Shake Shack Kirkland

Visited Shake Shack in Kirkland today and really enjoyed the overall experience. It’s in a great area that’s perfect for families. There’s even a small fountain nearby where kids were splashing around and having fun on this sunny afternoon. The interior of the restaurant was spotless, which made the meal feel that much more enjoyable. Parking was a bit confusing, especially for a first-time visitor using Apple Maps from the suburbs. I ended up parking on the street and walking a little. But honestly, the short stroll wasn’t a big deal. The food itself was fantastic, as expected. Everything from the ShackBurger to the crinkle-cut fries, and the chicken bites hit the spot. A great stop if you’re in the area and craving something satisfying. JY review

Very good options. Tried the bbq chicken and was definitely different than I was expecting but in a good way. Friend had the beef burger and said was very good. Friendly service and straightforward ordering. seating options inside and out

The Black Truffle burger is simply heavenly, highly recommend. The meat patties are juicy and hot off the grill (instead of sitting in a warmer for hours). The cheese is melted perfectly and amazing cheese pull like you see in commercials. And the truffle sauce!! Loved the earthy and nutty flavor of the truffle oil, and it definitely made the burger’s flavor more complex. Milk shake is a must get of course. It’s creamy and thick and just the perfect combination with your burger.

Food : I ordered to-go and drove about 10 minutes home and the food was still hot and fresh. The quality of the food and taste was great! Would definitely order again. Service : staff were friendly. Every team member that say me made an interaction with me. Shoutout to the very kind lady with the short hair and awesome make-up. Atmosphere: cool location and the building really stands out.

First time at this location and it did not disappoint. The burgers were fresh and really good. We also had shakes and they were good also. It’s alil more on the pricey side for a burger place but it’s definitely worth it

Super clean and well-maintained. Our food was fantastic - the patties were perfectly cooked, the shake was perfect. I recommend the strawberry shake!

Staff for friendly the food was good, unfortunately the meat that I had was pink on the inside, so I walked to the front and they quickly made me another I swallowed that burger 🍔 back real quick and it was awesome. We ordered the spicy cheesy fries but they forgot the cheese sauce 🧀 so it was just sprinkles of hot 🔥 powder. That kind of sucked but we were so hungry we just ate. I really wanted the veggie burger but it was sold out, oh well next time. My boy love chicken strips and 🍟 fries, but they had chicken 🐔 bites which were way better, first time he ate all of them, which was great. So for except a few minor issues, the overall experience was good and they acted quickly on our requests for new burger, 🍔 can't ask for more. I don't expect perfection there are situations for mistakes for me the question is how they handle them and they did well. For 🅿️ parking, you can park underground and keep your receipt 🧾 and then when you walk into the front door there's a barcode scanner that you can validate your parking with. Save a few bucks, with a pharmacy right next door it would have been convenient to buy some peptol if that pink meat affected me I guess they thought about all the angles....

The burgers are good and the prices are mostly reasonable. The side items though.... I had a double burger with diced chilies and enjoyed it. The bread had a touch of crispy ness and the hamburger patties had a nice flavor. It reminded me of Steak and Shake a bit. My fries, though, had cheese on them and the cheese sauce was just not working. I also had a shake that I couldn't finish because the flavor was cloyingly sweet. I would go back next time in the area, but I'll be sure to keep things simple.

My first time trying this kind of burger with a sweet bun and also my first time having amazing crinkle fries! My order came out fast, and the servers behind the counter were friendly! Avocado in the burger was fresh and buttery. The whole experience was biting into the most satisfying burger you've never had until you've been to a shake shack, and I can't believe I've been missing out! Grabbed a regular classic burger too and my future self thanked me for it. At the Kirkland location, there is activity, but quiet on a 2PM weekday lunch in the lull between the 12pm lunch rush and the kids coming out of school, but once it hits 3pm, the school kids start lining up. Will definitely try their other locations anytime I'm craving a treat!

