Great spot. Gluten free options marked on the menu with calories noted for everything. Nice vibe, street side outdoor seating and patio in the back with glass roof that’s nice. Manager is a super nice and friendly guy. Def on his game. Good stuff

Visiting the shake shack after a gap of 4+ years. Last time I remember visiting it in 2019 at their 33rd/34th St location. Thankfully this time I tried out the hamburger instead of sides. I ordered a shack burger, crinkle cut fries topped with cheese and frozen hot cocoa shake. The shack burger was good especially the potato bun which was really soft with the right amount of butter applied while toasting it. The patty was cooked to perfection and now I understand why people consider this chain as the best one in the town! Fries weren't that good, they lacked the crisp and were a bit on the salty side but the portion size was good. Frozen hot chocolate shake was really delicious and I felt this was probably the best shake I have had in a while! The shake was topped with marshmallows and it felt really delicious. Overall a good experience, the ambiance of the place is great and the service is quick too!

We had two Black Truffle 'Shroom Burgers, French Fries and a Coke. The burgers were delicious. Well presented too. Average pricing. Nice ambiance for a fast food joint. Good service. Friendly staff.

The ambience of this place is great, and in the back there are seatings under a glass ceiling. The place is modern, and you can place the order on the touch screens. The place was not busy when I ordered, but it took a while for the order to come out. And the burger was small. The experience was disappointing here.

I felt like a burger, I tried the double avocado burger, it wasn't great, but good enough . Fries,mehh, overall,a ok experience What I like, is drinking water fountains, free to anyone,who doesn't drink sugary stuff. I did like the shake shack carbonated water. Price product relation is good.

I previously rated this place three stars because the Chick'n Shack sandwich was dry. But we have since tried it a few more times and the sandwich has been consistently good. So four stars. We usually placed the order via their app when we were about 15 minutes away. The order was ready when we got there. We liked the "double" Shack Burger and Chick'n Shack sandwich. Fries could be crunchier.

Overall a good experience for me and I think, for the price point, definitely one of the best burger and shake place in town for me to add to my order rotation list. The environment is nice Burger was flavorful and fries had amazing texture (we ate too fast to forget to take pictures lol). Shake taste like most other shakes I had and on par with expectations. Not sure if the place was designed with pandemic in mind but was definitely a streamlined and enjoyable experience to order and sit down.

Delivery order from Uber eats. So YES! Tasty! It's much better than the stores in malls. And It's my first time ordering this burger, have to say that the taste and texture of avocado go well with the meat patty. Also, when you take a bite, you can clearly tell that the ingredients are very fresh.

Great customer service right at the door. I was the first one in at 11:00am and they were ready to go. I recommend the stack shack burger and a shake is a must. The manager here knows what he's doing and the whole team is following. Excited to come back and eat in the back restaurant very spacious and nice!

I had the shroom stack burger for lunch, the mushroom patty tastes overcooked, I don't understand why, there aren't many people there besides me and there definitely is enough staffing. I think the overall quality control is simply subpar.

One of the better fast food places in Hoboken. I came here at around 6, place was pretty empty. I was there with friends for a birthday, so i ordered a plain hamburger with fries and a vanilla milkshake. Somehow, this cost me $19.69. WHAAAAATTTTT??? I came with 20 because i thought it would be around 10-15, but 19??? For a burger, crinkle fries, and a milkshake? Literally, for what they charge for a single hamburger at Shake Shack, you can get a whole meal at McDonalds. Go there, don't go here.

Super solid Shake Shack, as a chain should be imo! I got a Pumpkin Patch Shake, which was all my pumpkin spice dreams coming true. Spice-y, sweet with a tad bit of saltiness to it. We also got Bacon Cheese Fries to share, and I got a 'Shroom Burger. The 'Shroom burger was a bit wet/moist, but it wasn't uncooked or anything, and it tasted delicious. Just a bit weird. Restroom was very clean, which I appreciate since I have to brush my teeth after meals for Invisalign! It's the worst when bathrooms smell or the sink has water spilled everywhere. The space under fully enclosed awning in the back with natural light is super spacious and nice. A big group of us hung out there, and it was splendid.

