Shake Shack

Exactly the experience you'd want from a fast food place on Friday night - good hot food, quick & easy service. Went in around 7 PM on a Friday night and ordered the Veggie Shack burger with no cheese. Very easy to make adjustments using the touchscreen device at the front or with the employee at the register. The Veggie Shack patty was warm and seasoned well - not an Impossible or Beyond meat patty but really good. The fried onions were crispy and the pickles add a nice zing to the burger! The burger sauce was tangy and complemented the soft bun. Krinkle fries are nicely salted with a balance of crunchy exterior and soft interior. It's about $9 for the burger alone + $4 for the fries so a little pricey but pretty standard for burger meals these days. Opted for the free water instead of a drink - I wish that they still had the vegan shakes! :'( The restaurant is brightly lit and in a nice outdoor mall. It was semi-busy but not packed and service was very quick, bringing the food over to our table. Extra mayo, ketchup, and other condiments are self-serve. There is also a water station and cups available. Very accessible, open space. Vegetarian and vegan options available.

First time trying shake shack ever and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Quan made our meal. We got single shack burger add bacon, double shack burger extra pickles, grilled cheese, fries, fountain soda and craft root beer. I didn't know how to use the kiosk and the servers helped me after, very nice. We were offered free refills, while sitting and chatting after finishing our burgers. Fries were good, wish they were hotter but perfect crispy. We really enjoyed our meal and service. Space is clean and located main level of assembly food hall building.

Always ordering fries and burger from here! It was nice and fulfilling. We ordered online to eat for our dinner. I felt the burger could have been more saucy, so I just used my ketchup with it.

Wednesday, 18 September 2024, National Cheeseburger Day, I think I was the very first customer of the day. I ended up ordering the Black Truffle Burger to try and it did not disappoint. Kourtnee was a great cashier and assisted in a fun pay it forward shake for the couple behind me. Wonderful experience all around.

Almost an underrated burger. Bun is nice and soft. Meat is fresh and cooked well. Fries were crispy and not soggy as some places can be. Servers were very friendly. The only knock on the service was that one of the burgers (my sons) had the top bun half off and he said it gets a 4.5 for that! Otherwise great food and service.

This consistently excellent chain is mo different in Nashville. To be clear, it is what it is,a burger and shake place, but the food is consistently above average, the shakes great, and it's a fast food place with decent beer. Put the stuffed mushroom cap on a regular burger and thank me later.

Just your basic burger and hot dog spot. They have kiosks set up so you place your own order. I got a hot, bacon cheese fries and a drink. It tells you to pick a number and they will bring it out, so for this reason I left a tip. They did not bring it to my table, they yelled my name and I went and got my own food. Now I am a firm believer in tipping when it is deserved, but the fact that my name was called and I got my own food.. that does not deserve a tip.. lesson learned there. I won’t complain about the food because it was decent. The hot dog could have had more add on options but it was good with just some ketchup and mustard from the self-serve condiment station. The bacon cheese fries were what you’d expect from a mall food court. Overall it wasn’t a bad lunch for a place I had never tried before.

I’ve never had better customer service in any restaurant. I came in there with my cousin, and she was feeling Ill. The girl came up to us and asked what they could do. they made sure we had everything we needed. Unfortunately, we ended up taking her to the hospital, but the staff was right there to help us with everything we needed. Teresa and the other lady were amazing. We refer Canada and they couldn’t do enough. There is a special place in heaven for people like them. Thank you from the top and the bottom of my heart forever grateful.

This shake shack was super quick to get us our food! It was correctly every time! Best fast-food-type fries in the business, always crispy! The guy who brought our food out was super sweet too! It's super clean in there as well. Rlly quiet.

