Moving into Terminal 1 and filling an impossible-to-miss 4,875-square-foot space inside the rotunda leading to A and B Gates, the interior furniture is in place, neon signage spelling out 'burgs, burgs, burgs' is lit, the kitchen is cooking, and the new staff is in the final stages of their onsite training. Early plans for the counter-service restaurant projected a maximum occupancy of 229 inside the open space, featuring the same seating found at other valley locations and taking full advantage of the rotunda’s huge arched windows and views of the airport’s planes and runways.