Fries are subpar. They don't taste like real potatoes and they don't taste fresh but like salt and cooked by a heat lamp. They burgers are good and tasty but they don't match the price. The chicken nuggets are the worst item on the menu. At about $1 a piece you would have thought the scrap bites of chicken would be better but the greasy, overly seasoned breading falls off. The sauces for the nuggets is laughably terrible. Drink selection is nice. The little service help offered is poorer. You need to ask for ketchup to go before getting your order because once they hand off the meal you become a ghost to staff. The red light to go window is really a distraction as you eat and wait for an order. You will feel like you are in an Italian Horror film.

Ultimately one of my favourite burgers in Downtown Kirkland! I am such a big fan of their Shroom Burger which is mushrooms with loaded cheese inside. The crinkle fries are also a must and it's genuinely so delicious! However, the prices are quite high for a fast food chain, so you're looking at about $9-12 for a singular burger. I would recommend coming to get this once a while, but not really for a dinner because it doesn't fill you up entirely. The service is quick and there is a self kiosk so it's very easy to be in and out. There are tables in and outside of the store and I'd recommend the indoor since it's quite cold right now. The environment is friendly and they will greet you once you walk in! It's like a typical fashion food chain and they'll text your number or call your name out when your food is ready!

If you love Burgers and shakes, Shake Shack must be one of your favorites places. I haven't dined in this place yet. This review is for the pick up order I did recently. Wanted to take advantage of recent T-Mobile Tuesday promotion. Ordered a Shack burger and the vanilla shake from the app. By the time I was there, the order was read. Their pick up system is impressive. Couple of staffs always around to help out with the pick up. They ask for the name and find your order from the rack! Due to the large number of pickups, had to wait for some time before I could get it. It was well packed when I picked up. The burger was fresh. Loved it! The Vanilla milkshake was a good choice along with the burger. This place has got some ambiance. It was really loud; looks like they have seating outside as well. The only caveat was the parking. I couldn't find a parking near by to go and get the food. Had to park in the garage. if it's under 5 minutes - they won't charge you!

I came here to take advantage of promotion, get a free chicken sandwich or a shake when you purchase over $10 last week. Parking garage was nearby and you could scan at parking validation kiosk at the cashier. Service was efficient and friendly. Ambiance was fast casual. We ordered take out and it was delicious. It's always a good place for a quick bite.

Shake shack was so delicious Young lady who's the manager was so helpful and patient with the kids. Hands down best service and hot and fresh food We are so coming back !!!! Thank you.

I have visited a handful of times & I have never been disappointed. I have ordered the spicy chicken & the spicy shackmeister burger. It has a nice kick of spice but not one where you will need to drown water. Not to say that it wont be super spicy for some. The spicy cheese fries are yummy. Those dont feel spicy at all. & sometimes the amount of cheese can be a hit or miss. The prices seem a tad bit higher but everything feels expensive these days.

This is the worst shake shack. Always egregiously busy, and my order has been wrong 4/5 times I've visited. This place gets an F.

I almost wrote off Shake Shack after poor experiences at other locations. But this location saved me as a customer! Ordering is very easy and staff are friendly. I find this location to be clean as well. My go-to is the Avocado Bacon Burger and it is delicious every time! My husband tried the new Korean BBQ Burger and wasn't very impressed, but we are pleased with a majority of the menu so it's wasn't a huge upset. Coming back soon to try the Korean Style Fried Chicken Sandwich.

Went here with my little brother a couple months back when our mom had a job party to celebrate her hard work, told us she will be back and gave us $20 for food to roam. Me and my brother were looking around during lunch hour and found Shake Shack, thought to give it a try. Waited 20 minutes for our order of one cheeseburger, root beer to share, and hot dog, just for the worker to tell that they are out of the root beer halfway in making the food. Costed us $19 in total for a $7 tiny cheeseburger, $5 hard hot dog, and very bland $4 Coca Cola, won't recommend this location if you have a small budget of $20, you need like $40 to enjoy yourself at Shake Shack.

