Shangri La Chinese Gourmet

Worst Chinese food My Family and I have had! We didn’t even finish we ended up throwing it away! No taste AT ALL!!! Spent $60 on just Orange chicken and a combo fried rice and some wings! Yuk!!!! I put 4 packages of soy sauce in my combo rice and I couldn’t get any taste!! The only good taste I got was the sprite I had and that was it!!! Stay away from here! Get you some Popeyes or Churches chicken, I should have done that instead!!! Lesson learned!!!!!

Wtf is this? Where is the meat? And the rice hard peppers and onions are so big I literally have like ten pieces of meat. Okay!!! So I had to edit my review 🤦🏽‍♀️ it’s been a year since I last tried this place. At 8:15 my husband and I ordered dinner. I ordered shrimp egg foo young. First having it and from what I’ve saw the meat is on the inside so I thought it was weird af that my shrimp is on the outside. I was eating and realized it was roast beef egg foo young the gravy is loose and blend shrimp over cooked. I also ordered shrimp fried rice and it was undercooked.

The owner has a negative attitude off top. I order from the menu they had on there website and called in my order for pickup. I got Kong pao pork & house lomein but my Kong pao pork had penuts in it and that's not what they showed on the menu or i wouldn't of order it or told them not to add, called and explained my issue and she told me just to take them out of the food and it will be OK and the menu is from 2007 and I need to come and get a paper menu from them. Lomein was good but customer service with a bad attitude isn't. Negative Prices don't match on web site expect higher price

I ordered a hot Singapore. Not sure it's even on the menu but they made it for me. Definitely one of the best I've ever had. Also ordered the seafood soup which was excellent. If I lived here it would definitely be my go-to place

One of my favorite lunch spots. The food is always fresh. Kam our server is always prompt, polite, and professional. Great price, fast service, and quiet atmosphere.

It was beautiful inside the restaurant and Tracey was very nice and friendly I would recommend this place to anyone that is in Columbus Georgia and the food is amazing I got a moogoo Gai Pan and hubby got the sweet and sour chicken

It was okay the Mongolian Beef was to sweet to me and had way to many onions. My partners meal had way too many peppers and onions. Was not impressed the Egg Drop Soup was pretty good.

Without question the best Chinese restaurant in the Columbus region, the food is incredible the service is exceptional. Lunch specials are seven days a week and plentiful. When searching for a great Chinese restaurant, look no further. There are others in the area that are acceptable but none compare to Shangri La

3.5 is what I really want to give this place. First time trying. I did take out. Service was quick and food was ready at my pick up time. Place inside is pretty big and roomy. It was busy since it was lunch time. Pricing is reasonable. Although they gave me the wrong dish, the rest of what we ordered was good. I ordered Mongolian beef but I got pork instead. General Taos chicken was good. Boyfriend approved. I recommend this place if you're looking for a sit down meal or to go.

Everything was delicious! We ordered egg rolls, egg flower soup, beef & vegetable, chicken & vegetable, also extra broccoli! We enjoyed everything, we will be coming back!

Food arrived hot and fresh but one item was incomplete! No Water Chestnuts in the order of Mushrooms, Snowpeas and Waterchestnuts!

So good! We started ordering takeout from here when COVID-19 lockdowns were in effect. So glad we did! It has become our favorite place. The lady who takes orders (and now serves in the open dining area) is so kind and friendly. I highly recommend the potstickers, sesame shrimp, orange chicken, mongolian beef, and the fried rice. It is amazing. My family (including picky kids) love the food; we even bring out of town guests there.

I had the Tomato Pepper Steak, much to my surprised,i it was DELICIOUS. I recommend this establishment and I will go back again.

Used to eat at this restaurant until I went to the bathroom and their oldest son was taking a shit and walked out without washing his hands and was out serving people when I came out! Will never eat there again. Very unsanitary and discusting!

Got the cashew chicken lunch special to go. It was not the worst I've had but it definitely wasn't very good. Was smothered in sauce. The egg roll was disgusting and soggy. Probably would not ever eat here again. Also, they prepared it so quickly that it made me a little nervous to eat it...

Best Chinese food in Columbus, GA. Every dish I've had has always been full of flavor! From the shrimp egg foo yong, to shrimp fried rice, Mongolian chicken, chicken lo mein, literally their entire menu! It's up there with Lee's but not And as expensive! I called Chef Lees to place an order they quoted me $200 I called Shangri La instead placed the same order and only paid $80 and the food was much better! Haven't been anywhere else since . No complaints whatsoever .

Awful! Egg Rolls were doughy, old and pasty; tasted days old with no filling. The fried rice was simply rice; no veggies, eggs or meat. And the wings were old and dry. When I called to voice my concerns, I was just left on the phone. The female answered; but, she never returned. That female clerk is extremely rude with no patience. If you don't like 'walk in' orders you should tell your customers; don't just give them what you have left out on the counters. Because the order was prepared in five minutes.

Have had a few dishes from this restaurant , Double cooked pork is delicious as is Ginger & green onion shrimp . Shrimp fried rice & General Tso's chicken is also great . Really good quality food .

We have been looking for a good Chinese food place for the last year and a half, and this place is my favorite so far in Columbus. They're only a 10 minute drive from Fort Benning, so I left to pick up my food as soon as I finished ordering on the phone, and it was ready when I got there. It looks nice on the inside. The woman behind the counter was actually friendly (unlike most other places that I've been to where they have bare minimum customer interaction), but most importantly the food was good. We ordered the General Tsu, Cashew Chicken, Shrimp with Lobster sauce, and Fried Wantons. The fried rice even had egg and little bit of vegetables in it (we went to one place where their "fried" rice was orange and had nothing in it). I'm very pleased with this place and will definitely be ordering again.

Always good food. It's tucked off in a corner so most won't see it. But if you're a fan of Chef Lee's. ShangriLa is essentially the same thing. 5 stars!

Wonderful food! I ordered pork chow mein and egg flower soup. Everything was great! I can be a bit picky with my Chinese food, so it's always wonderful to find a local place that I love.

The food was not great in flavor.... I ordered sweet and sour pork.., they made it like smaller than bite size and it looked like they just poured the sauce over food.. I ended up just throwing all my food away. I was tired and didn't feel like preparing it myself. Lesson learned!!!

Disrespectful as Hell here!! Make you not even want to order!! And I didn't!! If you know that your English is not clear why do you expect someone else to understand you then you get indignant about it!! Not good customer service at all!!

This place is the only place I will order take out. Hands down amazing. Family owned place and all of them are so kind and personal. Food is fresh and hot and is made quicky quality over quanity for the price! Soooo worth it.

I stop here everytime I come to Columbus. Food is consistent. Service is pleasant and quick. Surprised there are not more reviews.