This Shake Shack is located just a block off of Broadway and sits near one of the entrances to Assembly Food Hall, and for the most part is your standard Shake Shack location. While it is close to Broadway and the food hall, it is kind of hidden in plain sight. Interior is bright and in good condition, cleanliness overall was decent, but the condiment station was in a bit of disarray. The space is good size and features tables inside and out. Ordering can be done on self-service tablets or at the counter. We opted for the tablets, which were a bit slow, but we got through it, selected our table tent number and found a seat. A few moments later our food made its way out. We both opted for cheeseburgers meals with fries and drinks. Cheeseburgers were hot and fresh, as were the fries. The drinks were meh, as the sweet tea was not so sweet and the coke zero was definitely diet coke. Easy remedies, but slightly annoying. While we did not interact with much staff, the food runner was nice. Overall, I am a fan of Shake Shack. While I am not on Broadway often, this is a nice spot to pop into that is slightly off the main path of all the visitors.

I wanted to eat a vegetarian sandwich and Shake Shack was to the rescue. I love the Portobello mushroom sandwich its delicious and a must try! The mushroom was breaded to perfection while its cavity was filled with cheesy goodness. The sandwich had fresh lettuce, tomatoes and bite into it and you would get the meaty mushroom with cheese oozing with the crush from the lettuce. I think I have never been this happy eating a vegetarian sandwich before!

Fast food with a twist and better quality. Could use someone on staff to clean up some though. The tables need wiping and restroom could use some attention. Not filthy either or I wouldn't of eaten here. For the most part it's a incredibly well ran machine. Order on your own @ kiosk or online, customizable options are straightforward. The burgers are good and juicy. The fries are good and crispy. They do accommodate those with Gluten sensitivity, although the cross contamination here, is likely impossible to avoid. Service was just ok but food came out pretty quick considering how busy they were. As far as ambiance goes, it's what you would expect at a burger joint.

Yooooooooooooo! Yesterday my wife and Ali went to Shake Shack downtown Nashville. This was our very first tone every trying the food here. We went around 12:30 and it was a cold from raining earlier but that didn't stop us at all. Upon entering I could immediately smell the food and it smelled amazing! I liked how they had touch screens to order your food however I don't know why they had numbers to take with you to call your number out but for some reason the app didn't ask for the number you had so the employees could call it. That was just minor and wasn't a big deal But I'll tell you what was a big deal. THE FOOD. Let me tell you. This was hands down some of the best food I've had at a fast food chain. Food I ordered 10 chicken nuggets Chicken sandwich Truffle Fries The chicken nuggets were great. They were soft, but yet so crunchy even though I didn't get my bbq sauce it was still good. The chicken sandwich was absolutely amazing( should've gotten two O_o ) and the truffle fries were astounding! I used the truffle fries sauce in substitution for the bbq sauce I didn't get lol, but all in all it was hands down great. I wish there was a location closer to us! All in all we will be back!

Good fast food place to get a quick bite before a show at the Ryman Theatre. (It's across the street ). Just had a burger & chicken sandwich. Cooked to order. Was fresh & hot. Didn't take long to get food. More of a convenience than a destination spot but would visit again if in that area. Is also a good spot to get away from the blaring country music & parade of drunks in cowboy boots swarming Broadway.

Stumbled upon Shake Shack by the Assembly Hall in Downtown on Broadway. I hadn't been to Shake Shack in a very long time as it didn't have a good Vege burger at that time when it first opened up in Houston. To my surprise, I saw the poster of the new Vege Shack and I was in! Tried it out with fries and the strawberry lemonade. The Vege burger was delicious! I'm so glad there's a good vege burger on the menu now. The restaurant wasn't that crowded on the Tuesday night and I got my order in about 10 mins. Nice location.

Stopped by to get lunch. I got the cheese fries and their new truffle mushroom burger. I ordered from the kiosk, paid and waited for my order. My order only took a few minutes (as you would expect at any quick service facility). The burger and fries were delicious and satisfying. The facility is clean and has a modern feel. They have cups for water and a television for entertainment. PARKING: This is downtown, so garage parking is available

The Vegan custard was amazing. The fries were cold, but I would only recommend the shakes.

My first time at a Shake Shack and the food was good. It was quick and easy to order on the touch screens but made customizing the burger nearly impossible (with a few exceptions). If the lines aren't too long I would suggest trying it at least once and definitely get a shake.

