"The sister restaurant to Mediterranean Exploration Company offers a few varieties of silky, delicately textured hummus at this simple and classy Mediterranean street food venue. Served with freshly baked pita, the simple Hummus Abu Hassan, inspired by a famous hummus spot of the same name in Jaffa, is like chickpea whipped cream blended with tahini and lemon, and topped with chickpeas, parsley, and a lots of olive oil. A heartier hummus dish comes decked with braised lamb, carrots, and green chickpeas. "With two locations and a third on the way, John Gorham’s Shalom Y’all is slowly spreading the shakshuka gospel on both sides of the river.
