Shake Shack Review - Century City - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Shake Shack is home to long lines and the burger New Yorkers think is better than a Double Double Animal Style. Whether or not you agree with that assessment, these are certainly the best burgers in Century City, even if they are inside the mall. While it’s fairly hard to go past a Double Shack Burger (with cheese fries if it’s been a truly terrible day), the Chick’n Shack is a close runner-up." - Jess Basser Sanders

Amazing shakes and ice cream, will have to come back to try the food when I get the chance. Very clean environment and the employees are polite. Can't wait to return.

The famous burger comes to the Burbank downtown area. A free parking garage nearby and about 3 minutes' walking distance. The restaurant is in wooden decoration with multiple ordering machines. I suppose there might be lack of labor so that all the staff are busy here. There are many customers at the rush hour of Saturday evening dinner time as I came. The limited Korean BBQ burger is great as is the spicy sauce with the traditional cheese, crispy onion and the beef!

I didn't have a good experience this time around when I came to Shake Shack this morning to use my T-mobile Tuesday coupon. I tried to place my order through the mobile app but it kept crashing after I put in the promo code. So I had to do it on their website, also keep in mind you can't place your order ahead of time if it's not within their store hours. When I arrived to the store, the email said I would receive a text when my order is ready for pickup but I never got the text so I just walked to the pick up area for my order which was just sitting there. I asked for napkins and ketchup on my order details but all I got was 2 ketchup packets. Good thing I have a ketchup bottle and napkins at home. The fries are amazing like always but I thought the shackburger meat was way too thin especially if you get it protein style because the buger will look tiny. Some of the lettuce they used to wrapped my protein style burger didn't look good either, it was dark green instead of light green so I removed it to avoid having a bad reaction. It's pretty pricey if you come here so just keep that in mind compared to other burger place. Would I come back here, probably once a year but not a weekly place or monthly place for me. This location parking is at the structure around here or street parking if you can find one. The only staff interaction I had when I came to pick up my order was just telling them my name for my order and they handed it to me.

Google
The burgers here are better than Five Guys but still not quite as satisfying as In N Out. Ordered their classic Shackburger. Quality matched the price but I was not particularly impressed. Would return in the absence of a better alternative.

Google
The staff is friendly and helpful. The food has been consistently good. I tried the truffle burger which was okay but not really good enough that I'd order it again. The crinkle fries were so-so and not worth ordering again. Their hotdog is very tasty, and their custard is delicious.

Google
Big disappointment today SS. Chicken sandwiches are a gamble, consistency seems to be a problem industry wide. One of the best chicken sandwiches I've had came from a SS but today's was emaciated, stringy and a soggy dog, yuk! The new "parmesan truffle fries" were gross too, like grocery store fries you cook in the oven then try to spruce up and fail. They gave a heavy greasy mushroom gravy to dip in but the fries are so pathetic and mushy they just kind of smear in the goopy grossness. The space is nice and the staff were awesome! Clean bathrooms. We drove out of our way for this? Insanity!

This was my first meal after hoping off my very long flight and my first time trying shake shack, I must say that I was extremely impressed. I had a very amazing experience at this location. I ordered the new veggie burger, it was so delightful. Also the customer service and the food was amazing!

Google
The battle over the best burger in America continues. However, I’m gonna say, it’s not shake shack. Their burgers are good, but for the price, I’ll pick other things. This location has plenty of parking and plenty of tables. The burgers are good, but I’ve had better. The fries were ok, maybe under seasoned. We also opted for the buffalo fries, and they were over seasoned. But again, ok at best. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, while it was good, it just felt like a snack. That’s my biggest gripe, all these burgers feel like slightly bigger sliders. For the price there’s many other burgers with bigger serving size and better tasting.

Yelp
Kind of hate how the ordering is now all digital. That's my one boomer complaint. We came around 1pm on a weekday, and it wasn't crowded at all so we got our food fairly quickly. I ordered their Truffle Burger special, I think it's a limited seasonal item? It looked SO voluminous in their photo, but the actual burger was nowhere near that LOL. As to be expected with fast food. Taste wise, it was great though. No complaints here. But honestly, burgers are just overpriced these days for what they give you still. My dogs LOVE the Poochina from here. The custard is delicious for pups and humans. I'm not sure why their biscuit is always rock hard. I literally have to soak it in water overnight so that my dogs can eat it lmao.