The taste of happiness. This downtown location is convenient and in walking distance of Broadway, Bridgestone, and TPAC. The interior is modern and clean. Upon arrival, there are tablets for ordering and cashiers at the front as well. Their menu offers options for all, ranging from custards, hot dogs, chicken, and burgers. The wait was not bad for lunchtime on a Sunday, and we were easily able to find a clean table. The Chick'n bites are antibiotic-free, hand-breaded chicken breast and very similar to Chick-Fil-A. The fries are warm and crispy with a classic crinkle style. The shakes are the thickest in the area, and always have a great flavor. They also have lots of flavor options. The prices are high; however, the quality, flavors, and ambiance are exquisite. This is 1 of only 4 in Tennessee (3 not counting the airport food court). Swing by for a taste of the big city in Tennessee.

Bout ordered 1 of everything as far as hand held and fries! This was one of the best fast casuals I've ever been to for it being my our first time! My family loved everything we had. Highly recommended on my end. SHOUT OUT Mike G for the help cleaning because when I say we were GRUBBIN! It was real deal! The area around was right at the entrance of food hall so it snagged us right away. Not too loud of music so it was a break from all the bands and a lot more family friendly off of Broadway. Shake shack, if I could give 10 stars I would! Y'all did great!

I'm sorry but this is just sad. This is my first time here and I will not eat shake shack again. I don't know if all locations are like this, or this one is just an anomaly, but this was the worst experience ever. First off, we waited 30 minutes for our order. When we asked about our order they said that it was an eight minute wait. Obviously not true. We finally got our food only to bite into a RARE BURGER!! Are you trying to give people E Coli??? I take it back up to be informed by an employee with an attitude that "All burgers are medium, you need to specify well done" UHHHHHH maybe the person at the register should offer that info to people! Where I come from, burgers are ALWAYS WELL DONE DUE TO DISEASE. We had the burger remade but by that point it was a lost cause. Terrible experience. Customer service: Horrifying. Visited Shake Shack for the first time while I was in Nashville. The restaurant was dirty, counters were dirty, the staff could care less! Our food came out cold, our fries were cold. The ordering was easy from the delve serve counter. Not good!

Overpriced, not that clean and not efficient. Took forever to get two root beer floats when they clearly were not busy. The burgers were nothing special and the fries were not hot. I would not recommend them as there are much better burger places in Nashville. Also the chocolate shake my boyfriend had tasted like they just added some nestles chocolate syrup. Not how a legit. chocolate shake Should taste.

I usually like Shake Shack but today it was really off. It might have been the rush that they had due to the weather. But we where running around all day and finally stopped here for food. Entered our order via the kiosk and waited around. The bourbon bacon burger was extremely dry and really just overrode any flavor. My double shack burger was cooked a bit long but was a bit more juicy. Chalk it up to not cleaning the grill off while dropping the hamburgers on it to cook. That crust dried everything up. The fries were cold. Would have tried to get a new set but it was late in the night and just hungry May try again but doubtful. Ps Angela may have been tired from the rush but needs a little more personality.

They got two stars for the location. Burgers for 4 over $100 kinda steep. No, it's way steep. For what we got. All automated, brought our own food to the table and they tried to ask for $10 tip? For what? Feeling ripped off is a terrible way to start dinner. Wasn't worth it.

The best parmesan garlic fries and truffle sauce dip!! They don't skimp on the dip either. I had leftover dip and seriously considered whether I should stash the dip in my bag while walking around on Broadway . The avocado burger I got was also amazing and buttery. Definitely one of my faves! The cran lemonade had the right amount of sweet and tart. I have no complaints about anything. Loved that we could order on the screens and everything was quick and flawless.You receive a text when your order is ready to pickup from the counter. I can't wait to go back for more Shake Shack!

It's in a great location at the Food Assembly Hall. I enjoy their food. The Shroom burger is my go to. It's a self serve type of place. You order at the kiosk and wait on your food number or your name to be called. It's a busy place with many people coming in and out for a quick bite to eat so they can get back on the main drag, so customers can be pretty loud and excited.