I love me some Shake Shack! It's probably a good thing there aren't more of them around. Stopped here for lunch before my next shift and saw the latest menu addition - the 'Hot Ones' burger. They also have a Hot Ones hot dog and hot ones fries as well. Best I can tell it's a cheeseburger with hot sauce. Admittedly it wasn't very saucy. Only on one side of the burger, so it seems like the sauce ratio was a bit off. Still though this burger was good. Nice big patty on a potato bun. Juicy and flavorful. That alone grants it another try. I had a shake but too, also good. But have had better. Maybe it was the lunch rush and was hastily made. There are a few things going on so I'm giving the benefit of the doubt - they're renovating, there is still indoor seating but some of it is blocked off and there are boxes stacked around. Also there were a lot of orders coming in during the lunch rush both pick up and eat in. So I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. I'll give it another go maybe when the renovation wraps. If you're at Urban Plaza though and hungry, Shake Shack is there.

Service is slower here than other locations but the food quality is good. The SmokeShack and the Shack Stack are great. Excited for the Alderwood location to open.

Nothing to not like about Shake Shack if you are a burger and fast casual fan. From their store design, ordering system and food, Shake Shack is an elevated option in this category. Say what you will about kiosk/screen ordering, but I love it in a casual restaurant. I like a minute to peruse my options and choices, order and pay. So much better than a drive thru or counter where you may feel pressure to not hold up the line. I usually get the Shack Burger, but now that they have a veggie option besides the fried Portobello mushroom, I will definitely be giving that a try. I am a big fan of their crinkle cut fries plain or with cheese. They are perfectly crispy on the outside. It's probably a good bet their shakes are yummy, given the name, but I don't usually have ice cream with a burger, so you will have to explore that one yourself!

If I could give a 0, I would. Drove 45 minutes to get the free chicken sandwich deal on Sunday with a 10+, apparently they ran out of chicken sandwiches? What a waste of time. Shake shack in general is over priced + garbage, thought I'd give it a try

Went here today, mind you I have been to shake shakes in NYC and California- this experience was subpar We got a double burger - with the usual toppings, a single lettuce wrap with bacon, 2 plain hamburgers for our dogs, 2 fries and 2 bottled waters so all in over $60 dollars- 1st issue- lettuce wrapped burger- lettuce was old exterior pieces that were wilted, expired and gross- removed those to find two tiny pieces of RAW bacon- disgusting!! 2nd issue all of the meat was over cooked,over salted and COLD! Even the dogs wouldn't eat it- 3rd issue the fries were also COLD! I will wait for my next trip to LA to eat Shake Shack again!

If I could pick one burger for the rest of my life it would be this. The food is amazing! I love the super thin & crispy smash burgers. Crinkle cut fries are one of my favorite but topped with the cheese sauce- game changer. Wish this was a little closer to me but we make the drive up every few months & make a little date night out of it. Ordered on the kiosk & it wasn't too long of a wait! We ended up getting salt & straw for dessert but next time I'm definitely trying a custard shake!

Waited 40 minutes for 3 burgers, 1 chicken bites, and 2 fries. 40 minutes because they prioritize online orders.

One of my favorite burgers! The quality, taste of meat is top tier, better than any other. I always get a shake shack burger, any other burger is way too much. If my partner gets something different, I always try his. The chicken sandwich was bomb, a must try if you want something other than the burgers. Fries are fries, the loaded fry options were tasty. I really enjoy their desserts as well! Such a good way to finish any meal. Service is good, nice staff. There's a parking garage underneath or street parking. Shake shack is always a good choice

The food quality is consistent and they certainly know how to make a burger. There service is fast and reliable. Having the parking validation scanner next to the food ordering kiosks is very convenient for those who park at Kirkland urban. It makes dining in or taking out painless. There app is also easy to use! I enjoy the ambiance of this location, and appreciate both the indoor/outdoor seating availability in addition to being in close proximity to a park. Highly recommend this establishment!