Solid. What's with all these terrible reviews on here based specifically on delivery? What do you expect? It's upscale pricey fast food- get your butt over there and grab it yourself! Besides, it should be eaten within minutes of being made. Anyways I stopped by a Saturday late afternoon and was pretty impressed as it happens to be a beautiful location with a great seating area in the back and tables in front outside as well. Most of the locations in nyc are so packed. This was actually enjoyable. I ordered a double cheese burger wrapped in lettuce, with fries (cheese on the side), and a 1/2 & 1/2! You order on a kiosk and they text you when order is ready. So easy. Staff was friendly and the space was kept very clean- they were constantly cleaning tables as people got up. Would recommend!

Had a take out (hangover) order on New Years Day. Was able to order on the app and pickup in the time given. Shake Shack was offering a BOGO on burgers and I took full advantage. The burgers were amazing. And fries were even better. Only complaint was the hot dog was over cooked/chewy and the order was missing condiments. Would absolutely return for another cheeseburger. Wish there was a location in Jersey City.

I ordered on the app. They have a nice monitor to tell you when your order is ready. But it isn't showing any updates. Same experience last time. They send an e-mail saying they will text you when your order is ready. They did not send me a text either times I've visited. They have someone handing you your orders. The first time they labeled all the bags and I finally checked after waiting a long time and my bag was on the side, unlabeled, and the food was cold. The next time the person helping was joking with the register staff and my food was once again getting cold. He looked very overwhelmed a bit later when we put a second order in. About 8 people waiting. And multiple bags that he was not putting on the shelf. Then a meat order delivery came in and he had to deal with that. It's too much for 1 person, maybe updating the monitor would help. After looking at his job, I could see why he took a few minutes to joke around with the other staff, he intermittently gets swamped. I really wonder if they put the new people at this job. For the price of what you're getting, quick food, your would think they would get their act together. It's a poor system, I can't blame the workers though, someone needs to get the monitor working and the text messages to consistently work. And came here and both bathrooms were closed. The water worked fine from the water fountain. Guess they just don't care enough to let their customers relieve themselves. Both the men's and women's toilets were closed. Edit: I went back today. Bathrooms still closed, but I saw employees in the area. The inside seating has a sign that says its closed for a private event. So it's still closed. But I saw employees using it as a break room. I think they deserve a break room. I just wonder when this private event will be, because the room has been closed for more than just today. I really wonder about the signs that they put up, it does not seem honest. Edit 2: thanks for reaching out. I will return someday, but I pay my own way. I'll just add a thank you for keeping a very clean looking kitchen.

If you like Shake Shack, this new location works. Interesting layout, with the computer stations and ordering up front, then table seating in the back under a glass atrium for a unique indoor/outdoor kind of feel. I went twice, and the burger, fries, drink were very good and on par with my expectations. Excellent service. There is space for some seating on Washington Street for better weather days. Tables/seating might be tight during prime time hours.

SOLID choice when you're in the mood for some elevated fast food! Portions are right on the money and burgers always come flying fresh hot off the grill on a potato bun. We loved the Truffle (Regalis) partnership Shake Shack had going on months ago. We saw the ad for the limited time Buffalo chicken Sammy and snagged it along with a free side of fries(SCORE!) This just so happened to be part of a limited time Doordash promo. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was amazing. Perfect texture, great breast meat quality and a nice southern splash of some cool ranch on top. 10/10 shake burger double was 10/10- get that shake shack sauce on the side. We decided to do halfzies as a couple which left me with nice 60/40 splits. I can't decide if I enjoyed my 60% serving of Buffalo chicken or my 60% serving of shack burger. Either way, both were a 10/10. 2 orders of fries cuz no one shares cringe cut, ya know. Own it! 1 chocolate shake we split as dessert. Ok, maybe 75/25, as in i consumed most of the shake. My partner was still left plenty satisfied with the serving, but I totally devoured it and played it off like the portion was smaller or something. Overall, a really amazing cheat meal for 2 people. A really great spot!

Do you want to play 20 something dollars for a hamburger a french fry and a small iced tea have to order it from the Kush yourself sit at the table and wait about 10 minutes and this is the place for you oh and by the way you want to use the restroom you gotta go get the code to wash your hands from all the grease from the burger

Typical Shake Shack. It was a really quiet night, however I ordered on their app anyway because I had a promo code. Burgers were great, so was the cookies and creme milkshake! Fries were not as well done as i would have liked, but they were still enjoyable. Great place to hang out because they have a huge dining room. However, they do not offer WIFI in the restaurant which is kind of disappointing. They also have 4 big TVs in the space, which they did not turn on.

