Shake Shack Rice Village

Shake shack burgers taste the same wherever you go, but the quality of the burger assembly was a bit of a disappointment when I went. The burgers were a bit thinner than I remembered, but they still tasted delicious. All three terminals were operational when I went, no fuss there. I’ve seen some reviewers ticking off a star from paid parking at this location, but if you park in the parking garage not too far from shake shack you’ll receive free parking for X time. The interior was clean and tidy and food arrived decently fast. Self serve water cups are always nice.

The beef was way better than chicken. So we only liked the beef burger. The fries was ok. It was hot inside Indoor. Great staff helpful and friendly..

The burgers here never fail to satisfy me. I absolutely love having my cheat days here. A bit expensive but honestly, even McDonald’s is overpriced these days, and thats trash compared to what you’re getting here. Everything was tasty, can’t wait till next time.

Ordered online. A plain bacon cheeseburger and a hot dog. They missed the cheese in the burger. The hot dog was burnt black. Even ketchup and mustard couldn't stop it from tasting burnt. The burger and hot dog were so small, definitely not worth the ridiculous price. And they charge for parking, as if they don't make enough from the overpriced food. There is also only 1 handicapped spot. Terrible place overall.

Visited twice—no one answers the phone, and when you mention it, they act completely shocked. They ran out of chocolate for the Dubai Shake before noon, yet still offer a black-and-white milkshake? On top of that, I had to pay $3 for parking. The employee just told me to “have a good day.” Never again.

Incredibly rude staff. My sister was going to use her military id for a military discount and the cashier asked her if she had it as if he didn’t believe her. With LOTS of unnecessary attitude. later we wanted to switch a Dr Pepper for a Coke because the soda was flat. And the staff asked “what’s wrong with your drink?” As if she didn’t want to switch it out. And then she complained about everyone complaining about the soda and reluctantly handed over another soda as if it were such a pain. Do not recommend eating at this location.

Stephanie asked if I was ready to order I didn’t have on my glasses and wasn’t familiar with the menu. She walked me through figuring out what I wanted, then rang up my order with the biggest smile the whole time. I could have been depressed and her positive energy and heart-felt smile would have made me happy. She made me feel like she was taking care of me - she was- and it was just a wonderful feeling after a long day- for both of us!

Self service style ordering with three kiosks and a person to hop on when the line begins to form. The basic smash burger is perfect, I wouldn’t add anything to it. I had one with bacon and peppers, it was good, but those toppings weren’t really needed.

ShakeShack was running a BOGO promotion this week for the SmokeShack. It's been a while since I ordered ShakeShack as the Galleria location closed. I placed an order online for pickup. When I arrived, my order was ready. No wait time at all. Ordered 2 SmokeShacks... one regular with bun and another without bun. Both were very tasty but a little salty. I also ordered a side of ShakeShack sauce and slathered it on. Yum! I gave 4 stars bec I checked the ketchup upon checkout and it wasn't included. Place is big and clean. It was late so not many cars for easy parking. There were a few spots also available for curbside pickups.

Shake, shake, shake your burger. Great place to pick up a burger, chicken shack, fries and a shake. Used a T-mobile coupon. Love those Tuesday bonus coupons. Wanted something different, so I ordered the Thai tea milk shake. If you like Thai tea, this was such a delicious twist. So good. Definitely needed some extra Zumba classes this week for this one. Lucky to find street parking. Ordered to go on the kiosk then did a little birthday shopping (for my nurse), came back and picked up my to go order. So easy!! So, just shake, shake, shake your burger and your Thai tea shake.

The food was great and the servers were friendly. It was a pretty big location but was very busy. We went during lunch on MLK day and there so many customers. The crinkle fries were super crunchy and the burger was a perfect combination of everything.

I got the fried mushroom burger and it was amazing! The crispy mushroom patty was perfectly fried. The bun was soft, and the toppings were fresh. Definitely a great option for vegetarians or anyone looking for something different from the usual burger.

