Shake Shack Piedmont Park

This experience was truly unexpected before coming here. My date and I were on our first outing together, and we initially chose what we thought was a higher-end restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately, the experience fell short, leaving us still hungry and craving something more satisfying. To turn the evening around, I decided to take her to Shake Shack—her very first time visiting one—and this location happened to be the nearest option. I'm so glad we came because the experience exceeded our expectations. The location was beautiful, the staff were mostly friendly, and the restaurant was impeccably clean when we arrived. We placed our order and initially planned to enjoy our meal on the patio. However, it was getting chilly, and the staff was beginning to close the outdoor seating area, so we opted for takeout instead. In a pleasant surprise, the staff gave us a couple of extra drinks they were planning to discard, and those drinks turned out to be fantastic! For my date, the visit was a delightful introduction to Shake Shack, and she mentioned she’d definitely return. As for me, although it was my first time at this particular location, I’ve been to several Shake Shack outlets before, and this one lived up to the high standards I’ve come to expect. The food was prepared perfectly, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a good experience. I ordered the truffle burger with cheese fries, while she chose the chicken sandwich with bacon cheese fries. Everything was cooked to perfection—the burger patty was well-done, just the way I like it. The only minor improvements I’d suggest are adding a bit more fried onion to the burger and a bit more ice in the drinks. Other than that, the food hit the spot and made for the perfect ending to our date. The only aspect I’d change is the ability to sit and enjoy our meal at the restaurant, as it felt a bit like they were rushing to close the seating area. However, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. This location left a great impression on both of us, and I’ll definitely be back.

A friend invited me to this spot after hanging out in Midtown Atlanta on a Friday evening. It was the perfect choice to grab a good burger and fries. I opted for the Veggie Burger which I was pleased to see on their menu. They even have dairy free shakes. I must say the burger was tasty. My friend and I enjoyed sitting out on the patio. This place in conveniently located in the heart of Midtown right at Piedmont Park, next to Willie's. Our order was brought out by Abby, who had the best attitude and friendly service. Her presence really elevated our experience and I look forward to going back. Thanks for the EXCELLENT service Abby. It's attitudes like yours that make me feel good about spending my money at restaurants in this city. It makes a world of difference.

Food is always good, and atmosphere right on the park is awesome. Great outdoor seating. Service is always pretty poor and you might have to wait a while even when your food is ready, they just simply won't call it out from the window. All in all this place is your pretty standard shake shack, but is the best fast food burger around here.

Went here a couple times on our last trip! Got one of the last parking spots each time. It's a self order restaurant where you walk up to a tablet and place your order and take a number. The digital interface was simple to use and offered a good user experience. When placing your order you grab a number and put that in. If taken out, they call your number when ready, otherwise they bring it out to your table on the large patio outside. We both loved our shakes, peach cobbler and strawberry glazed donut. The shake oddly tasted just like the doughnut! The burger patios were well seasoned for a fast food restaurant. I enjoyed the Carolina BBQ burger which came with deep fried pickles, smoky bacon and the specialty BBQ sauce. My wife had the Shack Stack which comes with a burger patty and Shroom deep fried patty. She loves mushrooms and this did not disappoint. The patio is a nice spot to eat a meal.

It's a nice place to chill out beside the park. The order area is quite crowded when I was there and waiting area is quite small but outdoor dinning area is pretty good and airy. The fries were really good. Also, they have self service water to drink. They also have 2 restrooms.

Thank you guys so much for helping me when I was sick. I really appreciate the team members bringing me water and ice, walking me to the car, and just being there for me. It meant a lot and truly made me feel better. I’m so grateful for your care and kindness. ❤️

This location has a bit of a rough patch when it comes to parking! Yet the food is wonderful! Had a double patty with added pickles! Mango lemonade for thirst! The team was young and a little rowdy yet they are on top of everything! Will be back eventually! Great job for this location!

The best burgers I’ve had in Atlanta. Cane over from Canada to visit and tried out this establishment. The burgers were juicy and flavourful, the fries were crispy and cooked properly, and the shakes were delicious and filling. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great burger experience

I stan Shake Shack! This location has parking with a large shared outdoor patio. No seating inside of the restaurant. The service was quick and the restaurant seemed clean. I ordered the classic shack burger, added onions and pickles. Also, got an order of the Parmesan truffle fries. The truffle sauce is delicious and with strong truffle flavor. The burger was perfectly cooked! All around great option for a "fast food" burger given the quality of ingredients.

I am a big fan of Shake Shack. This location is by Piedmont Park with seating outside only. You can order and pick up at the small stand inside. The staff is nice. The burgers and fries are always delicious.