Yelp
The shack stacks that FLAVA! It smacks and has that great "gooey" characteristic the melty cheese provides and that's all you can ask for. Shout out to Libby for her upbeat and laid back attitude as well as great customer service...she helps make the experience that much better. Can I say though the price of fastfood has gone up significantly and honestly, not 100% sure it's THAT worth it to pay SO much to eat so unhealthy these days so let's consider tonight's guilty pleasure a special but rare occasion that will most likely will be more limited in time. Enjoy it while you can afford it folks.

Yelp
Realistically the food comes out hot and fast. I've gone to a handful of shack shack and this is my favorite burger location. Not too crowded. I know people complain that for a fast food burger, it shouldn't be this expensive, but honestly it's a gourmet burger!! Better than most other burgers I've had. Yes, it's a tad small, but its packed with flavors!

Yelp
Customer service was on point. Excellent manager, he's naturally welcoming and kind. I brought my family here and we were so impressed with the quick service and amazing quality.

Yelp
This was my first time eating at this location. My first time trying Shake shack was about 10 years ago at the Glendale location with my daughter. What caught my eyes today was the picture of the burger outside by the corner when I was about to cross the street. I was craving burger yesterday and I came acrosd this spot today, a new burger. This is their new Korean burger. It has their special korean sauce with chopped up green onions and fried onions. The taste was like umami. I couldn't make out the exact taste of the sauce. To me, it was a mixture of bbq, mayo and soybean? I'm not sure, maybe look further into the sauce or what they put in it. I just couldn't make out what the flavor was like, but I finished it!! Lol. The green onions and fried onions gave a nice crunch to the burger. The ambiance is very clean and open with very high ceiling. It's refreshing to eat here. And their bathroom was very clean. I'd recommend coming out to try it for yourself. The staffs are very friendly here. Thank you Shake Shack team!! I had a memorable lunch.

Yelp
I love going to Shake Shack, the burgers are so good, they taste fresh and the toppings are fresh too. I think they took away the non dairy chocolate shake they had for a while, maybe for the best lol. This one in Burbank is clean, well kept, cool area. And unlike another one I went to in LA, the service here is friendly and nice.

Yelp
First time having Shake Shack and first time having smash burger. Ordered the Shack Stack which adds the portobello mushroom + muenster/cheddar into the normal cheeseburger. Added pickles and onions as well. Initial impressions are that the mushroom 'patty' was so small in comparison to the burger. There was slight crisp to the breading but the mushroom itself was bland. The muenster/cheddar combination was gooey and plentiful; paired well with the fries. 5/10 The patty itself didn't have the crispness I expected from all the smashburger hype. Also not very flavorful either. 6/10 The single tomato and single sliver of lettuce was sad. 2/10 Pickles were very solid, if I am able to ask for more, it would be perfect as it cuts the heaviness of the meal. 10/10 Fries were very solid, I never really get crispy crinkle cut fries but theirs were nice. Could've been salted a little more. 9/10 Ordered at the kiosk and they dropped it off at my table. Service was friendly. Place was clean. Price: $18.17 for this, yeah no thank you. I'll go to a local mom and pop instead. Overall: not bad for a chain, but the price is quite high for what you get.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting a Shake Shack and I LOVED it!!! Manager Liz is a complete rock star. I had problems ordering in the app and she was so kind. The Mushroom Burger with cheese fried inside of the patty was absolutely AMAZING!! I normally hate mushrooms and it tasted nothing like what I was expecting. I ordered my food to go and the fries are so delicious, perfectly crispy, salted and flavorful that I finished half walking to my car and the other half before I got home. The restaurant is clean, spacious enough so you don't feel cramped and the staff are really nice. They make you feel like a VIP. Your stomach will be so happy because their food is really unique. I've never eaten anything like this burger before and really loved it.

