderdale Airport locations as I fly through there often!!!

My flight was delayed for four hours in the fort lauderdale airport. It was around 12 pm and I had been at the airport since 7 am. My flight was around 1 and it landed at 3 so I wanted to have lunch before flying. I was traveling with 2 of my co workers and we went for the healthiest option. When we got to the line there was a lady in front of us and the cashier was telling her that she was ordering too much food. I found that a little bit strange. Then when we got to the counter we proceeded to order with the cashier. We wanted two single cheese burgers with lettuce instead of buns and one double burger with no cheese with lettuce instead of buns. First time around, the cashier only charged us for one of the single cheese burgers. We noticed because the bill was lower than what we were expecting. So automatically we told the cashier and she added the second burger. We waited a couple of mins and we got our order. When we got to the table we realized that we had been given one cheeseburger with buns and one cheeseburger with lettuce. At that point we didn't feel like going back to the counter so I had the regular burger which was not the worst thing that could ever happen to me but I was trying to make the healthier option. I also noticed that there was a lot of dust in the dining area. There is construction nearby but it is a little gross when you notice a lot of dust at the place that you are eating.

Honestly not the best option for food at FLL but the service is surprisingly faster compared to the other options. Good isn't that appetizing but it gets the job done somewhat.

Food tasted ok. However , lines were long and slow. Watched staff member on phone drag leaking trash bag across floor dripping all the way, then continued on phone dragging out a caution sign to place by her wet trail, but did not clean it up. The tables were not wiped down for at least an hour while we were there. Lazy employees except one hardworking girl behind the counter. The floor was sticky and dangerous. Just don't go there unless you are starving, patient and don't mind watching bad employees not working.

Y'all, it's decent airport food. Prices are mildly hiked up, there aren't limited-time shakes, the quality is slightly reduced, and the line can be long. But, man, is this the best airport food option by far. If you can't decide if this location's burger is good, then I dare you to try the airport's Shula Burger on the Allegiant terminal. 'Cause as far as FLL Airport food goes, this Shake Shack is a blessing.

Poor service....slow. My burger was sitting on the counter, and No one came to my table to deliver my cold burger. The burger itself was very greasy and tasteless. Overpriced and lousy food. Why do people go here??? I will not go back and not recommend Shake Shack.

Shake Shack delivers when it comes to comfort food, serving hamburgers, hot dogs and delicious perfectly creamy milkshakes and cones, all are made with real ice cream, so you can taste the difference. My first encounter with Shake Shack was right over the Brooklyn Bridge. Brings back many good memories. Service is friendly. Ambiance is interesting in how Shake Shake's decor is made from recycled materials.

Amazing how many layers of negatives from this FLL location. The cashier took her sweet time to eventually get to the next person with such an attitude as if I was bothering her... her only job is to take orders at the register and she acts like I'm interrupting her rest time as she leans against the wall to take my order is the laziest fashion. Then the food comes out and the meat isn't even cooked all the way.. no sauce just a dry burger that's undercooked. What a waste of money. I just threw it away. Save your money and eat chips. You'll have a way better experience all around.

The. Worst. I would avoid this location no matter how much you like shake shake experiences of the past. The people working clearly do not like their customers or even remotely try to get an order correct. And good luck walking up and asking for the receipt to match the order. Wow.

Horrible experience when then accidentally erase the order board then argue because they are processing orders 20 past your number. Hotdogs should not take 25 minutes. Go to the pizza place instead next time.

Very limited food choices in terminal 1 gates D6-D9. I've never had Shake Shack before. Ordered two single Shack Burgers 2 crinkles cuts and two bottles of Coke. The burger was really good. Very juicy and great flavor. The crinkle cut fries were crispy but could have used more salt. I felt really bad for the young lady taking orders. Dealing with grumpy people wanting their order now. One lady upset she waited on line for a shake and the machine is not working. They did have two signs up but they really needed one up where the line begins. It was hard to see taped to the order board. Waited in line probbly a total of 30 min. But it was actually worth it especially since all we had to eat this morning was toast with grape jelly. Give people a break and be nice.

Though Shake shack was a welcomed addition to the sad selection of restaurants in this terminal, the long lines, slow preparation and poor execution was quite the disappointment. We waited in line for over 15 minutes. There were only two cashes and only of the two accepted cash. After ordering (1 hamburger, 1 cheeseburger and a fry), we waited another 10-15 minutes for our meal. It came out cold. Very limited seating area around the restaurant. Burgers were ok. Nothing extraordinary for 16$ usd. But definitely better than the previous restaurants. Overall, quite meh

So management. As you know, this place makes you a lot of money. I find it completely unnecessary for you to tolerate a staff that is indifferent or rude to customers. Unforced error on your part. At least tell them to smile or say hello or thank you.

I have requested the guys to help me find a veg burger and ended up receiving the cheese burger with beef on top.of it. The guy was so rude rather being courteous. I dint find the burger to be tasty as they claim. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place for the price vs value. Waste of money. Sorry!

Food took very long and of course it was the wrong order when we got it. Don't eat here!

After hearing so much about this place, my son and I decided to give it a go. Royally disappointed. Not sure how they always have lineups. I'm giving 2 stars because the service was really good and the lemonade was good. Otherwise the food was pretty bad. The burgers were very dry and hard to swallow. That moist burger patty that's dripping with juices, which I was hoping for, was not the case. The fries were cold, dry and very salty. My son never eats ketchup with his fries and this was the first time I'd seen him use ketchup for his fries. Overall disappointment and will definitely not be going back. Still looking for that burger joint that will make us run back. Royal failure.

I was in the mood for a shake and guess what? They don't do shakes even though it's in the menu. Fries were cold. They've been sitting there for 20 minutes. Took 15 mins to order and 20mins for the food to come out. I almost missed boarding time. How is this place allowed to function? Shake shack management sucks balls here.

The Airport Shake Shack should be called the abysmal Scoop Shack. They don't have Shakes. They are "all out of shakes" but they have "scoops". So you can get a scoop of ice cream but they can't make a shake. They are also out of Mayo for their hamburgers. And the employees were extremely rude and completely unsympathetic. They burger was good and the fries were good but very small. Visited here on Friday night, Feb 10, 2023 at 7:20pm.

Ok the lines were hella long and the menu (airport) was limited soooo what the heck we decided to try it...Wait for it.... it was ok definitely NOT worth $16 plus dollars for 2 single Shack burgers with 1 order of plain fries geesh! Airport prices I guess. It was decent glorified Wendy's burger (there I said it). I was hungry forgot to snap a photo ‍ But it was freshly cooked and good overall but Not worth the price.

I ordered 2 single hamburgers and 2 regular fries. It took 20 mins to get my food and when i finally started eating i found a hair in my food and it wasn't mine. After getting delay after delay and $23 we wanted something good to eat and this wasn't it. I nicely went to the counter and asked the lady (who had an attitude already) for a refund and she only wanted to refund me the money for the one burger on top of arguing that the hair was mine (i was the only person to handle my food besides them and my hair is clearly blonde not jet black) so the manager comes over thankfully and resolves the issue nicely and refunds my money. The wait and money was not worth it. Even after waiting my food was cold and poorly prepared.

I've never heard of a Shake Shack before and I only came here and waited in line for about 30 mins because I was waiting on a plane flight. The burger and fries were too good to post!

Lots of things where out and all they had were two types of burgers. I ordered a smokeshack. I waited did close to 25 minutes did the order to be incorrect. No bacon and the incorrect sauce altogether. It was the most disappointing burger I've had in life.