After an event at the Botanical Gardens, my party of 7 stopped by this location for dinner. Our first Shake Shack vlimited but I lucked up on a handicap spot in the front. It looked like there were only about 12 spots in the front. There is parking in the back also, but I don't know the logistics. We were greeted upon entry & placed our orders at the kiosks. There is no indoor seating here, which was fine because it was freezing inside. We grabbed seats outside & Taylor delivered our food shortly after ordering. I was pleasantly surprised that with such a large order, EVERYTHING was correct!! The food was delicious. My burger was cooked to perfection. The chicken sandwich was heavenly & the chicken bites were tender & juicy with great flavor. I am a fan! Taylor came & checked on us a couple of times & made sure we were satisfied & had drink refills to go. I'm not sure if this is standard procedure, but I love good customer service & he nailed it! Keep up the good work, ya'll!!! See you again soon!!

Walking in, it's a great lil shake shack right on Piedmont. Super quick, super convenient. Also really clean inside! But JORDAN, the girl who works inside, is THE best. She made my quick pit stop fun & rememberable. She immediately greets everyone with a beautiful smile, she's very personable, yet quick on her feet the entire time. I will be coming back to this location literally just for her service. Thanks again Jordan!

Located at the twelfth street entrance to Piedmont park, it takes up the empty space right next to Willy's. Visited on opening night, the service was prompt and friendly. They offered us a refill on our drink. Food was standard Shake Shack fare. The patio is pet friendly and they sell dog biscuits. But at eight dollars not sure I will get them again in the future.

After many failed attempts at a primo location by Piedmont Park, Shake Shack for the win. I'd never been to *any* Shake Shack, so I figured I'd give it a try with my son and one of his gal pals. hoo boy, it was amazing. I had the truffle burger and fries, which was quite simply one of the best burgers I've ever had. (*digesting* said burger was another matter entirely, but I digress.) Location? can't be beat. speed of service? amazing. modern and spiffy? yes indeed. I'll go back in a heartbeat on cheat day but just make sure to exercise afterward.

My husband and I stopped in on a Sunday after a stroll at the park with our dog. It's a great addition to the neighborhood. Ordering the food was easy, seating was convenient, and the facility was clean. There's a dog friendly patio and the staff is amazing. We love Shake Shack!

After leaving Atlanta Botantical garden. Decided to go to a new place. Ordering was quick. A simole menu. I had th Shack Stack. Regular burger with fried mushroom patty. Very good and highle recimmend.Quick service. Went on a holiday so not crowded an no parking issues

I was reminded today not to expect all Shack Shakes to be the same. I truly disliked all the restaurants in LA. The Shake Shack at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia was the polar opposite of those I had experienced in California. The food was absolutely delicious and actually hot and fresh. The customer service was so friendly and helpful that I thanked the woman who helped me with my order. The establishment was very clean and inviting unlike the eatery directly beside them. Yes, the food is a little pricey but it was so worth it for today's experience. I got the Double Bacon Bourbon Jam Burger and Cheese Fries, and my mouth is still watering thinking about how perfectly delicious it all was. I am so glad I checked this place out because it was excellent. I will definitely return for more.

I love Shake Shack so much! To be a quick "fast food" considered burger it's the best hands down! I always get the Shack Stack. The buns are really soft and flavorful (it seems like they cook them in butter which adds to the taste). The ingredients seem fresh and I love the shake sauce sauce. I highly recommend the bacon cheese fries too. Liquid cheese and crispy bacon...say no more! They're super good! They also had amazing service! I liked the tablets used for quick ordering and that they text you when your order is ready for pickup at the counter. LeClara (one of the amazing employees) offered us water while we were waiting for our food and we had some great exchanges with her! She was super kind and attentive to if we needed anything. She offered truly great service which added to the overall experience!

One of my favorite burger places in the east coast! The food embodies the American spirit, greasy, meaty goodness. I ordered the double stack burger with the spicy fries and boy do they have a kick to em. The fries are nice and crispy, too. The ambiance was very casual with only out side dining at this location. Service is mainly self order, they bring it your food, then you self seat and service yourself. Until the east coast gets In-n-out, shake shack will continue to be one of my top burger joints.

This new location is in a great spot. The menu is the same as all other locations. I was going to an event in Piedmont Park and needed a meal to go. The lobby is small, not more than 10 people fit comfortably. There's 3 kiosk to order food. You put in your name and telephone number and they will text you so you don't need to wait in there. Theres a shelf inside for orders placed but there's also a window outside where a person will give you your order. Best part is there are 2 good sized bathrooms inside. Outside there lots of space to sit, wait and eat and a small parking lot. There's ketchup dispenser with cups and lids. Other condiments you can get from someone behind the counter. I wonder how things will be done when the weather turns cold but I'm glad they are there.