Finally tried this Hoboken location one Wednesday afternoon. We ordered for pickup via the app, and the estimated wait time was pretty accurate, more or less. We did the BOGO single shack deal for the holidays, the truffle burger, and truffle fries since the truffle items were a limited time offer. The truffle burger had a nice flavor and actually tasted like real truffle and not fruffle (the fake truffle taste you find in some Trader Joe's items). But I think I still prefer a regular shack burger. There was just too much going on in the truffle burger. My husband and I split this and I'm glad we did because I think it would have been too heavy for me to eat by myself. For the truffle fries, these were just parmesan fries and I believe they were supposed to come with a truffle dip - at least that's what I've seen in the ads. I didn't realize it was missing until we got home and I wasn't about to walk all the way back there, so that was probably my only gripe. I'm glad this location opened up so that I can now satisfy my Shake Shack cravings without driving anywhere or going out to the city. I'm actually surprised I've only been here once so far!

My First time at this spot. I feel like I'm cheating on my 54th street manhattan shake shack location with this one . This was very open and big. Nicely decorated. It seems new and the workers were very attentive and friendly. I recommend this place to all you shakers and shackers. Hahaha, that came out wrong.

Ordered at the kiosks and had all food within 10 minutes. Food was prepared correctly and to my liking. Great service by the staff.

I ordered on the app for in-store pick-up, which I think mitigated some of issues that other reviewers had. I placed my order around 6pm and was given a 6:18pm pick up time. I arrived around 6:15pm and got my order at roughly 6:25pm, so not too far from the quoted time. I ordered 2 hot honey chicken sandwiches + 2 orders of cheese fries with cheese sauce on the side. Both orders came out correct and the cashier behind the counter even gave me some extra habanero mayo for our sandwiches, since we had 2. Sandwiches and fries were good. No complaints here.

Finally made it to Shake Shack for my burger experience . Ordered a cheeseburger and chicken sandwich to go . Well organized take out process with all of the protocol . So now the verdict . The burger and chick are OK but certainly nothing to write home about . There are many other burger options which are better without question . I might suggest it is on the same level as BK and M .

I've been giving this place extra chances because I liked other locations, but at this point I'm completely fed up with them treating me like crap, getting my order wrong, and just doing poor quality work even when they do get my order right. The latest issue is when I ordered cheese fries and when I opened it up they had poored the cheese sauce on the side of the box and there was almost none on the fries. It was so bad, it came across as them doing it on purpose. Every time I come here I feel like I'm getting ripped off. I'm done with Shake Shack - all locations now.

I do enjoy Shake Shack burgers. Got the smoke shack burger, it was very good. Only thing negative about Shake Shack for me is their fries. They are not good. Burgers are 10/10, but fries are 3/10. As such, I stick with the burgers only, and never disappointed. Also, they are open late, with it was a little later, but until almost midnight on weekends are not bad.

A big group of us came on a Sunday afternoon to hang out, and this Shake Shack has a back space that is fully covered but with natural sunlight. Lots of seating area, and we were able to gather a few tables and chairs for the entire group. I got a Smoke Shack Burger, and it was alright! For $9, I expected more, and it was very spicy with the pepper inside so I don't think it would suit everyone. The bacon in it was good. The Bacon Cheese Fries were alright, nothing too special. Wish Shake Shack didn't become so expensive considering their portion sizes, but I guess it's still less expensive than actual restaurants. Bonus points for restrooms being very clean.

Food was terrible and cold. Staff was rude and couldn't be bothered. I was simply an annoyance. So many great places in the area. Just avoid at all costs.

Well I don't eat burgers , this burger is the only one I eat , I was very excited to see a shack in Hoboken . Was there yesterday and ordered 2 shack burgers and as usual freshly made . The only downer it that is wasn't even very crowded and they took a long time , but it's certainly worth the wait . P.S: they even have Shack dog biscuits :)

Great place for a quick lunch. Staff is friendly and the food was really good. Restroom was clean. Overall a great place with a lot of choices. Glad we stopped in.

