Shake Shack Williamsburg

After working for a shake shack location on the NYS thruway, I needed to have a real Shake Shack experience. I have always loved the food, shakes, everything about Shake Shack. So being in Brooklyn was perfect to stop for a bite. It was so nice! Atmosphere was calm and soothing, it was clean, staff was super nice! And of course our food was amazing and made to order with our dine in tray looking gorgeous with all of our food facing front and beautiful 😉. Will definitely be back!

Tried the BBQ Korean burger of the month. It was tasty. I wish the condiments were more evenly distributed across the burger better but that didn't take away from it. The sunset lemonade was also good.

First time trying Shake Shack, had the cheese burger with red cherry peppers. Different and good! It was fourth of July and service was backed up because there were over 60 orders. Lobby was full of delivering people and we waited a long time but the food was good!

My recent order from Shake Shack consisted of two SmokeShack burgers accompanied by fries, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations. Despite a previous less-than-satisfactory encounter, this meal completely altered my perspective on Shake Shack's offerings. The burgers were nothing short of incredible, boasting a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The combination of smoky bacon, tangy ShackSauce, and perfectly cooked beef patties culminated in a truly mouthwatering experience. Paired with the crispy and flavorful fries, the meal was simply delightful. This experience has undoubtedly changed my stance on Shake Shack, and I now hold them in high regard for their exceptional burgers. I look forward to indulging in their offerings again in the future.

By far one of the cleanest locations I have seen! Friendly and fast service all around. What makes this location great is the proximity to the park and water for a great spot to eat your meal. The only downside is the constant presence of food delivery drivers parked outside, which can be annoying. Overall, a solid choice for a burger fix.

The service just doesn’t make you feel you’re at a shake shack. My order took more than 40 minutes to get ready 3 times. Staffs don’t care about how much you wait. And the order pick up window is swarmed by ubereats drivers make the experience even worse. Food is cold when I got it. Any McDonald’s branch has better service than here.

The quality and taste of the food at shake shack, especially this location has truly taken a hit. I ordered today and the food was inedible. Chicken was overcooked, unseasoned, bitter??? The burger was undercooked and unseasoned. I couldn't eat either - money in the trash. It also made me feel ill. I literally thought I'd rather have eaten McDonald's. So bad

The place is cozy and the staffs who served me my food was really nice. I'm definitely coming back because the space is really wide too and you don't feel choked up.

Shake shack is always a 10/10. Ordered for takeout and it was still delicious when I got home. Can never go wrong with the shack burger!

It's a Shake Shack. It seems like a converted garage, feels very warehouse-y with the concrete entrance. Plenty of wooden bench seating inside. Self order kiosks. The cheeseburger is a bit small but tastes great. Peaches & Cream shake tasted strongly of peaches but was really thick, not my favorite. Employees are friendly.

The burgers were good. Every burger was bursting with flavor. Highly recommend!!! Hands down, some of the best burgers I've had recently!!! They use good ingredients. Must try!!! Each bite was a delight!!! Don't miss out on trying!!!

Wow this was not a good experience at all. I had a gift card to use but the ipad kiosks don't accept gift cards since it's just square terminal payments. I had to wait at the cashier for someone to come out since they don't have staff available to help at the cashiers. I wanted to try out the chicken sandwich and the holiday shakes. First off, they give you table numbers so they can walk out and drop orders at the table, but they never came by. Instead the staff just calls out the name (not table number) from the kitchen and you're expected to be listening so you can walk up to the kitchen to grab the food. My food was sitting on the counter for 10 minutes before I realized what was going on. The chicken sandwich was disappointing. A chicken cutlet barely breaded and fried without letting the chicken rest before being served so it is soggy and drenched in oil, not to mention room temperature since it's been sitting on the counter for 10 minutes. My milkshake was already melting but at least I had it was tasty. I would rather prefer a McD's McChicken over Shake Shack's attempt at a chicken sandwich. $9 for this is a terrible value.

This location is very comfortable and cozy. On my most recent trip I came to enjoy my free birthday shake. I paired it with their famous chicken sandwich. I love the herbaceous mayonnaise dressing on the Chicken Shack- it really makes this the best chicken sandwich from any chain IMO. It's so satisfying especially in combination with the pickles. I ordered via the app and the order was completed within a reasonable amount of time. i also like that they had a cooler of complimentary ice water on the hot day.

