Shake Shack Is Opening a Location in Midtown Atlanta Just Outside Piedmont Park | Eater Atlanta

"I learned that a new Danny Meyer–backed Shake Shack is headed to the outskirts of Piedmont Park in Midtown, taking a currently vacant space beside the Piedmont Park Conservancy’s community center and Willy’s Mexicana Grill near the park’s 12th Street entrance; demolition has already begun but no opening date was provided. This will be the chain’s sixth metro-Atlanta location (existing sites in Buckhead, the Perimeter, Old Fourth Ward and Concourse A at Hartsfield-Jackson), while a separate fifth location with a drive-thru is set to open later this year in a former Burger King in Alpharetta." - Beth McKibben