Nice option in Hoboken for the kids - burgers are great - fries not so much, which is surprising considering it's a burger joint? Nice variety of drinks on offer and service was quite efficient keeping in mind the number of delivery and take-away orders they were processing. I'm definitely a fan of the outdoor seating area which allowed us to eat dinner in the company of our four-legged baby!

Ordered from Shake Shack App and there's a missing item. Food is cold and cheese glued to the fries.... Called the location many times but no one would pick up. There's no way to request a refund for things they've never delivered. Poor customer service.

Decided to give this place another chance since my first experience before the pandemic where it was terrible. It did not get any better. I ordered a burger and fries which totaled close to $14. No drink. The fries were cold and hard. The burger was cold and rubbery. I sent everything back and asked for fresh hot product. They replaced it but the burger was not the way I requested it. I wiped off the sauce because I just didn't want to wait anymore. The staff was polite but obviously were not into their work. I will never go back to this shake shack again. I just wish I could get by tip back. I will never tip up front again. Tipping should be at the conclusion of the meal.

Came here on the first football Sunday of the year! The energy from the staff was amazing. They were all so nice and pleasant. My burger came with something I didn't ask for and without hesitation they made sure I got exactly what I wanted. The fries were slamming, but I've had better! Still enjoyed them. My burger was delicious. It was a perfect portion. After I ate I didn't feel like I was overly stuffed. I'd 100% come here to eat again. The combination of food, service, and location is perfect for a quick meal. I might have to go back this weekend lol. I was prepared to ask for the person that made my burger. It was that delicious

Delivered by bike and my food took almost an hour (he had another delivery on the trip) and arrived cool and soggy. My shake was melted and warm, it didn't help that it was placed in the same bag as the food. Grilled cheese I ordered for my son was inedible the paper was stuck to it and it was burnt. All in all the burger was the only okay item.

This is a very nice location. I'm used to going to location in the city, but this hoboken one is the best one yet. There are plenty of tables (in he City you have to fight over tables unless you are at the park). Food was good, service was okay as well. Ohh and they deliver, which is awesome!

not only was the order not delivered, they also charged the order on my credit card. I'm still waiting for someone contact for an immediate solution.

Stopped in today at 10:54 AM and I was turned away and told that they don't open till 11am. Everyone knows that you have to wait for your order. Would it have killed them to have taken my order and make me wait an additional 6 minutes ? It blows my mind that this goes on. I didn't walk in at 1030 and the frigging door was unlocked. I won't be going here , and I'll assume that the quality of employee is at this location is lacking like all the other locations now. Id give 0 if I was able.

The fries are delicious. The service is very good and very fast. I like the music that they play.

Finding a decent burger isn't a difficult task. There are a few local options which I very much enjoy, like Moran's or Oneals. However, I welcome Shake Shack for a variety of reasons. One, it's convenient. I downloaded their app, and ordered on Sunday and it was ready in 15 minutes. They make pick up very easy, and the customer service is top notch - I was walking my dog to pick up the order and an employee came outside with a homemade dog treat for him. The interior has four touchscreen terminals to enter your order, similar to how the app works. They have a dining area with about 10-12 tables, if you wanted to sit down to eat. If you are taking your food to go, they have both an interior waiting area or you can wait on the sidewalk. As for the burgers, I would give them a rating of 8.1 out of 10. It's a good, solid backyard burger. The kind of burger you would expect to have on a sunny summer day grilling with some friends. In a place like Hoboken this is welcome because many of us don't have a grill or a backyard! I'm deducting a few points because they don't have an option for sauteed onions. This was kindly explained to me by a manager, due to the size of their grill and sauteeing onions could seep to their toasted buns for other orders. That makes sense to me, but come on. Get a second (side) grill or a side pan for special requests? The cost was $5.99 for a burger with a single patty. I'm not a huge fan of the crinkle cut fries. Everytime I go there they taste like they are undercooked. I like my fries CRISPY and WELL DONE. Can we add an option to the app asking for well done fries? Fries are average. I'd like an option for onion rings as a side over fries. $3.09 for fries? Eh. The shakes are on point. Delicious. Some may think they are expensive at $5.49 each, but Rita's Italian Ice a few doors down has milkshakes that cost more at $6.50 each. My total cost, without tax was $14.57. I was pleasantly happy with my order. Would definitely go again. I tried a few days prior the Chick'n Bites. Meh. Not a fan of the batter/crust on the bites. $5 for 6 pieces. Average of 5.7 out of 10. If you are hankering for chicken nuggets, Chick-Fil-A in Newport Mall is far superior. Tried the Mango Passionade on another day. Again, average. Wouldn't order it again. Was underwhelming. Overall, I think Shake Shack will be an overwhelming success in Hoboken.