Yelp
If I recall correctly it's been a while since I ate in Shake Shack. We use to go here pre pandemic and I notice a couple of new things on the menu. Of course, the contactless kiosk is a new addition too but if you're paying cash like what we did you still need to go to the cashier to have that option. Same yummy burgers on soft buns freshly made as you order but the price is the main difference from years ago. I like the frozen hot chocolate shake due to the fact it doesn't leave a bitter aftertaste and not too sweet it pairs perfectly with my sroom burger. The bacon cheese fries is always on our favorite list cheese sauce is so cheesy in every bite. There are 2 TV on walls to entertain patrons. They have friendly and helpful staff. Several seating areas available.

Yelp
First timer at shake shack and found it very interesting that you place your order on iPads. No need to wait in line. They bring you out the food to your table. I tried the cheeseburger and my husband had the chicken sandwich. We both thought it was great and went back the next day just to make sure it was as good as we thought. It tastes a little healthier than regular cheeseburgers fast food. The Korean fries were good too. Didn't like the milkshake so much but, definitely great burger spot.

R C.

Yelp
Don't look at the pictures...not actual size. Your burgers will be half as big. Overall a very underwhelming experience.

Yelp
Got to use a kiosk to order and take my time to decide. Customizations were easy. Food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious.

Yelp
At the corner of the street, hard to miss. Parking is available a short block away in the parking structure or right next to the restaurant with limited slots if you are lucky. There are self processing stations where you can order off a tablet. If you like to do it old school, they have a counter to order in person. When the order is ready, they will either bring it to you or call your name. Simple and sweet. The burgers are fantastic, some would say that in-n-out is better... I would argue... but to each their own. The patty is thicker and the bread just melts in your mouth. The cheese fries.... those are a must add-on. They change their drinks seasonally and I love that. The yuzu orange is great if you like the citrus-fruity type of refreshment. Would recommend and try. If you like in-n-out, I think this will sway you to liking burgers even more.

Yelp
Absolute trash, avoid like the plague. The sauce is weird, crispy onions soggy af, bun in bad shape, completely drenched in that god awful sauce. Do yourself a favor and just give the nearest bum your money before entering this s*hit show

Yelp
Dessert and a show! I stayed the night in downtown Burband and wanted something sweet after sitting in the car all day. Shake Shack has a delicious custard, and you can choose chocolate and vanilla. We walked in, ordered from the kiosk, and within minutes, I had delicious smooth velvety custard. We sit down and observe a man who is lying down on his back, looking at the back of the television they have mounted on the wall. After a few minutes, he announces, "Get ready for this!" And then proceeds to yell out "aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh." A few moments later, one of the employees asked him to leave and escorted him to the door. LOL, the guy must have been on some kind of hallucinogens or something, but he was very entertaining while we had our dessert. Shake shack is always a good idea.

Yelp
I dropped in for Lunch and ordered the double shack, fries, cheese for the fries on the side. Now, only because I've been to a few other Shake Shack's several times, I know what it should and could have been. The burger was put together poorly, as though they were in a hurry... (this place seems to be busy with to go orders). All the sauce was at the bottom of side of the burger and the picture is after I put the toppings back in place. Fries were cold. The staff at this location isn't as friendly as the others I've been to. All and all, a decent burger.
google avatar

Yelp
I will seriously never understand the mania of the Shake Shack brand, but for a basic burger it's pretty decent. It's a really weird vibe in this place and I don't know why. It's not very comfortable and the one time I did eat in, I just wanted to get out. Definitely a better spot for take away. This particular location makes me crazy and I have given them about half a dozen opportunities but think I am done with trying. The main issue is the staff, who always seem like they'd rather be doing something else (it's work, I get it, but still...) and, if they're not having personal conversations with each other, they just act like zombies. There is a really good touch screen ordering system, probably to give customers a chance to avoid any additional contact with the living dead behind the counters, that tells you it'll send a text when your order is ready. That part NEVER happens. Unless you're the only customer there, standing at the counter, and see them put a bag with your name on the counter, you have no idea your order is ready. And, if you do say that you never got a text, you get a shrug or a casual, "sorry 'bout that." The Glendale location is definitely a better option if you need to do Shake Shack, but there are many other good burger spots in walking distance to this store.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the best shake shack I've ever been to. What makes it the best is the customer service. The workers here treat the customer like it's a 5 star restaurant. They go above and beyond. Will Come back

Yelp
I usually come to shake shack a few times a year and needed something to eat before we hit the road. Ordering on the app was pretty easy and I like the customization options. However, when I got back to my car some of my order was incomplete. I should have double checked everything with the cashier, but I did not. I ordered a double shack burger and only received a single and noticed ah unpleasant piece of brown lettuce. I also ordered their chicken nuggets and didn't receive the sauce with my order. The only things that were correct were the hot ones chicken burger, strawberry lemonade and the fries.