This is a good restaurant located in Kirkland Urban with a good ambiance. The employees are friendly and helpful, though often don't greet visitors. The food is amazing and exceeded my expectations, and you can enjoy the surrounding area afterward. My only complaint is that the restaurant requires online ordering using their Kiosks, and the design of their ordering page needs to be better, requiring a phone number or Email. Also, parking is often limited or paid for, so I recommend parking near Kirkland Library or Peter Kirk Park rather than the Kirkland Urban parking.

Service is good, and I've always had a fast experience! My order is always made right. The one thing to knock is parking, because you have to park in the garage, but they do free validated parking which is awesome. I love their shack burger the most, my go to order is that with either a side of cheese fries or a shake. I love the tea lemonade blends they have as well, especially on a hot day!

I had a delicious BLT with a side of fries. The cost is a bit high, but the food quality was great. Crispy fries and a nice pile of bacon in the BLT. I did not have a shake, however, because I cannot eat that much in one sitting. Maybe next time I will have a shake and sandwich, skipping the fries. From what I saw, the shakes looked magnificent!!

Service is slower here than other locations but the food quality is good. It can be a little salty for me but it's so fresh. We typically get the regular shake burger and the cheese fries. My boyfriend is the type to "not want fries" but then proceeds to eat half the fries lol so I always know to order them. Their lemonade is sweet and tart.

Waited over 2 HOURS for our food!! Within the 2 hours of us trying to check in on our order they didn't even try to look for it or help us out. They did a terrible job at covering up their annoyance with how many times we had asked about our order. Do you guys really think we love SS so much to hang around for 2 hours?? Speak up and at least try to see where my order is!! By the 10th time I had asked and mentioned we had been waiting for over 2 hours that's when someone finally decided to check on it and what a shocker, they had lost the ticket. Since we had waited so long they even ended up running out of literally all main food items. Fries, doubles, and, chicken all of which were in our order. Needless to say we did not leave satisfied and waisted our precious time. Please be more attentive Shake Shack employees and take care of your customers. Do better.

As a burger enthusiast, I was eager to try out this joint, but alas, my taste buds were left unfulfilled. The patties were a mere shadow of what a burger should be - under-seasoned, lackluster and forgettable. Despite my initial disappointment, I decided to give it another shot, perhaps I was being too harsh? However, the second time around only confirmed my earlier verdict. Even my husband, who had initially cajoled me into giving the place another chance, agreed that the burgers were a far cry from what we had hoped for. To add insult to injury, the condiment containers were a sight for sore eyes - sticky, grimy, and just plain gross. It was as if the cleaning crew had taken the day off, leaving the place in a state of disarray. In a world where burgers are king, this establishment fell woefully short. If you're searching for a burger that will leave a lasting impression, this is not the place for you.

Quality of food has gone downhill and prices have gone up. $80 for dinner for a family of 4 (including tip) for what's effectively a $15 fast food meal... no thank you. Not going back.

The food is always delicious at shake shack! I also got the spicy fries. Definitely worth the price as well and always recommend. I have not tried the burger yet but the chicken shack did not disappoint. Couldn't tell if the service was a little off or if it was just under staffed but overall was a solid experience.

Due to the pandemic they don't take orders in person but on tablets, of which most are disabled so as to create...social distancing? Which it doesn't really because the queue is just crammed awkwardly in front. Seating area is behind a rope line and they really don't check passports even though they say you have the be vaxxed to sit. You'll get a text when your food is ready and even bring it to you for dine-in which is nice service. I got the avo-bacon burger which was unimpressive and came out kind of messy. Their patty is decent but enough lack of attention to detail prevents them from winning any burger battles.