Whoever prepped my food today and got it sent to me , bless you're whole heart. Y'all were in a great mood today ! I got a bacon cheese burger, cheese fries, Diet Coke and a strawberry shake. And good lordddd was everything slamming ! There was actual melted cheese ALL over my fries, not just the top. The bacon cheese burger was so flavorful! My Diet Coke was soo fresh and crispy. I always worry about fountain soda being flat and this was the opposite. It was like a crunchy cold soda, so freaking good. And last but not least, that strawberry shake topped it all off!!! I wish everyone could have this amazing Saturday that I'm experiencing in my belly.

I was working on Berry St near by and happened to be doing some errands and was looking to grab some food. Ran into this location. I wasn't sure if they were opened because there were so many people outside and a staff was standing on a stool as if blocking the door. I was able to enter and use the digital screen to place my order. While my order was to-go there are plenty of seats in the dinning room which seats about 25-30 ppl easily. The ambiance isn't loud and obnoxious but on the day I visited there were mostly high school aged children there. I went for the chicken bites, and a small order of fries. Baybeee these bites were super moist, flavorful and juicy. It was a party in mouth type of experience. The fries were pretty good too and if I seem genuinely surprised it's because I don't usually fancy fast food in general and so this was quite the experience for me. The chicken was so good I really didn't feel the need to mess things up with the honey mustard. For the first time I didn't sweat the fact id be sitting in traffic for 2 hours trying to get to Southeast Queens because my belly was satisfied and happy. There is planets of street parking provided you're going to place your order online, grab and go. Watch out for the traffic cops that are super quick and everywhere I'm that neighborhood. Overall I am pleased with the way Shake Shack is handling that chicken and the overall customer experience.

I've been to a bunch of other locations but this is my first time at this one. They have Kiosks (around 4 of them) where you can just order food and they will text you when it is ready. Initially I was very confused because the signs were not very clear and no one was nearby but we figured it out. There is a good amt of seating. They called out my name and texted me when my order was ready. I got the shake shack burger, cheese fries, and 50/50 strawberry lemonade. It was my first time getting the strawberry lemonade and I liked it. The burger was pretty good and consistent with my experience at other shake shack locations. When I went to get my fries they forgot my cheese so I had to ask about it. I also noticed another customer having an issue with their milkshake so I think it might be a consistent thing here.... I wouldn't say they were apologetic about forgetting my cheese but he checked the ticket and then just mentioned he would get the cheese after he checked my order. I didn't really care that much because I was dining in but if I had done takeout I may have been upset. I do like shake shack but I think the experience here may be a bit inconsistent with the other locations.

Bro I gotta stop going here. I've never not waited half and hour or more for a burger. Everyone is running around and arguing. One guy is wearing a garbage bag as a shirt for some reason. It's wild

Shake shack Williamsburg food was good. The place is more like a self-service when it's time to order. There were a few things that are on the menu that's not on the kiosk when you go to order so that was a little inconvenient and I had to ask for help and they assist and was very pleasant. They have a very large seating area where you can enjoy your food. I must say I really enjoyed the orange creamsicle shake. I haven't had soda float , it was really good it was like eating an orange cream icicle delicious!!!

This is an absolute minus! No one to serve you no one to help you nothing. I guess someone is making money.

My first time trying shake shack shakes. My daughter had a plain vanilla she said it was good. I had a strawberry shake, it was good just need more strawberry. The price is not bad next time I will try one of their burgers

Undercooked food, check. Filthy restroom, check. Dirty tables, check. Regretting my visit, check. Would not recommend this location and will not visit again.

Awful! Not only did they try to hand me food that a customer brought back but when I asked for the food to be remade it came out horrible. You can taste that the oil needed to be changed.

Made a quick pitstop here on a Saturday evening before heading to a concert. Inside the setup is to order from a kiosk, then get called when your order is ready. Kept it simple and got the Chick'n Bites ($5) - a few chunks of breaded fried chicken served alongside honey mustard. Overall quality wasn't great as the breading came off almost immediately. Chicken itself is fine, juice pieces of meat with some seasoning. Not nearly as good as some of their more popular items. Plenty of people on staff yet not really quick service. Certainly better locations if looking for a quality shake shack experience.

1.5 for this location. Disappointed in the quality of shake shack standard. First and probably the last time we come to this location. Maybe they just had an off day but I was super disappointed with our food. We placed our order on the app for pickup. Super easy app to use and we didn't have to wait long at all. Came for lunch on a Monday. They are serving food for pick up and outside seating. They are practicing covid protocols. Staff are kindly wearing gloves, masks and wiping down tables. (The six feet apart from what I noticed wasn't really enforced). I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. Nothing about my sandwich was crispy. I've ordered this a bunch of times and have always enjoyed it. The batter seemed different as well. It was missing the crunchy element. The batter looked extremely brown more so than normal. Sadly this time around it was cold from inside out. Our fries were also cold. My brother though, enjoyed his shack burger. The half ice tea and half lemonade is pretty good. I'd maybe come back for that to grab a quick refresher to go next time but ordering food, very questionable.