Artin S.

Yelp
Fantastic experience! Food was delicious and service was equally impressive. Special shoutout to Anna! She was super kind and professional, going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
I had a gift card to Shake Shack. I tried to order online. Payment was declined over and over. Turns out that they changed their gift cards or something and so the system would no longer accept the card. I just paid for my meal. Then I called customer service. They explained the situation. They promised to send me a new gift card that would work (which they did), and as an apology emailed me another number for a gift card. Fast forward a month. I spend time getting ready to order again. The new gift card doesn't work. The number they sent me doesn't work. I've now wasted over an hour of time dealing with their system, which doesn't work. I'm done. Will never go to Shake Shack again. Give me Habit, 5 Guys, In N Out, whatever...but no more SS.
google avatar

Arturo F.

Yelp
Had their double cheese burger and there were two chewy bits of hard fat or nerve I had to spit out. What a shame shake shack. Will never come back and be sticking to in n out burger as in my 30 plus years if eating burgers I've never had to spit out twice cartilage of some sort.

Yelp
I don't like leaving bad reviews and when I do it's just to get their attention and I take it down . One thing and I hate and don't know how this started, LETTING PEOPLE BRING THEIR DOGS INSIDE the restaurant. They shed hairs that go up in the air and float down everywhere unlike human hair that just falls. When I see a dog inside I do a 180 and put that place on a list of restaurants I will never go. Two, last month they had rainbow advertising and signage for a month, and it's their business and it wasn't Honoring Gods Rainbow Around His Throne. For 4th of July Our Nations Anniversary they had nothing. no Flag, No Red, White and Blue, again Nothing out of Respect and Reverence for the Nation and Veterans who afford them to be able to have a business. That's it, I didn't want to be too cold blooded and give them a 1 Star which they deserve for now....
google avatar

Aya N.

Yelp
Burgers are really tiny in comparison with the 5guys , it's ok only if you are really hungry and don't have other options.

Benny G.

Yelp
why is the self-check-out asking for a tip? Who am I tipping? YOU SHOULD BE TIPPING ME for doing YOUR job. Will not return here because I don't like being insulted like that. And it's a shame because the burger was pretty good.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was a-ma-zing. Had the Korean bbq chicken sandwich with bacon cheese fries. 9/10 slaps. Service was good, loved the atmosphere.

Yelp
Nice employees (the slightly more mature lady) . They serve custard shakes black-and-white Shake was very sweet but it was good. My husband got the orange cream milkshake, which was good after he added alcohol to it. Not a lot of milkshake flavors to choose from. It was very crowded. It is made for young people.
google avatar

Yelp
Shake Shack has currently a fun promotion, you get free fries if you are vaccinated with your order of hamburger or chicken sandwich. So my husband and I decided to give this Burbank location another shot. Bring your vaccine card till June 12 and they will honor their promotion. It was a tad harder to place our order, because of the promotion we wanted to use the regular register, not the tablets, but the register wasn't working. So we got helped and an employee placed our order via tablets. Got the free fries, 2 chicken sandwiches, 2 beers (their Brooklyn brew on tap) and 2 custards, vanilla and chocolate to be brought later on. They have seating inside but I still don't feel good about it so we chose to eat outside. They have a nice seating area on the sidewalk on a side street in downtown Burbank. The order was brought to us, a portion of fries was missing. We shared one till they brought the other one. They were nice and helpful. The chicken sandwiches are flavorful, full of chicken breast, crispy and love the pickles and the lettuce. Our favorite was their beer, cold and nice bite My husband went to get the custard later, I loved the vanilla one (and I am not a vanilla kinda of girl!), it was smooth and creamy. The chocolate one was decent, not as good though. They are trying with the customer service, everyone working there was nice, but it can be more attentive. Cons - small portions and high prices. Pro-s - decent food, free promo fries, nice seating area outside and great cold ones! Better experience!