Located in downtown Kirkland in a great spot. Parking is underground 4 hours free with validation. Its the same lot as for QFC. The validation stamper is by the door and you stamp it yourself inside shake shack. Order at their tablet kiosk self serve. They text you when your order is ready. Food wise, not too impressed. My shake burger was burnt and dry. The bread tasted old, the lettuce wilted. The cheese fries were ok. The chocolate pie shake was not that cold. I dont think I'll visit again. There are better burger places.

Finally made it over to this location and damn, it's popular. With all the changes from Covid, the hubs and I ordered burgers and fries for pickup and you could tell they were taking serious precautions when we arrived. The restaurant was closed and pickups were meticulously handed out outside. Most patrons were masked up and standing 6ft apart from one another while waiting for their food. We took our shack burgers and cheese fries down to the Kirkland waterfront and had ourselves a little picnic dinner and it was wonderful. Shake Shack is always consistent with their food and there's nothing like a nice juicy burger on a warm summer evening.

Somewhere in the many folds of the romaine lettuce you will find a delicious smashed burger! We love shake shack and happy they have this one on the eastside. We used to go downtown for our shake shack fix! Love their classic burgers and always branch out to try their seasonal fare too!

This was our first time trying out Shake Shack. We were excited to have a burger, sit in the sun and enjoy the day. We found some street parking (score!) and walked across the street to the restaurant. It wasn't super busy and we only had about 3 people ahead of us ordering at the kiosks. The wait time online for food said about 10-15 min at the time (2 pm). So we order and it says I will be texted when the order is ready. Cool. We get a text also saying this and go sit outside right near the pickup window. The people watching is great and the dog spotting was off the charts. 15 minutes pass. 20. 30. Ok, this is weird. I know the text thing works because they sent the initial one. At 45 minutes I go to the window and talk to the sweetest person named Val. She apologized and said she would go and check on our order as soon as she could. A few minutes later she lets me know she's going to check. And then suddenly she brings our food out. She apologized again and was so very sweet and courteous. Val needs a raise. :) The time on the receipt on our bag was 16 minutes after we ordered. The fries were cold and the burgers looked like they had been sitting. The packaging had no warmth to it. I'm guessing someone dropped the ball and never texted us or actually brought the order out for pickup. We were starving at this point and didn't want to have to wait even longer if we sent it back, so we dug in. The fries would've been really good if they were hot. The burgers (Smoke Shack and Shack Burger) were really tasty even though they were lukewarm. We kept commenting that if they were hot they would've been really good! The Sunset lemonade had nice flavor. We will more than likely be back and give it one more chance. We will order on the app and pick up rather than at the kiosk and see if that helps.

The food is so good. But they have to change their delivery situation. I can't tell you how many times I've placed an order and it was simply canceled because they were too busy. They should not accept 3rd party orders if they cannot handle them. Not only are they inconveniencing their customers, but them selves too. Never deliver from them unless you know they've changed how they take in orders.

Okay big story here, I walked into shake shack and had to wait 5 minutes to get a cashier. So the cashier finally comes and I requested the shake burger politely, and was told they are out of BEEF?! Like what is this? Then I requested a lemonade and they told me THEY WERE OUT OF THERE LEMONADE?! And then I requested a chicken burger with bacon and avocado and once again, they were out of BACON AND AVOCADO!! Now I was getting very mad and finally requested a chocolate shake? And guess what! THEY WERE ALSO OUT OF CHOCOLATE SHAKES TOO? Now don't get me wrong, they had nice waiters and good seating but this is NOT a way to eat at a BURGER RESTAURANT. Only come here if they actually have food. Next time they might not even have water, I'll be having to eat the scraps on the floor.

Since you're charging me for a bag fee even if I dine in and don't use a bag, I'm never coming back. And since you insist on me using a touchscreen to put in my order myself - a touchscreen that hundreds of other customers have touched - and holding onto a plastic order number placard - again, that hundreds of other customers have touched - I'm never coming back. One would have thought businesses like yours would have learned a thing or two after Covid regarding cleanliness and customer safety. At this point I'm not worried about getting Covid but I just think this is gross. ----- In response to Shake Shack's response to my review: STOP sending canned email responses to yelp reviewers. You send the same canned email to everyone that posts a bad review. And it comes only seconds after my review. It's disingenuous and reinforces my desire to stay away from your business.