Not sure what is going on here. Waited 18 minutes for one single patty burger order. They need more help or dedicated to go versus to stay order system.

My first time to this location. It was during the pandemic so the seating was closed but ordering to go wasn't a problem. Simple process. They ask for your order, check it on an IPAD and pay for it and wait. The wait was minimum and the burgers at most locations I've been to are always good. Only dealt with one person but he was very nice and professional. Good service here. Parking was easy when I was there. I was able to find an open spot on the same block.

We'll, that was awesome. My girlfriend says it's the best shake shack in New York. Always on fleek and the employees are cool as hell.

5 stars because of the staff. I walked there from whole foods for an order I made on the app. This location has self service kiosks similar to the one near astor place. I was immediately greeted. I observed the staff being so kind and giving their clients everything with a smile and kind words. I decided to stay since the snow began to pile up and I was not ready to go into it. One young man came over to ask if I needed anything and volunteered the bathroom code just in case I needed it. The atmosphere feels family style and the store felt cozy. The two big screen TVs played sports A group of after school kids made a huge mess although their chaperones urged them to clean up after themselves. the staff immediately observed it had a chuckle and cleaned it. A young volunteered to discard my garbage. This was my first visit of this location and I like it. Thank you

Wow! I'm speechless. Just left this location that I've been to numerous times before. I picked up my web order and I was given the 3rd degree. I didn't have my confirmation number because I've been here other times and didn't need it nor was I ever asked for it. The process of ordering online never stated that I need to bring my confirmation. The young lady grabbed my bag and stated, "You can't have this!". She went to her manager who confronted me with a condescending attitude. Never again will I enter this establishment. I'll take my business elsewhere where I won't be treated like a second class citizen (maybe I should of worn a suit and tie to gain their respect, or maybe this goes beyond attire).

Food made me sick. Puked it all up. First and last time I'm coming here. If you want a good burger go to allswell

2nd disappointing experience at this location in 3 months. The first time around I waited about 25 minutes for a bacon cheeseburger, chicken sandwich, 2 sets of fries and two milkshakes and a lemonade. Midday on a Tuesday, the location wasn't busy at all, plenty of workers in the kitchen were having fun and taking their time filling orders. Had to correctremind them to add a chicken sandwich and fries that were left out when I checked the order before leaving. Bacon cheeseburger was just okay, fries each had about ten fries in the containers. My husband recently picked up another cheeseburger for me and was again disappointed, toppings were left off and looks like it was assembled by someone using their feet. Not at all in line with experiences I've had at other locations.

The customer service is bad here. Due to the fact that I couldn't grab enough ketchup packets. They yell at you if you grab more than 3 dry ass burger

I came here sereral times and the food is good. The workers are also average, however Danielle is just amazing. I came here after a long day at work. I was instantly greeted by this kind girl with a huge smile. She took care of mine and my boyfriends order quickly! After she finished our order, she continued to work. She made sure all the mobile orders wre picked up by the right people, as well as making sure other customers ordered correctly. She's great! The best part the whole establishment was very clean and put together.

Super friendly staff. Fast service. Best place for a quick bite in the neighborhood. Give these people a raise $$$$$ pronto.

This location just opened up in the summer of 2018. It's not usually crowded and has a decent amount of seats. I visited on Wednesday 9/13/2018 at about 9:20 pm. Regarding staff, one of the cashier men was super friendly, yet was not overly intrusive. I appreciated that he acknowledged me by welcoming me when I entered, but gave me space and didn't bother me until I asked him for help. It was nice that he stood nearby, but didn't approach me until I made eye contact with him, and was very quick and happy to help me with a few questions I had. He was great! In addition, the kitchen staff works fast. Also, the employees who distribute completed orders are good; they call out names clearly, and will persist loudly until the customer picks up the food. Overall, great and efficient staff. When I ordered through Shake Shack's app for pickup, there was a slight hiccup. The app submitted my order twice in error. Luckily, kitchen staff was smart enough to recognize the app's mistake, prepared only one order for me, and referred me to the manager who swiftly voided the erroneous duplicate charge to my credit card. Great customer service! My only gripe is that even though I received a text that my order was complete and ready for pickup, I stood at the pickup window waiting about twenty minutes before I received my order. I ordered a double shack burger w pickles $8.49, well- done double shack burger lettuce wrap (no bun) with pickles $8.49, cheese fries with the cheese sauce on the side $3.99, chocolate shake $5.29, and my grand total was $28.59. My food order was spot on even though I had a lot of modifications. They forgot to give me my chocolate shake, so I had to run back to get it. They genuinely apologized and remedied the issue in a matter of seconds. Kudos to the polite and fast staff! All the food was nicely packaged and tasted great. Side bar, the app is kind of crappy because it's missing the concrete specials, custards, and you can't order a few other additional things, but this is not the staff's fault. Still 5 stars because staff is great and food is fast and tasty. Also nice to see they also include local businesses from the neighborhood in some of their custards (IE: Shack Attack has Mast Brothers' dark chocolate chunks, Brooklyn Pie Oh My has Four and Twenty Blackbird's pie mixed in, another has Du's Donuts, etc). Despite the app fiasco and forgotten milkshake, I really appreciate the niceness of the employees who work at this location and how they try to fix any issues as quickly as possible, so I'll definitely return.