Yelp
Love their burgers. My fav is avacado with bacon burger. Staff is wonderful every time, especially David and Wendy. I only eat in n out, but burgers here tastier for me. Thank you for amazing food and service

Yelp
Better than INO and im an LA native lol. INO is cheaper but the beef here is much better

Yelp
Now shake shack is very overpriced to say the least, but the food slaps! Everything is always fresh and high quality. I got the hot ones everything. The burger was FIRE! And the hot ones chicken sandwich was incredible as well. That nice crunchy breading is everything. I also got the bacon cheese crinkle cut fries which were amazing as well. Their cheese is really good, tastes like fresh queso. I dipped those in the hot ones sauce and it was bomb. The workers are really friendly and they try their best to be quick, but they're always slammed! The dining room is huge and it's always clean. Expect to wait at least 20 minutes for your food. That's my only complaint! Oh and they make ordering easy by making everyone order on their own using the kiosk.
google avatar

Michael P.

Yelp
A BIG SHOUT OUT TO WENDY!! Wendy was THE epitome of excellent customer service and kindness. I tried to order their new " Korean" Shack Burger but it was sold out. I ordered the fantastic " Korean " chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Wendy went out of her way to make me a " Korean " burger with the ingredients they had on hand. She comped it for " my trouble " ... which was not necessary! But I so appreciate her taking the time to ensure that I was happy!! I would give Wendy 6 Stars if I could-- and the same for this SS. You guys are doing it right. Thank you again Ms. Wendy. You made my day!
google avatar

Yelp
Got the chance to try this location today, and I can say that Shake Shack is consistent with their food and service. They do not have a person taking the order at this location. They have kiosks to place your order. You can also customize it (like if you want to remove tomato, add avocado, etc). I think it is fancy. There isn't much seating, especially during their peak times. We got here at a little past noon, and they were crowded. But when we were done with our food, they had a lot of empty tables available. For some reason, I feel like they give you more fries at this location, which is definitely a PLUS!!! Thr fries and burgers were fresh. Service was great as well. I will definitely be back here at this location.

Yelp
I ordered takeout from this Shake Shack location recently. I had Chicken Bites, White Truffle Parmesan Fries, and a Sunset Lemonade. The food was decent, but I thought it was a bit pricey for the portion size. The lemonade was good. I didn't like that the sauce I chose for the chicken was missing from my takeout bag and that there was little sauce packed for my fries.

Yelp
The burger and food lives up to the hype...but hype isn't why I go to In N' Out. First off let me say, it's a great burger, easily one of the better burgers I've had. It's the kind of burger worthy of being the picture in a dictionary. The patties are crispy, crusty on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside. The yellowish, orange cheese ever so gooey. The slices of tomato and lettuce contrast the colors of the griddled meats and cheeses. The bun has a pleasing round shape, tucked nicely into that paper wrapping. However...the meat is kind of salty and the much lauded shack sauce was inconsequential and the lettuce and tomato don't add much to the burger other than aesthetics. I did finally figure out what an In N' Out burger would taste like with bacon on it and I learned why In N' Out never needs to offer that as an option. The grilled onions (a dollar extra add on) was really good though. Next time I'll try it with mushrooms. The fries are good and crinkle cut which is a plus. This was the one aspect of my meal that was better than In N' Out, but the fries are such a low bar to overcome. They were a little overcooked for my tastes, but went great with the ketchup. I got the cheese fries and the sauce goes cold quick. It's better than the standard cheez whiz or nacho sauce. The shakes in their namesake are good. A refreshing treat any time. It's definitely on the thicker side, but again, quality ingredients go a long way. With that said, it's a great meal, but is it worth the cost? This is where shake shack wins...yes, it's more expensive, but you can taste where that money goes. Is it enough to get me coming back? Sadly, no. This review has been sitting my yelp drafts folder for years now and I think I've gone back once or twice. In the years since writing this, the smashed burger has grown in popularity thanks to Shake Shack and there's so many, better, options now.

Yelp
Love Shake Shack, very tasty and very good quality, a bit of a mention like all other restaurants the burgers are getting smaller and smaller. I get it, times are tough and businesses have to make some sort of a profit. With all the regulations and rules it costs more. I would probably suggest 2 burgers if your really hungry. I do recommend this place.