I was less than impressed with this location. I stopped by on a lunch break since I'd received an offer on my phone and I hadn't been to Shake Shack in months. I'd ordered online and showed up during the pick up window. They're very clear that if you're late they'll toss your food, which is a detriment to ordering online in my opinion. The last thing I need is negative messaging while in traffic on my way to pick something up. The decor is up to Shake Shack's common standards. Fancy signage, ultamodern furniture. It looks like one of those memes for places that are overpriced, but with a specific color scheme The Shackburger itself was underwhelming. I've been to three other Shake Shack locations and this was easily the smallest burger I'd received out of all of them. The ingredients were fresh, but based on the size it felt like I'd have gotten better value at a Wendy's. I'd ordered online and there was no option to modify the drink, so I got the typical 80% ice, 20% tea nonsense they pour. $4 for four ounces of tea is ridiculous. Even worse, they keep the refill station behind the counter, so you have to stand at the counter and wait for the workers to stop chatting and decide to help you. I probably won't be back here anytime soon.

Breaking up with shake shack was traumatic for me. And this is why I love yelp. We resolved the issue and the customer service was superior. This particular location has always had me in a chokehold because it's clean and convenient and it's great even when the burger is plain. I'm looking forward to getting back in my booth.

Vibe- This is the shake shack in Rice Village and it's a nice location. There's plenty of outdoor seating and a good amount of seating inside. They have burgers, shakes (dairy free options), and wine. Customer service- Great! Food/drinks- I got the veggie shack (good but not amazing) without cheese and if I would've got the gluten free bun it would've been 100% vegan :) and an order of regular fries. Parking- I could've walked to one of the garages around the area and got some free parking but who wants to do that when there's a lot right by the restaurant. There are signs for you to pay to park in the lot so I probably won't dine in this location often for that reason.

I'm not sure what happened but there have been a lot of changes since I last went to a Shake Shack. Number 1, you don't order at the counter, you order from a kiosk machine and then you watch the workers tackle your order like an assembly line. You would think that given the ordering system that there would be less chance for error but that was not true. I ordered my veggie burger and fries for take out yet they served mine on a paper tray. When they checked my receipt to confirm that it was for take out all they did was put the paper tray in a large bag instead repacking the food. This type of packing meant that my burger was exposed to the air and cooled down quite a bit. As for the taste of the burger, it was salty but that is not surprising since most veggie burgers contain much more salt than its meat analogues. However, I'd just rather go to Hopdoddy's on the other side of the Rice Village. For two dollars more, you get a tastier and larger veggie burger .

Shake Shack and In N Out are my personal favorite fast food burgers, even though, S S here isn't really fast food. I ordered both a Single and a Double Burger with just lettuce, tomato and cheese on each. That's it. Both very juicy, good quality and very delicious. The buns were soft and fresh. The tomatoes n lettuce were very fresh and cool. The meat and cheese were very savory, seasoned well and flavorful. However, the service was nothing remarkable. I also think that punch-in computer system for ordering is really stupid and inconvenient unless it's really busy maybe. Shame on you. It's so much better for customers to just come up, say their order, wait and receive.

It's been a while since I've been to a Shake Shack. I ordered a basic cheeseburger and added avocado. Tasted great. Fries were hot and crispy. I even ordered the Strawberry Peach Tea which was delicious. The thing that bugs me is the sauces. Their Shack sauce is not that great. They don't have mayo, ranch, or any sort of other sauces readily available. Service is counter service but there is someone that cleans the table and can help which is great. For the price, there are diners and other places for cheeseburgers.

Customer service was excellent upon arrival. Everyone was very helpful and polite. They have kiosk for you to place your order. I can see that being a problem during busier hours. They have plenty of seating inside and outside. The food is made fresh so it may take some time. They have metered parking unless you are lucky enough to find street parking. We ordered 2 shake shack burgers, creamsicle float and curly fries. Our total was $28 dollars which is more on the pricey side. I don't eat fast food so it was worth the splurge for me. Definitely will be back.