Pretty cool Shake Shack restaurant, company was discovered in 2004 same year as yelp and a lot of great companies started that year....lol. This branch is located in the Williamsburg- Greenpoint section of Brooklyn. The workers seem pretty cool. my god-sister has a friend that works here. but usually works at the shake shack on Flatbush ave and Atlantic avenue near the Barclays center but do the George Flyold rally there transfer in the meantime until the shake shack near the Barclay's center reopens after renovations over , well anyhow I order the chicken nuggets and some fries there taste pretty good I wouldn't mind coming back to this place if I'm in the Williamsburg-Greenpoint area. all dough when my food was ready the server had a hard time pronouncing my name on the sales receipt ....lol it's French. very convient by the mta transporation : Subway: L-Train. Bedford Avenue . train station. G-Train.Metropolitan avenue.train station. bus: B62,etc buses

We go to this location frequently (nearly once a week- or at least we used to) as it's our oldest daughter's favorite in Williamsburg. The food is generally good, but we've had more than a few minor mixups (though always corrected). They've been heavily promoting the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich with outdoor signs on Berry Street as well as all over the interior walls. I tried ordering it at the self serve kiosk underneath the giant sign asking me to order it. Nope, not coming up on the menu. I tried with the cashier, no luck for her. Then the manager came and tried. No luck for him. He then sheepishly volunteered that maybe they were out of the new Hot Chicken. I then asked why they have all the signs up for it - why not put a sign saying they were sold out before making customers waste their time trying to order what's not available? The staff is sometimes confused but always friendly. But this is such an avoidable mistake - as well as deceptive advertising - that I don't want to come back until I feel I can trust Shake Shake again. So many other old school dependable burger options in Williamsburg (Yes you, good ol' Dumont Burger) that respect the customer.

My favorite shake shack location in America. Food is as good as any shack but the service is really a step above. A member of the shack team heard my girlfriend say her fries were slightly cold. Without asking they brought two fresh hot orders of fries. Good folks.

I've had shake shack like a bunch of times but for some reason this one is always the fastest. Most places taste the same but this one doin something extra. 5 stars

Newest spot in the shake shack family!!! Great location with a large interior! The staff is also so friendly - Dorian was so nice and went out of his way to get me a cup of water when my hands were full! The new bbq bacon fries are amazing and a must get- way better than just regular fries! They also have sparkling water on tap - so rare to find that!

I was very disappointed when I went to pick up my schroom burger... definitely not worth $7 something because it was soooo small and wasn't filling at all. I was really hurt in the inside when I got it. I could definitely have went to another shake shack and got it way bigger the one I got.

AVOID DELIVERY AT ALL COSTS!!!! Ordered a large amount of food on Grubhub. Driver showed up with someone else's order, a milkshake and a hotdog, and insisted i take it. I refused, and he told me there was nothing he could do, thats the order they gave him, a bag of food with someone else's name and number stapled onto it. The driver told me to call Shake Shack. There is no number to call Shake Shack. Simply a number that takes you to a centralized voicemail system. Grubhub did refund me, but only after 2 hours spent total between ordering and trying to resolve this. Not worth the hastle. AVOID!!!

Great place and food. Kinda pricey imo. I'd give it a 3.1. The location was pretty random tho cause it didnt seem like much.

Two thumbs up. The food is good as expected and the staff is relatively friendly with a very accommodating dining area. This joint can also get fairly busy at lunch time and for good reason. I can confidently recommend this particular Shake Shake to anyone in the area.