I am reluctantly writing a negative review, which I never do. As I'm sitting here writing this, my food is over an hour late from the original delivery window, and keeps getting pushed back further (note the original time window was 35 minutes). I tried calling Uber Eats, as directed in the app. Stayed on the line for 10 minutes, never got through. Tried messaging the restaurant through the app explaining the situation and looking for an update, and I immediately received a message saying my order has been fully refunded. It did not say that it was cancelled, so here I am wondering if I need to order somewhere else. Should add that I also called the restaurant, but was routed directly to voicemail with them saying they'd return my call within 24 hours. Thanks, guys. All in all, my first Hoboken Shake Shack experience has been incredibly frustrating. And yes, I'm hangry which is not helping. I understand delivery issues happen from time to time, but the fact that I was unable to find an actual person to talk to was...not cool. This is obviously not a review of the food, as I've had it in the city and like it. My take: if you force people to order through your app rather than a delivery provider, which I totally get, you need to take responsibility for the orders. I feel like that's not exactly happening here as their own app says to call Uber Eats if there's an issue.

The shroom burger is the best vegetarian burger. Way better than impossible and beyond. A whole mushroom piece deep fried till crisp.

Is this a real Shake Shack? I placed an order on the Shake Shack app earlier this evening and 30 minutes later I got a text from Uber saying my order was canceled and to call them back. I called them and they had no record of the order ... so then I called this location - nobody answered and the "message inbox was full." ... so then I filled out a complaint form on the Shake Shack website - they'll get back to me in "2-3 business days." I just have the munchies. Why are you torturing me?! please give me my money back.

Got some burgers with my friends, wait was pretty long but got our food eventually. The burger was a bit hard and overcooked but edible nonetheless. The service was okay. The cookies and cream milkshake was really good though! Only wished the lemonade was a bit sweeter it was too sour for my taste.

I love shake shack, but this restaurant serves the worst hamburger I've ever had. Obviously the employees need more training about how to make hamburgers. I thought it was easy to make hamburgers, now I get it. I'll never come back. Can't forget the disgusting taste.

Brandon made my night and I'm not too sure if he even knew why. I had a very bad day I was in the mood for Shake shack so me and my partner came in order it and it ran so smoothly they had the order right and the customer service was outstanding I will definitely be going back to this location!

Thought I was getting a Chicago (Shake-ago) dog but just got a sad, plain hotdog. Apparently they don't have the full menu here but they don't do a good job of explaining that and when I called to ask about clarifying this before I ordered it just went to the manager's voicemail. Not impressed. I can remember standing in lines FOREVER in Madison Sq Park for delicious food but now wondering if Shakeshack has expanded to fast and is now just like a cooler version of McDonalds. This would be sad.

Very good! This location delivers on the original concept (maybe even better). I had the single shack burger and fries, more than enough for 1 person. Staff was very nice and helpful, I was able to order and pick up in less than 15 min.

Shake Shack is becoming a staple in most towns/cities in america! Thank goodness for that since it is always spot on. A location recently opened up in Hoboken so I figured to try getting it delivered. I had a bacon avocado burger to start and it was your typical Shake Shack burger. Cooked just right with a soft bun and the right proportions of other ingredients. I also tried the chicken bites and honestly I am never really a fan of them. I find them rubbery and prefer chicken nuggets from other fast food places. The french fries are always sneaky good. They look like cafeteria fries but taste much better! We also had the vanilla/chocolate shake and how can you go wrong with a shake. The place is called shake shack! I haven't been inside the location to say what it looks like but the delivery process was solid and food was good. This is higher quality fast food that is pretty consistent. I am a sucker for Mcdonalds honestly but Shake Shack does hit the spot! Check it out.