Yelp
I thought I hated shake shack but we were in the burger mood so we decided to give it a try and we must confess, we actually enjoyed it very much! We even got a free shake coupon that we used on the spot! I got a double cheeseburger with avocado and my man got the double with the mustard, Swiss, and caramelized onions. The onions were a bit too much but overall both tasted great. We also tried the truffle fries, not too shabby. That shake though....

Talesin B.

Yelp
Clean and tidy, with relatively quick service and no-contact ordering. All the good out of the way, there's a reason there were only three or four people there during the lunch rush. Massively overpriced and underwhelming food. Despite being LOADED with mayo, the burger was dry, with one leaf of sad, wilted lettuce that was closer to tough toilet paper. Also small, and over-salted. The shake was thin and under-sweet, closer to melted ice cream than a shake. The 'spicy fries' were just a handful of Ore-Ida crinkle cut oven fries; crispy on the tips, soggy in the middle. Though the kick of cayenne was nice. All in all, for the $21 I spent here I'd have been better-off heading to the In-N-Out just down the road, where the same price would fetch four burgers, as well as two shakes... all larger and tastier than the disappointment Shake Shack has dished out.

Yelp
Back to Hollywood for me. This location is more convent but they never seem to get my burger right. They always leave something off. And the fries are cold. When they get it right it's great so... I don't know if they are constantly slammed or not but the Hollywood location never fails me.

Yelp
Bad service was standing there and they helped 3 people ahead of us and ignored us standing there. do better

Yelp
There's a parking structure nearby/across the street. It's located at the corner, so we saw it when we first got to the area. When we crossed the street onto the corner of Shake Shack, there was a line formed and we got into the line. After awhile, an employee asked us if we knew what we wanted to order and we said no, so she left. By the time we got to the front of the line to order, we knew what we wanted. The lady at the counter was wearing a face mask and gloves. There's a sign at the counter that reads, "Social distancing. We're taking every precaution and have marked lines 6 feet apart for you. Please wait until the guest ahead of you has ordered before moving up. As always, we're thankful for the privilege to serve you." We ordered: Shack burger and S'More shake (chocolate frozen custard, marshmallow sauce and graham cracker crumbs), another Shack burger with no cheese and a S'More shake, and I ordered a Shack burger with no tomato and a Cookies & Cream shake with malt and no whip cream. I asked her to make sure there is no whip cream. The lady repeated our order but replaced my friends' shakes with a different shake, so it's good she repeated it. We corrected the order, double confirmed that their shakes were right and that mine wouldn't have whip cream but theirs would. After we ordered, we just hung around nearby. There wasn't much shade and no wind. There's a dog section near the counter that has a picture of a dog bone and the word "parking" under it with a water bowl next to it. They do have outdoor seating with black umbrellas over most of them. But it was full by the time we ordered so we took the food with us. When they called the name on our order, we went to go get it but the lady repeated what was inside and we heard her say fries and lemonade. We said no, we didn't get fries or lemonade so that's not our order. She said okay, ours just needs to be bagged then she can bring it out. We waited a little longer, she came out with someone else's order and then went back in and came back with our order. It was correct this time. We took our food to the car. It tasted good. My shake was good and the burger was good as well, just as I expected.

Yelp
Went here in Burbank to see if this burger joint would be better than all the other ones I have been to. In some aspects, it was better than hook burger and in n out, however; the downfall was definitely the price. Outside, you have plenty of competition and this place doesn't stand out as much, but my mood said try out this burger place. Since I'm a health freak and don't want diabetes and cancer or some other illness I suggest you get something healthy. So, as a health freak as I am I decided to customize my burger in the most healthy way possible. I got a vegan burger made out of organic vegetable and seeds with lettuce instead of buns. I didn't add sauce, no cheese and regular onions instead of grilled. I also ordered no drink or French fries. They offer hotdogs and ice cream but there is no way I'm goiNg to order that. Although I don't eat these items they looked very tasty. The price didn't look lucrative however. The ice cream ran for 6-8$ for a small cup of ice cream. The hot dogs can range anywhere from 8-10$ and I could go to Costco and buy a dozen for half that price excluding the buns. The burger taste quite nice, it was sweet and had a spicy tint aftertaste to it. The price was 8$ which was way off the mark for me. A whole meal at in n out burger costs the same as this protein style vegan meat. Overall, customer service was on point and you have the option to oRder thru a machine as an addition to the front. Think of the service as a sonic drive thru but inside. Bizarre and at the same time unique.