Love Shake Shack. It's definitely in my top 5 favorite burger joints. This particular spot is in a cool location. You can either walk around and window shop before or after chowing down. The restaurant itself is typically clean. Staff is friendly, but not very attentive. Part of that is because everything is self order. It's cool and I know it's the future but I go to a spot for service as well as the food.

This review is a little late. We went to shake about a few days ago. We were going to take care of errands and decided to stop by for a quick bite. We both got the standard shake shack burger and shared some fries. With the Stay-at-home in affect, we ordered take out on the spot. The server took our order as we stayed outside. After some minutes. We got our food and sat down away from the restaurant to enjoy our meal. Delicious. And just enough to chase away the hunger. They do a good job managing during this difficult time and provide a nice meal to break the monotony of cooking at home.

Who doesn't love a good burger? In a city where there is no In-N-Out, Shake Shack is your best alternative. Let me just being by saying that the employees here are super nice, not sure if that's just a PNW thing or not. Rachid, the GM, took great care of us and made us feel like VIP customers! We turned to Shake Shack to help us cater a large private event and Rachid and team delivered. Rachid told us our order would be rejected by the mobile app and he found a workaround to accommodate us. Needless to say, the event was a success and we cannot thank Rachid and team enough!

This location has plenty of free underground parking and is located by QFC. However, this high end fast food eatery is always busy! But, you can order from your phone to pick up food or the touch screen monitors. The food is ready hot and quickly. I am not a big fan of shakes but this place makes the most indulgent, rich, chocolately, crunchy dessert shakes. So whatever you order...include the shake. We have ordered the chicken strips which is a step up from McDonald's and just okay. The bacon, cheese fries didn't seem really large and the sauce underwhelmed the crinkle fries but tasted yummy. The mushroom and burgers are smaller in size and could be consumed in a few large bites. We don't have large appetites however was still hungry after our meal. Everything we ordered tasted delicious however for the price paid you expect more. I have been to the location in DC and it's much the same in terms of size and taste. I feel like this eatery stretches to be gourmet however misses the mark with the size and cheap paper wrapping. However, I will pay the price when the fast food craving hits because it's a step up from your average, quick pick up joint.

I love going to this location, most of the staff are extremely kind! The food is always delicious. Unfortunately I did notice a worker giving customers dirty looks, and he was extremely rude to the other workers. I asked the staff what his name was, it's either Fred or Frank, I'm unsure. That disappointed me. However they are always super quick at this location with high quality food. There's only one rotten egg in the bunch.

For whatever reason, this feels and TASTES different than the NYC stores, but that must be in my mind. And those perceived differences aside, I'm still 100% in love with the food here. Hits the spot. Sitting outside with full sun can be a little bit of a problem if you can't roll one of the umbrellas over, but that's squarely in #firstworldproblem territory.

Good chicken sammies and their dill sauce is fry sauce worthy. I recommend ordering online even if you want to eat at the restaurant. It can be pretty busy

The service is good, staff is nice, no complaints there I ordered a grilled cheese and it's fairly expensive 4.89$ and it's tiny, child size sandwich I was expecting at least a normal size piece of bread for that price. Nope! It's a kid size sandwich Total rip off

Shake shack. Who does not like shake shack?! Was not too busy when we went but unfortunately only 3 of the 6 ordering stations worked. After placing The order we waited outside at a table. The staff should consider having people wait outside. There was 20 people all crammed inside the foyer looking for their order even though you get a text when your food is ready. About a 10 minute wait for two plain cheeseburgers (for the kids), burger with a lettuce bun and two shack burgers with crinkle cut fries (crinkle cuts are the best type of fries) and a chocolate shake. Never a disappointment and light years better than Dicks.