Staff was extremely helpful, patient, and kind. This was my first time at this location. The parking is the worse but that's expected in this area. They do have a very small parking lot but it was of course full. Overall experience was good! Next time I will order ahead and order at at the park!

Super salty burger and fries full of salt! Maybe if I could get both without salt it would be fairly decent but I got a burger yesterday and I couldn't finish it due to the added salt on the burger and the fries

Love this place and the environment it is in. When it's cold they turn on the heaters which is also a great taste to sitting outside during the Fall.

Shake Shack is probably my favorite burger chain and this one is no different! Located in Piedmont Park next to Willy's, this shack is very pedestrian friendly for all park-goers. With that being said, parking can be a tad hairy- they do have a very small free parking lot that is very abruptly located off Piedmont Ave. You are able to order via app and pick up at the walk up window, but you can also order inside normally. The inside is very small and there are no tables, but they do have restrooms. All of the tables are outside on the really cutely lit patio that is facing the park and the lovely Piedmont Ave. The food and service is consistent with any other Shake Shack I've been to. My go-to is a shack stack and cheese fries. A great quick option if you're at Piedmont Park and looking to grab a bite or have a lil picnic!

First time trying this place and the food was great! Slightly pricey after ordering fries and a drink but the burger was affordable (~$8) and really tasty. Was able to park there as well so very easy to get in and out of being right in the middle of a busy area.

Love the outdoor seating! Food is always hot and crispy. You do have to get the food yourself but they also try to serve it to you, so service can get a bit confusing. Always great eating outside.

After several visits since my last review, I see an improvement in the way the pickup orders are handled and the team has been attentive to those waiting for pickup. Food is consistently great. The seating is outdoor only, and they have designated parking spots for pickup orders. Placing an order is easy on the app, inside on the screens for card payment and they also have a register for those with cash, or those who have trouble with ordering from the screen.

I resently starting eating beef to help heal my broken wrist! And this place was on my bucket list because of the quality of the ingredients they use in their food! I watched a YouTube video of the foods that were good to eat and which ones to bypass! I'm giving this place 3 stars because of how frustrating it was to obtain a order, from placing the order on their app, trying to paying for the order and using Google to get to the location during rush hour traffic! It took several attempts to place the order. The app kept kicking out my payment! Twice it told me my cards were invalid! I even called the restaurant only to be told they don't accept phone orders and i should try Doordash and choose "pickup"! I decided to get I one last shot before giving up! After removing the cheese fries, my order went through! I guess really I didn't need them! I used the link on the app to navigate to the location! I knew the directions were suspected when Google drove to the middle of a empty field and announced "You've Reached Your Destination!" Only to find out I was 5 minutes away in the wrong direction in rush hour traffic! I finally made it to the location before they composted my order! Once I got home I threw both cheese burgers in the airflyer to keep warm while I made my own potatoe wedges in the airflyer! The 1st thing I notice when it was taking the burgers apart was the amount of grease on the buns, it was alot! Then I notice the lack of vegetables on the buns, but I pushed on away hoping for the best! Once the potatoes wedges were ready, I reconstructed the burgers! I added spinach, some homegrown tomatoes, some more cheese, mustard and some Dukes! I have to admit once you got passed the grease, the burgers was really good and you could taste the meat! The black n white shake I had was the best I've ever had and really helped wash down the grease! I was really impressed and really enjoyed it! I can honestly cross the Shake Shack off my bucket list!

Nicest host. The older woman outside who brought a bowl to our dogs and refilled our drinks was the absolute sweetest. Have never felt so welcome! Hope she's always there :)

I'm new to the Shake Shake experience. The Shroom burger was a fun twist! I may explore the menu again.

First time at this location. And I won't be back. For starters, no one greeted us when we got to the counter. they continued with their conversation as if we weren't standing there. (side note they only take your order if you're paying cash. if you're using a card then you have to use the machines.) After placing our orders it didn't take too long to receive the food. The food was good, My mom had to change drinks twice because they were too bitter. The service was ok. However, the young guy that helped my mom and I once he saw our confusion was very polite. Ambiance was cute, and it looked clean.

This was my first time to this location...it was cool an convenient...parking was a little congested cause it was lunch time...Marquis was very polite and welcoming an very professional...LeClara was also friendly with great customer service...i ordered the chicken sandwich w/ bacon cheese fries & lemonade...I will definitely be back again for a second visit....

They kept getting my order confused with someone else's but the food was good. Ordered to go and the boxes the fries come in are very smart so they don't get soggy on your way home!