Yelp
Had the best experience here I have ever had at this location. I was blown away at the kind service today. The young man with the glasses who took my order was extremely kind and quick taking our order. And an older lady with a cane was also very kind going around the restaurant making sure the customers were happy. But to have amazing customer service AND delicious food is so awesome. Everything was on point. Fresh, hot and crispy. Thank you for making my Friday! On a side note, some people have lost touch with humanity. On our way out a misunderstanding occurred with a customer and worker, and even though the worker apologized several times, these two ladies with a little boy chose to make a scene. So sad. Some people forget we are all human, make mistakes, and could use a little compassion and forgiveness. Wish I could give this poor worker a hug. Yikes, did she get her head bit off :(

Yelp
Above and beyond service! I came in on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm for a pick-up order and was greeted by a friendly team member at the pick up location. I am so glad I believe her name was Annie helped me out professionally and friendly. I accidentally placed my order at the wrong location but it was quickly resolved when she helped me cancel the other location order and place a new one at the Burbank location. I got my order in less than 15 minutes with the help of their employees here. The food was hot and delicious! Loved it!! Thank you to the Burbank staff you all are doing an awesome job!

Yelp
First time eating at this Shake Shack location on First Street in Burbank. I remember this space was occupied by Gateway Computers way back when. It's about 2 short blocks from Burbank Media Center (mall). The interesting thing about this location which I havent encountered elsewhere was that this Shake Shack has fully automated ordering and payment. Never seen that before. I dont or havent eaten at typical fast food locations for decades now so this type of ordering may be available at your local golden arches. You walk in and along the right side of the restaurant are iPad style tablets for you to order your complete meal from. You can make specific changes to your burger/sandwich directly on the tablet. No lettuce, no tomatoes... you do that all here. This is also where you pay. There is a point of sale card reader by the tablet. We ordered 2 shack stacks and shares cheese fries. Everything came out as ordered. No complaints there. The gentleman (African American) that called out your order when it was ready was friendly and engaging. Yes, there is still human contact! Anyways, he was cool and his customer service was excellent. Food was good, service was great. Im on the fence about all the automation. Check out this Shake Shack location whenever youre in Burbank.

Yelp
Before taking the 6 hour drive home, I wanted to grab some Shake Shack cheese fries so my friend and I decided to stop at this location since it was the closest one we were going to drive past. This location is right on the corner of a popular street so we thought parking was going to be a nightmare but luckily we found one not to far from the restaurant. After our short walk, we walked in and there were quite a few people sitting and eating but no line, which was awesome. We were greeted by an employee who handed us menus but it didn't take too long for us to decide what we wanted. After a few short seconds, we decided on the following: -cheesefries -regular fries -smoke shack burger We originally wanted to stay and eat there but when I took a seat, the people sitting in front of my noticed that there was a cockroach right behind a bench near the door. Now, it was just one and it was by the door. It could have easily walked in through the door but my friend wanted to take our food to go after that. Whilenwaiting for our food, one of the employees threw on some gloves and took care of it before it got any further; which I appreciated. Overall the restaurant was pretty clean and the food was delicious. Aside from that one minor mishap with the cockroach, everything was great!

Yelp
Gourmet fast food at it's finest. I've been to this location several times and have tried a good amount of their menu items. On my most recent trip there, I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich which is one of their new summer lineup items. The sandwich comes with a piece of honey-glazed crispy chicken, topped with habanero mayo, shredded lettuce and put together with a toasted potato bun. The combination of these ingredients gives the sandwich a nice sweet and spicy flavor that isn't too overbearing. Service has also been fantastic the times that I have went. They have self servicing kiosks to put in orders and they bring the food out to you when it's ready. The staff also does a good job in cleaning up the public eating area. The location of the restaurant is also conveniently situated next to a parking complex so the walk over to it is quick. They also offer curbside pick up for any online orders. I'll definitely come back again in the near future.