Never ever order or go to shake Shack. Terrible experience. Delivery guy gave me the wrong order. Took up too much time to fix it. You cannot reach Shake shat through the app or yelp. So i was left with three some most descusting hamburgers and three awful cold fries. Nothing to drink. All i wanted was a shake, juice and a grilled cheese sandwich. I got my money back tho. Just dont.

Burger itself was great that's the 2 stars . Service eh. I ordered a burger lettuce wrap (Bunless) got one with a bun. I mentioned the mistake as I wouldn't it the bun and toss it. Why waste food. The server quickly printed out my order showing me that I was wrong ( waste of paper ) I explained to her that I know what I ordered and that the cashier entered it wrong. Amazed was I and another 4 customers waiting on line for our order she rolled her eyes took a perfectly good burger tossed in the trash and I was worried about thumping the bun. I don't think I want to give my money to an establishment that would allow this. Better off going to Smash or if your lucky and have one near by a Habit Burger.

This place is fucking horrible ... first let me start with the fact that everytime I order they send me pink meat after checking of well done .. second no one ever answer the phone !!! Horrible horrible horrible ... every chance I get I'm adding a bad review due to the fact that the food is horrible

My delivery was cancelled 2 hours in the delivery. Delayed twice by 30 min . Oh and for refund I have to contact rid who is impossible to reach they told me to fill out a form online are u out of ur mind ppl. It's 2022 fill out a form never again Am I ordering on the app never

Something seriously wrong with this Shake Shack. The staff is awful, their pick up situation is a hot mess and they NEVER get the orders right, like ever. Check out the picture for today's burger, no shack sauce as usual because apparently "on the side" means optional at this location and please look at the pickles... I mean... at this point they're just going out of their way to be terrible.

I know shake shack quality is better than what I recently received from them. I mean it was horrible in taste and appearance. I wish I had the meals there so I could get a refund. Wheres the quality control? Everything except the fries were burnt. Completely unacceptable and I think I'm done for this location.

Just ordered for Delivery, no tracking unless with app . Ordered hot ones cheese fries but it had bacon on top which is not what I ordered . Ultimately threw out my whole order of fries

This "shake" was delivered by Door Dash and my cheeseburger was missing. Did I just feed my driver or did you get it wrong? Call with an issue and their answering machine says you will be contacted in 24 hours. Not true, my daughter had an issue Sunday and now I give them a chance because mistakes happen and this! What a joke! Bye Shake Shack!

Ate here couple days ago... this is my first time visiting a shake shack.. and I must say it was ok. I had the chicken sandwich, however it didn't do it for me.. but overall the service was dope. And am a sucker for self serve places so the fact that I can create my own meal is a plus.. next time I'll try the mushroom burger they have there

The service here is like any other shake shack but it is more of a chill environment in this shake shack. There are a lot of customers but not as busy or demanding as other shake shacks which makes for the perfect chill environment. If you sit down to eat the TVs are usually on football. The restaurant doesn't get rowdy like a sports bar would. I tasted the Hot n'Spicy chicken sandwich extra hot and it honestly wasn't that spicy, it definitely could have been spicier in my opinion. I also tried it with the cheese fries which was so good but I never feel like I get enough fries for the cost. The last thing I tried was the concrete and I was disappointed because I thought she said it had brownies but it was just double dark chocolate, too much for me, i ended up throwing it away half way through it.

"Bouncer" wouldn't let me come inside 1 minute after closing when my friends had ordered me food and were inside eating. Ate my food cold. Had to wait outside. Doesn't care about customers I guess. 1 star always and forever. Never coming back and was a long time customer.

on 2/4/21 I placed an order via seamless for this restaurant. I received a confirmation immediately. After that I received messages every half hour of delays. The food arrived WAY over an hour late and was literally ICE COLD. The managers should have called me to let me know they couldn't handle the order and given me the option to cancel. Additionally, the restaurant's phone number was not listed on Seamless. So I couldn't call them, anyway! Why am I putting this on Seamless? Well, Seamless has removed the ability to add new reviews. I definitely will not order from here again. I order delivery when I am too tired to cook and am hungry. From now on I'll just settle for some canned soup.

Last night we came here to order take out . Let's start with the beginning . I ordered regular fries, and was charged for cheese fries. The cashier suggested if I would like cheese fries and I said NO, he still charged me for them ! I picked up my $6 plain TINY cheeseburger . When I came home ( I live 1 block away) my little cheeseburger was cold . The lettuce was not fresh and crisp. Honestly I feel like they had an old burger that was made 15 minutes ago and they threw it in the TO GO bag because I received my food way too quickly. I've had shake shack in DUMBO and I loved it ! This location was the complete opposite! I would definitely steer away from this location.