Go to burger place is Shake shack or in-n-out. Everything fresh and same taste. Tried shroom stack burger was ok, cheeseburger and fries great as usual. Also tried chicken bites, not bad. Clean and good place in the Rice Village area. Parking is inconvenient in this area unless you want to pay.

Amid all the chain businesses in Rice Village, it only seems fitting to have a Shake Shack as part of its lineup. It perfect suits the local crowd and is open later than most of the nearby eateries. For Shake Shack fans, this location is convenient by proximity, but is a lot like the rest of the Shake Shacks in the city. It feels admittedly weird to go from seeing the original location in Madison Square Park nearly daily back in NYC to now seeing this place all the time whenever I'm driving along Kirby. Even if the lot looks empty (#1), there's probably going to be a solid crowd. Customer service is a mixed bag but they're not the best. I've had botched orders and folks who never greet but I've come to expect this here. Often times there is such a bottleneck in the front, that ordering through the Shake Shack app seems to make the most sense. They're not great with the curbside delivery, so self-pickup via their shelf is sometimes the best option. As for the food, I'm always going to be a lover of the curly fries and shackburger / smoke shack, even if it's become a little absurd with the pricing. I wouldn't call this an everyday kind of meal, but they still are a better option than most of the other fast food options nearby. ___________ (#1) Paid parking at RV. Thanks Super Bowl 2017.

I use to be a fan of shake shack until today . $10 burger that was 3 1/2 inches big max. Smaller than whataburger JR burger, they use to be a little bigger , now a child's burger . They didn't allow a double/tripple patty for some reason , we could only chose a single patty and they are thin . $8 small cheese/bacon fries , barely had enough cheese or bacon. $4 SMALL drink . For a $25 meal it was very disappointing, didn't fill me up, and I am a very small woman . Had to order my fiance a second burger which is crazy . We also have to pay for parking for this location . These prices are average , but omg the burgers are so tiny for the price . Would have had a better night at whataburger . I've never written reviews before but I was so disappointed with my dinner tonight I felt I had to lol.

After having several friends say some rendition of "WHAT!? YOU HAVE NEVER HAD SHAKE SHACK!?!?" I figured it is about time, so my girlfriend and I decided to grab it on our way home tonight. We ordered through the mobile app and I went in to pick it up. It wasn't overly busy but the inside looked pretty futuristic but still inviting. There was one person in front of me at the register but after the waitress finished ringing them up she made eye contact with me and walked away. I stood there alone in front of the register smiling as several staff members walked past the register, made eye contact and smiled back, and then continued walking. Some joked around with each other and one pulled out her phone and made a call. Finally, after ten minutes of staring at my order just out of reach behind the counter, I said "Excuse me! I'm here to pick up", and a waitress came over and helped me. Some other people mentioned the service here is bad but to be honest this was pretty annoying. The food itself was just okay. We got a shack burger, an avocado bacon burger with fries, and a cookies and cream milkshake. The burgers were not the best. To give you an idea, I would say they are better than McDonald's but not better than Whataburger. The fries were pretty good, I feel like you don't see crinkle-cut fries at most restaurants and it was nice to change it up. The cookies and cream shake was not very good. I wasn't a fan of the taste of it as well as how big the actual Oreo chunks were as they would sometimes be so big they clogged the straw, but some people may like this as I get it is a personal preference. Although the price point is not unreasonable, I feel like your money can take you a lot further at a local burger spot and unfortunately, I just don't really get the hype about Shake Shack.

The only reason I gave two star the food is great but when you get big attitude from the employees they make your day awful and not enjoy your meal they where 10 minutes late I had two employees approaching my table and told me next time when you order on the app you can't ask for dine in they said the GM Michelle Denissen told them to tell me What a disappointment coming out of GM for Shake Shack I know I'm not the rules of Shake Shack. They always been good with Michel. Did that's called. Bad customer service. I will be in contact of her boss Teddy.