Waited 30+ minutes and spent $35 for a couple burgers, fries and shakes. The food was warm, but not hot when we finally got it. Tables were dirty and ketchup dispensers empty. Employees just standing around while a crowd of customers waited for their orders. I've had good Shake Shack experiences elsewhere, but will never come to this location again.

Let's face it this is fast food, but above your normal burger fast food. Made to order,hot and ready fast. It's a little more pricey than Burger King but that's the point and you can pay a little more and get a great meal on the fly. A trip worth making.

What a pleasant restaurant! I am not usually fond or tablet ordering, but this process was easy and fast! They texted you when your order was ready, as well as called out your name! The food was good for being a "fast food" type environment. Although we did not get any shakes, they looked absolutely delicious! This is a great place to stop for a quick bite! The location is perfect for a days visit to broadway!

The worst shake shack I have even been to in my life. It SHOULD NEVER TAKE 40 MINS TO MAKE A HAMBURGER AND FRIES. Got asked "oh, what did you order?!".... A BURGER AND FRIES takes 40 minutes?!?! Would give 0 stars if I freaking could

This Shake Shack location in Nashville is a great place to go for delicious burgers, shakes, and much more. I really like the location and being able to get in and out with exactly what you need. The staff here is very friendly and efficient at getting everything you need. Good experience every time I have been here.

Never had shake shack before & it was my first meal "downtown" in a year due to the pandemic. Beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon after visiting the newly opened NMAAM next door. Impressive burger to say the least. I got the online recommended double shake shack & bacon cheese fries. I guess I understand why people love this place. Will be back!

Was given the wrong order and normally wouldnt be that upset except for the fact whoever was supposed to get this order wouldve received 2 disgustingly melted milkshakes, cold cold burgers & cold fries. It was to the point where it was too repulsive to eat it.

Pretty standard shake shack. One of my favorite fast food burger places. You can expect great food presentation, a clean place to eat, and a tasty smashed-style burger. Make sure to order fries cause they don't come to with!

I ordered something called a "Shrooms Burger". It was a tiny thing that apparently was supposed to have mushrooms cheese INSIDE, was breaded and then deep fried to a golden BLACK. It could not be cut or broken or eaten. I am not sure what it contained or was supposed to taste like but it did not appear to edible.

Rude employees and LOW quality food. Take a look at my burnt patty. Woman behind the counter was not happy when I asked if I could please get a new one. Save your money and go somewhere else.

We walk in. Nice and cool. Not jam packed. Not greeted-walk up to an iPad and place my order. Default is a tip? Why? I haven't interacted with anyone. Dine in. Get my own condiments and napkins. Sit and wait for the text that it's ready. Whoa! There's the text-but no order on the counter. Waiting. Waiting. Okay got order and head to table. Oh-no shake sauce. No avocado on the avocado bacon burger. Head back to the counter. There's the avocado! Hidden under the tiny sliver of a tomato slice. Would I like more avocado? Yes-it's a $1.60 or more than without it. The crinkle fries were sad, several overcooked but not hot. So after that-burger quality good enough to eat. But, won't visit this Shake Shack in Nashville again.

Simple but good burgers and hot fries. Service was fast and the burgers were delicious. We were about $60 in for four people and the single burgers are a little bit small but I think it was worth the experience.

The manager here is rude, intolerant of allergies, and unhelpful. I ordered online with specifications and due to their system. I walked in as they were closing and the manager ran me right out of the place without helping me at all Disgrace

Visited this location and the restaurant was somewhat busy. There was a small line to place our order but nothing to signal the long wait that was coming. We placed our order through the kiosk and were sent a text message notifying us that we would receive another text when the order was ready. It took 30 minutes for our order to be ready (order placed at 7:44, picked up at 8:14). When the order was ready, the employee shouted the name on our order, no text was sent as previously mentioned. The food was hot, however they forgot bacon on one of the burgers. Which I found odd considering we ordered two of the exact same burgers. This was not a huge deal, things happen. It just seems as if this location was trying to cover themselves by not sending text confirmations so that less people "have proof" their order took as long as they did. We talked with a few other customers and their orders were all taking just as long. In addition to the long wait, the ketchup dispensers were completely out and the condiment counter was a mess. Overall, I would not recommend visiting this location.