This place doesn't have their act together. The ordering process is quick and easy. They texted me my order was ready. Then they said they couldn't find my order. My order was a single hamburger and a bottle of water. They looked for it a few times. Couldn't find it. Couldn't find a burger in a burger place! They gave me a refund. I went next door and got a burrito

Delicious chicken sandwich. But - if you're ordering from the app for pick-up and it says 10-15 minutes they're just joking with you. Add another 10-15 to that. Slowwwwwww - I picked up at a lower traffic time (3:45pm) - nobody ordering but at least 15-20 employees in the kitchen. No idea what they were doing. I hope they get things streamlined as this location will be hopping on busy days and weekends.

My first visit! Great burger and fries!!! Cold night but outdoor heaters was awesome!

Stopped here for lunch after visiting the botanical gardens. The restaurant was very clean, ordering was easy at the kiosks, the bathrooms inside were clean and the food came out awesome as usual! The best part of the experience was the lady outside who was walking around greeting everyone, bringing you condiments if you needed or even water. What a gem! I hope management passes on this compliment to her and shows her some appreciation because people make the difference.

I ordered the 'shroom burger and a chocolate shake, $15 after taxes. Both the burger and the shake much smaller than I excepted. The burger was disappointing. I tasted more cheese than mushroom. The shake tasted like a Wendy's frosty as cost twice the price of a frosty. I'm finished and still hungry. I'm not a big eater.

The BEST experience I've had! Clean, courteous, and quick! I can't recommend this place enough! Just wish they did refills.

Not only is the atmosphere and food amazing but the customer service as well. LeClara was my server and she was the sweetest woman! She saw that I was super sweaty coming from the park after my flag football game and brought me water while I waited on my food and drink. Then after I was finished eating she came by and picked up my trash before I even had time to take it to the trash myself. I had to ask for her name because I wanted to make sure she gets the recognition she deserves !

One of the guys working tonight was sooo rude. He snapped at me for asking for a side of cheese sauce on the side. They barely drizzled sauce on my fries so I asked for a side. He took my bag off of my arm and threw away the fries I had when I literally just asked for a side of sauce. He told me that he didn't have to give it to me and i asked why is he trying to fight with me over cheese sauce. I'm still confused about why he was acting like i asked for his first born. I didn't mind paying for it but was never given the option. He had such a horrible attitude but eventually gave me new fries with a side of sauce. And my burger had to crispy burned patties on it

I really love the food, and the service was quick and great! I love the ambiance of the place, and it was a nice, breezy day to eat on the patio. Our dog Blue really appreciated the Puppicini she got and gives 5/5 paws! We will come again!

Stopped by with some friends after a local festival and the food was soooo good. It was my first time trying Shake Shake and I really enjoyed the burger. The employee, Hailey, was very attentive. She came over to our table several times to ask how everything was and ask if we need anything. She made my experience even better. Thanks Hailey!! I'll be back.

Hailey was awesome. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked in on our outdoor table several times to ensure we were taken care of. She also gave us recommendations for items on the menu and which shake was the best. Definitely recommend coming back

Terrible. Ordered on the app, arrived around the promised time. Checked in with the window was rudely told my food was not ready. The patio was chaos, dirty, people were openly smoking pot. I waited another 15 mins before I received a text that my order was ready. Walked the 2 blocks home and despite the high turnover in food my order was cold and greasy. It was totally inedible and went into the trash after a couple of bites. This seems to be another case of a brand over expanding and losing its focus. Would be okay if that reported sinkhole under the restaurant opened up and swallowed this mess.

food is good but would be better if there was a cooking temperature option for your burgers... instead of cooking them medium for everyone without allowing a choice.

I loved this Shake Shack. Amazing customer service. Today, I went to get a order with my family and for some reason the card wasn't going through although it said approved and charged me. Immediately someone came over to fix our problem , and because he was really generous gave us a discount. Thank you Shake Shack!

I had a shockingly bad experience. Ordered on the app and went to the window - I waited 5 minutes and they still didn't call me so I spoke with the worker manning the window - and she said my order wasn't ready. 20 minutes later after her looking for my order multiple times, they finally found my order which had been getting cold for 20 minutes. When I asked for the order to be remade since it was cold and the shakes were melted - they refused saying it was my fault that I didn't check on my order earlier (even though I spoke to an employee 3x). The manager, Marcus, then yelled at me and said I was lying and had not been waiting for 20 minutes. He again refused to remake the food because it was somehow my fault and then told me I could either take the food or be refunded. Then walked away and made me wait longer to get my refund from a worker. Unprofessional and rude. I would be fired if I ever behaved like that at work and I believe he deserves the same.