The quality of this location has gone seriously downhill lately. I stopped by to grab a quick bite before heading to the med center and the burgers my husband and i ordered were quite literally raw inside. I'm not one to shy away from a medium burger but at a fast food place i was totally skeeved out by the pink patty and asked them to remake the burgers. Low and behold they came out raw again. We didn't even bother complaining again and just left. The nuggets were also super greasy and the breading was mushy. Chick-fil-a nuggets are 100x better. I still love a properly made shake shack burger but i'm not coming back to this location anytime soon.

Good burger but curbside service is unreliable at this location. I don't usually eat inside but it looks clean and spacious enough.

Food review: I had the truffle burger which didn't taste very good. The burger itself did not taste good nor the truffle dressing. the bun was super small. Service was good and friendly. Ambiance looked like they tried to cut corners on cost. Not impressed with this place. I also had the choclate and vinalla shake. It did not taste very good. Why is this place so hyped?

I kid you not, when the burger came it looked right out of a commercial... really... wish I had taken a picture. Then, I took a bite - hot & delicious! The fries were crispy & hot! What?!? How did they get it all right!!!??? Service was super sweet too, bringing bbq sauce when she didn't have to. Just great - go!

The burgers are always so fresh. Love this new location, employees are great, welcoming, and attentive. Must try those chicken nuggets if you don't want the burgers

WHEN: Thursday @ 6pm Service was great, the cashier was helpful and prompt with our orders. Unfortunately my bf and I had stomachaches after consuming Shake shack at this location. WHAT WE ORDERED Nuggets (10pc) Portobello chicken sandwich Their milkshake machines are down that day, milkshakes aren't offered. I definitely would go not back again.

10/10 experience at this location. Honestly a welcoming environment, clean, well organized place and amazing people!! Thank you Destinee and Edgar for making sure my visit here was AMAZING!! Highly recommend to come to this location .

My boyfriend and I came here to try out Shake Shack, since we've heard lots of good things but never personally had it before. When we came in, we looked at the menu that was on their wall to decide what we wanted. A lady stood at the counter waiting but didn't say anything to us, and to be honest she was very soft spoken so it was hard to hear her when she did speak, I had to ask her to repeat a few times what she said and my boyfriend to while ordering food and drinks. I ordered the veggie burger and my boyfriend ordered Double smoke shack and we got an order of crinkle cut fries to share. He also ordered a kiwi lemonade. We were given a number and went to sit at a table. I went to get a cup of water on the side along with condiments which were available in small to-go bags or a squirt bottle. This was my first time having a veggie burger but it was absolutely delicious! I loved it and I would definitely order it again. My boyfriend enjoyed his burger too but was not full so he went back to order the lockhart burger. The burgers are average size, not really big so they're easy to finish for a single person. I was semi-full and didn't want to eat too much so I didn't order a 2nd one but I would have if I was really hungry. The space is good for group of friends but I'd say it's not for 10+ people without sitting at separated tables. The staff were very friendly and a lady was continuously coming by to pick up empty trays and trash while also giving out food orders to people who were waiting at tables. There was another lady who was also handling to-go orders for anyone who was waiting or had ordered online. Food quality is definitely good, service at this location is good as well and the space is overall clean! Price wise, I think it's high compared to other burger joints only (not fast food) because the burger was small in comparison to what I'm paying for. If it were a larger burger with more fries then I could say the pricing for both were fair but it wasn't even a combo option.

The food is ok. I've had much better food at other Shake Shack locations. Of course the portions are small and prices kind of high for what you're getting. All Shake Shacks are like that. It's part of their business model and it works for them. Most people enjoy their food. They're always packed at lunch. Good for them. For me, I can't justify the price with such small portions. There are several better burger places in the Houston area (even in Rice Village). The restaurant was dirty. Staff was rude. Lots of obnoxious and loud patrons. The place has become somewhat ghetto. The concrete shakes are delicious, so they've got that going for them. I won't be returning.