If you want a TRULY AMAZING fresh, hot, mouth watering burger and cheese fries, PLEASE go! We have always wanted to try Shake Shack and we were excited to go for lunch. I will say though, it was $40+ for 2, but it's a'la carte, at least at this location. I guess the lady who worked there knew that I had never been there before, as I looked around quite lost. She was so sweet & I was waiting for my husband, but she said, "surprise him." I ordered him a double bacon cheeseburger w everything on it & cheese fries. I got myself the bacon jam burger (which I usually am not a fan of sweet on a burger). She talked me into an order of spicy fries lol. I also got a Sprite & a bottle of water. You get a table number stand & find a table. This was the only difficult part of the visit. You really need to be fast and watch for an opened table. We went outside to the patio. Our order took about 10-15 minutes, but the gentleman who brought it to us was so nice and accommodating. He even asked if we would like some Shack sauce, which I have heard is a must. Goodness gracious y'all! This food was INCREDIBLE. One of the best burgers I have ever had and the bacon jam was delicious. It was very nutty sweet and added so much flavor! Those cheese fries were the BEST I HAVE EVER HAD, hands down!! The Shack sauce was INCREDIBLE! Don't forget it....it's life changing lol. The spicy fries were a little too spicy for me, but fresh. The patio area was very nice with a beautiful view of the flower lined shops nearby. Definitely a must try!

The food was fine, but the service was absolutely terrible. They were rude and didn't have good communication. They also didn't get our orders right and continued to charge us for it.

Worst service ever, the employees will not answer questions. They have AirPods in and when I asked why my order was taking over 40 minutes they had no idea why it was taking that long. Worst service ever

Super disappointing, we waited for over 30 minutes attempting to be patient, and I finally got it to counter Asshole is going to be, the girls one on the counter Avenue. had not received the text message alerting me our food was done. The young girl behind the counter said "it's her fault" when I asked them to remake our float that had been sitting so long it was warm. Her manager came over and offered to remake it. their employees should be trained not to be rude. We are here frequently as we're locals, but we won't be back.

Well, unfortunately, someone in our group chose Shake Shack. I got online to view the menu. They offer nothing healthy, nothing un-fried or un-breaded. . Is there any way you could at least offer one item for those of us who don't eat that kind of food....or for folks on a temporary special diet? I mean, even a Greek yogurt to intake some protein without bread and extra fat. That would be a good idea...and would probably increase your customer base.

On the 4th of July we bought our 102-year-old world war II veteran father to his favorite "Shake shack! Shannon O'Connor, the manager took such good care of him! as always the burger was juicy delicious crisp fries and a nice cold Coca-Cola started his afternoon for Independence Day 2021! Thank you Shannon and the entire staff at shake shack Nashville Tennessee!

The same great Shack Burger, fries, and shake I know from NYC! Love the convenient location in downtown Nashville! And it's great that they have outdoor seating! Have a feeling I'll be coming here quite a bit... :)

Food was great! Additionally, the staff was wonderful. While attempting to order, a local homeless man came in behind us. He seemed under the influence. He continually got very close to my friend and I and the staff at this location recognized that we were uncomfortable and dealt with the situation accordingly, without shaming the man. Very professional.

Delish! Food was so good.....the reason it lost stars was the staff legit just stares at you while you're struggling with the self order machine.

The kiosks weren't working and they were severely understaffed. The girl behind the counter was very busy and seem to put out that she had to actually take an order from a human being. We waited probably 20 to 30 minutes for food it was delicious because Shake shack is the bomb, however they gave us paper straws with our incredibly thick shakes and basically the straw just became part of a shake so that was kind of a drag. If you don't mind putting up with a bunch of BS to get food then go for it.