I'll preface this review with how much I do like the food. With this being said, the quality of service at this particular location has dramatically declined these past few months. I just placed an order to-go (on the app) and to be brought to my car. I arrived, checked in and was in my car for over 5-mins. From where I parked I could see into the store and see the to-go orders. My order was def ready and no one attempted to bring the order to my car. After 6 mins I went inside and was approached by a young man (who had his mask under his chin...what's the point of wearing a mask of it's not covering your mouth?) Anyways, I mentioned to this young man I had been waiting in my car for over 6 mins and he responded (with an attitude), "I didn't see you". Sir, you didn't even attempt to 1) pick up my bag and 2) literally go outside with my order to find my car which was the first spot in front of Shake Shack. I didn't appreciate him lying to me...just own it. Like I said, the quality of service at this location needs to be improved.

Overpriced RAW meat. I was served extremely pink meat in my pick up order and I am pregnant. Very disappointed and hoping I do not feel sick.

Saw an online deal for buy one get one shake free, pick-up only. Got the pumpkin patch and chocolate salted toffee shakes. Shakes were thick and creamy, flavors were subtle.

Yummo. Clean, fresh, fast, tasty describe this burger shack. Don't forget the fries smothered in cheese sauce! Top it all off with any shake, and you have a fantastic date night, shopping stopover, kid-friendly, food spot.

Dreadfully grisly hamburger. Excessively salty chicken bites. Congealed cheese "sauce". If you like having bits of gristle stuck between your teeth, this is the perfect hamburger for you. I will say that the lettuce was nice because I ordered a lettuce wrap and so was the avocado. But the sauce is too salty. The breading on the chicken bites is also too salty and the hamburger meat should be condemned. I guess I'd give it to my dog if I had a dog. But I might have to think about it first. Thankfully it's at least well done even though I didn't order it well done, so I don't have to worry about this meal other than it being supremely unpalatable. Chalk it up to experience. I wanted a quick meal and I got one. I can't eat it, but I did get it. So, one star for actually getting me the order quickly and one star for the veggies. By the way, this cost me $30 on Uber eats. Learn from my mistake.

So this is the first time that I've been to a shake shack and I must say that all of the staff that I interacted with was amazing but the food just was not for me, the hamburger patty was a thin piece of over cooked crunchy beef that really had no flavor, I thought the price was a bit outrageous for what you got so I probably would not go back again, that being said it's just not what I like in a burger, I know many people really like this style burger so it really was not about whether it was good or bad but mostly just not what I enjoy so go try for yourself. This was my 1st time to this location, and I was utterly disappointed. My grandsons burger was prepared wrong. My hamburger did not look acceptable, bun was scrapped on top and soggy but I didn't want to send it back because I had already waited due to the number of people in here and I was hungry. Basket of fries was skimpy barely any for $3.89. So these hiccups kept me from ordering a milkshake. Ordinary ambiance for burger joint. Spacious dining area and hostess that was cleaning tables was best thing about my experience, she was very courteous.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent, Edgar Destinee was so helpful and friendly . I will come back here again !

I was in the area and I was hungry so I came here. Well to be honest, I was only in the area because I was hoping to get some hot dogs at Yoyo's. However, during this particular Saturday Yoyo's was taking his vacation. It was the holiday season after all. I was going to go somewhere else but since I drove by Shake Shack and I'd never been to this particular location, I decided to stop. Let's get to the point. The good: - There's a plexiglass partition between the cashier and customers. - The food that came out right was good. - Cashier was pretty friendly. The bad: - The plexiglass partition combined with face masks worn by the cashier and myself made ordering pretty difficult. When I placed my order, the cashier had a hard time understanding me. I ordered a double smoke shack, and I asked if I could have the burger cooked medium (I forgot whether or not Shake Shack could make your burger to order) and the cashier just couldn't understand what I meant. She kept asking, "medium?" and I kept saying, "yes". I even told her I was referring to the doneness, to which she gave me a puzzled look as well. It wasn't until she talked to the kitchen crew that she was able to tell me that all burgers were cooked medium rare. - What I and my sister ordered were: a double smoke shack burger, a bacon cheeseburger, and an order of fries. When the cashier repeated my order back to me, she got everything correct except that she had said "two orders of fries". We corrected her, we paid, and we waited. When the food came out, we got a double smoke shack burger, a bacon cheese FRIES, and an order of fries. It was partially my mistake for not double checking my receipt, but I didn't feel the need to after she had repeated my order back to me. Plus, does anyone really order two order of fries AND a bacon cheese fries with only one burger? We didn't bother to go back to the cashier to get our order corrected because we didn't feel like waiting for the burger to come out so we just ate what we had and left. Good food but frustrating experience. This was more of a 2.5 stars but couldn't get myself to round up for now. Hopefully the next time I dine in here, my experience would be better.

Too loud. Too loud. Too loud. Food was okay. Nothing like wow. Hard to eat and talk in loud places like that. Seems like Houston has them more now.

Extremely bad food poisoning from this restaurant. Do not eat here. It was the only thing I ate that day (the food is heavy), so there's no chance the food poisoning was from something else. It's been almost 4 days and I'm still very ill. Tried calling the restaurant multiple times to tell them to stop serving the veggie burgers and check sanitation. Couldn't get a response. Had to email corporate. Still just was told they would pass along the information. I hope a kid or elderly person doesn't get sick, because I'm certain they would be hospitalised.

My boyfriend came here after an 8 hour shift for his first meal of the day in the late afternoon and had a horrendous experience. He saw his online order being made and placed on the shelf, but when he asked, a heavyset crossed eyed worker ignored him and continued to giggle with her friends in the back. My boyfriend had to wait 15-20 min with his food just sitting there on the rack. It's cold now and his name was literally NEVER called EVEN AFTER HE ASKED! Disgusting service and average food quality. Would recommend making the trip to a further Shake Shack to avoid this mess of a place or honestly, just skip this place in general. Go to Hopdoddy's or EVEN Wendy's for your burgers!!!!

This my wife and I's first visit to a Shake Shack. Our kids like them and we do t to now. A New York chain adds some local Texas flavor by selling a burger with Kreuz's sausage jalapeno and cheese sausage on it, very tasty. My wife thought her chicken nuggets were pretty good, I ate a couple and they were good. Our kids ( son and daughter-in-law) shared a cherry coke shake, they gave it 3 stars 'cause it wasn't very cherry tasting. Our buddy had the chicken sammich and loved it. She also had a glass of wine from California that came in a can from New Jersey, she'd never seen canned wine before but liked it. I took off points because they brought out our food but no napkins and no utensils could be found and one of us needed a fork.

I went here two days ago and they must of been in the Halloween spirit because my burger was raw pink when I bit down inside of it. I returned my food and the manager told me that's how they make their burgers now unless you want food poisoning I advise you to stop eating here health inspection need to make a pop up here service was good though ‍

Why don't we have one of these in Baton Rouge! I'd take these over Freddy's and multiple Five Guys shops any day. Everything was fresh and the people were kind. There are multiple options for everyone from burgers to chicken and salads and custard. I didn't try any of the custard due to just having ice cream but it looked really good. Everything is served a la carte. Very reasonable for two people to eat. Will visit again if I see one.

Bruh! What can you say bad about a Shake Shack Burger? My friend and I came for National Hamburger Day and enjoyed the heck out of our meal. Additionally the service was wonderful, especially the woman who took our order. She was even kind enough to check in and see if we wanted refills. Bonus: Avengers: Age of Ultron was playing so it was great to get dinner and a movie.

I got the ShackStack (regular cheese burger with mushroom too) and a chocolate shake. While I find all Shake Shack burgers overpriced for fast food burgers, I can't deny the burger was tasty! The regular shake was pretty big. I'm hard to displease with ice cream so I enjoyed the shake. Overall not a bad location! Very spacious with nice outdoor seating.
